Yeah, what are you going to say about a place that actually does little to nothing for you, just say hello, pay, and goodbye. Wide selection of food, that’s true. We were there on a Tuesday evening. The beer tasted dead, a letdown. You have to get and collect your own drinks without any explanation. The food that was ready wasn't really kept track of well. Every time, a maximum of 6 to 8 pieces of meat in the tray. I wouldn't really recommend this place, but that can of course vary from person to person. There were four of us and we all agreed the food was fine, but we've had better. So we won't be coming back here.

The place wasn't really full, which was a shame. The service was top-notch. The concept was clearly explained. Moreover, drinks were brought to us, which saved us several trips to the bar. The food was more than plentiful and tasty.

The food itself was fine. We had reserved for 4 pm, but due to circumstances and traffic, we arrived around 4:30 pm. We immediately got a telling-off for not calling, because now they had rushed to prepare the buffet for nothing, even though the website states they open at 4 pm, so they didn't do this especially for us. Once seated at the table, we were asked if we had been here often and if we had had wok food before. We said no, we hadn't been here, but we had been to another wok restaurant. Okay, then you know how it works, enjoy your meal. No explanation, no drinks shown to us, nothing. Subsequently, the very unpleasant waitress stood talking at another table the whole time (including about us), and we didn't see her again for the rest of the time. Fortunately, another waitress who cleared the plates was very friendly.

This isn't just a restaurant—it's a true gem in the Netherlands ❤️ Our favorite place, where we've been returning every month for the second year in a row. After moving here, it was difficult for us to get used to many things, especially the local cuisine, but this place was a real discovery for us 🫶🏻 We always feel happy here and return with great pleasure. The food is always incredibly fresh, delicious, and high-quality. There's a huge selection of dishes, everything prepared with love and attention. But most importantly, it's the people. Excellent service, the kindest, most sincere, and warmest staff, who always greet you with a smile and create a special atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for your hard work, warmth, and care for your guests. For us, this is the best place in the Netherlands, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! ❤️

The food was absolutely delicious, but the best part of this restaurant is the service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They clear dirty plates very quickly and often ask if you need anything else. You really feel that they care about their guests. I honestly don’t understand why this place has only 4.0 rating. I am pregnant; I threw up all the food this morning because it just wasn't good. The chicken didn't look appetizing... so I didn't eat it. A good friend of ours got an instant stomach ache from a piece of shrimp. And he didn't eat it because it wasn't tasty anymore. The wait staff kept looking at our table. Very uncomfortable...

Spent 2 days at Hotel Lumen and 2 days enjoying delicious wok food at Wokstadium Zwolle. The food was fantastic and the staff super friendly. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality.

We ate here with a group of 11. There is an extensive buffet, and the wok and grill offer a wide selection. And everything is extremely tasty. A positive point is that there is also plenty of choice for the children. Highly recommended!

This wok always feels a bit like coming home: a personal and friendly welcome. The food is super fresh, and the buffet is regularly updated and renewed. Really good value for money 👍

All-you-can-eat concept with a generous buffet selection and live cooking. Friendly staff. Paid parking, but your exit ticket is activated free of charge at the bar.

It was overcrowded. The food was always empty or not very warm. There was only one man to do the stir-frying, but the line was incredibly long. A staff member had to keep pushing through with a cart for dirty plates, etc. Not very convenient or tasty. The staff were friendly, though.

The food selection is plentiful. We arrived on time, and everything was fine and quiet. As it got busy, the "sloppy" things started to happen. The grilled steak was still dark red inside. Just raw. The chicken breast, unfortunately, wasn't cooked through. The trays emptied quickly, and the sushi was plundered. The children's play area was packed with "too" big kids. As a result, the little ones couldn't play. It's a small play area, too. Before it got busy, the food was delicious and plentiful. So be on time! Don't forget your parking ticket! They scan it so you don't have to pay! Great!

We had made a reservation to watch the football match while eating. But we couldn't get window seats, so we had to stand to see anything. Still nice, but if you want to watch the match, you really need a window seat. If you're only going for the football match, it's best to avoid this place; there's a risk you won't see much. We also arrived late, and there weren't many people there. The staff repeatedly told us that if something was out of stock, we could just ask. However, there was still plenty of choice; one dish was indeed out, but that wasn't a problem. The food is very tasty. There was no line at the wok and grill, so it moved quickly. Finally: If you go during a football match, be aware of parking. We had to walk 10 minutes, which isn't a big deal, but it is annoying if you don't know where it is.

From a great wok to the worst wok in Zwolle and the surrounding area! After a long time, I visited the Wokstadion in Zwolle again during the summer holidays, which was very quiet. The furniture, wallpaper, and entrance were just like they were six years ago. The food has deteriorated significantly over the years. The gray prawns in the wok were a few a bit pink, and of course, nothing was fried from that wok. The nasi and bami weren't what we recognize and order from Chinese restaurants; it was white rice with egg. Bami was the same. Both tasted stale. Then came the sushi, which tasted only of nori and some salty rice. There wasn't much variety, and everything was almost empty. Then I had the 2- to 3-cm sashimi. It was cut too thick, making it hard to chew and tasted metallic. The steamed salmon looked good, but tasted of iron/metal and was watery. Every bite tasted strange, and our stomachs have been churning ever since. You'd bet we'd have woks then, you know, and we definitely knew that. The garlic is nothing special. There was so much garlic that even an Italian or shawarma place can't match it. Overall, the snacks from the containers were lukewarm. So we finished with dessert. The strawberry dessert with whipped cream was just whipped cream with a bit of food coloring, so don't expect much. And then there's baklava. Unfortunately, it's stale and chewy... but otherwise, the drinks were delicious! The service is quick when it comes to empty plates and dirty dishes. Parking is free. After an hour, we left and spent the evening feeling sick on the couch and in the toilet after eating three plates.

Teleurstellende ervaring bij Wokstadion Helaas viel ons bezoek erg tegen. Het eten was lauw tot koud en smaakte niet vers. Zelfs het glas waaruit ik dronk was vies. Toen we onze opmerkingen deelden, werd er niets mee gedaan — men beweerde simpelweg dat alles in orde was. Erg jammer, want zo voel je je als klant niet serieus genomen. Wij komen niet terug.

The staff is not really friendly. And one of us was scolded by customers because of her appearance, but the staff did nothing about it and allowed everything to happen. I also wanted to go to the toilet before eating, which was not allowed, but I think things have gone downhill.

Very neat staff. We were with a large group and could easily sit in the restaurant with everyone. Food was all nicely replenished and there was no difficulty in ordering more beer (the first glass does not necessarily have to be empty before you can get a new one).

As a big fan of wok restaurants, this was the biggest disappointment ever. Later that evening, all the containers were empty and there was no sushi left. With every dish we ordered it got worse because the chef was no longer in the mood. Beef terriyaki became just beef, the stir-fry dish came without sauce. After discussing everything, the finger was pointed at the customer. Never experienced anything like this before. If you want a delicious stir-fry in Zwolle, you should definitely go elsewhere.

Unlimited apparently does not mean unlimited. I ordered some more beer, but I didn't get more than 2 at a time. At 2 minutes before our time was up we didn't get any more beer because our time was up. Bad service and apparently not unlimited

We kwamen hier om een voetbal wedstrijd te kijken. Als eerste hadden we gebeld, ( volgens het personeel), voor een goede plek bij het raam. Zo zouden we alles goed kunnen zien. Bij aankomst komen we erachter dat we helaas helemaal in het hoekje geplaatst waren, en zo dus eigenlijk niks van de westrijd kunnen zien. We hadden zicht op 1 stukje goal en het publiek. Erg jammer voor de moeite die we erin hebben gestoken om extra vroeg onze plek te reserveren. We hebben even contact gezocht met het personeel op dat moment en de situatie uitgelegd. Helaas geven ze daar helemaal niks om. Toch jammer dat we helemaal uit Brabant zijn gekomen met de trein om alsnog deze voetbal wedstrijd op onze telefoon te moeten bekijken. Het eten was oké, maar ook niet dat je zegt heel speciaal. Ook zijn de stoelen erg prikkelbaar onderaan bij het aanschuiven. Dat lijdde tot een bebloede vinger. Al met al, we hadden er betere verwachtingen bij.

The wok and griddle were ok. The other dishes were bad, everything was lukewarm or cold and old. The downstairs entrance was full of boxes, not a very friendly hall. Maybe a snapshot, but when you spend a day in Zwolle this is a disappointment.

What is nice about this restaurant is that = the location. Just behind the PEC stadium & it has a lift + spacious aisles or wheelchair friendly. You can park in front of the door - ideal! We also found the staff friendly. We asked for a quiet place & this was feasible - we were allowed to choose a spot ourselves. In terms of atmosphere / few stimuli, this is a nice restaurant ;-) There is a wide range of food. And yet I give 'only' 3 stars for the quality of the food. This is because the buffet in terms of fish etc was disappointing - including the sushi. The freshly prepared wok dishes were of good quality! So I would like to give this as a tip - pay attention to the quality of the food with regard to the current buffet.

Fresh and many options, excellent staff, helpful. Food well prepared, not too greasy. Beautiful variation in Eastern food, fun for children too.

If it is the same as at the station, then it is a waste of money

Unfortunately, with pain in my heart, I have to give a 1 star. We used to come back here regularly up to 2 years ago. That was also disappointing at the time. So after 2 years I gave it a chance but was even more disappointed than 2 years ago. It's not what it used to be anymore. Nothing has been updated in the concept in all these years. While the competition is making leaps and bounds and has an extensive menu. Anyway, it's great that you stick to your own concept. But then top up. Many empty trays and not refilled (in a timely manner). What it says is lukewarm and inedible. At the grill, while it is not busy at all and there is only 1 meat on the grill, you just have to wait, then the 2 hours you have reserved will pass quickly because of the unnecessary waiting. The staff doesn't seem to be too interested either. Never going here again, there are much better wok restaurants in the area.

Dramatic! A lot of food is very lukewarm, there is little choice and many dishes are empty. Sushi had no taste and did not seem fresh. The desserts all seemed to have come straight from the freezer and the apple pie was very watery. I think only 20% were filled in terms of guests. I understand why. I really haven't eaten anywhere this bad before. Had already been warned, but thought they deserved a chance. I'll never go here again.

Very unfriendly staff. Been here with my assistance dog. This was the 2nd time and just like the first time, I had problems with accessibility. Assistance dogs may not be refused in public places, including this restaurant. Owners are certainly not aware of what the constitution says in this regard. Had to put the dog on a piece of tarpaulin because of the carpet. Was talked to in a nasty, harsh tone. With the exception of a young girl who works there, she thought the dog was very cute. This was definitely the last time I'll be here.

Delicious food, very good people behind the wok. They clearly knew what they were doing, delicious meat. Also enough for vegetarian or vegan. The area around the building was a bit dark and surrounded by casinos and such. Came across as shady; but the food was perfect.

The meat in the "warm" containers is just cold! The fries are cold, are not replaced, but after 45 minutes others are added. The chicken in the wok was not cooked properly and the garlic sauce is not a sauce but only pure garlic, the vegetables were also not cooked enough and were still very hard. The whipped cream in the desserts is too thick and curdled. All in all, definitely NOT recommended. We had made a reservation for 2 hours but were gone after 1 hour and 15 minutes!

Wij komen hier al jaren en zijn al jaren erg tevreden. We hoorden via via dat het minder zou zijn geworden, maar daar hebben we niets van gemerkt. Het eten was heerlijk, werd op tijd aangevuld, genoeg personeel bij wok en grill. Netjes alles meteen afgeruimd, dus wat ons betreft wederom een 8!

All of which have decreased in recent years. Chairs do indeed need to be replaced (were always too cramped next to each other under the table; just fits....little room to move if someone is sitting next to you), less choice in ready-made (only 1 rack left) than for years back and a lot was just cold one way or another. The gentleman at the wok doesn't look too friendly/cheerful either. Pity. Was always a child at home here. Not anymore. Come on people, you can't go on like this much longer :-(

I will give this as a tip for a wok restaurant. Food is good, hot and tasty. Parking is free . A minor point is that it is large and busy.

Incredibly dirty here. First and last time. Downright unfriendly staff. Do not want to think about solutions. There were at least 4 tables that complained tonight and they just laughed at us. No compensation or anything. Food was cold. Everything was empty. And then you heard; Yes, you shouldn't come at half past eight, it will be empty. Scandalous. Never eat here! Oh yes, and the “manager” was filming us as guests and laughing at us because we had complained. Know what you're wasting your money on.

The entrance to the restaurant is beautiful with beautiful lamps, but after we walked up the stairs the restaurant felt chilly and cold (quite dark). But it turned out it wasn't just the feeling. It was also really quite cold. We were then assigned another place, but it was not much warmer there. The food was fine. But be careful that you eat food that is in the sauce. That is usually nice and warm. Not the fries, for example. They were cold too. So first check how long it has been there. The choice was also excellent, and the dessert was also excellent.

Food is generally more expensive in the Netherlands, but as a German I can't recommend the food at the Wokstadion. There was only a small selection of prepared dishes and they weren't really hot, even though they were under warming stations. Most of the sauces were already dried out. On the one hand, it was nice that the raw vegetables were cooked beforehand at the wok station, but then there was a mountain of completely cooked vegetables. The meat and fish station convinced me that I would also like to have this in Germany. The service didn't even understand the numbers of the sauces you wanted. Otherwise they were polite and quick to clear up. The conclusion for me is that the price and performance don't match.

Staff was unfriendly and impersonal. They don't speak proper Dutch. With the last cup of coffee we were reminded that our time was up. Food was not bad but not special. The spicy sauce was not spicy at all. All in all not recommended.

Excellent wok restaurant, but the price/quality ratio was a bit disappointing. Tables are close together and the chairs need replacing.

A very small restaurant. There are only 4 tables. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Based on the portions, you can only say, “You’ll be full!”

Food was very average; looked like the leftovers. We saw things that seemed to have been there for hours: stuck to the bottom. The taste was lacking, even the wok was mediocre. The only thing that was reasonable was the griddle stuff. Too bad about the kilos of garlic that went on top of that. Female service was polite. Drink choice was fine. The view of Pec Stadium is nice, especially during a match. That's why 2 more stars. You don't have to come there for the food.
