I had a nice drink here, the music was a bit too loud during the day, but otherwise it was fine. The atmosphere is more pleasant and you get served quickly.

Cozy little place. The service was friendly and enthusiastic, and they regularly checked on our tables to make sure everything was still to our liking. Our lunch order arrived quickly, and it was delicious as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We were there for lunch, and the terrace was lovely and large. Friendly service, uncomplicated. Plenty of lunch dishes. Wait times were reasonable.

Some of the staff were a bit inattentive, but everyone was friendly. We highly recommend the sandwiches and tarte flambée. The ambiance is dreamy, very cozy, and invites you to linger.

We had a delicious lunch! However, we found the portions a bit meager for the price. The service was good, though. I did have to wipe away the bird droppings on my chair myself with a cloth, which they rinsed and then used to wipe the table again.

Hello. Delicious food, great service. Fast, extremely friendly. Just the standard bistro. It's packed, especially on weekends. It's not exactly cozy... but it's Citypoint, and that's why you go there.

Boring and little for what you have to pay for it..

I ordered a special white fillet roll. The fillet was delicious, but it was served on a white casino roll that could have come straight from Aldi. (And that for €9.00). When you go out for lunch, I expect a roll/bun or a slice of country bread. If you want a soggy white roll, you can also eat it at home... The staff was very busy; because of the nice weather, everything was full. However, we did have to wait a long time for the bill. The seating inside and outside is very pleasant! So, it's recommended, but I'd go for a brown roll to avoid disappointment.

Delicious food and very nice service

We managed to get a spot on the terrace at Wonder's. First, we enjoyed delicious fresh mint tea, then apple pie with coffee. Great atmosphere.

We stay in Bergen about four times a year, and Wonders is a wonderful place to eat. Great service, delicious food, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Fantastic!

Al jaren favoriete plek om heerlijk te eten en te drinken. Fijne menukaart. Gezellig op het terras, maar nu binnen gezeten. Met geliefde daar heerlijk gegeten (ook oesters met bubbels natuurlijk). Bediening door Barry was super gastvrij en zeer attent. Aanrader!

See and be seen. Food is varied and plentiful.

We had 2 nice sandwiches, mine was absolutely delicious (Caprese) and my boyfriend ordered a tosti with jalapeños. Both were fresh and very good in taste, with fresh ingredients. We also ordered sweet potato French fries with truffle mayo and parmesan, this was a highlight 💖 they’re also very friendly and quick service!

Very cozy interior. Unfortunately, we arrived 10 minutes early for the dinner menu and were only able to choose from the small dishes for the day. Our dog lady was welcome 👍

After visiting Loetje, we had a drink here on the terrace. Nicely decorated restaurant and atmosphere full of terrace outside. If we had known this earlier we would have skipped Loetje But we'll do that again next time.

Bitterballen of an exceptional level!

We were at this restaurant on Easter Sunday and unfortunately our visit did not live up to our expectations based on the prices. The food was appealing, but the price-performance ratio was simply not right. The service left a lot to be desired. We had to wait 25 minutes and sat in front of empty glasses and plates to order new drinks, which is unacceptable in a restaurant with such prices. Due to the long wait, we ended up asking for the bill without ordering the drinks.

Delicious food. It was very busy (which we see as a good sign). Still, the service was friendly and everything went quite smoothly. Quality and presentation excellent, not haute cuisine, but that's not what you go for. I would go again in a heartbeat.

For simple food, but something a little different. Delicious food, starter and main course, and coffee and something tasty. Fish starter was very tasty. The main course, chicken atjar, was just okay. Chicken literally fell apart, wonderfully tender. Staff was very friendly, but sometimes a bit inattentive. The atmosphere in the corner where we sat was fine, but I wouldn't sit in the middle because of the crowds.

Super nice tent, reception was nicely done by the man who received us. Brought it a lot of fun for 10 year old child.

Samen met een goede vriend hier op een woensdagavond wezen eten. Het was niet druk. Diverse klanten zaten binnen dan wel buiten op het overdekte terras. Bediening was zeer goed. Snel aanwezig als je ze nodig hebt en niet storend aanwezig. Top. Als vooraf de uiensoep. Deze was zeer goed. Mooie laag met gesmolten kaas. In de soep zelf mooie stukken ui die goed waren gegaard. Als hoofdgerecht had ik het kippetje en mijn vriend de tournedos. Ook dit prima eten. Goed klaargemaakt. Aanrader om nog een keer heen te gaan.

Wonderful. If you come from Turkey and want to have a delicious but light evening, you can't find it. If you drink 18€ appetizer plate and 2 beers each, you are guaranteed to have a pleasant evening conversation for 40€.

Went there on a quiet January evening after the holidays a d i was pleasantly surprised about the attentive staff and service- a good chat and food options. Clean, well maintained and centrally located in the historic village Bergen. In my opinion this is one of the better Wonders in da hood. I enjoyed it and will go back for sure.

Aardig. Ligt eraan op welke dag je er bent hoe de bediening is. De jongere garde heeft het altijd te druk met elkaar ipv met de klanten. De uiensoep is lekker , maar iedere keer heel lauw.. hoort echt heet te zijn. Al met al niet meer voor herhaling vatbaar.

Food is good, but the service could be better. Taking orders takes quite a while, if you are seen at all. For the rest I thought it was quite chaotic.

Delicious food, a limited menu but prepared with care. Very nice atmosphere and very clean. It was a bit cold on the terrace but it was full inside (Saturday evening). Super friendly staff, especially the host who welcomes you with a smile and is very helpful. Highly recommended!!

Nice place, drinks and food were fine. Toilet was very dirty, which is a bit of a shame, it immediately gives a negative impression.

Everything was perfect except for one thing! Location, atmosphere, staff, service top! Spareribs super tasty! Even though it says sweet, I thought they were a bit too spicy (I'm not used to anything). What we thought was a shame were the wet wipes we received for your hands. We couldn't get that overpowering smell off our hands until the next morning after a long shower. We prefer a cloth with lemon scent 😁 We liked it better than Loetje, where we had dinner the night before. Definitely go to Wonders again next time, but without a wet napkin!!! 😉

Op zaterdag 26 oktober 2024 rond 18.00uur ging ik hier met mijn neef binnen. Hij was er met zijn vrouw al vaker geweest. De ontvangst was keurig, de manager wees ons een tafeltje links bij de spiegel aan. Het Thaise hoofdgerecht was goed verzorgd. De wijn (Chardonnay) was lekker en de dame blanche was ook goed verzorgd. Qua verlichting vind ik Wonder's ideaal: kleine lampjes met gedempt licht op het tafeltje en in het algemeen is het etablissement goed aangekleed. Managers en personeel zijn kordaat.

Thank you for the incredibly nice and uncomplicated service. We were able to change tables from outside to inside without any problems after we had ordered and the smokers at the next table had unpacked their cigarettes. So we were able to enjoy our delicious lunch.

Het eten smaakte echt heerlijk, ware het niet dat na enkele happen ik op een hard iets beet Dat bleek een dikke, grote uitgevouwen niet te zijn zoals gebruikt wordt bij dikke kartonnen dozen. Aangegeven bij de bediening die daarop aangaf de kok in te lichten. Verder mijn eten wel opgegeten maar op het voorval niets terug gehoord en dat is best raar! Aangezien dat naast het feit dat dit sowieso niet mag gebeuren het heel vervelende consequenties had kunnen hebben.

Normaal gesproken schrijf ik eigenlijk nooit een review maar wil nu toch even een tip meegeven aan Wonders. Wij hadden als lunch een 12-uurtje en dat viel eigenlijk wel een beetje tegen. Heerlijk soepje daar valt niets over te melden maar wat we wel jammer vonden is dat er dan 2 halve broodjes liggen op het plankje waar eigelijk op de één net je kroket oppast en op het andere helfje zit een klein beetje tonijnsalade. Allebei lekker maar het zit er toch veel rijker uit als er gewoon 2 snetjes landbrood op de plank liggen en wat kost dat nu extra............ Bediening prima!!!

Schijnbaar mag je tegenwoordig blij zijn dat je ergens mag eten ipv dat het bedrijf blij is dat je komt. Ondanks 2 eerdere positieve ervaringen vandaag zeer teleurstellend. Geen lach. Geen aandacht. Miste beide heren (managers) in de bediening. Het eten was mager. Mosselen met wat grote stukken venkel en paprika? De excellent salade zwom in de dressing. En de bediening? Dames die openlijk kibbelden over hun ruzie met de koks en vergaten de gasten. Dat wens ik niet bij een avondje uit. En wanneer je de dame (manager) erop aansprak en de rekening vroeg? Liep ze weg en liet het verder over aan haar jongere collega. En de eigenaar Paul? Zat lekker op zijn terras aan zijn fluitje bier. €70 euro armer dropen we af. We zijn even genezen van Wonders.

Celebrated my birthday with our entire family (8 people) at Wonder's. Due to a misunderstanding with the booking, we sat inside behind the glass on a beautiful summer evening instead of on the (busy and cozy) terrace. This was a disappointment. When I explained this to the waiter, everything was done to free up a table for us and we were still able to 'move' outside. Everything was done to ensure that we had a fun and enjoyable evening. And this really worked out! Many thanks 🙏🏽 especially to the gentleman in the service inside who picked up my 'signal' so well. Kudos!!

A restaurant with atmosphere, service and delicious food! Everything is thought of. Dogs more than welcome. I can highly recommend the carpaccio and mix grill (2 persons). The Dame Blanche key is also excellent. Experience it yourself and enjoy the friendly service and good quality.

Eigenlijk bij toeval hier binnengevallen om even wat te eten. Het pakte anders uit. De moderne en tevens sfeervolle en gezellige ambiance, maar zeker ook de hartelijke ontvangst, deden ons meteen besluiten er een avondje dineren van te maken. En dat pakte uitstekend uit. Samen de escargots en coquilles-ravioli als voorgerecht gedeeld. Misschien iets te vettige sausjes, maar wel overheerlijk. De lamshaas was prima bereid, en ging goed samen met met gegrilde groenten. De Pad Thai was een absolute verrassing. Een royale portie, vol met gamba’s en kip, en heerlijk gekruid. Ook de open wijnen waren prima. We hebben genoten en komen terug!

The ratio between price and quality is unfavorable. Partly due to less favorable tables and noise that passes for music, but has nothing to do with it.

Wonders in Bergen. Spent this weekend in the Bergen North Holland area. What a nice and cozy village Bergen is! Nice shops and enjoy a drink and a snack on the heated outdoor terrace. So have a good stay. Spent almost an entire afternoon at Wonders for a drink and extensive lunch. Cozy tent and what a nice and good staff they have there. The person who served us was Lizzy, a nice, easy-going girl with just the right chat who was also very helpful in choosing what to eat and drink. This is helpful to you as a customer! We love a good wine and Lizzy knew exactly what I wanted based on my wishes. Truly someone who fits right into the catering industry and lives for it. I can imagine that as a catering owner you are looking for staff like her! But that will certainly not be easy in these times where good and skilled personnel are scarce. Wonders in Bergen, a restaurant where we will certainly return with great pleasure. Peter

After the dentist I always come here for coffee, a drink and something to eat.

What a beautiful thing! Even on a day like Saturday January 27, the terrace is full! We had a breather inside. A delicious soup and my wife a great sandwich. Despite the crowds, the table was served quickly. It was also busy inside and a bit noisy with a threatening child in the background. But we will definitely come back!

10 jaar geleden was ik hier voor het laatst. Dat lijkt raar want het restaurant ligt 200 meter van mijn huis en heeft absoluut het mooiste terras van Bergen. Maar indertijd was het eten slecht, de bediening waardeloos en de muziek fout. Toch vanmiddag maar weer eens geprobeerd, want dat terras ziet er zo verleidelijk uit. En goed verwarmd ook. Zelfs naar binnen, want ik was met vrouw en dochter. Dat was in figuurlijke zin best een drempel te nemen. Er volgde een totale verrassing. Uitermate hartelijke ontvangst door een vlotte ober. Bediening verder ook super. Fijne leestafel waaraan we zaten. Zou het daarna toch misgaan? Niet dus. Geduldig wachtende serveerster bij de bestelling van mijn dochter die ook nog iets opgewarmd wilde hebben wat niet standaard opgewarmd wordt. Laat ik het kort houden. Fantastisch. Minpuntje, tja Grolsch, gelukkig zag ik ook wat alternatieven van het vat. Dat is voor de volgende keer, we hielden het nu bij Latte en die was prima. Top. En fijn voor mij zo'n terras op loopafstand en fantastisch uitzicht op het Plein.

Heerlijk gegeten op lekker verwarmd terras.
