Insanely delicious rolls, perfect croissants (the price is definitely justified!) and many other great things. It's very worth it!

Today I visited Wouter Bakker for the second time. They are now also open on Saturdays and have delicious pastries and coffee. Highly recommended when you are on Texel at the weekend!

Delicious crossaints in different flavors, great coffee and a lawn with benches to relax. Unfortunately there is no option to eat on site when it rains, but excellent when the weather is good!

Were here for the first time. Everything is super delicious 🤗 You just have to get there early.

We were there for the first time this morning. This will now be our first course of the day on the weekends when we are on Texel. The croissants, the rolls, the cinnamon rolls and everything else we bought is simply delicious. Unfortunately we won't see each other again until May. Thank you

Wonderfully refined bakery/coffee shop! Delicious flat white, milk alternatives available and the lemon meringue tortellette was really delicious. It's a good thing they're only open on Saturday and Sunday mornings, otherwise I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Very nice little bakery, in the middle of a residential area. Nice garden and terrace where you can sit. Delicious food: cakes, croissants, pain au chocolat, cookies. And of course great coffee (also oat milk!) and juices. We will definitely come back!

Very nice location, just outside the center. Plenty of room outside to chill out, cozy inside but with a wide choice. Beautiful cakes! I had some stress about choosing (and was secretly a bit hungry), so I just chose three. Lemon meringue was my favorite (also in terms of looks), but the rest was absolutely nothing to sneeze at! The friendly guy behind the counter - he could easily be called Wouter - enthusiastically gave us excellent tips for beautiful gravel roads in addition to our existing cycle route. Great, come back anyway :)

I was drawn to this bakery by the reviews. Really really fantastic! They didn't have everything due to problems earlier this week, but just the baguette and croissants were fantastic. The croissant is a work of art to behold. It would be great if they were open more often in high season. I have picked up for several people and delivered them to them in the morning. Cozy place hidden in the neighborhood, with tasty pastries and coffee!

We got to know the bakery Wouter Bakker during our stay at De Leeuwerik. Even if you don't stay there, it is definitely worth a visit to enjoy all the goodies available here. Your eyes are bigger than your stomach in that case, so pay attention ;) In any case, we tried everything, from a loaf of bread, filled croissants and the canal rolls to coffee. Don't be put off if there is a queue. It is a small business where 1 customer is treated at a time, so that a queue automatically forms quickly. Unfortunately we were unlucky ('wrong' season) that the bakery was only open for 1 morning, otherwise we would certainly have visited more often to taste all the other tasty things. And it's good to know that when the weather is good, you can sit outside on the terrace. Fortunately, it is covered when the weather is less good, so you can still sit outside to enjoy your sandwiches/cakes/coffee. Anyway: very tasty and definitely worth the money, enjoyed!

Small, but so good. Smells right into the alley. The pastries are delicious and it’s sometimes hard to get something past 9 am, since they’re so popular. Highly recommended.

A true experience! Somewhere in a residential area there is a small artisan shed from which they sell the most delicious, crispy, tasty, authentic croissants, cakes and sourdough breads! Unfortunately they are only open on Sundays so we finished everything!! Definitely worth it and it will make your day.

Wenn man auf Texel ist, muß man diesen kleinen Bäcker auf jeden Fall besuchen. Handwerklich und geschmacklich kann man Backwaren kaum besser machen. Schade, daß er nur für wenige Stunden sonntags geöffnet hat. Aber vielleicht ist das ja auch der Schlüssel für die hohe Qualität. Wenn man das gesamte Spektrum der Backwaren erleben will, sollte man sich rechtzeitig auf den Weg machen. Glaubt mir, wenn ich sage, das ist es wert!

Very good quality croissants especially but also cinnamon rolls. Such a nice young lady behind the counter. Note that cash is not accepted in this store and bring your debit or credit card.

Die Auswahl an Backwaren ist wirklich toll und man merkt, dass vom Backen bis hin zur Einrichtung der Bäckerei stets Liebe ins Detail gesteckt wird! Die Preise sind für die Qualität und die echte Handwerkskunst absolut fair. Ein so süßer Laden mit ganz freundlichen Menschen! Ich komme garantiert wieder und empfehle die Bäckerei weiter. :) Die Zimtschnecke war die beste meines Lebens!

Der etwas andere Bakker auf Texel. Sehr ansprechende Auswahl an Backwaren. Lecker Brot und Brötchen sowie andere Teilchen. Wichtig! Pünktlich sein, der Andrang ist groß und der Wouter Bakker hat aktuell nur Sonntags geöffnet. NUR KARTENZAHLUNG!

Echt heerlijk ambachtelijke bakker. Geen fabriekbrood maar echt stoer puur brood. Als je op texel bent absoluut aan te raden!

Je waant je in Frankrijk met de heerlijke croissants van Wouter. Deze bedreven jongen kan ook heerlijk brood bakken. Prima plek voor een lekker ontbijt op texel met een goede espresso. Wij komen hier zeker terug.

Kleinschalige bakker met echt zulke lekkere croissantjes, gevulde croissantjes, koffie broodjes en stengels. Eigenlijk maakt het niet uit wat je koopt alles is met veel liefde gemaakt. Ik zag dat ze ook ontbijt boxen hadden. Deze gaan we ook zeker eens uit proberen.

Gewoon helemaal top, beste croissantjes van Nederland! Elke keer als we op Texel zijn halen we hier de (gevulde) croissants. In de randstad zou deze plek beroemd zijn, hier is het een verborgen parel.

Sehr leckeres Brot und Brötchen aus echtem Sauerteig! Wir haben eine Frühstücksbox für 2 bestellt und empfehlen auf jeden Fall weiter. Im Cafégarten kann man entspannt einen Kaffee genießen und beim Gespräch mit dem Inhaber bemerkt man sofort seine Leidenschaft fürs Backen! Annika und Paul

Das erste mal dort gewesen. Das Brot ist hervorragend und das Experiment für uns gelungen! Croissants sind hervorragend. Ja, teurer als der Platzhirsch aber auch freundlicher und ökologischer verpackt! Macht weiter so, vllt. ja doch mal in die Dorfstraße! Endlich vernünftiges Brot auf Texel!
