We were in Amsterdam for the first time, only 3 days, but we visited this place twice. First it was a hearty, incredibly delicious dinner, and then a life-saving breakfast. We walked to this establishment for an hour, many times we almost gave up, but the intention to experience this taste was stronger. I was impressed by the rich taste of real broth and a magical combination of spices. No artificial flavors of cheap seasonings. And the pork burger is just space: a small simple bun with a magical filling of tender meat! I already dream of experiencing this taste again! This is a simple establishment, do not expect pathos here or service that will blow your mind. Everything here is simple, everyday and very tasty. And if it seemed to someone that somehow the service was not wow ... then just think about how many DIFFERENT people are here every day. Workers also have feelings and character. Be simpler and kinder 🧡 P.S. If your iPhone is dead, you can charge it here, but for Android it's better to have a charger with you 👹

It is always full. They serve the best noodles everything is handmade.

Food is alright. They charge for tap water lol

The cold potato salad had a really strange flavor. The sauerkraut had a fussy, almost artificial taste. But they gave a generous amount of meat. The wontons were huge!! Very good. You rarely get this kind of food in Europe. Ah, the branch in The Hague is about two euros cheaper than in Amsterdam.

Had to come back here when I came back to Amsterdam because their noodles are really good. The dumplings are good too. We got the beef stew noodle soup, the basic noodle soup, the seafood noodle soup, the peanut/sesame noodle, all of which are quite good. The beef noodle soup with pickled cabbage was a bit too garlicky. The dandan noodle was surprisingly soupy instead of saucy. The service is not the best, but I’m kind of used to it for most Chinese restaurants as they’re not known for good customer service. Do expect a line during meal time since they’re busy. You can skip the wait if you go right when they open or for a late lunch/early dinner.

The noodles were very flavourful. One drawback, there were some which were kinda undercooked. The staff were very kind and the kimchi was too fresh. I will be back for sure.

There are no words to describe how amazing the Szechuan Style Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was, definitely the best I’ve had in Amsterdam and this is the 6th time I’ve been here in 10 years. This place is a hidden gem! The staff are so friendly and kind as well. For all the stoners who are visiting, there is a great Coffeeshop nearby called Dolphins that has a very high quality menu, so I suggest going there for a smoke before walking down to here… you won’t regret it! Fair prices and fantastic food. Phenomenal, 10/10.

Noodles are cooked very well, springy with just a touch of al dente. They also give you plenty of meat in the soup. One star deducted due to the taste of Dan Dan Noodles which tasted bland..almost pasta-ish and not like the authentic ones. If you come on lunch or dinner times, be prepared to wait 20-30 min outside. Service was very fast.

I was really craving a warm bowl of noodles flavorful broth. A friend recommended this place, and judging by the long line outside, it was clearly worth checking out! We both went for the braised beef noodles and to my surprise, it was halal too. So nice. The noodles were perfectly chewy, the beef was tender, and the broth was clear but full of flavor (subtle). Simple, delicious, and super affordable. It’s not a fancy or atmospheric spot, but that’s not really what you’re here for. It’s all about grabbing a quick, tasty meal and heading out

It pains me to say this but it's not what it used to be. I ordered the lamb chili oil noodles and the lamb was so tough and flavorless I confused it for beef, and the whole dish was tasteless and very bland. Maybe the other dishes on the menu are still tasty and I just ordered an unlucky item, but authentic Chinese chili oil noodles should not taste like... This 😭 It's nice to see that they still make and hand pull all of their noodles in the kitchen though.

Delicious! We were looking for a place to eat before a concert, so we walked in here pretty much randomly. We arrived at a quiet time, but the place quickly filled up. And rightly so! Yum... If you want to eat here, make sure you get there early! When we left, there were people waiting.

I went here in 2022 and came a few times, but today was lower than expected… the noodles were overcooked, the broth was flavorless, and even though it’s okay to add it ourselves, it was so disappointing… I came alone, and I don't know if they saw I spoke Chinese, so they served the food to the table next to me first (they arrived later than me). My noodle soup wasn't worth it. So disappointing.

Good value for money. Clean restrooms (unlike their other location on Zeedijk!). Reasonably quick-eat-and-go vibe.

My experience at this Chinese restaurant was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were told the wait would be about 15 minutes, but it ended up being over 40. To top it all off, we saw how another table that arrived after us received their food first, which seemed like a complete lack of organization. When our dishes were finally brought to us, there were also issues with the service: one dish was served first, and the others arrived 10 or 15 minutes later, so we couldn't eat at the same time. As for the food, it was another disaster. My noodles were completely tasteless, the broth was flavorless and had an unpleasant texture. My companion ordered another dish that was excessively salty. Overall, the quality was terrible. Between the long wait, the lack of coordination with the tables, and the poor quality of the food, I sincerely do not recommend this place. A very disappointing experience.

Best noodles I’ve ever had. The Hot Spicy Noodles are their signature dish and they absolutely a hit, great, they are perfect, my girlfriend is in love with them and always wants to come here. Yes the place is loud, and the staff barely speaks English but the food is awesome, the menu is clear and the prices are very cheap for being Amsterdam. The play a bit dirty on the beverages because they cost a lot, but everything is written in the menu so I’m fine, and again, the actual food is very fairly priced. Come here because of the noodles and you’ll be amazed

I love the noodles, but please please add your braised chicken noodles to thuisbezorgd, we used to love ordering that, but we don’t use Uber Eats anymore and this item is not available

Dumplings skins are too thick and meat tastes old. Noodles caused stomach problems.

Their knife-cut noodles are my favorite, and the prices are reasonable considering it's located in Amsterdam.

The food is good but quite simple, and the meat a little bit overcooked. Lots of noise during rush hour making it difficult to talk. The staff was also straightforward.

24 euro’s, waiting one hour to be delivered this clump of what is supposed to be a noodle soup. Tried calling them, they pick up, ignore you and start helping other customers. Rude and a waste of money - never again.

At first, they were ignored, even though there were almost no customers. Then the wrong food came for my wife... so she couldn't eat at the same time as me. The food was good, but nothing earth-shattering for me, as a potato.

A Go-To Spot for Comfort Food in Amsterdam This place has become a staple for me, especially on cold, rainy Amsterdam evenings. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect dinner spot to unwind. The staff is helpful and kind, though understandably a bit overwhelmed during busy hours due to high demand. The food consistently delivers: the noodles are always a solid choice, the salads make great sides, and I highly recommend starting with the dumplings, they’re excellent. Ideal for a date night or a small group, though it can be a bit tricky to manage with a larger party. Still, it’s one of my top picks in the city.

We had a delicious meal at Xi’an Delicious Foods! The peanut butter paste noodles were surprisingly flavorful, though quite spicy. The fried chicken dumplings and spicy sour cucumber were also excellent, although the latter was really spicy. Portions are large, so the price-quality ratio is good. The only downside: the staff was a bit distant. Definitely recommended if you like authentic Chinese food! Tasty lunch at Xi’an Delicious Foods! The peanut butter paste noodles were rich and flavorful—quite spicy, though. We also had the fried chicken dumplings and spicy sour cucumber, both very good, but the cucumber dish was really hot! We came here after looking at the ramen place a few doors down- this restaurant caught our eye and had better prices. The portions are great for the price ! I had the spicy oil noodles which were filling and incredibly delicious. They were not very spicy, but there is chili oil readily available. Very cozy atmosphere with some windows for people watching the crowds. Will be coming again!

I ordered fried dumplings and two bowls of noodles. You can choose the type of noodles and the food came out pretty quickly. If you don't mind spicy food, even the dishes marked with a chili pepper aren't spicy. The dumplings were delicious. Tap water is charged.

It’s a noodle shop inside Chinatown. I ordered their braised noodles and shredded potatoes. The portion of the braised noodles was huge — super filling and definitely worth the price. The flavor was pretty good, though a bit on the salty side. The shredded potatoes were surprisingly sweet, which was quite unique and refreshing. The interior has a strong Chinese vibe, and the staff all speak Chinese. It’s decently clean, but it can get a bit stuffy in the summer. Overall, it’s a good value for money!

Avoid this place. Menu prices are fake: they silently hike the bill at checkout, claiming “prices went up.” Dishonest and rude—steer clear. And to top it off, they served the wrong dish and now expect customer to pay for their mistake. unbelievable！ ps Lol, the menu literally doesn’t list any wonton noodles at €16.50—maybe update it before inventing stories about “colleague mix-ups.”

Real Chinese cuisine in Amsterdam! Found by chance, we discovered a gem. The atmosphere is very easy, it feels like home. It seems family-run, the staff is very kind and welcoming. Suuuuper space-age homemade ravioli (you can taste it), very good stuffed Chinese sandwich, in my opinion it was a bit dry, while the dish of the century is the Braised Noodles! What can I say, phenomenal, excellent noodles, superlative meat and vegetables, portion even too large in fact I was exploding. Prices are rather cheap I would say for being in Amsterdam. I recommend!

I enjoyed the food and the ability to choose the type of noodles. The menu is good with the photos, but lacks detail for my taste. The sweet and sour side of the sauce wasn't specified for one bowl. For the other bowl, the noodles weren't spicy, even though it was marked with 2 chili peppers on the menu. It's a shame. A mistake in the service (12 boiled dumplings instead of 6 fried ones), but a goodwill gesture was offered by offering free drinks.

Place is smaller than their branches in den haag, but atmosphere is quite the same. This branch is more spacious and modern than the branch near amsterdam station. Service is good, food is good; but uses less spices than what i had before. Portion and plating is nice, plenty variety as always.

Because it is next to the red light district, the street is very busy. Ordered one spicy and one mild beef brisket noodle soup 🐂 (€14.5) So Sorry🥹The soup is really amazing❗️I would also like to have a master 👨🏼‍🍳hand-pulled noodles🥸 (the "trouser belt noodles" I call are springy and chewy, and the "round noodles" are thicker but soak up the soup)❗️If you look purely at taste, the bowl of soup and the noodles are really worth 84 points😍 Let me say it again: If you don’t have to cater to the needs of children or the elderly, you can go on a trip; if you are interested, you should try more local things❗️This time I will take the lead and help you find multiple options🥰

Ordered the braised noodle with chicken. While the chicken and veggie tasted ok, the noodle wasn’t my cup of tea. Too bland. And then I had diarrhea from it. But I still want to give this resto a second chance because the pictures of other meals still looked very appealing. Service was good. Fast and profesional.
