Good food, but forgot my order (in a combined order with my colleagues) while I was super hungry

Terrible, staff was very rude, we were waiting for 1.5 hour before we got our food. We asked multiple times whether our food was ready after 1 hour and they kept ignoring us. They pretended they did not see us, but they really did. Service is really despicable.

The staff is super sweet and the noodles are really amazing. The portion is quite large, so I recommend always sharing it. Tip: order the dumplings!

Please, please remove the cloyingly sweet shredded potatoes and the mutton stew with bread as hard as shoe soles from the menu! Who puts so many vegetables in their mutton stew? Every bite is teetering on the edge of depression.

The food is delicious, including the vegan options. You choose your dish and then the type of meat or tofu. The pickled cabbage noodle soup is delicious with tofu. A large bowl of noodles with tasty broth. Friendly service. Tip: come here in the afternoon for lunch when it is still quiet. Advice to the kitchen staff: do not smoke cigarettes outside the door; it is dirty and the smoke blows inside.

We went there spontaneously. We got a table without any problems. It was absolutely delicious. The service was super friendly and quick. A warm bowl of noodle soup like that is a lifesaver after 8 hours of rain. I highly recommend it.

A great authentic Chinese food in the middle of Amsterdam. The service is friendly and food came super quick. The noodle soups are to die for, and the Dan Dan noodles were also good. Price seemed fair for the location.

Feels like an authentic hawker kind of vibe. The noodles were amazing and the portions are big. Staff are pretty cold and rude. Expect them to give you the side-eye when you are taking too long to eat and they want to serve other customers so they make more money.

The zha jiang mian (noodles with minced meat sauce) was too salty, and the beef noodle soup only had three slices of beef 😅

Not very authentic food but still decent. My kids loved their spicy noodle soups, so I would stick with those instead of ordering other dishes. Dan dan mian was too watery. Noodles were a good texture however.

As a Chinese person, I've been to noodle shops in Xi'an. Now I doubt even the owner has ever been to Xi'an. The pork in the roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was completely stale; the meat was rotten and very unfresh. The liangpi (cold skin noodles) was definitely industrial-grade. Putting the money aside, the meal was disgusting. Don't ever come here!

A fantastic find in Amsterdam! This charming little restaurant offers fresh, homemade dishes. The daily specials are delicious, generous, and prepared with care. The service is quick, efficient, and excellent, with a very warm welcome. The prices are also very reasonable considering the quality. I ordered food to go and picked it up. It was for me to go there a long bike ride but I know the one in den Haag and I love it there so I tried the one in Amsterdam. Once home, we didn’t had any soup with the ordered food. We ordered dumplings sour soup and braised beef noodle soup. But we got the food, only not any liquids. When we called the restaurant to explain, the woman didnt understood Dutch. Then I explained in English but it also seems she didn’t understand English. She sounded very annoyed with me and kept asking if I wanted to eat in the restaurant or do take away. Then while I explained again, she hanged up on me. I called again, explained again to another woman, and again she hanged up on me. We ordered quite some food, 41 euros of food, soups dishes and no liquids. It’s very unfortunate and the taste isn’t also the same without the liquids.

The restaurant had no air conditioning, it was unbearably hot, and the service staff were extremely rude. They claimed the air conditioner had been stolen and they couldn't do anything about it. How can customers enjoy their food if the restaurant doesn't provide a pleasant dining environment? The outside temperature was 23 degrees Celsius, and the inside must have been 40 degrees Celsius. Having to eat soup noodles was torture! The roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was also terrible!

All Chinese food lovers should avoid this restaurant. The food was absolutely terrible. Honestly, even random street food would taste better than what we were served here, and the prices certainly weren't cheap. There were four of us, and we ordered four different noodle dishes. Not a single one was enjoyable. Every dish was disappointing. I genuinely don't understand how a place serving food like this stays in business. If you're claiming any connection to Xi'an cuisine, you're doing it a huge disservice. Please stop misleading customers and damaging the reputation of authentic Xi'an food. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time.

BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT IN AMSTERDAM! Every time I go I am surprised by how great the food is. They really ruined other Chinese restaurants for me, because nothing hits the spot as much as their noodles!

We ended up at this restaurant out of desperation because one of the restaurants we wanted to try was closed. We went because we saw quite a few people there. We were very warmly welcomed despite the fact that they were closing in a few minutes. We didn't feel rushed to order, and on top of that, the food was really, really good.

The flavor is incomparable, we ordered lamb and beef, I highly recommend the beef with thin crust. We visited in the summer, there's no air conditioning in the establishment but there were fans. The service was a bit curt, let's say, but in the end the gentleman was more polite. We will return many more times.

Pretty authentic chinese restaurant We ordered fried rice w egg and chicken, and the noodles with beef. The noodles were very tasty and even better when adding some chili oil to it. The fried rice portion was huge, and very tasty as well. Sadly dont have a photo of that one Little noisy restaurant bc kitchen so close to the seating area. Also got a plum soda, which was also tasty, a little tart

They served spoiled food. We ordered eggplants which tasted a bit sour. We asked the waiter if they had put vinegar and they said no, which means the sourness is due to the food being spoiled. They agreed to serve a new plate, which is appreciated. Nevertheless, it has shown that their food hygiene is still of concern and the owner should be more diligent about the safety of the customers.

I had a wonderful experience at this cafe. The noodles were amazing, the broth was delicious. The staff was very friendly, and the fans were working. Everything was great, I'll definitely be back.

Apparently noodles are better than noodle soups; I always just got Bean sauce noodles and get never have enough of them, my friends got a soup and were less satisfied. But I love the place, it's quite authentic, simple and delicious, not overpriced and in the centre. Definitely go

We stumbled upon this Shaanxi noodle shop quite randomly, thinking we were back in New York eating Xi'an's famous cuisine! Even though it was past lunchtime, it was packed, but thankfully we didn't have to wait too long to get a seat. The beef oil-splashed noodles with slices of beef were incredibly satisfying, and the braised beef noodles were perfectly seasoned with flavorful meat and chewy noodles – a true comfort to our Asian palates.

A cute place in the center of Amsterdam, with convenient tables inside and out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend the noodles (any type and with any topping) because they're excellent quality and very filling. We called to make a reservation but were told they don't accept reservations for two people, only for larger groups.

Noodle soups are nice, full.of taste. For being in the centre of Amsterdam, this place is outstanding: price to quality AND quantity ratio especially. However, their own location in The Hague bears this place in all aspects.

Mao Zedong's China has never been so competent; their mastery of Chinese cuisine is impressive, as is their speed of service. A minor weakness lies with the dumplings, but this doesn't detract from the overall performance.

Extremely bad experience, the waiter had a terrible attitude, very unfriendly and impatient, she acted like we’re bothering her the whole time. The waitress took orders from people came in after us while kept ignoring us. We sat there like idiots while she pretended we didn't exist. Unbelievable rudeness. WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER HAD. If you can't do your job, get out of the service industry and never coming back.

Great food for a good price! Staff is friendly, food came out quickly and was delicious. The first time I tried to go was at night for dinner, but it was full with a line out the door. In the afternoon, got a table right away.

I had the peanut butter paste noodle soup. It consisted only of noodles, peanut sauce, and cucumber. Since I had indicated that I wanted the vegetarian options, I had expected some extra vegetables. That was disappointing. Therefore, I found the price of €16.50 unjustifiable. For me, the fried rice lacked the umami factor. Too bad, I had expected more from it.

I often come back to Xian Delicious Foods for their noodles and always enjoy it. The service is fast, and the noodles are spicy, flavorful, and satisfying. A great spot for a quick, tasty meal that I’ll definitely return to.

Disappointing experience. The food was good and well-presented. The welcome was mediocre and the service extremely rushed. We hadn't even finished our meal before they came to charge us with the card machine. We'd barely gotten up from our chairs when they practically swept our feet. We understand that time is of the essence, but in that case, it would be better to stop accepting customers altogether. Worse than a fast-food restaurant, what a shame!

I went there to order takeaway. My food was ready from the first ten minutes. However it was sitting behind the till for more than 20 minutes. I went twice to ask for it and they said it’s not ready ( I was watching my order the whole time). Awful service.

The noodles are fresh and homemade, very tasty! The only downside is that there were few toppings in the noodles, so little vegetables and meat. Mostly just noodles. The dumplings tasted chemical; I would not recommend these.

The noodles tasted good, and the meat was delicious too. However, using cabbage instead of Shanghai bok choy wasn't ideal, and the instant soy milk powder I used wasn't very good either.

We went there without a reservation and immediately got a seat. The staff was very friendly, though kind of hurried because there were a lot of people. That's totally fine though. The food was very satisfying that we nearly weren't able to finish it all. The price is very reasonable considering the amount of food they give. We would definitely recommend going there!

Staff was very helpful and patient with us as one of our cards wasn't working. Food was delivered quite fast. There are quite a few options on the menu & you can choose you preferred noodle type. It was a little slippery for me at times but the noodles were absolutely delicious, soup very filling. I found the soup base to be quite rich. Definitely worth your money, as the portions are quite huge in my opinion! Will definitely come again sometime.

The food was very tasty. The wontons were well prepared. The vegetables in the soup were also a bit crunchy, adding more texture. Since I had ordered wonton soup, the waiter asked to be sure there were no noodles in the soup. I found this very thoughtful. The portions are also very large, but cheap. Highly recommended.

So good, we went twice. Casual Chinese dining in downtown Amsterdam. It gets really busy, with queues outside from early evening, so go early. Excellent menu choices at reasonable prices, with friendly service.

We were in Amsterdam for the first time, only 3 days, but we visited this place twice. First it was a hearty, incredibly delicious dinner, and then a life-saving breakfast. We walked to this establishment for an hour, many times we almost gave up, but the intention to experience this taste was stronger. I was impressed by the rich taste of real broth and a magical combination of spices. No artificial flavors of cheap seasonings. And the pork burger is just space: a small simple bun with a magical filling of tender meat! I already dream of experiencing this taste again! This is a simple establishment, do not expect pathos here or service that will blow your mind. Everything here is simple, everyday and very tasty. And if it seemed to someone that somehow the service was not wow ... then just think about how many DIFFERENT people are here every day. Workers also have feelings and character. Be simpler and kinder 🧡 P.S. If your iPhone is dead, you can charge it here, but for Android it's better to have a charger with you 👹

The cold potato salad had a really strange flavor. The sauerkraut had a fussy, almost artificial taste. But they gave a generous amount of meat. The wontons were huge!! Very good. You rarely get this kind of food in Europe. Ah, the branch in The Hague is about two euros cheaper than in Amsterdam.

Had to come back here when I came back to Amsterdam because their noodles are really good. The dumplings are good too. We got the beef stew noodle soup, the basic noodle soup, the seafood noodle soup, the peanut/sesame noodle, all of which are quite good. The beef noodle soup with pickled cabbage was a bit too garlicky. The dandan noodle was surprisingly soupy instead of saucy. The service is not the best, but I’m kind of used to it for most Chinese restaurants as they’re not known for good customer service. Do expect a line during meal time since they’re busy. You can skip the wait if you go right when they open or for a late lunch/early dinner.

There are no words to describe how amazing the Szechuan Style Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was, definitely the best I’ve had in Amsterdam and this is the 6th time I’ve been here in 10 years. This place is a hidden gem! The staff are so friendly and kind as well. For all the stoners who are visiting, there is a great Coffeeshop nearby called Dolphins that has a very high quality menu, so I suggest going there for a smoke before walking down to here… you won’t regret it! Fair prices and fantastic food. Phenomenal, 10/10.

Noodles are cooked very well, springy with just a touch of al dente. They also give you plenty of meat in the soup. One star deducted due to the taste of Dan Dan Noodles which tasted bland..almost pasta-ish and not like the authentic ones. If you come on lunch or dinner times, be prepared to wait 20-30 min outside. Service was very fast.

Had the beef noodles with triangular noodles. A deceptively simple looking broth with real depth of flavour, accompanied by a nice whack of garlic. Good texture on the noodles. Very well cooked and tender beef. Top notch
