A very nice place… very clean, enough room for all groups of people, friendly personal, and the food really good, you can order pieces, menus or go for all you can eat. Prices are normal in compare with other likewise places… The soya sauce was really salty, THIS IS NOT A NEGATIVE POINT, maybe is a cuestión of taste. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, a very bad experience. I will certainly not be coming back here. The staff was very unfriendly and customer friendliness seemed to be completely lacking. Apparently, a friendly attitude was already too much to ask. Additionally, as a customer, you are not well informed. I have been to many sushi restaurants and have usually had good experiences with the staff there, but this restaurant was unfortunately a huge disappointment. I would definitely not recommend it.

I ate here today, and unfortunately, it was a truly disappointing experience. During the meal, soup was accidentally spilled all over me. Of course, that can happen; accidents happen. But what I found particularly bad was that no one came to help afterward or even clean up the table and the mess. In the end, I had to indicate myself that it needed to be cleaned up. But it got even worse when paying the bill. Suddenly, I was told that we had ordered two drinks and that this is apparently a rule in the all-you-can-eat concept. I had received absolutely no information about this beforehand. When I indicated that I therefore did not want to simply bring or pay for an extra drink, the response I received was: “Yes, but that is usually the case at all all-you-can-eat restaurants.” I do not think that is a good way to treat customers. If something is a mandatory rule, you should clearly state it beforehand, and not only bring it up when paying the bill. You cannot expect customers to know rules that have not been clearly communicated anywhere. Accidents can happen, but the way we were treated afterwards, and especially the communication during checkout, really ruined this experience for me. I would absolutely not recommend it, and I will not be coming back here.

We had a delicious meal here! What struck me most was how fresh all the ingredients were — you can really taste that everything was prepared fresh that very day. The selection is huge: both Japanese and Chinese dishes, so there is something for everyone. The stir-fried sea bass is an absolute must-try — really super tasty, seasoned just right, and deliciously crispy on the outside. The space itself is also top-notch: nice and big and open, and the chairs are very comfortable, so you can enjoy your meal in peace without feeling rushed.

Offering vegetarian meals is perfect for gatherings. The service was excellent for our group of six adults and children. We would definitely come back if there are children in the family.

Really good food and service. The only thing is that the all you can eat isn't really an all you can eat. It's somewhat limited as you can only order up to four 'bites' every 6 minutes, and you have your table for 2 hours. However, it was more than sufficient enough for me, so I suppose it will be for most people as well. I also like that they charge for each uneaten bites to prevent waste.

Had an amazing dinner here tonight! The maki was incredibly fresh and flavorful—we tried the tuna avocado, and the salmon mango and both were perfect. The teriyaki chicken was just as good, so tender and coated in that delicious sticky sauce. Also the taiyaki 🐟was super tasty.Beyond the food, the special dish was pretty~~ Five stars!!!

The atmosphere was good and the food was delicious. You can choose all you can eat or a la carte, I recommend all you can eat. I highly recommend this restaurant if you visit Groningen.

I’m always coming back to this one! I find their salmon really fresh and I was quite impressed because the Eel / unagi is really good. When it came to the hot dishes I particularly liked the crispy duck and the Takoyaki. Also really good mango ice cream?! Yasumi Sushi & Grill - Groningen A few years ago, it was a top-notch all-you-can-eat place. Unfortunately, a large number of aspects have deteriorated. First of all, the layout has become very poor, leaving guests with little privacy. The number of options available to order every 10 minutes has decreased significantly compared to how it used to be, while the price has increased (quite a lot, in fact). The food itself has not improved and does not taste very good. More than half of the staff speak English (something to keep in mind). Additionally, customer friendliness has dropped enormously; it is now a matter of bringing in as many customers as possible rather than making the customer feel at ease. Some react almost antisocially to a normal question. The most bizarre thing is the hygiene, about which I cannot say much... All in all, there are plenty of other dining establishments in Groningen that still want to give the customer an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, you have lost me as a customer and are damaging your image through these deteriorating developments.

The À la carte menu is pricey, but the all-you-can-eat option is well worth it. Everything was very fresh and delicious.

After having eaten here for years, I notice that the quality has deteriorated significantly and the hygiene is substandard. Both I and the person who accompanied me became quite ill from this (food poisoning). While eating the salmon, I suddenly felt something hard in my mouth; it turned out to be a piece of an iron cleaning sponge. This is unacceptable, jeopardizes guest safety, and shows that they are not paying proper attention. As compensation, we received two free drinks, but that absolutely does not compensate for this experience and how the situation was handled. I will certainly not be returning here.

We had a delicious all-you-can-eat meal. Everything was tasty. Sometimes it did take a while, though. So order the next one on time.

Great restaurant! I’ve been there more than 10 times now. The food is amazing and flavorful (unfortunately, the portions are small), but don't let that spoil the fun. The service is fine, though unfortunately almost 75% of the staff doesn't speak Dutch. So I need to try out my English again. For dessert, you have to ask the staff separately. You can't order this on your phone, but you can order everything else. The atmosphere is fine too. Just a bit cramped. You could almost call the aisles a one-way path. This restaurant is very toilet-accessible! I am very satisfied with the restaurant and will keep coming back to eat there. However, there are always downsides.

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly. We had a delicious meal and the staff was friendly. Two downsides: I find it very annoying that I have to speak a different language in my own country, because most of the servers do not speak Dutch. Another major downside was the price for children under 4 years old. We were with a group of thirteen people, including one 2-year-old child. We had chosen unlimited food (€41.50) and unlimited drinks (€15.00). The unlimited food was free for the child, but the all-you-can-drink package had to be paid for in full. What surprised me is that they reason that a 2-year-old child won't eat that much and therefore doesn't have to pay. However, it is striking that the same 2-year-old is required to pay the full amount for the all-you-can-drink package, even though such a child can't even drink two juices. Otherwise, it was a fine evening and the food was tasty.

This review has been updated a few years later; they've really grasped the concept of shrinkflation here. Where did the fish go? Sushi is drenched in mayo and sprinkles, but the quality leaves much to be desired. It was much better years ago!

Anti-vegan business. Beware. There was no indication that the basic wok contained eggs. Super disappointing for vegans whose sole desire, for ethical reasons, is not to support animal suffering in the industry. It's really not that hard. That in 2026, in a progressive city like Amsterdam, is truly shameful.
