Zaika Handmade Burgers in Vrijheidswijk

Ordered 2 burgers; the preferences and additions really got all mixed up. Also, the burgers were very hard-boiled and consequently no longer juicy. Delivery was fast, though, and the chicken wings were tasty, but actually cooked a bit too long. So basically, too little attention during preparation. But I am well over 40 euros poorer.

After I placed my order, I was told two hours later that my order had been cancelled, without explanation or anything like that. I didn't order anything unusual, it was just cancelled.

Big disappointment. The burger was incredibly tasteless. It is advertised as a “handmade burger”, but there was no sign of that. It felt more like a standard frozen burger than a fresh, handmade burger. Additionally, the burger felt very heavy on the stomach afterwards.

Tasteless burger… how could this on God’s green earth be advertised as a hand made burger…let’s not even mention the mad prices…. Shame!!

I ordered food here today via your website. I checked the option to pay by cash. The order arrived after 1.15 hours; it was on its way for 30 minutes (even though I live 800m away). The delivery person arrived at the wrong address a few times. As a result, the food arrived cold (the fries were also soggy) in the broken bag. I also couldn't pay in cash, so I had to use Tikkie. I have ordered food here before and had a better experience back then.

I order about 1 and a half hours ago and still don't get my order ,in app is sad it's "nearly there" for about 40 min,i try to call and all I can get is "you have to wait" after they told me is on the wey 30 min ago....first time and last time I will order from here...

I've never had such a delicious burger! Deliciously seasoned and tender meat. My husband's fries were fine, but I didn't particularly like the regular fries I had with them; they were too pale and greasy.

The fries were lukewarm, limp, and utterly tasteless. The tiny container of sauce that comes with them is beyond words. The hot wings were cold. The burger was okay, but it's a shame you can't choose regular bacon instead of veal bacon. It was more like a tasteless slice of ham. Delivery took about 45 minutes, which was fine.

They've delivered me a cold burger and cold chicken

I've rarely had such a bad delivery experience. The delivery took 80 minutes (15-40 minutes, as stated), and when the delivery driver finally arrived, he didn't even have the decency to hang up his phone. The owner on the phone was polite. Once delivered, the burger was lukewarm, but the taste was okay. Loaded Fries Pulled Beef for €11.00 were limp fries with a small amount of meat and chemically flavored cheese sauce. The meat was good, but unfortunately, the fries ruined it.

I placed an order requesting warm fries. Unfortunately, they arrived completely chilled. I called about this and reported that this happens often (and reported it back then as well). I received some apologies and a discount, but that's not the point. It's better to just order burgers; they're tasty and hot.

The fries are extremely soggy, the chicken burger is equally soggy, except the bun that was almost burnt, and my 'chili cheese nuggets' are ALSO very soggy. i personally wouldnt order here again

I ordered yesterday at 6:52 PM. The food arrived at 8:23 PM. Cold!! They said they'd send a new one right away. The new order didn't arrive until 9:24 PM. We waited 2.5 hours. The food was fine otherwise, but I've had stomach cramps and a feeling of being sick all day because of the hot wings. I won't order from here again. I did get a free bottle of coke, which the three of us had to share. Absolutely fantastic.

Waited a long time because it was busy, but it was worth it

I was very surprised when I ordered a hamburger; the owner makes it fresh himself, and you could definitely taste it. I chose a nice spicy flavor. The fries (a really large portion!) had a lovely crispy layer, which I'll definitely order again. I thought the mayo packets were a bit small. When it quieted down a bit, he explained a bit about how they work there. They've invested in special warming bags so the orders stay warm and fresh, not soggy, upon delivery. The place has a very nice, homely decor and is inviting. There might be a bit of a disturbance because of the delivery drivers constantly walking by, but if that doesn't bother you, it's a great place.

We ordered here on January 1st, which wasn't convenient. We had to wait three hours for our order. After over an hour and a half, we called Zaika Burgers, but were simply hung up on. After two hours, I called again, and finally got someone to answer. The gentleman told me it was very busy and it would take at least another 30 minutes. Those 30 minutes turned into 60, so after three hours, it finally arrived. The food was tasty but not very warm. The gentleman immediately apologized during delivery, but a three-hour wait is still a long time. We'd like to give it another try, but on a "normal" day.

Ordered food at 5:45 PM and didn't receive it until 8:50 PM. We waited over three hours. The line was busy the entire time, so they were unreachable. When the food finally arrived, they'd forgotten the sauce on the fries, the cheese on the burger, and the fries were soggy. Overall, a mediocre experience. Such a shame. The delivery driver was nice, though.

The delivery took four times longer than indicated, and our son was asleep by then. All the fried side dishes were limp and tasteless, but the burger was fine. It was disappointing for the second time, so this was the last time.

I ordered double zaika and twelve mozzarella sticks, but instead of 12, I received 6. I wanted to contact them to report the problem, but their phone number is unavailable.

From the outside, the place doesn't look very inviting, but we gave it a try based on the good reviews. And what can I say: the burgers and fries were soooo delicious. The food is 5/5 stars.

I wanted to give it a try, given all the mixed experiences others have had. I ate there, and the service was friendly. The food was fine; the fries were crispy and the burger was cooked perfectly. Nothing special, but that's not what you go to a place like Zaika for. So, the food is excellent. The atmosphere in the place is a bit lacking; the furniture could use some updating. The music is very loud, but hey, this place focuses on delivery, so not many people will be eating here. Overall, a great place to grab a burger.

I ordered for home delivery but the food is amazing especially the onion rings and chicken wings... absolutely love them.

I had an issue with my previous order and shared an honest review. The owner offered a “solution” only after asking me to remove my comment, instead of genuinely fixing the problem. Customer service should never depend on deleting feedback, but on improving quality.

I buy here for a long time and i dont like it that they have been changing the size in kinder menu, they are now much smaller burgers and the fries are smaller in portion. I hope they fix this otherwise we need to find a better restaurant because for what we pay we expect the normal size as before.

We ordered from the restaurant, after some time we sent requests for updates with no reply and it took 1,5 hours to get our food. The delivery guy showed up with cold food and we were sad to experience such a service. :(

In Friesland there is nothing better than Zaika.

I have always had a good experience with Zaika. Always tasty food and fast service. But I recently came by to eat in and saw the kitchen staff making me a burger without gloves, he grabbed the salad with his bare fingers, it gave me a bad feeling. I think it's a shame that they do this because it is absolutely unhygienic,

It's nice that people get their food on time, but that's no reason to drive too fast and break traffic rules. If you think you have to, at least turn on your lights when it is already dark. Your car is your calling card, keep it tidy on the road.

ordered a burger and fries, just waited more than an hour for a dirty burger with dirty old lettuce in between. I've never experienced such a disgusting burger, and then the fries......dirty limp cold fries. I threw it all away as it was inedible, once but never again.

Sorry, but damn I had a beef burger with egg, bacon mozzarella and zaika sauce It was unbelievable!!! Burger very badly seasoned, the food just smelled, I could already smell it when the delivery person was still at the door with the food and the sandwich was very soggy because of all the sauce, too much onion, no, you really don't retain customers like that Ordered 2 burgers and 2 drinks, one drink was cold and the other was warm I will never order from here again Over the years you have deteriorated considerably!!!:( This is not worth your money!

Years ago I ordered here regularly. After a few disappointing orders because the quality was not good, we haven't ordered anything from here for a long time. Yesterday I gave it another chance and again disappointing. The burgers just didn't taste good (tasted very sour because of the pickles) and the fries were lukewarm/cold. Almost €17 for a simple hamburger and lukewarm to cold fries. Zaika had really tasty burgers in their early years, but nowadays they are really not tasty anymore.

We have had a really delicious meal here several times (1.5 years ago now). Always delivered, always delicious and quality food. If this were possible and we had not lived in Deventer, we would have bought the entire stock of Zaika sauce. Godsiemijnen, how delicious Yes, 0 stars for the atmosphere as we have never eaten in the restaurant itself

Music was too loud. The price of the food is way too expensive. The burger was over seasoned. With a bad aftertaste. Cutlery has to get yourself. The zaika used to be better, now you only have a burger without fries. For the same price as a menu in the past.

Today I ate a burger from Zaika for the first time in 2 years. It was always a fantastic burger joint, but I've never had such dry meat with a weird aftertaste. Really just like a doormat.

Ordered food from Zaika Handmade Burgers, the crispy chicken burger was not necessarily crispy, but mainly dry and very tough. I also had the curly fries and they were okay, but everything was out of the container, because it had probably opened on the way and I found that a bit unhygienic. Food was delivered pretty quickly, but I also ordered early in the evening. I hope you see this and take this feedback well, because the quality could be better.

Unfortunately, the chicken burger and fries tasted terribly tough and lukewarm. This meal was definitely not freshly prepared!

Don't start well anymore. Those burgers have been heated up and with that cooking oil from Albert Heijn. Made my own burger. You would be better off eating at McDonalds or Burger King there. You guys have gotten so bad. We will never order there again. Even the ice cream is no longer good for her!

I have been ordering from Zaika for years, and due to their high quality of food, I overlook errors during delivery. Unfortunately, they have now decided not to deliver to Stiens anymore. The indifferent staff on the phone doesn't make it any less of a shame. We will never order here again👎.

Ordered approximately €50 worth of food. We received dry burgers with no taste, undercooked snacks and weak fries. After reporting this, we received weak fries again. It's unheard of for a restaurant to deliver such an order when you order for around €50.

Ruime keuze uit heerlijke voedzame burgers. De friet is niet geweldig, eerder wat slap, maar zijn eigenlijk overbodig.

Die Burger und die Pommes waren gut. Beides handmade und nichts vorgefertigt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind im industriell Design gehalten. Burger essen kann man dort gut, gemütlich ist es aber nicht wirklich.

Eten was lauw ik weet dat het fastfood is maar man man man wat een slechte kwaliteit.. twee sterren omdat de mensen wel vriendelijk waren.

Na een dagje Aqua ZOO zijn we hier uitgekomen om wat te eten. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en de burgers waren snel klaar. Leuk dat de burgers niet op een normaal bord maar op een houten plankje geserveerd worden. De sfeer is er prima en er was niets aan te merken op de burgers.

Hele goede service. Ik had 24 hotwings besteld kreeg er 12. Gebeld met Zaika en ze hebben het gelijk opgelost. Binnen een kwartier kreeg ik de rest van de bestelling. Heel netjes! Beste hotwings in de stad

Heerlijke broodjes hamburger en veel verschillende soorten om te kiezen. Krulfriet is ook lekker! Meeste sidedishes zijn ook lekker. Soms al genoeg aan alleen het broodje hamburger! Zo goed belegd.

Ze hadden een fout gemaakt in de bestelling. Ik heb gebeld en ze losten het meteen op en brachten de krulfriet samen met gratis drankjes binnen 15 minuten. Topp!

Ze maken nu ook marrokaanse thee met mint en honing! THEY NOW MAKE MOROCCAN MINT TEA. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ik kom uit Gelderland en ik heb nog nooit zo lekker burger(Italian) gegeten. Waard voor je geld! Alles was vers. Mijn nichtje zelfs vond het lekkerder dan MacDonalds. Mijn vaste plek voortaan in Leeuwarden!!
