Hidden gem tucked away in one of the many gorgeous corners of Wassenaar. I passed by and stopped for an oatmilk decaf and some cakes and drinks with my kids. The food is tasty,well presented and decent price too!Beautiful cafe and whilst we chose to sit outdoors and people watch!! the inside looks fab too. Quirky, earthy and super stylish something that Dutch culture encapsulates with minimum effort. Lovely staff here too, smiling,friendly,welcoming and loving what they do. It would be nice to bottle that energy and enthusiasm and bring it home!The buildings next door are being renovated so the whole area will look superb when complete. The cafe is right next to the charity shop if you fancy a browse and directly across from a lovely icecream place too.

Exclusive dining venue in the centre of Wassenaar

We don't actually know Wassenaar that well at all, even though we live quite close by. After visiting a museum while looking for a lunch spot, I ended up here and was very pleasantly surprised. We just didn't find it that warm inside and the ordering process could have been a little smoother. But if we are ever in the area again we will probably stop by.

Full disclosure: we came in here for an emergency trip to the toilet and then felt obliged to have something in the cafe. Boy, was that a good decision! It was absolutely outstanding. We had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and avocado on toast. Beautifully presented and really delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Surprisingly good. Delicious red wine drunk in combination with the camembert from the oven. Quite unique that so much attention is paid to such a small dish. Highly recommended! (Tip: add the red wine!)

Nice place, but when will we stop charging a surcharge for oat milk compared to cow's milk? The price difference is not large, certainly not compared to organic cow's milk. Too bad for vegans.

What a nice place. The food is delicious, the wines are perfect and the staff is really friendly. I have an auditory disability and often have a lot of trouble when there is loud music on in a restaurant. The staff at Zebedeus Just Café immediately offered to turn the music down, which I am extremely grateful for.

Dit café is echt een aanwinst voor Wassenaar met lekkere verse gerechten en heerlijk koffie. Binnen is het altijd licht en gezellig, prachtige moderne inrichting zonder overdreven hip te zijn. In de zomer kun je kiezen uit twee gezellige terrassen. Het menu biedt ook keus aan vegetariërs en veganisten.

Klein maar fijn in een rijke omgeving. Goed voor alle zintuigen! Zeer vriendelijke mensen, prima met zorg bereide gerechten. Een topadres zonder kapsones. Wel even reserveren.

Nice service & excellent lunch this time

A charming little café tucked away in a small square in the town centre of Wassenaar. We had the avocado toast and it was delicious, one of the best we had. The coffee is quite good too, served in nice porelain cups with oat and almond milk available. We visited with our dog, and before we could even ask, the attentive staff already brought a bowl of water. Our table was situated outside, nicely sheltered from the wind but in the sun (also tables in the shade). All in all a nice experience. An added bonus was the fact that the staff were not pushy at all, but at the same time very attentive. We paid 33 euros for: 2 large oatmilk lattés 2 avocado toast 1 sparkling water 1 cold pressed vegetable juice

Very nice coffee shop with delicious lunch and cake. Good quality, but that is also reflected in the prices. The takeaway menu they sell during the Corona year is just as tasty, but for a very realistic price. The three-course menu for thirty euros is highly recommended! We have ordered it a few times now and every time it has been incredibly tasty and well presented! High quality, original dishes and very easy to prepare at home.

Delicious dishes in very beautiful surroundings. Excellent service.

Reasonable cappuccino, but the bill was €6.50, strange on the bill 1x cappuccino and 1x wild sage tea, I had never heard of this tea, I will never come to this shop again No, we only drank coffee and we never drink tea outside, but never mind the 50 cents, as a former hotel manager (73) I know that the catering profession is difficult! Monique and I sat at the long table on the right and we did not speak to the staff, otherwise I would have seen the bill!

We saw beautiful furniture and had a very tasty meal.
