Good food. Enough for everyone, young and old Good service Cozy atmosphere, customer-friendly. We will definitely come back again. We normally eat in the restaurant. This time we got takeout and ate at home. Highly recommended again

Great restaurant! Everything is perfect!

We had a delicious meal. We were able to get a seat without a reservation.

Had another delicious meal! Everything is well taken care of and there is a huge selection. They know how to make all dishes of top quality. Highly recommended! Do make sure to reserve on time.

Simply the world’s best resturant! Returning every year, all the way from Denmark!

Very tasty food, smooth and friendly service.

The food was excellent, but very expensive.

This greek family restaurant is the best i have ever been too. There food is so good, that for the first time ever i asked to take the leftover home.

Friendly staff and delicious food

Very good Greek restaurant, not cheap but worth the money. Very friendly waiters and owner. Highly recommended if you like Greek food and have your stay around Wassenaar.

Beautiful, cozy restaurant. Excellent food, large portions. Very friendly staff.

We had a delicious meal, the staff was super friendly! Definitely recommended.

Great restaurant, good atmosphere and fantastic service! ꈍ◡ꈍ Definitely recommended ✌︎˶╹ꇴ╹˶✌︎

Best Greek restaurant in the Netherlands. We travel all the way from the center of the country to Wassenaar especially for this. Christos has really got it all together. Delicious food, atmospheric restaurant, super friendly staff, truly a top-notch restaurant!

Had a delicious meal, friendly staff. Went again, it was fun again and the food was delicious. Nice staff.

Very tasty, sometimes they do forget to bring your drink, but then it comes if you ask.

Absolutely delicious 👍🏼 the tzatziki is simply amazing 💣💣 Excellent value for money, 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was delicious, everything tasted fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely and everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Highly recommended! 😊

Very tasty food , amazing personnel ! We are coming back for sure , first time but 100% not the last time !

The worst Greek restaurant ever. For Saganaki they brought a frozen deep fried cheese that you can buy in the store. The middle was still frozen. Moussaka and gyros were inedible too. They were for sure microwaved, as they came very steamy with one part hot and one part cold. We never got the bread promised. And for all that, 80 euros…not worth the stomach ache. Owners should be ashamed of themselves for calling this an authentic Greek restaurant.

They call it Saganaki (14€), what came was a mirelit grilled cheese that was cold in the middle. We were promised pita bread that never showed up. The Gyros was also half cold, at least the potatoes were decent. Moussaka was very disappointing, even disgusting. The welcome drinks were a nice touch but that's as far as the good service goes. Asking 80€s for the quality offered is basically stealing.

Fantastic food and friendly service every time. We've been coming here happily for years.

Delicious food. Truly very tasty. Extremely friendly service. Top notch!

Just a quick evening bite... Received very warmly, ordered 3 small dishes and they were very good and flavorful, served with tasty bread too. Highly recommended.

We were greeted very kindly at the door. Extensive menu, with delicious dishes. Our choice was brought to the table very quickly, exactly as promised. The food was delicious. Staff regularly came to ask if everything was to our liking. Afterwards, we also received a drink on the house. In short: highly recommended.

We were absolutely thrilled! Despite the restaurant being full, we spontaneously got a table for 11 people and received very friendly service. The food was excellent and overall it was a fantastic experience.

Delicious, generous portions of authentic Greek food with lovely hosts. Highly recommended!

A cozy restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back!

We are not from Wassenaar and love Greek food. This is by far the best Greek restaurant we have ever eaten at. The service is top-notch and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. The menu is very extensive and contains many dishes that I do not come across at other Greek restaurants. We also have very tasty Greek restaurants in the Westland, but Eleni is definitely our favorite!

Tasty, and not just a little, it was very tasty. The owner personally walks around the room, greeting and saying goodbye to guests. It's wonderful, a homey atmosphere from the moment you walk in. 🫶👍🫶👌

We had a delicious meal and received a super friendly welcome. The food was great and the wine was delicious. We will definitely be back, and we have certainly told the owner that as well.

Vera served us exceptionally well! And the owner had a surprise too; my father turned 81. Truly a top-notch restaurant!

Good, cozy, hospitable and truly Greek

Incredibly good dining experience! I never normally hand out reviews, but this place deserves it. The Greek dishes served here are truly delicious, especially the main courses. We went for Louka's platter consisting of 4 Greek specialties for two people: large portions, perfectly cooked meat, and an explosion of herbal flavors. The cozy atmosphere and the warm, family welcome are the icing on the cake!

Delicious food, very friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere.

Delicious Greek flavor! and super tender meat! just for me it was a bit on the salty side...

The food is amazing, the environment is amazing, the staff is amazing, and the owner is nothing but amazing.

Good food, truly delicious Greek, and friendly staff!!

Warm welcome, cozy with real attention for the guests. Be careful when ordering; after the starter you are already quite full...

I’m not sure it’s legal to have this much fun on a Wednesday night. Others thought so too as super-busy but more than enough room for everyone. Kids menu was substantial and tasty. Shared starter more than enough and delicious and the “Chef’s Special” was incredible. Free shots of ouzo to start and free cocktails to close the night off were unnecessary but very welcome. Great team; great food and great vibe. Enjoy! You’re welcome!

We had another delicious meal and ate fish for the first time. It was delicious once again. My wife had a quote card recipe (Pastitio).

Had a delicious meal, friendly and fast service.

Weekend away, coming from Enschede, the food was really fantastically delicious! And the hospitality was very pleasant. Highly recommended!!

Last week we had a lovely meal at Eleni with my friend, her husband, and my daughter. We arrived early, at 6 o'clock, and it was already busy, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Later on, it got very busy, and then the staff didn't have time for you anymore. They only wanted one thing: that you pay as soon as possible and make room for the next guests. My daughter had barely finished her dessert before her plate was already gone and they asked if we wanted to pay yet. People were standing inside the restaurant and outside waiting for a table. So, for me, no more Eleni for the time being, and that is SUCH a shame.

What a top restaurant, a Greek as a Greek should be: delicious authentic dishes, hospitable and a super owner who makes the difference

Even coming early, a reservation is a must! The excellent service is what I noticed first and once the food came, that became the star of the show! I had the Elini Meat Platter, their speciality. My wife had their sea bass. The portion size is impressive and was artistically presented. Prices are a bit high , but totally worth it! Thank you Kristoff and Elizabeth for a wonderful evening!

An example for other Greek restaurants!! Top!

There's only one word for Eleni, and that's DELICIOUS! Enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly team! Thank you!

Highly recommended! If you're looking for something different from the usual Greek food (souflaki, gyros, etc.). Delicious stews and pan-fried dishes.

Fantastic Greek restaurant. The food is delicious and the hospitality is top-notch! They have a large menu with many delicious dishes. Everything is fresh and homemade. Highly recommended! Make sure to make a reservation for the weekend!

Delicious food! Friendly staff. The restaurant was packed, so reservations are recommended. Despite being full, the service was excellent and the guests were very attentive. We found the restaurant through TripAdvisor, coming from Enschede during a day trip to Wassenaar.

Everything was delicious! The appetizers and main courses were truly delicious and substantial! The wait wasn't long either, especially since it was very busy! I highly recommend it and will definitely see you again!

We had another delicious Greek meal tonight. The owner is fantastic, the service was impeccable. From the moment you walk in until you leave, everyone is so friendly. We think it's the best Greek food in Wassenaar and the surrounding area! I've been coming here since I was a child and love to come back often. Thanks, and hopefully, we'll see you again soon!

In one word: great food and friendly people

Yesterday I was looking for a place to have a cup of coffee. I popped into Eleni's. They made me a delicious cappuccino. Friendly and welcoming staff! Highly recommended. 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The meat was so tender and delicious. The service was very friendly, despite the crowds at Elini. Vera was a fantastic girl, and the rest of the staff served us well all evening. Great team, keep up the good work! The owner, who helped us so well, is also a great guy, so helpful. This Elini restaurant definitely deserves a 10 out of 10, highly recommended. We came from Limburg for a day trip to Wassenaar and were happy to have found this restaurant. We will definitely return if we're ever in the area. Busy but very cozy, and nothing is too much trouble. Greetings from the Limburgers. Frans & Chantalle and Huub & Marlies 🥰👍

Great service and great experience. Thanx great Greeks

Yes, this was really delicious. You see the 1002 reviews and you think 🤔 it must be good. So we went ahead and gave it a try. It wasn't great, it was actually very good. We had a sandwich with some spreads beforehand, but unfortunately, I took a photo too late, so that's what the spreads looked like afterward. Then we continued. The napkins are also very nice, and the service is friendly. We ordered the gyro platter—MEGA HOLY SHIT. Lots of it and absolutely delicious. We always eat our gyros with that bread; it wasn't included with the platter, but you can just order it extra. A photo of the half-eaten gyro platter is also included; I just couldn't stop looking at how delicious it was. Other people in these reviews probably have full photos. I don't. The potatoes with the platter were also delicious. Dessert: Baklava. Very tasty, a scoop of ice cream on the side. Tip: put that on the baklava, it'll be even better. A sandwich starter, baklava, 5 drinks, 2 gyro platters with salad, potato rolls, and tzatziki. €81.50 Great price 😋😋😋

The whole family loved it including small kids. Delicious, old family recipes. We didn’t have to wait long at all on a Saturday night. Good value for money. We felt well taken care of by the whole staff. ⭐️

Busy but cozy. The food was very good and the service was excellent. All in all, highly recommended.

Delicious food, both the main course and dessert were delicious! Next time, I'll try an appetizer too... Extensive menu, very friendly service. Top-notch!

I don't understand how this place gets such reviews. I'm used to rarely having to consume such stale frying fat in the restaurant industry. Oil, oil, and more oil, and more oil.

Incredibly delicious food. Perhaps a bit more expensive than your average Greek restaurant, but the quality is definitely worth it. Service is fast and flexible. There's plenty of space to sit comfortably. The only downside is the incredibly loud commotion from all the guests. Always a problem in Dutch restaurants anyway, because Dutch people start talking at full volume. But perhaps they could figure out something to tone it down a bit.

Eleni Wassenaar is one of the best Greek restaurants in Wassenaar. The dishes are fresh, authentic, and full of Mediterranean flavor, with standout options like moussaka, souvlaki, and fresh seafood. The staff is friendly, professional, and makes every visit enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Greek cuisine near The Hague or the best Mediterranean food in Wassenaar, Eleni is a must-visit. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a special occasion, offering high-quality food in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. #EleniWassenaar #GreekFood #WassenaarRestaurants #MediterraneanCuisine #AuthenticGreekFood #BestRestaurantsWassenaar

We ate here before going to Soldaat van Oranje. Delicious food and very friendly staff/owner 👍🏼

We once again enjoyed the delicious food, warm welcome, and friendly service! Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Very hospitable and delicious food. Our first time at Greek, and we're hungry for more.

Delicious food and lovely, friendly service. The food is very tasty. Highly recommended.

Fantastic...my number one Greek restaurant. Wide selection, large portions, excellent service, and a friendly host. We'll definitely go back.

Always good, Can’t say anything else than this!

Cozy and good food! Highly recommended.

We dined here with a group of 11 people. I'd called ahead and let them know we needed to arrive early because of an activity. The food was delicious, served promptly, and the service was very friendly. Epharisto!

Delicious food, friendly staff, served quickly. Recommended.

Super friendly service and delicious food. Highly recommended.

excellent food, great service, and warm interior. The moussaka was especially nice, and they give you a refreshing welcome drink

As always, friendly and hospitable. It took a very long time for our food to arrive.

Delicious food, very friendly service. We will come back soon.

Very hospitable, child-friendly! The dishes were delicious and plentiful! Highly recommended!

Delicious food, very friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

As we crossed the street, someone came to the door to open it for us. You're truly welcome! A particularly relaxed atmosphere, with spacious and comfortable seating. Friendly staff who paid their guests their utmost attention. We had a delicious meal. This is highly recommended; kudos to the people at Eleni for making this possible!

Very friendly staff, very accommodating, good food selection, good portion size, highly recommended

As always, this Wednesday evening was fantastic. My son had booked by mobile phone and we were warmly welcomed by Athina and Christos.

Super friendly staff! And very tasty food.

Enjoyable and authentic Greek food. Worth the extra walk to get there.

Very good food. Despite being very busy, we spontaneously got a table for five. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. An English-language menu was available. The kids loved it too.

Bad first impression. I came here specifically because of the many good reviews, unfortunately. Sloppy staff, nail-biting waitress, bartender who was busy cleaning his ring with his nails—all very unsanitary. And the plexiglass above the benches didn't really complete the atmosphere. But the food was good.

No frills; delicious food, reasonably priced with attentive service!

Very tasty food, friendly staff and a cozy setting, truly Greek as it should be, including Ouzo beforehand!

A beautiful restaurant. If you don't leave feeling full, you're doing something wrong! 🤗

A top restaurant, first time here, but definitely worth it. It's pricey, but worth it.

For the ones who love greek food this is the place to go ❤️

Great atmosphere, beautiful decor and layout in the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. And then there's the food... for a truly Greek experience, this is the place to be! Value for money: 10/10.

We had a wonderful meal at this excellent restaurant. Very well-prepared and exceptionally flavorful. And the quality lives up to the already excellent reviews. Deliciously tender meat. A warm welcome with friendly, personal service. Not cheap, but you really get your money's worth here.

This is really good and hospitable Greek food

The food, although expensive, was truly delicious. Most notably, they also offered something different, like feta cheese for vegetarians. I had the vegetarian mixed platter, which was very good.

Top restaurant food and atmosphere and service

Greek restaurant Eleni is an absolute must! Delicious authentic food, a warm and cozy atmosphere and a service that really pampers you. Everything is right here - five stars on all fronts! 🇬🇷✨

Good food, great service. Highly reccomended
