Had dinner today! Relaxed atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff! They're happy to chat with you, and very friendly to the children too! The food was also very tasty (although a bit too much, :)). Absolutely recommended!

To celebrate my daughter's birthday, we had brunch at De Baron. We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own seating. The service was good, with a sense of humor. Dessert was served with balloons, "Happy Birthday," and a fire-breather. We hadn't asked for it, but it was a nice gesture from the staff. A pleasant brunch, highly recommended.

A pleasant entrance. Tables are a bit close together; they could use a bit more space between them. Fortunately, we were able to switch to a spacious round table. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was pleasant. The food was good. The price-quality ratio was excellent. Definitely a restaurant I'll definitely visit again.

What a beautiful restaurant and what lovely owners! When you arrive with your racing bike group, the owner is already calling out: "Shall I fill your bottles?" Delicious coffee and pastries, and he even brings a bowl of apple slices. Really cozy!

This special attention shows how much heart and soul they put into their work and how individually they cater to their guests. What a great place! If you are here and you order something with fries… definitely try their apple sauce. It is so incredibly delicious! There are no words for it! The staff and the owner are very warm people. First time having lunch here, and I will definitely come back!

Six of us spontaneously came here. We sat outside in the outdoor area; the glass windows protected us from the wind. The waiters were very attentive and anticipated our every need. Our special requests were catered to. We had an appetizer, main course, and dessert. It was delicious. The dishes were delicately presented and had a kick. We had as much fries, applesauce, and coleslaw as we wanted. For dessert, we were spontaneously served a delicious eggnog with whipped cream. Absolutely fantastic! We'll be back!

Nice restaurant, friendly staff, appropriate price. Actually everything was fine. The only downside was datacenter chateaubriand was served on a cold metal cake stand, which made the meat cold very quickly. From now on, preferably on a warm dish. But we will gladly come back here again

We had a business friendship gathering in the private dining space of De Baron with a diverse group of people. We truly enjoyed the fantastic hospitality of the team of De Baron and their customised services, including vegetarian meals and excellent choices of drinks. Proper planning and customising our wishes made this a very successful event for a fair price. Certainly recommend everyone to experience this welcoming restaurant in Wassenaar.

Sublime location, delicious food and top service! Absolute recommendation.

After we had made a reservation a while ago and arrived, a gentleman (owner?) told us that we were not on the list and that they had a special dinner. He also indicated that we were not really welcome, we got that feeling very much. Just got a confirmation so after I showed that we were allowed to sit down but we did not feel welcome at all by him. It was also the beginning of our honeymoon so not a nice start. Fortunately there was a very sweet lady in the service who confirmed that we were on the list and who tried to make our evening a lot better. The food is delicious, so that was certainly not the problem. But my husband and I were not really able to relax at the table. After dinner we normally have a drink but we left immediately. Compliments to that sweet lady, you do your job great. Unfortunately also employees who do not appreciate normal guests.

After a booking at a big name restaurant in Voorschoten didn't go through, I called to see if I could have lunch there with 8 people. And were welcomed with open arms, even a hi-lunch wasn't too much. The food was very tasty and now a new favorite in Wassenaar. The hospitality and service were great.

This is a fantastic restaurant. My family (two adults two kids) were out cycling and stumbled upon this restaurant on the way back to the campsite. While we were underdressed, we were welcomed with open arms. The menu was in Dutch but the waitresses gave us great assistance in picking out the food. The food was unbelievable. I had prawns and chilli with some toast which was a great appetizer and the main was the nicest that I have had in a long time. I had Tuna steak risotto and it was beautiful. The lady with brilliant English brought the kids some nibbles while waiting. And also an extra treat for desert. In all it was a great relaxed atmosphere. Thank you

Had lunch here on Mother's Day. We were received very hospitably by the host, who completely pampered us. My mother has a gluten allergy and therefore unfortunately cannot eat everything. Unfortunately, the gluten-free bread was gone. But the host suggested making her a salad. The salad that was then served was really fantastic! Many people are hospitable. This one was really from his heart.

Had a great afternoon with our little son. After I called and asked if they had child seats, one was immediately ready upon arrival. Service is also really worth a compliment. Fast, attentive and friendly. Menu is also surprisingly good compared to restaurants in the village. Highly recommended!
