Da Italo in Wijk 01 Noordoostelijk deel der gemeente

We had a very tasty and good meal. We were a group of 14. The service was really top-notch. Fast and delicious. Fantastic staff!

Da Italo is a wonderful Italian restaurant in Wassenaar. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and full of flavor. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I would recommend and happily visit again! 🇮🇹❤️

Great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere Really enjoyed my visit to Da Italo. Definitely coming back

Never go to this venue. Dramatic scenery. Food even more dramatic. The worse I had in years. I can’t understand all positive reviews here. Skip this restraurant in anyway for every reason.

Very friendly restaurant with delicious food!

Incredible atmosphere. Genuine Italian restaurant, food and wine was excellent.

Food was lovely, let down by the length of time it took! The team serving us tried their best to be fair.

We spontaneously decided to go to this restaurant. Getting a table for two was no problem. The service was friendly and efficient. The pizza was delicious and the price was perfectly reasonable. If you don't care about fancy decorations and such, this is the place for you. We were German tourists, but we felt very welcome.

Great restaurant. We booked a table and was glad I did. Food was lovely, staff were great. Kids menu limited, but overall 5 empty plates!

What a wonderful experience this was. We had a fantastic meal here, and the atmosphere was great right from the start. Every single dish looked beautifully presented. The bruschetta was a real highlight, especially with those fresh curls of Parmesan cheese in the center of the platter. Everything tasted equally fresh and pure. We will certainly be back here soon for another meal.

Very friendly staff and owner. Simply great! Delicious food.

Delicious food The food was ready quickly and the lady who served us was super nice If you like pasta and pizza, definitely go here

Very good service and very friendly. We received appetizers (including bread with herb butter) that filled the time well between ordering and receiving the ordered dish. Parmesan cheese was even grated at the table. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

We felt very comfortable, food and service 1+*

Had a delicious meal, friendly staff and top-notch service.

Da Italo is an excellent Italian pizzeria. The service is friendly, fast, and particularly attentive. One of the children was celebrating their birthday and, although closing time was actually well past, they pulled out all the stops to make it a festive occasion anyway. That really made an impression. The food is simply good and service is clearly the number one priority here. Highly recommended!

A quality restaurant. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and received amazing service. The food was very delicious, beautiful and tasty dishes. All my guests who came to celebrate enjoyed the food. We ordered pizzas and pastas and they are really good quality. The service was excellent. The chef even came out to honor us and created a festive and pleasant atmosphere for us. Many thanks to the team.

Had a great experience Da Italo Wassenaar! The atmosphere was lovely, the food had an authentic Italian taste, and everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and cooperative. Really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend it!

Excellent value for money. Lovely, outstanding service. We had a wonderful meal and, as a father with four children (from preschool to teenagers), we have rarely been treated with such kindness and friendliness! Thank you, see you soon!

Fantastic authentic Italian food in Wassenaar! The food here is absolutely delicious and tastes like genuine, homemade Italian cooking. On top of that, the staff is wonderfully warm and friendly. You immediately feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Excellent pizza, it doesn't get much better than this! Great service, very attentive and friendly. Children are welcome. Prices for the food are reasonable considering the quality, but the drinks are a bit pricey or, at 0.2L, a small portion. In short: Highly recommended and will definitely visit again!

Cozy little restaurant with a very hospitable atmosphere. The service is quick and the glasses and plates are almost never empty. The bruschetta is superb, partly because it is served with pieces of Parmesan cheese. I also really liked the ravioli: the filling tasted good, and the same went for the accompanying sauce. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance because there aren't very many tables.

Very nice place. The waitress was lovely. Food was copious and tasty. Would recommend!

Friendly service, delicious fresh food, somewhat cramped seating and limited outdoor seating.

Very good food and good service

Best Italian restaurant in the region, have been coming here for years

Delicious pizza with lots of toppings and amazing free bruschetta as a starter. 😋

We were way too early to pick up the pizzas, so we had to wait. They were incredibly hospitable. The three of us each got a bruschetta (delicious). If you live or are staying in the region around The Hague/Wassenaar, go there!!!

The pizza was very tasty, worth repeating!

We had a delicious meal with our family of 4 children and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Very cozy and intimate restaurant. Had dinner there tonight and enjoyed a delicious pizza. Super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

i ordered online for second time and it was fast delivered, also they have the best risotto i ever had, highly recommended 🩷🤌🏻

What pleasantly surprised me was that the four of us got a tapas appetizer. You'd be hesitant to add it to the bill, but it wasn't. And the pizzas and pasta da Italo were also delicious.

Amazing experience. We will come back next year

The service was fantastic, and everything we ate was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers and pizzas to the filetto rustico. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. The wine was also highly recommended. A fellow diner's birthday was celebrated appropriately. We loved it!

The food was delicious. The service was very, very friendly. I would definitely come back.

I order from Da Italo almost every week. And every single time, in one word: AMAZING. I have my go-to order: spaghetti 4 formaggi and a tiramisu that is also delicious. The food is also always hot when it is delivered. Da Italo is my favorite!!!

The food was great. The location is good. The service was excellent. The price/performance ratio was superb.

I like it here when we visit Duinrell

We thoroughly enjoyed the food! Everything was served hot and fresh from the kitchen, ensuring the flavors and quality were truly outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates well-prepared and flavorful food.

Very tasty pizzas. Gluten-free pizza is available for an additional €4. Gluten-free pasta is available for an additional €2.

Lovely place. They looked after us all including 10 kids! Food was really good too.

Delicious food, excellent value for money. Service is superb. Update: remains fantastic.

We only have a few nights at a nearby holiday park and came here twice, the food and staff were amazing and would highly recommend

The pizza was great; the base was nice and thin and crispy; we all really enjoyed it. The owners gave us a free appetizer beforehand, which I thought was really nice. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back; it was definitely worth it.

Great quality of a broad selection of Italian dishes, good service and atmosphere.

Really good food! Been here several times.

It was delicious, and we received quick and friendly service. We went there in the evening for pizza and ate outside.

Great food, great service. They immediately brought a new fork once they saw one falling on the floor. They also kept offering free grappa on the house for our group even after we paid. It has agood good rating for a reason. 😁

Great pizzeria with normal prices. The pizza is very tasty and the service is friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend this place, delicious food, very nice service and atmosphere, the perfect place for a cozy moment, large portions, highly recommended.

Very good. The pizza and pasta were delicious, and the service was attentive and quick. Prices are reasonable, and special pizza requests are no problem.

This is the best Italian restaurant we've ever eaten at! Very friendly, incredibly delicious food at a very reasonable price. The prices could definitely go up, but it's absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Very warm and friendly service. Excellent food.

Super delicious food, great service. Super friendly!!

Very nice place and very nice people.

We had a wonderful meal at Da Italo! The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the tiramisu was divine. Highly recommended!!! I'll definitely be back!

Delicious food and the service is excellent.

Great place with delicious food! We served hot meals for 17 people within an hour!

Nice food, cosy music and very friendly staff

Nice cozy vibe and delicious food!

If you are in the area of Wassenaar then this restaurant is really recommended. The food is particularly tasty but also freshly prepared, in addition the staff is extremely friendly. Despite the fact that it is not a mega big restaurant it still brings a very good atmosphere with it.

We ate here after a day friends weekend. Super tasty food and very good service. Also the staff was very nice! Worth repeating!

Delicious food, great atmosphere, definitely worth going back again

Food was good, friendly service

You can't get much better food and super friendly service.

Absolutely amazing experience! The service was fantastic – the man who served us was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The pizza? One of the best we’ve ever had – perfectly thin crust, deliciously balanced flavors, just wow! We were even treated to a complimentary bruschetta from the kitchen that was absolutely delicious. A lovely surprise! Even though we’re just passing through and it’s about an hour away from where we’re staying, I honestly think we’ll come back just for this pizza. It was that good. And when I asked about sauce for pizza, he just laughed and said, “Don’t worry, I eat pizza with sauce too!” and brought one over with a smile. Highly recommended. Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, and truly warm hospitality. We’ll be back! 🍕❤️

It is amazing the service is amazing and the staff are so kind the food is so good the portions are so good its a vibe i will definitely be back and cant wait to be back I RECOMMEND

Super spot, so family friendly & warm. We loved it 🥰

Excellent food and service to suit a family from aged 9 to adults!! Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful food and service. Made our holiday and want to come back again before we leave

10/10 fab place! service so quick and pleasant!!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Very good food and excellent welcome!

The food was very good, the atmosphere was good and the waiter knew how to create a good atmosphere and danced and served cake at a birthday party. Highly recommended.

We're from Germany and ate here today. The staff spoke very good English and the food was fantastic. Very child-friendly.

Just looking online at the well-known home delivery website, I (a 1-person household) see a minimum order amount of € 30.00 (with free delivery). Then I have to order more than 1 pizza and therefore more than I can eat for 1 meal?

Delicious food and friendly service. Salmon from the grill with lime sauce was delicious and a large portion. And he also liked the pizza I enjoyed at my table. For dessert the tarftufo was tasty but not special. Other dessert was well liked. Presentation was great. Price/quality ratio is perfectly fine. Nice spot!

Delicious food, good quality and what large portions! It was also quite busy, so that means it has a good name. There were 2 downsides... the hostess wore her hair loose and that is unhygienic in the catering industry, in addition, when she took an order it was simply "forgotten", her colleague, on the other hand, was running wild and when we told her that we had already passed on the drinks (10 minutes earlier), it was at the table within a minute... hence 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

I think this is a nice restaurant with good service and good food

Had a delicious meal yesterday! The lasagna is highly recommended! Unfortunately, the pizza base was a bit on the thin side, which made the pizza a bit soft. Service was good. Nice lady and got something tasty while waiting. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

Great food and super friendly staff

Beautiful food and excellent service.

Had to wait outside in the cold and finally a table became available, just come in and then sorry it was reserved for someone else

Delicious pizzas in a cozy place with very friendly service. Thanks!

Small restaurant in Wassenaar with very tasty and, above all, affordable dishes

Very good food, with excellent starters and absolutely delicious pizzas and pastas and very generous portions! Good desserts and appetizers! I recommend this place

Amazing moment. Great food and service. Contrats to all Da Italo team. We will bé back.

Baguette with herb butter was tasteless. The pizza was also not tasty.

Excellent food and waitress. Enjoyable if you are local or europeen.

Hey, I went there's with my family and even organised the birthday ofwmy grandad... AMAZING food. AMAZING staff. Amazing thanks to Da italo for their ambiance food and service quality Even natives from Italy come there They also make Delivery

Had pasta and pizza with 2 friends, excellent quality and nice service Recommended

Damn good food. The service was very courteous and friendly. Every wish was quickly fulfilled! We were very satisfied. The meal was attended by seven people, including three children.

The seating is a bit cramped, but the food is very good and reasonably priced. Reservation recommended, even during the week.

We had a super tasty meal, we were 4 adults and 5 children and we felt very welcome. Really pampered. We had pizzas and desserts. Recommended!

The tastiest Pizzas to date & Tiramisu. Really tasty ;-)

We booked this restaurant on line and were really impressed. The waitresses were tremendous, really friendly and couldn't help enough. The chef looked great when he came to pepper our food. The service was quick and the food excellent. Catered for our 2 year old and additionally gluten free diet with no fuss. Super experience and personally I think the lemon sorbet is very much worth trying. Will definitely visit again.

Very friendly staff and the food was delicious.

Neat restaurant, good food and good service.

Very nice restaurant. The food and service is great. We ate at Da Italo with 3 families (12 people). We had absolutely nothing to complain about. The food tasted very tasty and the service lady was very friendly and professional. We would come back at any time!

The good reviews attracted us to this restaurant, and we didn't regret it: a small, cozy restaurant with a few outside tables, super friendly and helpful service, not to mention the delicious food...we chose fillet steak and prawns, Both highly recommended. We would be happy to come back. Parking spaces at the house and the toilet was at ground level.
