Plenty of vegetarian options such as mock chicken, beef, etc. and catered to eating things ‘plain’ or without certain things with no problem. Very accommodating and friendly!

Yesterday I made a quick pit stop on credit. What amazingly delicious milkshakes and iced coffees they make here. I dare not say whether it was the best iced coffee I have ever had, but it is certainly in the running! The loaded fries with pulled pork were also very tasty.

Cute bar with friendly staff. We had a bottle of rosé wine here this afternoon. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was lovely. You can have a nice chat and watch people pass by. The price and quality were okay. €25 for a cool bottle of dry rosé was reasonable for the location, and the restrooms are very clean!

Unfortunately, I did not find any of the ordered food, specially hotdog, in the American style but more localized, even the coleslaw. Recommended to update the menu in terms of the American cooking style/food.

Great service and the food was almost perfect. Milkshakes really taste the flavor you ask for. The Burgers are really next level. Spareribs have tasted better elsewhere, even if it wasn't bad.

We asked for water with our main courses. 3 adults a d 2 children. They said we had to buy bottle water as they could not give glasses of water. Yet locals came in and gave them glasses of water without charge. Will not be going there again Daylight Robbery.

What a pleasant experience! Everyone was very hospitable. Our children really enjoyed the play corner. Food was tasty but not recommended.

The service is good and in general, they have a nice menu. I ordered the steak and it was tough and very chewy, almost inedible. It was disappointing to spend 28 euros and not enjoy my meal.

Pops is a really nice place! The food was super delicious and you can taste that everything was well prepared. The service was very friendly, although sometimes a bit slow. But the cozy atmosphere made up for it completely. Definitely recommended to go!

Inside and outside seating options on the main shopping street. Nice vibe, lovely staff very helpfull and quick service. Classic burger was very good, large burger also. Kids liked the oreo milkshake, served with a mini donut on top. 2 Cocktails were also very nice came in nice glassware. Calimari starter coating was a bit heavy for my taste but since all 4 of us loved the burgers had to go 5☆

Good variety on the menu. Nachos starters were very good. Main course Fajitas & ribs were really good. Truffle fries as a side were great. Went back again for lunch another day. Really good milkshakes too

Very bad food, bad service, ask for raw hamburgers to be cooked through, get them back the same with a corner cut out, just don't do anything with them. Just hope your daughter doesn't get sick.

5/5, for the past 2 years we have always sat outside for 1-2 drinks while on vacation. This year we also decided to eat there. We regret that we didn't eat there in previous years 😂 we ate there yesterday, we'll go again today! Highly recommended, food is great, service is top :)

Family American style dining. I had a nice burger, tasty but very messy. My husband really enjoyed the pulled pork. Kids meals came in boxes which was a bit unusual but portions were reasonable. Staff were pleasant.

Hands down my favorite place for delicious burgers. I travel to the US frequently and must say that very few places there can match the burgers of Pops. For lovers of burgers and craft beer: look no further. Team is lovely as well.

Ate here this weekend and enjoyed it very much! I had the Tex Mex Burger and my partner the fajita. Both were very tasty. Also served with salad, corn and a generous portion of fries. Everything tasted very good! For dessert a strawberry milkshake, which surprisingly tasted like real strawberries! Nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also cozy and cozy. We were served quickly.

The food was delicious, reasonably priced with generous portions and they were really accommodating for vegan diners. The range of soft drinks is great too - the stroopwaffel milkshake is highly recommended!

Visited as a family , read reviews but was quite disappointed , Childs mini hot dog ( for up to 12 years) was tiny, poor quality and only big enough for up to 5 yr old. Ribs dry. Food over priced for what it is. Service was good and staff friendly, good child’s play area inside .

Been here again after a long time. The staff is still friendly, enthusiastic and hospitable. Super service oriented and they really care about the business and their customers. The food is very tasty and you get generous portions. We drive an hour to eat here, that says something ;) In terms of atmosphere, they can still gain from the appearance of the sanitary facilities and, for example, the collected dishes in sight. We will come back for a nice meal again soon!

Amazing place can't fault it, service was lovely and food was great. The kids were also so happy with their meals, keyring and fancy pudding. We came back a second time as it was so lovely.

I am not a lover of American food but if you are going to eat it you want it done well and this place does it well. Great vegetarian and vegan options as well.

So far we have only had it delivered, but it is so delicious! Everything cheerfully and neatly packaged, super tasty and fresh! I can't finish it in one go, so I enjoy it again the next day. Even the salad is delicious, everything is just delicious, every time 😀

Had a delicious meal at POPS in Wassaar. I came here with 3 friends after one of them made a surprise reservation. After a fifteen minute journey we arrived at POPS, which is located in a nice quiet area in a small open shopping center. Once inside, we were warmly welcomed by the waitress and we were able to take a seat at our table almost immediately. We had the one next door at the beginning of the restaurant. It is a clean beautiful restaurant with an American atmosphere in the decor. Free WiFi is also available here for enthusiasts. My friends ordered the classic burger and the french burger. I had the philly cheese steak. Very much enjoyed the delicious food, it was a lot but so incredibly tasty that we wanted to leave a good review for that reason alone. We also ordered an iced coffee and 2 Nutella milkshakes, all three had a donut around the straw and were very tasty. For comparison, imagine the tastiest milkshake/iced coffee you know and then multiply that flavor times 10. It was very filling and so I didn't finish everything. But that doesn't matter because we enjoyed it and got our money's worth. Afterwards we asked for the bill and we were able to pay it quickly within a few minutes. Afterwards we were thanked for coming and said goodbye. Summary: good food, good service and nice location. However, I think the decor is missing something, but I can't place what. 9/10

incredible food, atmosphere and service

Went because of a recommendation from a FB group, very disappointing experience. Had to call waitress over to eventually order our food, came pretty quickly. Firstly we ordered 5 meals, out came 3 small baskets of chips. We were told if we wanted more chips we would have to order extra ( cleared up at the end that we wouldn’t have to pay extra, but we didn’t know that at the start of the meal.) so imagine 2 adults trying to take chips off 3 hungry children. Adults ended up with hardly any chips. Ordered steak medium well, it came out completely rare. She took it back to the kitchen and it came back slightly less rare. Ribs were on a small chopping board which would have been ok if the ribs weren’t the toughest I’ve ever encountered in my life, so nearly flew off the table while I was trying to cut them. No meat on them anyway so I don’t know why I bothered. Absolutely no room for all the meals on the table, we had to sit things on the ground so we could eat comfortably. The kids enjoyed their meals thankfully. Probably because of all the chips they got. We did speak to the waitress and they didn’t charge us for the adult meals, only saving grace she was very nice. I’m just glad we didn’t have to fork out £110 euros when we had to get some food on the walk back to the accommodation as still hungry. A wholly disappointing experience at the end of our holiday.

Excellent place to eat a bit pricey but all the restaurants are in this area captures for children very well American and Mexican type food the fish and chips are lovely as are the cocktails staff are top class well worth a visit

We visited Pops twice whilst staying nearby at Duinrell. This is a fabulous place to eat! The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is INCREDIBLE! I had the pulled pork burger twice and we had the Oreo milkshake too which comes with a donut! Honestly, this place is fantastic and of course we sat outside in the beautiful sunshine. Highly recommended! ❤️

Update to my review 6 years later - food still amazing, drinks also amazing, even with ordering they've thought about the cooking time and delivery. Everything was perfect and delicious! Mixed grill, gumbo is recommended. As well as the cheesecake. Delicious food (many guilty pleasures, but also many healthy options), good Gin Tonics and nicely decorated!! It is important to make a reservation in advance for dinner. They also have a small cozy terrace for when the sun is out. Recommended!

We come here regularly, but now we both had something different for the first time, the pancakes with Nutella and the vegetarian crispy 'chicken' Cesar salad. It was so delicious! I normally don't like salads because they don't have much flavor but this was delicious! It was really filling (I'm a small eater so I couldn't finish it all) and it had a lot of flavor with veggie bacon, veggie chicken, tasty croutons and dressing! We will be back :)

Abnormally delicious! Mixed grill chosen because the choice was difficult. Everything was super tasty. Ribs where the meat fell off the ribs. Steak you could suck down. Hamburger fresh as it should be. In short, we will come back here. And then I forgot to mention the extremely friendly service 👌.

Typical dutch, quick bites, croquette, bittenballen and drinks. Pre organized food, not by a kitchen staff but rather by a very organized system to minimize staff/cost.

Very nice place with a playcorner for children. Mine 2.5 granddaughter really enjoyed herself while we were eating.

Great environment and very friendly staff! We enjoyed our time there and its ideal for a lunch break! I ordered chicken burger, but I wasn't fully satisfied with it, since the chicken had kind of an unnatural taste. It was ok and I ate it, but there was something missing from the taste of it.

Great opportunity to meet up with people to catch up and have an American-style lunch. Nicky our waitress was friendly and prompt. The lunch menu offers a good choice: salads, egg dishes, hamburgers, bagels and sandwiches. We could talk to each other nicely because there was no music! Recommended!
