Lovely Greek restaurant, delicious food. The service is super friendly, and it really feels like a little piece of Greece inside. We had some appetizers and a mixed grill for three people with tenderloin, chicken breast, pork tenderloin, and gyros. A real treat! The keftadakia was a bit dry, and the tenderloin was quite tough (not real tenderloin, right?). When we pointed this out, they offered us a drink on the house. A nice solution!

The hostess and the waitress were very friendly. The food was very tasty, but the portions could have been larger. The salad and dressing were also excellent. Location: On a shopping street. There's a terrace in front.

Great restaurant, delicious food, nice service and a great welcome by a super friendly hostess. The food is great, and we had a lactose and gluten allergy when booking, they really handle this great, almost everything is taken into account, or they look for a solution or alternative, this continues to a gluten-free cookie with the coffee, really a very big compliment 🥂💞

Yesterday we had another delicious meal at Zorba. It's not just about the delicious food but especially about the whole experience. We felt very welcome, the service was very attentive and friendly and even though the restaurant was full, someone regularly came by to ask if everything was to our liking. It was very warm outside but pleasantly cool inside. Despite all the tables being occupied it was not noisy. Tables are far enough apart and the music is softly audible in the background. We would love to come back again.

Dit is een plek waar je goed kan eten voor een normale prijs. Maar...dit is het dan :-). Wat doet dit restaurant hier tussen de beste restaurants van Noord Holland?! Ik vind het doodsaai, ik heb prima gegeten maar had totaal geen indruk gehad dat ik een avondje uit eten was.

We have now eaten at this restaurant several times. You always get plates full of food here and it is also a huge taste sensation. Deliciously spicy food, deliciously diverse and the meat is always tender. Zorba has not disappointed us in all areas. Highly recommended!

Starter and main course excellent, dessert mediocre (anyone can make 2 scoops of ice cream, whipped cream and 3 slices of banana). Service not really good when the chef with a jacket on keeps looking at you around closing time. It would have been better to announce that they are closing

Heerlijk eten! Vlees lekker mals. Bediening uiterst correct en zeer vriendelijk. Prijs / kwaliteit uitstekend! Wij komen zeker terug.

Onze cadeaubon gebruikt bij Zorba in Hoorn. We hebben als hoofdgerecht de Zorba schotel en het vegetarische gerecht gekozen, het was weer overheerlijk. Er was nog een plekje over voor de baklava en caramel ijs met een koffie. Mariska en team, bedankt maar weer voor de gastvrijheid en het heerlijke eten.

Friendly service, nothing is too crazy or too much. As always in Greek restaurants, food is too much for me, but here at Zorba it is very tastefully prepared. Atmosphere in the restaurant is informal and pleasantly busy! The wine list is excellent and has sufficient choice. The dessert of ice cream with sweet Greek cake was a nice end to the meal. The cake was not too sweet which was fine with the ice cream. All in all a very successful dinner. This was not the first time at Zorba and therefore deserves the 5 stars! Updates Went again on February 3, 2023! Nothing has changed, top service, delicious food and fine Nemea wine. Visited on April 16. The quality is consistently good! Update October 10, 2024. There is still reason to go to Zorba! Delicious refined flavors of oregano, thyme, rosemary. The hostess is, in a word, great.

Excellent Greek restaurant. The food was very tasty and the hostesses did their best. Recommended: starter, Kalamaris and the gratinated unpeeled shrimp and as a main course the Piato Zorba! The souflaki is tender by the way. Even the children's ice cream will surprise you.

Wat je verwacht van een Grieks restaurant is wat wij hier ook kregen. Gezellig, sfeervol en vriendelijke en snelle service. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding, volle borden. Naar onze mening was het vlees wel wat te droog.

I recently had to eat gluten-free. I have never felt so welcome in a restaurant with my dietary restrictions. There is no allergen menu, but the staff is well informed about everything and puts a delicious gluten-free meal on the table.

What an authentic piece of Greece in the heart of Hoorn! The food was really something to remember, it actually felt like being in Greece for an evening, the waiting time it’s a bit long but it doesn’t matter if the quality is what it is! The team is extremely nice and they really care for you to enjoy your dinner! Ευχαριστώ! I will be back soon!

It was pleasantly busy and there was a real Greek atmosphere. The dishes are tasty and the portions are large. Staff pays attention to the little details and is very friendly. The dessert of the day was delicious!

Very nice place, with very nice food and location in hoorn. Not far from transferium parking place, where you can easily and cheaply park your car the whole night.

We went for dinner very cute restaurant with a nice atmosphere. But the food could have been better. I really wanted to like this place but I Asked them to accommodate allergies to onions and gluten. They said no problem. Then they brought me a salad with onions and when we sent it back because of the allergy, they didn’t make a new salad only picked off the onions so the salad still tasted of onions. Asked for gf and they assured me the rest of the meal was gf. But being ill 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant says otherwise.

1st time and never again. Meat was very moderately seasoned Eigenarasse looked like a robot. Did everything on autopilot, commercially nice. Warming plate does not really keep the meat warm. This got cold quickly. Gyross was hard, but the price wasn't expensive either.

Eine eklatante, bodenlose und unverschämte Frechheit. Was war gut: - das Essen hat gut geschmeckt - die Bedienung war freundlich ABER Wir waren zu fünft dort und haben Hauptspeise bestellt zu denen laut Karte JE ein Salat und eine Portion Pommes serviert werden würden. Aber was ist passiert?! Am Ende hatten wir 2 Salate und 2 Portionen Pommes für 5 Leute. Dass wir der Situation entsprechen massivst enttäuscht waren und uns natürlich gefragt haben wo denn unsere fehlenden Portionen seinen ist wohl offensichtlich. Auf Nachfrage bei der Bedienung (die für das ganze natürlich natürlich nichts kann) wurde uns gesagt dass bei Gruppen nicht die volle Menge an Beilagen serviert werden würde. Uns wurde gesagt dass wir ohne Probleme die fehlenden Portionen bekommen könnten. Das böse erwachen kam bei der Rechnung. Die eigentlich im Preis inbegriffenen Pommes wurden extra berechnet. Zur Krönung des Abends konnten wir auch die Rechnung nicht teilen. Alles in allem eine Enttäuschung die an Betrug grenzt.

Although Greek is not really my first choice, I thought the food was delicious. A lot of meat so half of it went back to the kitchen. Very friendly lady who served us. Great restaurant.

On Friday 12/07/2024 I had a date with someone from Hoorn and decided to have dinner at Zorba de Greek and that turned out to be an excellent choice by my guide from Hoorn. The wonderful Greek guest freedom and the chill attitude made it an experience you will never forget. There for these more than justified 5 stars. Definitely a place where they will see me again and a place that I recommend to everyone. Keep up the good work, great

Last week I ate Greek food at Zorba with my son. Delicious food and a cozy atmosphere, we were not short of anything, a really child-friendly restaurant. Toys and high chair were already ready at the table. Delicious meal, sitting comfortably! Recommended!!

Visited here last night with my wife, we had no reservation, but they were able to fit us in. It was really busy, which is always a good sign. Great food and friendly staff, at a fair price, would definitely recommend a visit.

Atmosphere is fine. Spacious and clear. Not too many choices in menu, service is great. I really didn't like the food as much. Gyros is dry and hard, bifteki is tasty, but still lacks some flavor. but all in all, despite the very good service and friendly waitresses, we will not eat here again.
