Had to wait more than 2 hours for food. They are now also making orders via Thuisbezorgd under "Thunderbuns", but with exactly the same poor quality.

Order food regularly. Always delicious! The delivery person is also always friendly and neatly dressed. A gentleman.

I ordered at 10:38 PM, it is now 12:50 AM, and I still haven't received my food. I'm also trying to call them, but the line keeps getting 'busy'. I can understand that it's busy, but having to wait 2.5 hours for 3 crêpes is absolutely ridiculous.

Waited 2.5 hours and the order still hasn't arrived; it concerns 2 crêpes. Eventually, after 2 hours, I called to ask if the order was still coming. The man on the phone indicated it would be with me within 15 minutes. We are now 30 minutes further along and still nothing! Customer service is also nowhere to be found! Never, ever again!

Ordered Mexican burritos twice. Called first to ask if there were certain ingredients that couldn't be included. The gentleman said he would put this in the description, so we did. Subsequently, you get a dry burrito with only dough and ground meat. The ground meat was burnt, so it tasted like nothing. The food also arrived 2 hours late, so our hunger had already disappeared. And after eating that dry meal, I am now sitting on the couch with a stomach ache and diarrhea!

Zorba also works dressed as Thunderbun on Thuisbezorgd. After 30 minutes they report that it is on its way, but after 2 hours nothing has arrived yet. If you call, they rudely say, "Yes, we are busy, we still have to make it, better cancel." Worthless company

The atmosphere, food, and owners are top-notch.

It was very pleasant. The waiter was excellent and we got our food very quickly. If you want to eat somewhere quick, tasty, and cozy with a good atmosphere, this is the place to be!

For me, this is the last time for now. The portions were small and the fries were cold and looked very unappetizing.

I went to this restaurant and it was truly a great experience. The food was fantastic, especially the dishes served by Mohammed. He was sincere, quick, and very friendly. I will definitely come back here.

Inedible, the food is cold and has multiple hairs in it. Be warned, not even worth 1 star, aggressive staff who don't know how to deal with customers.

We ate there... It was a Sunday evening and the atmosphere was quiet. I didn't like the loud music, but I didn't have time to complain (the girl next to me reacted faster), and they turned it down, otherwise it became downright uncomfortable. A downside for me is the menu without any pictures. I always mark this as a negative and mention it to the staff (as a note), but maybe it will work and in the future they will consider a photo menu. It's hard to tell what the dish is without a photo and how to eat it. But we generally figured it out by touch. Another downside is the plastic cutlery. It's not convenient to eat with them. Overall, the food was pretty tasty, but the portions were a bit small. The prices are relatively reasonable. I don't know if I'll come back here again. But it's worth a visit; everyone will definitely find something tasty for themselves 🙃

Thunderbuns, including its staff, is not customer-focused and simply refuses to listen. Their phone calls are terrible, and the service is terrible. The delivery driver arrived at my door at least two hours later. This is completely useless. It has nothing to do with the weather; it's simply the company's mentality. The way they communicated over the phone was proof enough that I knew I'd ordered from the wrong tent. Never again. I'd rather pay full price for something with good service than a cheap tent that blames the customer.

I ordered the Zorba menu, and the souvlaki was incredibly dry, didn't taste fresh, and it was supposed to be accompanied by gyros, but I didn't see anything that resembled it. There was some strange ground meat that was probably supposed to be gyros, but it was absolutely disgusting and tasted nothing like it. The rice was just awful and dry. In short, everything tasted and looked like prison food. Only the fries were good.

After over two hours, the food arrived. After cutting the chicken skewers and hamburger, they were simply raw inside. I immediately picked up the phone and called them. Zorba resolved the issue promptly and offered two new dishes. Hopefully, these will be cooked through.

Waited two hours for my order, as usual at this place. The delivery drivers also can't plan their routes properly and drive past my location twice to other addresses that aren't on their route at all. The delivery driver is extremely antisocial, and then you receive your food without a word.

The food was delicious! We had the souflaki dish and the lamb chop dish, which were deliciously seasoned and perfectly grilled. We really enjoyed them, highly recommended! The food was ready on time, nice and hot, and the service was very friendly (we ordered takeout). We will definitely order takeout again!

I got sick from the gyros loaded fries

This review is about the burgers from Thunderbuns at Van Welderenstraat 130, not Zorba. Because Thunderbuns doesn't have its own review feature and both businesses are owned by the same company and operate under the same address, I'm posting my review here. I think you'd be better off using my photos as a showcase 😅. Those burger photos are very misleading; what I received looked nothing like it. €14 for a small, dry burger without the sauce and Parmesan promised was truly disappointing. This shouldn't be so misleading; in the Netherlands, advertising photos must reasonably reflect the product you receive (ACM regulations). Last time here for me.

I'm used to Amsterdam standards, and the food and price were excellent. The dish was DELICIOUSLY seasoned with plenty of gyros, delicious chicken skewers, and a tender lamb chop. And the extra spicy sauce I asked for was truly spicy. 10/10

It's outrageous how poorly filled this pita gyro is, for which you pay €9. You've just spent over €30 on Uber Eats for a few bites of bread with a piece of meat, fries in between, and some sauce and vegetables. Absolutely unacceptable.

I ordered food from here on Wednesday and am now in the hospital! It's so bad I'll never order from here again!

I ordered at 10:50 PM and tried calling more than ten times between midnight and 12:35 AM. The phone rang normally at first, then it was simply set to do not disturb. Finally, around 12:45 AM—almost two hours later—I decided to go to the store myself, even though I'd paid the delivery fee. When I got there, I asked the employee behind the counter what was going on. Her explanation? A so-called kitchen fire. There was no sign of it: no smoke, no burning smell, nothing at all. Meanwhile, my order was getting cold in a delivery bag, right on the table. As if that wasn't enough: I paid extra for an XL burrito, but got a regular burrito. Just how small is a "regular" burrito? For €3.50 extra for avocado, I got guacamole that tasted spoiled. In short: paid for delivery, paid for extras, but ultimately had to pick up the food cold, with the wrong and spoiled ingredients. What happened to the good Zorba of the past, the one I always recommended to everyone? Has it become a money laundering scheme? Because clearly, food and service are no longer a priority.

It is anything but service, if you want to go to the toilet you have to pay money that makes no sense!

I went to this restaurant a year ago and had a good experience. I recently returned to their new location, but unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The food wasn't as good as before, and the prices have gone up. In my opinion, the value for money isn't what it used to be. Hopefully, they're working on improvements.

Im actually shocked how good this food was. Ordered on Uber eats with 50% off: two sucuk quesadillas (3x what you see in the picture, not spicy btw don’t worry) and two pita gyros for 20 euros. In this economy?! And tasting honestly so so good? 5 startsssss. Delivery was also quick (the expected time)

The food was okay and the girl who served us was great. But the first dish we got served wasn't announced. We didn't know what dish it was. He just dropped it on the table. We had to ask him what it was and he didnt know it for sure either. It was in overall not the best experience I've had with Zorba.

I've eaten here a few times and really enjoyed the food! Everything is halal so I could order something without any worries. The food is very unique, you don't often see this in other restaurants and it is also healthier than other chains. Definitely recommended to eat here!

Zorba, well what can I say about this. First of all, the food was plentiful and of great quality, I can't say anything else and that for a fair price. Furthermore, it was served very beautifully and neatly. Nothing but praise for the chefs and kitchen. However, it is still a takeaway and delivery restaurant. The service was a bit clumsy and awkward. Had to ask for cutlery and plates. Hmm. However, I would like to note that the staff do their utmost to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A little more training for the wait staff and you'll earn the 5 star rating with flying colors. Keep it up. Still highly recommended.

Went to Zorba Nijmegen today. Ate Burito California. was very tasty. There were nice ladies present, atmosphere was good, we had a nice conversation with them. they were very friendly and helpful in choosing dish. Great ladies, thank you. I'll be back for sure.

Very mediocre and dry food, I had a stomach ache all evening afterwards (that may have been my fault), the music was so loud there that it seemed like a club... when you took a bite of your burrito, the rice was vibrating with the spring onion the music was so loud. Staff was friendly.

This place is so bad I wouldn’t give my dog to eat that food . Don’t be mistaken it’s not a Greek shop . Foods are frozen pre made supermarket crap . If you eat there prepare for a skibidi toilet 🤮🤮🤮

I have been coming to Zorba for years and the snow white crepe is the best in the area. Unfortunately, I threw away food for the first time last night. Ordered a salad, half of which was missing (corn, pepper, cheese and very little tzatziki) but it did contain jalapeno (it is not stated on the menu that it contains it). Ordered online at 01:05 and paid for 01:30 pick-up but it wasn't ready when we arrived. Ended up having to wait 15 minutes. Very unfortunate and hopefully this was a one-off, but unfortunately when I called to discuss this, there was no answer. Hair salon was good and food was normally also great, that's why 3 stars. Salad was not worth a star.

Delicious food, burritos (also veggie) are highly recommended! It was ready quickly and the service was friendly. When I was a student I often went to the previous location one street away and always had a good meal.

Meerder keren bestel ik en wordt het eten pas gemaakt wanneer ik er ben terwel ik 40 minuten vantevoren bel. Steeds haal ik me trein niet dus ik dacht ik besteld online bij thuisbezorgd. Na 40 minuten nog geen eten. Ik ging dus persoonlijk minn eten daarna ophalen vanwege het eten maar niet bezorgd werdt. Werdr het pas gemaakt toen ik het aangaf. Na 1 uur had ik me eten waarbij ik nogmaals me trein heb gemist en weer met koud eten naar huis kan gaan. Het eten is topp maar hun service is zo slecht dat geen enkele manier ervoor zorgt dat ik me eten optijd krijg of het kan afhalen.

The worst food I have ever ordered, meat was undercooked, food was cold and also way too salty. And I'm not even talking about the price of around €90 for 4 people. So if you're looking for a stomach ache and food that isn't worth the money, I definitely recommend this place

I ordered a gyros sandwich, but when I received the sandwich it turned out that the gyros sandwich contained fries, which made the taste very bland and like potatoes. It was not clear from the ingredients list that it would contain fries. The herbs and sauce were also so bland that the taste experience was disappointing. This sandwich is anything but according to an authentic Greek recipe:

Ordered 2 hours ago. About 20 minutes after the expected delivery time, I called to ask where it was. Then got the answer that they were on their way. Now it is already 30 minutes later and still no sign of my evening meal, tried to call but the phone is not answered.. Ordered at 6:40 PM currently it is 8:36 PM

Called 30 minutes in advance and placed our order for collection. Once we arrived, we paid immediately and after waiting 10 minutes we asked if it was almost ready (since we had plans, we had to go asap). Only after asking how far they had come did they start to prepare our order, this was also the moment that two employees actually started doing something and did not let the third person do everything alone. So we ended up having to wait 20 minutes for food that was ordered 30 minutes in advance. It's a shame that even the burrito had little flavor afterwards. We walk further and children of less than 10 clean the table and do small things, nice that it is probably a family business, but what a disorganized intention and very mediocre food.

This place had really good burritos and nachos. As Americans we had struggled communicating since we don’t speak Dutch, but nevertheless they were very helpful and made sure multiple times that they got what we ordered correctly. We also had a nice conversation with another one of the people who worked there, I’m guessing he was the owner but not entirely sure, and he was extremely kind to us. Could not have asked for better food to end our day in Nijmegen.

It’s a Greek restaurant playing loud Turkish music selling Mexican food. Sounds great on paper but I wouldn’t recommend it. The burrito was very bland and nothing Mexican about it except that’s it’s wrapped in a tortilla. All the stuffing tasted like it wasn’t fresh at all drizzled in a very non specific white sauce.

Even 1 tern is too much. Everything cold, pancakes, meat, etc. Employees are all busy taking photos. Waited for half an hour in a very cold room and you still get a cold meal. Chewy Pancakes with meat from the refrigerator. Ridiculous

Too bad that when it comes to home delivery, it is not indicated that they supply halal meat and therefore not Greek, I searched for Greek food and ended up at Zorba. The dishes do not state that they are NOT a traditional preparation, which is a shame and a real waste of money. I don't understand why they are allowed to offer Greek dishes on their site with the Greek name while it is anything but Greek, souvlaki is skewered pork and therefore not chicken. Then add that it is halal souvlaki, then people will know that it is different than expected.

The best best hungover food or just something to grab if youre reaallyy hungry. The staff has always been very friendly:) They certainly have a lot of options.

Enjoy this good Greek/Mexican cuisine today. I ate a burrito, a taco chicken, pita gyros, fries and a crepe, let's start with the less good things and then we'll get rid of that. The chicken tacos do not contain chicken (but do contain tasty minced lamb). That's a shame if you order a chicken taco, of course. Other than that it was delicious. The gyros was tender and not dry and the burrito was really filling. The crepe was also superbly made. All in all a good tent.
