Good food. Very friendly and attentive service. My wife couldn't make a good choice and asked for something that wasn't on the menu. She briefly consulted the chef, and she was accommodated. Delicious lattes (hot, good, and generously sized, with a shot of espresso poured at the table). The atmosphere is warm and the acoustics are good. Especially for someone with hypersensitivity, lunch there is manageable.

Delicious food in a beautiful, atmospheric restaurant. We ate here with TheFork Yums (€50 discount), still a bit pricey, but worth the experience.

Steven's is a wonderful restaurant. A chic hotel with delicious coffee, homemade lemonade, and lunches. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. We had a wonderful afternoon thanks to Steven.

This place was truly overpriced, and the service was disappointing. We ordered an appetizer, but the bill ended up being much more than that. Without consulting us, they'd charged an extra portion and the wrong price. Mistakes happen, but we only got a partial refund, "because otherwise there would have been a difference at the checkout." It was a strange story, and not very customer-friendly. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The heated patio is a great spot for people-watching! Service on the patio can sometimes take a while.

We only had a coffee ☕️, but even then the difference was noticeable. A small brownie was served on a spoon. Friendly and attentive service. Although it was a gray November day, we sat comfortably outside.

A lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere and excellent food. Friendly service. One point of concern is the very small wine glasses, which were also poorly filled. I made a playful comment about it on my third glass, and after that, it was as I'm used to...and I don't mean the glasses they pour at home 😀

A nice, cozy-looking place, but the food was very disappointing. We ordered a starter platter to share. It was fine, but the cheese was missing. The staff was very busy, so we left it alone. There weren't many pregnancy-safe options, so we opted for the poultry of the moment. It turned out to be duck. We told the staff that it shouldn't be raw. Without asking why, they said they would definitely fix it! But unfortunately, it wasn't, and the duck was completely raw. I sent it back. Meanwhile, I checked on my husband, who was eating, because more than 10 minutes later the duck returned. Completely scorched, black, gray, and bone dry. When we picked up our plates, they still asked if we'd enjoyed them, even though our plates were still full. The dish was removed from the bill, along with two drinks. However, it turned out that the drinks platter with one small bread roll, six cold cuts, and a little olive oil was supposed to cost €15 per person, so a total of €30. They said this was listed on the menu. Unfortunately, I only checked the menu online as I was leaving, but it wasn't listed anywhere. For two drinks, one main course, and a minimal appetizer platter, we spent over €100. We won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful surroundings and excellent food. However, the prices are not justified by the quality of the food and service. I think they're still trying to figure out what concept the restaurant wants to establish.

The food, the ambiance, and especially the service are top-notch! Dogs are allowed and welcome. However, the prices are outrageous. A main course consisting of a slice (!) of eggplant, couscous, and some vegetables costs €24. Absolutely delicious, no doubt, but unfortunately very expensive. Otherwise, we have absolutely no reason to complain; it's wonderful here, but unfortunately, we wouldn't come back.

Ate here for the first time. Pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, though the amount of artificial flowers is a bit of a shame. But the food is delicious!!! That's what you come for, after all. We started with an amuse-bouche, then had a three-course menu, a total of nine different dishes, and a cheese board. Not a single dish disappointed. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful and cozy place! The service was friendly and fast, although we did have to wait a long time for our lunch. The food was delicious, with generous portions. Because we were there during the Four Days Marches, we were given plastic cups (yes, even if you're there at 1:00 PM). Understandable, but incomprehensible that they charge €2 for them. I'd rather be served a drink in a glass than a plastic cup, and then I have to pay for it.😅 Perhaps that's why I only received the receipt after paying, when I specifically asked for it.

Had lunch on the terrace. Very friendly and fast staff. Excellent tuna with cheddar cheese. Delicious homemade lemonade with lime and rosemary. I can't say anything about the atmosphere inside the restaurant. That's why 4 stars.

I ordered the homemade watermelon lemonade for almost €5, but it turned out to be just syrup. It didn't taste like fresh watermelon at all and definitely didn't feel homemade. For that price I expected something much better.

Too bad, for 27.50 a lamb chop, half of which is inedible fat. Then two green asparagus, a kind of sweet potato mousse and a bowl of gravy. For that price, with that quality? Disappointed.

The restaurant looks beautiful, with a warm, cozy atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. The service was friendly and attentive without being pushy, just right. We had a delicious meal; the dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. You can see and taste that they pay attention to what is on the table. A place to definitely return to regularly!

Info is that it is open till midnight but when arrived at 10:00 pm on a Friday they were only prepared to serve one coffee ad nothing else.

Correct and friendly service with knowledge of the business and good interaction with guests. The bun came with enough butter and was a nice size. The food was very tasty. Difference between medium-rare and medium was excellently done. The starters were a good portion: the scallops delicious and the duck tasty and interesting. As a main course, the bavette was excellently prepared and of good quality. We did order vegetables and fries, which are not included in the main course. The cheese board was also excellent with special and tasty cheeses. They know about food here. But I didn't think the desserts looked good to other guests and so I didn't order them. All in all great! And the price-quality ratio is good, although without the discount it would be on the expensive side for us, without the discount we would come back again because of the good quality. At another table because it was very noisy.

Today (on Sunday) I spontaneously walked in for a main course. Unfortunately, this was not in the staff's plans. After taking a table it took a very long time before we received a menu and our first drinks. From our point of view, the staff was “too busy” with jokes and jokes, but they came to the table laughing and told us that something went wrong. There was an argument in the kitchen about the noise level that the entire restaurant could enjoy. We got our food and when it was finished she asked if it was actually to our liking. We paid and walked out the door and will never return here.

Nice people, nice place and good food!

Had dinner at Steven's tonight: nice wine and a delicious meal in a charming restaurant. This immediately says everything. Ordered wine and sparkling water after arrival. It was immediately noticeable that there were new staff around, because our wine bottle was closed and placed on the table with a corkscrew next to it. After we indicated that we found this strange, the manager/manager agreed and the wine was uncorked for us. After this you still have to ask for the sparkling water. From our table we could look into the open kitchen. Here we saw a chef take a bite of crumble, cabbage or fries from almost every plate and put it in his mouth and then finish the next plate after licking his fingers. Without washing hands. Extremely dirty. We reported this to the manager/manager and he spoke to the chef about it, after which he then took fries from a plate himself... The main course is too expensive for the portion size. Especially if the boeuf bourguignon is heated up in a saucepan and the tarte tartin is actually a piece of flat cake. We were not given any cutlery with the cheese board. We had to ask for this and were only given a knife. After this I still had to ask for a fork. Under non-verbal protest we received a dinner fork, not appropriate for a cheese dessert. The cheese was delicious, but with a €15 dessert you at least expect an explanation of the cheeses that is correct and understandable. Unfortunately this was not possible because the waitress was new and was not allowed to look at her cheat sheet/didn't know enough about what she was serving. For the coffee we had to contact staff again to take the order. Conclusion: we had a nice meal, but we won't be back here again.

Late one Sunday evening I was seduced into the quaint dive bar “Steven” with my two companions. The name evoked in me - through the allusion to Steven Seagal - boozy emotions that I couldn't resist in the slightest. On the recommendation of the house, we each ordered a cocktail and, upon request, fries “without anything,” with the remark that the waiter was probably feeling cutthroat and gluttonous. However, he didn't let it show and suggested a portion that, according to the gastronomy expert, could easily be shared and eaten by three people. A diabolical ten minutes later, the food arrived - an ant's feast, mind you. To illustrate: three 0.3 liter cocktails and a portion of amateurish fries, the quantity of which seemed to decrease just by looking at them. The portion was so meager and drained that even Bernd Zehner had the impression that we were in the middle of filming “Do you understand fun?” What wasn't funny at all, however, was the salty bill that was washed away. Hallelujah times three – a sum that sent shivers down our spines.

Very nice and cozy furnishings. Delicious lunch and staff super nice and helpful. Will definitely come by more often.

Had pea soup with rye bread it was green water without anything in it the rye bread was so dry it tasted like paper

Delicious food for a normal price

On the terrace, it took fifteen minutes before we saw anyone outside, service, then 20 minutes later we went inside and we finally got the order. Nicely resolved, but those 3 drinks really need to be done faster.

Changes from 2 to 5 people are no problem. Even when we indicated that we would be 15 minutes late, it was no problem. Immediately received confirmation of both changes by email.

Waited 20 minutes for a soup, when it finally arrived it was so diluted with water that there was no crunch or taste. Also no bread this time because the same soup now belonged to dinner instead of lunch. The waiting time of 20 minutes was also normal because it was now a starter. Not doing well for Steven!

We hadden een tafeltje voor 2 gereserveerd. Bij aankomst was er geen plek, reserveren betekent blijkbaar bij Steven geen garantie op een tafel. Na het achterlaten van een review op The Fork werd ik gebeld. Mijn verhaal klopte niet volgens hem en hij maakte er plots een 'no show' van. Ik had geen idee wat dat betekende, maar nu begrijp ik dat hij doet alsof we niet kwamen opdagen en heeft onze review verwijderd.

Modern decor with a pleasant atmosphere, very nicely decorated at this time of year. Staff is friendly and very service oriented! The menu may look a bit small, but they use fresh products and I have the feeling that a lot of it is made in-house. We had the chicken sandwich and the falafel flatbread. The flavor combinations are delicious, fresh and very well balanced. The lunch dishes are colorful and also nicely priced and this is not reflected in the portions, which are nice and large.

Delicious tea, delicious pastries and cozy atmosphere. Nice Christmas atmosphere. Wine also tasted good. Nice service. Next time we will have lunch here.

Had lunch with a group. Slightly awkward operation, but that in itself is not a problem. Various dishes all looked fine.

There were tables available where we wanted to sit, but they were held as reserved. We ended up having to sit on high chairs while those tables remained empty. I also find the food expensive for what you get and little choice.

I really enjoyed the service and the atmosphere. However food was not great, especially considering the price. I ordered a burger and watermelon lemonade. The buns of the burger were dry and hard to chew which I find unbelievable. The rest of the burger was really average. The watermelon lemonade tasted like nothing. I really hope you can improve the food quality because besides that everything was great.

Nice interior, friendly service. Tea water was not boiled so tea could not really steep. Tomato soup... well it was tasty but it was more liquid tomato sauce than soup. Only tomato pulp with water, without anything other than a little spring onion... no soup taste... then 8 euros is way too much...

We had a nice meal at Steven's, the atmosphere was good and the staff was friendly! The bread, the drink mix and starters were particularly popular. The polenta with the burrata was a bit sweet, the food was delicious and we had a nice evening!

Het personeel bejegende ons ( en een andere dame op het terras) zo onaardig dat we de geplande lunch hebben laten zitten en na het betalen van onze lauwe koffie maar zijn opgestapt .

On Friday I ate chicken masala bread and my wife had bread with goat cheese. Chicken was not warm and bread was floating in the dressing. Bread with goat cheese had no dressing on it at all and was therefore impossible to remove as it was so dry. Half went back to the kitchen after reporting this and that our food had not been tasty at all. Okay, that's 25 euros and have a nice day. Very unprofessional and I recommend going one door further.

Cozy place with friendly staff, but it is high time they looked for a new chef. I ate the worst hamburger ever here. A kind of gummy ball topped with unmelted cheese and a limp, sickly smelling piece of bacon with a pile of half-decayed lettuce next to it. Since there is a shortage of good chefs, a cooking course might be a good alternative.

The only question that occurred to me is why it would be necessary to turn on patio heating in July, hahaha! It was already quite warm, and it is also bad for the environment. Hoping for one spot on a sunny summer evening, it was plentiful, to my surprise!! We start with a glass of wine and first order an appetizer of scallops (2) with a coarse piece of pork belly, for the price of €14 quite a bit, waiting too long for service to order anything else, I just walk to pay, waiting turns operation around with one cigarette!! Sorry, which table.....without any appreciation as to whether it was all to your satisfaction!! Another colleague walks past, no attention at all!! Completely bad experience!!

Truly the best nachos I have ever eaten!! Wonderful atmosphere in cozy Nijmegen. Nice street that has a running water in the middle where kids can have fun playing.
