What a delicious meal! Great location. Despite the crowds, we were helped quickly!

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT THERE. I have absolutely nothing to complain about this excellent restaurant. They are friendly, sociable, fun, kind, and spontaneous. They are enthusiastic and want to help people well, offering them food and drinks and occasionally a chat when possible. They communicate well with both customers and their colleagues. That's really wonderful to see and feel, and they also laugh a lot together, which is a must.

The food was very tasty, but they took our food away even though we definitely hadn't finished eating, just had a cigarette. That was a real shame, and we weren't compensated for it.

Just down-to-earth coziness and very hospitable and friendly service. We had starter, main course and dessert and it was all delicious. They take various diets and allergies into account. Spacious terrace and parking is possible next to the terrace or at the town hall, also free. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Nice terrace for a nice drink under the large parasols. It's a shame that they have a small parking lot for visitors on bicycles. Cars park with their bumpers almost on the terrace. Just create more bicycle spaces and 2 fewer spaces for cars

Was very busy, no place on the terrace. Can happen. I sat down inside. After a while I was asked if I wanted to use something? Apple pie with whipped cream and coffee. The coffee was ok, the pastry came out of the freezer and was wet, the whipped cream and aerosol had "melted" in no time. No apple pie next time. The price was ok. Employees were friendly.

Very much enjoyed the game menu, just the way we like to eat it in the Ardennes or in France, delicious. And delicious dessert. Perhaps a bit limited in terms of wine selection. It is a noisy restaurant, but that is less disturbing if you sit in the conservatory. Service very nice.

Vanavond heerlijk hier gegeten. Erg vriendelijke bediening die graag een stapje harder loopt voor hun gasten en tijd maakt voor een praatje als er de ruimte is. Het eten was erg goed. Ruime keuze voor allergenen echt super.

Na een dagje fietsen waarbij we de Pulle dagen in Hoogeveen en Nystad hebben bezocht was het tijd om een happie te eten. Nou dit kan perfect bij de Huuskamer. Heerlijk biefstukje gehad, met groente, gemixte sla en frietjes. We konden er ook nog gebakken aardappelen bij krijgen maar friet was genoeg voor ons. Daarna genoten van een lekker dessert. Prijs was redelijk, kwaliteit prima. Kortom een aanrader.

Spare ribs were excellent (recommended!), but the pork tenderloin in 'mushroom sauce' was not in sauce but under a slab of dried sauce or something like that (with cheese, so they said). Meat overcooked and dry. Reaction to this led to a discussion in which people started talking about 'stews', boiling down, and that the dish was well prepared. And above all, we should not think that the dish was taken off the bill, which was not our intention. The pork tenderloin was not recommended, but worse was the difficulty in dealing with criticism!

Food was very disappointing. The schnitzel tasted bland, the mushrooms were limp and black, most of the fried potatoes were almost fried black and impossible to get through, the raw vegetables had a pink? color and you couldn't tell what it was. It was really very amateurish. Plus point: the plates were nicely laid out.

Mooie locatie en vriendelijke bediening. Echter de door ons gekozen vega wellington was een zompige deeghomp. Het blijkt dat deze wordt ingevroren en vervolgens bij afname wordt opgewarmd. Geen vers gerecht dus. Geen aanrader voor hen die een vegetarisch gerecht willen.

We discovered this restaurant after we came out of the sauna in Zuidwolde. Now we normally come there when we have been to the sauna, but if we are in the area we are also happy to grab a table. Super tasty food, good staff and the atmosphere is great. See you again soon

I had read the reviews so I thought it must be good. Good menu, nice restaurant inside. Lots of older visitors, lots of walkers inside. I thought the food was really mediocre. My friend had spare ribs which were fine. But I had Carpaccio salad, which was not good. Never had such thick carpaccio anywhere before. Tip; Go to a good steak restaurant, so that it comes at least somewhat close to what it should be. I was also missing a bit of dressing or so now there was only some pesto on it. The fries that came with it were also not tasty, just not left in the fryer long enough. Our plates were still quite full when we left the restaurant, which is a real shame!

Have been there one evening and Everything was wonderful , nice waiter and good food on a friday evening , the next evening there was a Lady who see us and says there are fully booked , Not very friendly to the quests , there is always a Solution , Maybe it is important to say that we were a couple with a dog , the complaining belongs to the Lady who has such an terrible attitude . So sorry for the other waiter who have been wonderful.

Leuk restaurant, vriendelijke meid die hielp, lekkere koffie en appeltaart op. Ik kwam hier omdat ik overweeg om hier te gaan wonen, binnenkort ga ik er weer heen, maar dan eten..

Vriendelijk maar geen service, radio stond (voor ons) te hard, werd na verzoek net iets zachter gezet maar zachter kon niet hoor.. Vroeg bij de lunch een glas kraanwater, ook dit kon niet, alleen bij wijn ofzo... We hadden eerst koffie/thee gedronken, daarna dus gelunchd en nog wat fris besteld. De kroketten met brood/friet waren prima maar helaas geen service maar dit met wel een glimlach...

Mischien had de kok een slechte dag. Schnitzel slap en met rauwe ui . Smaakloze aardappelpuree. Droge wijn was zoet. Duur en slecht gegeten . Jammer.

Goed personeel, fijne ambiance, waar voor je geld met heerlijke borrel- of snaaiplank, betaalbare heerlijke speciaalbieren bijvoorbeeld de Rochefort 10. Je zou wel gek zijn als je dit links laat liggen.

Aanrader is de carpaccio. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Wij hebben hier een week geleden heerlijk gegeten met onze familie tijdens de familie reunie. Gezellig restaurant met uitgebreide en smakelijke kaart en vriendelijke bediening.

Niet de prijs wat je in Drenthe verwacht maar toch wel lekker. Spareribs zouden zelfs zowat zonder gebit gegeten kunnen worden, heerlijk gaar.

Gewoon goed. We komen nogeens terug.

Prima plek voor een goede lunch. De 12 uurtje was erg goed, zeer lekker brood. De warme kip filet was goed op smaak gebracht en de koket was goedgevuld. Er zat mosterd bij, als ook voor mayonaise gekozen kon worden, zou deze beoordeling mogelijk een 5e ster gekregen hebben.

Al 20 jaar wonen we in de buurt nooit geweest zonde. Geen hippe tent maar wel sfeervol. Erg prettige bediening, lekker kaart met oa heerlijke salades. Goede witte wijn en koffie. Mooi terras in het zonnetje. Voor “makkelijke” lunch of lekkere steak in de avond leuk adresje gevonden. Nogmaals de bediening is erg prettig

Ik heb hier nu twee keer gegeten en dat is goed bevallen. Het is er gemoedelijk, het eten smaakt heerlijk en de bediening is vriendelijk.

Geweldig restaurant. Met 17 personen gegeten. Iedereen had gelijk het eten. Dit eten was meer dan uitstekend. Zeer goed van smaak en voldoende. De bediening was goed.
