Nice places to eat, tasty cappuccino

We have eaten here several times before, and last night my father celebrated his birthday here with dinner. We had a delicious meal and the service was very good. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

Great food, nice restaurant, great staff. Any downsides? Actually, only one. Those menu cards were really grubby. I would definitely do something about that. Otherwise, nothing but praise.

Ate here last night. Nice full terrace. The food was good, except for the lemon ice cream cake with Licor 43, which really wasn't tasty. There was absolutely no lemon or liqueur flavor to be found. The wait staff's reaction to my comment about this was downright disappointing. 'We only hear good things about this place.' Perhaps it would be better not to ask the question: did everything taste good? if you don't want an honest answer.

I was in Zuidwolde for work for a week. And I was able to sit on the terrace every afternoon for a bit. I received really great service from the amazing staff, who make the service truly personal and much more relaxed than the hospitality establishments in the greater Randstad. Very good lunch. Simply top-notch!!

Despite the crowds on the terrace, the taste of the schnitzel was disappointing: dry, tough, and with minimal side dishes in terms of fries and salad. The service wasn't having its best day either; hopefully, it will be improved on the next visit.

The atmosphere was good, the decor nice, and the servers friendly! Unfortunately, I found the food very disappointing... the price-to-food ratio was poor... Had a 3-course meal for 2 people for 114.- Did not expect my Eton Mess dessert to be sour (which is why I unfortunately left it untouched); we will not be going there again.

We discovered this restaurant after returning from the sauna in Zuidwolde. Now we always go there after a sauna visit, but we also like to grab a table when we're in the area. The quality is incredibly consistent. That's why the spareribs are always a joy to eat, so tender and perfectly seasoned. You don't need any sauces at all. Super tasty and good food, great staff, and the atmosphere is fantastic. See you soon!

The five of us dined at Zuudwoldiger Huuskamer, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were well looked after. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, just what you want for a relaxing evening out. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, attentive service

Well, that wasn't easy. I think the chef's onion soup came from a can, and the chef himself had added some spring onions. A piece of bread with foamy herb butter was served instead of bread with cheese and baked in the oven. The schnitzel with onion, bacon, and mushrooms was tasteless. How can a chef manage that? The fried potatoes were almost black. The sprouts were overcooked. The fries were okay. The raw vegetables weren't fresh either. A very mediocre kitchen, but the service was very friendly.

The service was really good, and so was the food. What we did find disappointing was the music choice. We felt it didn't really suit the type of restaurant, but more suited to a cafeteria or something. Atmospheric music is also part of the experience you want to create as a restaurant. And this one (for me) didn't quite fit. But otherwise...a great restaurant.

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT THERE. I have absolutely nothing to complain about this excellent restaurant. They are friendly, sociable, fun, kind, and spontaneous. They are enthusiastic and want to help people well, offering them food and drinks and occasionally a chat when possible. They communicate well with both customers and their colleagues. That's really wonderful to see and feel, and they also laugh a lot together, which is a must.

The food was very tasty, but they took our food away even though we definitely hadn't finished eating, just had a cigarette. That was a real shame, and we weren't compensated for it.

Just down-to-earth coziness and very hospitable and friendly service. We had starter, main course and dessert and it was all delicious. They take various diets and allergies into account. Spacious terrace and parking is possible next to the terrace or at the town hall, also free. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Nice terrace for a nice drink under the large parasols. It's a shame that they have a small parking lot for visitors on bicycles. Cars park with their bumpers almost on the terrace. Just create more bicycle spaces and 2 fewer spaces for cars

Was very busy, no place on the terrace. Can happen. I sat down inside. After a while I was asked if I wanted to use something? Apple pie with whipped cream and coffee. The coffee was ok, the pastry came out of the freezer and was wet, the whipped cream and aerosol had "melted" in no time. No apple pie next time. The price was ok. Employees were friendly.

Very much enjoyed the game menu, just the way we like to eat it in the Ardennes or in France, delicious. And delicious dessert. Perhaps a bit limited in terms of wine selection. It is a noisy restaurant, but that is less disturbing if you sit in the conservatory. Service very nice.

Na een dagje fietsen waarbij we de Pulle dagen in Hoogeveen en Nystad hebben bezocht was het tijd om een happie te eten. Nou dit kan perfect bij de Huuskamer. Heerlijk biefstukje gehad, met groente, gemixte sla en frietjes. We konden er ook nog gebakken aardappelen bij krijgen maar friet was genoeg voor ons. Daarna genoten van een lekker dessert. Prijs was redelijk, kwaliteit prima. Kortom een aanrader.

Spare ribs were excellent (recommended!), but the pork tenderloin in 'mushroom sauce' was not in sauce but under a slab of dried sauce or something like that (with cheese, so they said). Meat overcooked and dry. Reaction to this led to a discussion in which people started talking about 'stews', boiling down, and that the dish was well prepared. And above all, we should not think that the dish was taken off the bill, which was not our intention. The pork tenderloin was not recommended, but worse was the difficulty in dealing with criticism!

Food was very disappointing. The schnitzel tasted bland, the mushrooms were limp and black, most of the fried potatoes were almost fried black and impossible to get through, the raw vegetables had a pink? color and you couldn't tell what it was. It was really very amateurish. Plus point: the plates were nicely laid out.

Mooie locatie en vriendelijke bediening. Echter de door ons gekozen vega wellington was een zompige deeghomp. Het blijkt dat deze wordt ingevroren en vervolgens bij afname wordt opgewarmd. Geen vers gerecht dus. Geen aanrader voor hen die een vegetarisch gerecht willen.

I had read the reviews so I thought it must be good. Good menu, nice restaurant inside. Lots of older visitors, lots of walkers inside. I thought the food was really mediocre. My friend had spare ribs which were fine. But I had Carpaccio salad, which was not good. Never had such thick carpaccio anywhere before. Tip; Go to a good steak restaurant, so that it comes at least somewhat close to what it should be. I was also missing a bit of dressing or so now there was only some pesto on it. The fries that came with it were also not tasty, just not left in the fryer long enough. Our plates were still quite full when we left the restaurant, which is a real shame!

Have been there one evening and Everything was wonderful , nice waiter and good food on a friday evening , the next evening there was a Lady who see us and says there are fully booked , Not very friendly to the quests , there is always a Solution , Maybe it is important to say that we were a couple with a dog , the complaining belongs to the Lady who has such an terrible attitude . So sorry for the other waiter who have been wonderful.

Leuk restaurant, vriendelijke meid die hielp, lekkere koffie en appeltaart op. Ik kwam hier omdat ik overweeg om hier te gaan wonen, binnenkort ga ik er weer heen, maar dan eten..

Vriendelijk maar geen service, radio stond (voor ons) te hard, werd na verzoek net iets zachter gezet maar zachter kon niet hoor.. Vroeg bij de lunch een glas kraanwater, ook dit kon niet, alleen bij wijn ofzo... We hadden eerst koffie/thee gedronken, daarna dus gelunchd en nog wat fris besteld. De kroketten met brood/friet waren prima maar helaas geen service maar dit met wel een glimlach...

No cream bull Lee things are really not possible Disappointed😔
