Great coffee. Friendly service. Food looked delicious too but we just had a coffee.

I had a relaxing and nourishing time for myself here. Matcha ice tea was an excellent blend of matcha, mango and milk. And the avocado toast was also so good and abundant ingredients. The service was fast and kind. Definitely will come again. ☺️

Best place in Leiden for coffee & food! Delicious flat whites and amazing breakfast and lunch. The terrace is super comfortable and also inside is plenty of space, with evens a special area for kids to play and parents to enjoy some peace. Staff is very fast and friendly. If I’d live in Leiden I would come here all the time! Also tried the iced matcha which seemed to be the current hit, and it was super tasty!

Delicious cappuccino, sandwich and toast had lots of arugula but were otherwise also tasty!

Great service, the waitress was smiling and friendly, extremely kind. The menu is varied for a quick coffee break or lunch. I recommend it.

one of my favourite coffee spots in Leiden, cute and cozy atmosphere, good coffee, very friendly staff too! Their matcha was a bit muted (compared to matcha in asia 😆) but the coffee was 10/10!

Delicious food in this nice place. Relaxing space, lots of light through the fully glass facade. Staff very friendly. Waiting time was long, but that was not due to the work pace... they worked very hard, but there were simply not enough people to make the order faster. The food made up for everything. What a delicious lunch the egg Benedict Norwegian is... perfectly poached eggs. Generously filled with delicious fresh bread. Nothing to complain about and certainly a reason to come back here!

30 ml in Leiden used to be one of my long-standing go-to places. I enjoyed the coffee, it had a good selection of food, and more importantly, a really nice kids corner at the back of the cafe. The kids corner is separated by steps from the main eating area and is never overly busy. This was until last Friday (29th November) when everything changed. I got a complaint from one of the staff members about breastfeeding in public. I was shocked beyond belief with a mixture of anger and disappointment. The situation arose when I needed to feed my child. We were sitting at the back next to the play area, with one other women sitting on the (only) sofa. There was a space next to her, and I asked if it was possible to sit down and feed. She said it was okay. I didn’t think twice, did my business, and got up again. On my way out, I was followed by a staff member. She informed me of the complaint. Apparently next time I needed to be more mindful as my breastfeeding apparently made the other lady on the sofa uncomfortable and that I disrespected her space. This was total nonsense. I don’t know what I am more angry about – women not support women, or the insensitively of the staff. Breastfeeding is a perfectly normal and legal thing to do. No women should ever feel embarrassed or shamed for how they choose to feed their children. Apparently, next time, I should inform the staff of my need to breastfeed. They will find me a more appropriate location to feed my child. What is more appropriate than the only sofa in the children section of a cafe? My oldest child was also quite upset by the snappy nature of the staff. Why have a kids section if, it seems, neither children or their parents are welcome? I would strongly suggest your staff undergo sensitively training in the future. I no longer feel welcome at your establishment. Yours disappointedly

Very nice cafe! I really enjoyed the iced matcha latte. Very friendly staff! Unfortunately they ran out of matcha croissant but the tuna melt saved the day! (could be a little less toasty, but what a delicious sandwich). Furthermore, a very pleasant atmosphere. Fortunately, it was nice and quiet when we arrived, so you could have a good lunch.

I ordered a Chai and a BLT with avocado. We had to wait a while, because everything was freshly made. And that was definitely worth the wait. The chai was delicious, I was told my own recipe. Best I've had so far. And then the BLT, everything... but EVERYTHING that came with it was correct. Delicious with a sriracha sauce and chili flakes. Very good. I just find the decoration of the restaurant very bare, minimal. But that's a personal taste. Thanks for all the goodies!

We kozen voor de “Deluxe pancakes” als ontbijt en kregen 4 veel te hard gebakken pancakes, een kleine lepel vanille-mascarpone met heel weinig smaak (vanille vergeten?), een paar druppeltjes lemon curd en 7 blauwe bessen. De honey cress die er volgens de menukaart ook bij moest lag niet op ons bord. Kortom: allemaal veel te droog en smaakloos!

Enjoyed a delicious meal salad and a delicious drink. There are many delicious things on the menu, so we will be back soon! Service very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended!

I love the coffee spots in Europe, but none of them have a mocha. This place has one and it is darn good. They have a very friendly staff and great venue. If you are in Leiden for the wonderful Saturday market, their shop is right in the heart of it. A nice place to stop.

Delicious coffee with free plant-based milk. The café is hiply decorated and the location is very good, you can also sit on the water. As a vegan there are unfortunately few options (avocado toast, vegan cheese sandwich and hummus sandwich), but the vegan cheese sandwich was very tasty!

I was here with my friend, we had rose matcha and levander latte and it was great. We were here on 27th July 2024, around 14 and all the girls working were amazing and friendly. I put this place on my “Come back” list. Loved it!

On a two week trip to the beautiful city of Leiden, we found this gem of a place and made it our brunch routine for at least 10 of the days! The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere right along the canal is lively yet relaxing. What stood out to us the most was the friendly staff. The customer service is wonderful, and is what made us want to return every day. If you are in Leiden, make sure you don’t miss this place!

Great spot to watch the world go by, especially on a Saturday with the market stalls in full swing. Recommend the toasted cheese sandwiches. Note, table service can be slow so not the place if you are in a hurry

The drinks are very tasty and hip. However, we had to wait half an hour for our drinks after we walked in ourselves because no one came to take our order. It wasn't busy at all, otherwise we would have understood.

Since March there has been a new owner with a big heart for the business! Delicious toast with avocado and poached egg. Good coffee and Chai Latte and friendly staff. Peak crowds with the Saturday market, but despite that we didn't have to wait long. Absolutely recommended!

Wonderful place to eat and drink! The coffee is tasty, but also enjoyed the chai latte. In addition, a nice place to go with your child, this has been thought of with a play corner, high chair and changing mat. So my son could sit at the table with us and enjoy himself.

Sat here this afternoon, after fifteen minutes of no one coming to our table to record anything, we walked to the bar. There were actually four tables or so and there were three waiters, so I don't quite understand why it had to take so long. When we left we didn't hear a bye or have a nice day, so the service really needs to learn the basic skills. Pancakes were really good, so compliments for that!

Nice ambiance here. Coffee was good. Not the best coffee ever but good enough. The hummus sandwich was really great though, worth a try! Coffee took a while to get there but it was resolved nicely.

The location is beautiful. My son enjoyed the pancakes and chocolate milk. I found the pancakes tasteless. The capuccino was tasty. Very expensive for not very good quality.

We ended up here on a Saturday market day for a coffee and something tasty Capucino for €4.5 was expensive but OK, piece of apple cake was tasty but not too big Then came the carrot cake… OK in taste but so small that you didn't have to accidentally sneeze or it would be gone. We spoke to the staff about this and they certainly understood us but said they could not do anything about it. In other words, you know you don't give enough, but you accept complaints and dissatisfied customers. Too bad and not smart, in any case we will never come back

Leuke zaak met heel vriendelijk personeel

Ga er regelmatig heen. Lekker eten, relaxte sfeer en vriendelijk personeel. Concept is dat je naar bar loopt en bestelt. Vind ik wel zo prettig, zit je ook niet te wachten, maar wordt je meteen geholpen. Eten wordt vers bereid, dat proef je ook. Aanrader.

Koffie en lunch waren prima; vrij lang moeten wachten op het eten.

Lekkere koffie. Maar we moesten er wel 30 minuten op wachten. Mooi ingericht van binnen.

Wij wilden ontbijten bij ROOS. Maar daar is op zondagmorgen om 10 u vol. En zo kwamen we bij 30ml terecht. Echt een leuk tentje met prima eten en drinken en een paar meiden die het heel leuk runnen. Kun je rustig naar toe gaan.

The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, but I gotta be honest, the filter coffee was kind of a letdown. It was seriously watered down, hardly any coffee flavor. Still, this place is in a rad spot right by the canal, so if you ever get the chance, definitely swing by.

Aardig personeel en leuke centrale plek in centrum. Beetje toe aan likje muurverf maar ziet er verder trendy groen uit. Koffie was top. De toast avocado was oké en lekker maar beetje saai. De prijs vind ik niet in verhouding voor 1 desemboterham en 1 avocado, ook niet bij de concurrent volgens mij. Jammer , misschien 1 eitje er bij of een extra boterham. Ik begrijp dat de prijzen zijn gestegen maar beetje uit balans.
