Service was very poor, lacked attention to the customer, We had to use the same plate for our meal we had used for our poppadoms. I am vegetarian and my food was not hot in temperature. It came on a sizzling hot plate, but unfortunately, the plate was only warm, Would i go again? Sadly no 👎

Food was ok. But something could really be done about the air in the restaurant. At one point all the people in the restaurant had to cough because of smoke-like smell that was stuck in our throats. Furthermore, the food came quickly, but explanation and friendliness could be better.

Paneer kofta hardly had only 2 kofta for 19.50 Eur. And completely sweet. Not worth for money. Add on lot of food color, visible in hands

I have been coming to 91 Spices for years and it is always a great experience! The food is always delicious, fresh and full of flavour. The dishes are prepared with care and the spices are perfectly matched. The service is always friendly and makes you feel welcome. Our absolute favorites are the Chicken Madras and the Butter Chicken – both dishes are truly a taste explosion! If you like Indian food, 91 Spices is definitely recommended. It is a place where you will happily return again and again

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Our first experience was mainly the taste explosions of herbs. It was so delicious we would love to eat there again. The butter chicken was my favorite.

Last Tuesday I went to 91 Spices for dinner with a friend. The Indian one is full of color and herbs and is deliciously spicy! As a starter we chose a mixed starter with samosas, chicken and lamb kebabs, wings🍗 and bhajis. Wonderful to taste a little bit of everything. Then we continued for the main course chicken jalfrezi and madras king prawn 🍤. Finally, dessert couldn't be missed and because we were enjoying the tasting, we opted for a grand dessert. Enjoy 😍

The food is very underwhelming. Ordered veg starters that were very oliy. The main course was cold. The paratha was not at all crispy and the chicken tikka masala tasted bad. The paneer kofta was just okay. For a place with such nice interiors, they really need to improve their food.

Waiting way too long. No one feels responsible for your table because you order via a tablet. That's fine in itself, but no one else comes by. No service at all. Had to leave the table several times to look for someone. Far too few staff. Too bad, because the food is tasty.

Lovely place, amazing servers and great service, good portions, one thing I had an issue with was small liquid sizes, but to be fair I was fasting today and probably craving more water than I need, but yeah I wished drink sizes were larger, I was thirsty .

Food was good but not amazing. Chicken biryani was more of a rice in tomato sauce and lacked spices and flavour. Everything else was great though. The system with ordering at the table with a tablet is cool, but then if you need something it is hard to get anyone's attention. Same with a bill had to flag someone to actually get a bill even when requested via the system 10 min earlier.

Ordered via Uber. 1h late but the staff was apparently reactive. The butter chicken tasted like plain tomato sauce, not special in any way but still enjoyable if hungry. Big portions.

We made the reservation in advance and got discount for early dinner. Ambience is nice. At first everything was okay. Veg starters platter can be improved(ism’t value for money). Didn’t like the cocktails also, rest of the food was okay. Then we ordered desserts and even after half an hour nobody returned with our order, then we asked about and only then thry came back saying they dont have it. So you didnt bother to inform us when order is placed, kept us waiting gor 30 mins and they didnt even apologized and were kind of rude.

I had high expectations for 91 Spices, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. While eating I found a piece of stone in my dish - something that should absolutely not happen in a restaurant. This not only completely ruined my appetite, but also my confidence in the hygiene and quality of the kitchen. Too bad, because the flavors seemed fine at first. No second time for me.

A little delay in delivery should be possible. But a 1.5 to 2 hour delay (compared to the announced delivery time) is not acceptable. But the worst part is that when you call to check on things, you just get the standard white lie: "your order left 5-10 minutes ago and will be with you in 5-10 minutes". They also pretend not to understand you and then hang up. In short, unprofessional.

Had a great meal with the voucher from socialdeal. For €24.50 a 3 course meal (without drinks) and we could take the rest home. In short, really value for money.

My first and last experience with 91spices, unfortunately. The food was okay, but the service was very very poor. We were looking forward to break our fast here so we made reservations for the iftar. There were only dates and water prepped on the table. No waiter came up to us to take our order/explain the menu. We had to wave 4-5 times and got her attention, however her reaction was quite irritated. There were other guests who came in later but got served earlier (and mind you, the iftar starters are the same for everyone). Eventually the different starter dishes were thrown on 1 plate and delivered to our table. Different dishes should have been served on different plates - just like they did for the other guests. I think the coffee and the bartender saved the day/evening. Because the coffee was good and I received the coffee just a few min after ordering.

Delicious food. Everything was fresh, not expensive and you get a lot of food. All dishes are super rich in taste. You have a lot of choice, including between vegetarian, meat and fish. The atmosphere was very cozy, even though it was a full tent, you still felt at home. I will definitely come back more often!

Food is really not well prepared. Shrimp intestinal tracts not removed. Plus chicken and shrimp are not washed, you can taste it.

The butter chicken was amazing, as was the naan bread! The samosa and onion rings were too dry. It's a pity that it is not clearly stated that you must order the front and head separately on the tablet. Now everything came at once.

Ordered food at 4:30 PM and received it at a quarter to 8. Really disappointed, the lady on the phone was supposed to refund the money and add extra snacks as compensation, but that never happened. They had also forgotten the drinks and the food arrived almost cold. Never here again unfortunately

Delicious food on Valentine's Day. It was busy but we were served well. Staff are friendly.

First things first: Ordered samosas, rajma, aloo bangain and butter chicken. The samosas were nice, and so was the chutney. The rest: It didn’t taste good, and the vegan dishes were extremely bland. Maybe a good place for people who like bland Indian food that isn’t spicy AT ALL. But as a South Asian person, it was very inauthentic and plain. I didn’t even end up finishing the food, and the aloo bangain was so bad I tossed it after two bites. Steer away if you’re looking for an authentic experience. Secondly: food took 2 hours to arrive from order time. UberEats said the restaurant made a mistake by setting their delivery options to ‘delivered by restaurant’ instead of through Uber itself. When I called the restaurant, they did rectify by making their employee deliver it - however no apologies were offered and it took an additional half hour. They are extremely unprofessional and defensive. Definitely will not be ordering or eating from here again. Overall not worth the hassle.

Bij binnenkomst komen de oriëntaalse geuren je tegemoet. De obers zijn vriendelijk en spreken Engels. Geen probleem in 010❣️Het tafeltje waar ik eerst zat, was wiebelig en voor Arjay was het geen probleem om een andere tafel klaar te maken. De bestellingen worden via de IPad gedaan. Heel digitaal! Vind ik persoonlijk jammer want ik hou wel van sociale interactie met het personeel. Ook daar was Arjay weer die zonder probleem mijn bestelling opnam (weliswaar zette hij het in de IPad ☺️) Ik had een deal via Trip en daarmee kreeg ik flinke korting. Desondanks is het eten in overvloed en krijg je een doggybag mee zodat je thuis nog kan nagenieten.

When the food arrived, the samosa and butter chicken had cooled down. I had to pop both in the microwave for a couple of minutes. The butter chicken was very good. I did not enjoy the samosa and mango lassie. If you order via Uber Eats, please bear in mind that they take a very long time to deliver your food. (I ordered my food at 4.00 and it did not arrive until after 6.00.) And, they do not update the tracker (estimated time of delivery) on the Uber Eats app. __________ Old review ⬇️ Ordered the butter chicken. Rice was included. The butter chicken was very tasty. The chicken was soft and tender. However, my curry also had a lot of chicken skin, bones and cartilage - which I did not like. If you are picking up a takeaway, do not use the main entrance (which leads to the restaurant). Instead take the same door as the delivery men.

For online orders, take into account a very long waiting time. Recently placed an order via Uber eats at 5:20 PM and the order arrived at 7:30 PM. I called but did not receive a response. Fortunately, the food was hot and tasty, but such a long delivery time is not customer friendly.

Ate at 91 Spices today and I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is cozy, the service is helpful if you don't know what is in the dishes and the food tastes really good. What was really unusually delicious was the Rogan Josh Lamb and it was wonderfully tender with a rich, spicy sauce. Highly recommended if you like lamb! I also tried the Mango Lassi and it was perfect – nice and creamy and refreshing. Nice to cool down after a spicy meal. Everything was tasty but the above really stood out. All in all a great experience, I will definitely come back here again!

Heerlijk Indiaas eten bij 91 Spices! Laatst bij 91 Spices gegeten en ik was aangenaam verrast! De sfeer is cozy, de bediening behulpzaam voor als je niet goed weet wat in de gerechten zit en het eten echt goed op smaak. Wat echt abnormaal lekker was, was de Rogan Josh Lams en die was heerlijk mals met een rijke, kruidige saus. Echt een aanrader als je van lamsvlees houdt! Daarnaast heb ik de Mango Lassi geprobeerd en die was perfect – lekker romig en verfrissend. Fijn om mee af te koelen na een kruidige maaltijd. Alles was smakelijk maar het bovenstaande stak echt uit. Al met al een super ervaring, ik kom hier zeker nog eens terug!

The concept that you order food here with the iPad is fine. But it seems that this has made the staff extra lazy. When we enter, they do not walk us neatly to our table. The plates were dirty but we couldn't get the attention of the staff. And when paying no one came to our table. After 20 minutes we walked to Bali ourselves, but there too we were completely ignored. The food here is fine, but the staff is just so bad and unfriendly that I would rather not come back here.

Eten was lekker en sfeer was gezellig! We kregen het eten optijd en hoefde niet lang te wachten. Ik vond het lekker maar voor sommige in mijn gezin mocht het iets pittiger, daar kregen we een los sausje voor. Enige was dat parkeren beetje ver was in het vieze weer.

Had dinner with our friends. We ordered drinks, a starter and a main. The starter came first, then rather fast a main was served and the drinks never arrived, despite multiple reminders to the staff. It took 45 minutes for the staff to realise that we are missing our drinks , and then (without apologising ) they decided to give us those drinks for free after we mentioned we want to cancel our drinks order. Even then , they brought us 2 cocktails we ordered and did not bring a bottle of water and tea , so we had to remind them again. Terrible, terrible and impolite attitude and service. Food was okay.

Food was really amazing, but the staff? Nobody was smiling, when we asked for the bill through the tablets on tables, we are still waiting (25 minutes already) It is not that busy to have to wait for that long time, the waiters are cleaning the tables instead of helping customers, even if they see that they are waiting for something…. Cold reception. We checked that there were tables available on the site but it told us that there was no place without a reservation.

The feeling I had was that all the dishes had the same seasoning, some dishes were spicier than others. The meats were tasty, but it was hard to tell the difference between the flavor and the type of meat you were eating, because the spicy seasonings were quite noticeable. We also ordered vegetables and they were extremely spicy, after the first bite I couldn't eat any more. The famous mango drink disappointed me, it looks like a thick frozen mango smoothie with yogurt, it doesn't have much flavor. Overall it's an interesting experience if you're curious about Indian cuisine.

The food is ok, but the service is really terrible. We walked in and were immediately sent outside even though we had made a reservation. Finally after explaining it we were allowed to stay. Then other guests were snubbed. Definitely wouldn't recommend it even though the food isn't bad.

Gravel atmosphere. A very spacious case. The food was tasty, but after the starters I was already full. I thought they were well priced and it was a lot. They use a tablet that you can use to order. That feels very progressive, but some orders did not get through to us. It is precisely because of the use of this system that there are few staff in the business. I also thought they were very young and inexperienced with little regard for the guests. We waited a long time for the bill and the waitresses didn't look around, probably because they expected everything to be processed via the tablets.

Yesterday, on Boxing Day, I had a delicious vegan meal, including a delicious vegan cheesecake, which is not normally on the menu (I did indicate during the reservation that I would like to eat vegan, but what a service!). The friend I was there with does not eat vegan and she also enjoyed it. We have both been to 91 Spices before and had a very good meal there too. The service was also very friendly and nothing seemed too much for them. We will eat there often in the future. Absolutely recommended!!

This time the service was very good, quick and friendly. We enjoyed the food. The only remark we still have that it is a pity that there are no hot plates so the second and third helping were luke warm and cold. A pity. It was busy in Spices even though it was a monday.

Ik kwam dit plekje tegen en het trok mijn aandacht. We hebben heel makkelijk een reservering kunnen maken en waren direct bij aankomst erg enthousiast. Wat ziet het er prachtig uit van binnen. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk ook kindvriendelijk. Mijn zoon (3) heeft de avond van z'n leven gehad omdat het personeel met hem ging kletsen etc. We hadden een vooraf besteld maar als je gewoon een normale of kleine eter bent doe dat dan niet. Want echt d porties zijn meer dan genoeg en je wilt echt ruimte overhouden als het lukt voor hun handgemaakte toetjes hoor. Kortom een geslaagde avond en fantastisch gegeten. This is the best Indian restaurant in Rotterdam and surrounding areas!! What a delicious meal we had here. We started with a starter, but honestly, the portions of the main course are really fine or even large, so if you want a dessert... Which is definitely recommended, don't order a starter haha... Unless you are a big eater of course. . My favorite dishes are the naan bread with garlic, the tikka masala and the homemade brownie!! The staff is also very friendly towards children. High chairs are also available. The atmosphere and the restaurant are really great.

Right in the centre of the city is the best Indian restaurant in Rotterdam! As a lover of Indian food it hit the spot We started off with some tasty poppadoms and yoghurt sauce and then the Samosas, which were delicious! For main we had the Vegetarian tasting menu for two people which included, Paneer, Korma, Aloo Gobi with Aubergine, Vegetable Biryani, Rice and Naan! Big portions bursting with flavour. We was super full so didn't have a chance to explore dessert. The service was attentive but not overbearing and the atmosphere was cozy. We cant wait to return!

The food here is very delicious. Service is quick and friendly. Ordering is very convenient using the tablet system. Ambience inside is also great! We ordered a curry tasting variety and every dish was an absolute banger! Also had appetizers and the samosa's are really great. If you like curry with coconut, the kerala prawns are an absolute recommendation. Would definitely recommend and would definitely revisit 91 spices again, 10/10 heerlie de peerlie.

I am very disappointed in the price-quality ratio of the food. But that was the worst thing for me. Go out to dinner with the team of 8 people and then have a discussion from the manager or team management at the end of the evening about "fresh tea" which was ordered by 2 people and they indicated where the tea was because they needed hot water and a piece of ginger. and got a piece of lemon that was fresh lemon tea and ginger tea. So they asked for tea bags. That was possible, but you had to pay extra for it. What a rude and unprofessional lady who was in charge of the restaurant. She kept repeating that I had to listen to what she wanted to explain about how fresh tea was made in their home and I wanted to end the discussion but she kept ranting and repeating about the tea. What a terrible experience, never again and not recommended to anyone. How on earth can you have a discussion about a tea bag with customers of 8 people? At checkout they charged €6.40 for the tea bags. I kindly asked them to take this off, especially if I paid €450 for an evening of dinner with the team. I'm so done with this tent!!!! And especially that lady, she really needs to do something different because she is completely missing the point!

Restaurant charged 1 extra dish even though it was never ordered. I informed them by email that I paid 18.50 too much and whether they wanted to refund this amount, but have not received a response so far. I don't think this is very customer friendly.

It is a beautiful Indian restaurant from which a wide variety of tasty dishes can be chosen. The mango lassie was delicious, the starters were great and large, some thought this was all they got to eat. The main courses were a feast for the eyes and tongue. I had a great evening and will definitely come back.
