The quality is on par with the price at this restaurant: Very Low! A sticky microwaved bara with a rubbery texture, tastes awful with that dry chicken fillet in it!

I ordered roti, and it came with broccoli, bell pepper, bean sprouts, and green beans instead of long beans. Everything was in some kind of wet red sauce, no masala, and instead of sambal, there was some kind of sad chili oil for both of us, which wasn't even enough for one of us. If you like Surinamese cuisine and roti, don't order from A-One!

Great food and nice sized portions. The place is more like a snack bar, but takeout is quick and always friendly.

The rotis are always very good, the lamb and chicken roti were very tasty, good portions and neatly delivered.

I'm from Suriname, and I don't think the food is good by Surinamese standards! I'd experienced it before, but due to a lack of time, I finally popped in after years for a portion of moksi metti with tjauw min. The roasted chicken was juicy, but the skin was slightly burnt. The sauce was just a ready-made ketjap, in my opinion. It didn't resemble a moksi sauce at all! The tjauw min and beans were tasteless. The clientele is predominantly Dutch, so they'll probably enjoy it... Eating inside in the winter is as cold as sitting outside!! I'm giving an extra star because I see these people work hard. I simply recommend tasting your own food every now and then. The feedback from other customers should also be taken seriously. Roti should be served with masala chicken—not sweet and sour chicken, as I often read. Network with Surinamese-Hindustani people so they can help you with a tasty recipe to improve your roti. Check out "Surinaams Eethuis Moksi" in the center of Leiden. They serve delicious moksi meti with their special moksi sauce. Many Surinamese-Chinese restaurants serve this moksi sauce with their moksi metti. I'd love to help make some improvements, but unfortunately, I'm abroad until the end of May.

Fawaka with that roti? Why is it sweet?!?!?! Looks like it has anise in it or something 😭 We ended up ordering somewhere else.

Got two portions of nasi goreng and babi ketjap for two people. It was enough for 4 people and very tasty. Will definitely do this more often.

Received terrible lukewarm and cold food. If you want good food, you better go somewhere else. By the way, very poor price/quality ratio. Getsie.

Extremely bad roti. Instead of curry you get old chicken with sweet and sour sauce. I can't imagine Surinamese cooking here. Truly the worst roti ever had.

This is the worst food I have ever had seriously do not waste your money the food taste so bad soup is way to salty,could not finish anything all was thrown in the Bin.

Advertising with 20-45 minutes delivery but immediately turning it into an hour? That's lying.

Recommended, very tasty!! Quality and good portion for a great price. Super nice and service-oriented. We eat in the shop/shop, there are 3 tables and some stools. Most people order from Thuisbezorgd, they have a lot of orders.

Very disappointing in my opinion! Order rotti lamb, it should also contain long beans. Instead of a spicy lamb curry with long beans, I got something that no longer tasted like lamb in some tomato-like sauce, not long beans but green beans. And as sambal a kind of sambal oelek instead of a Surinamese sambal Overall edible but not what you want.

Roti with chicken fillet was really inedible, didn't taste like chicken, waste meat, potato was also downright nasty and tasteless. Highly recommended, after 2 bites it was in the trash.

Ik haal hier al jaren roti. Ik vind de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding echt supergoed! Het kan misschien iets kruidiger, maar voor deze prijs echt prima. En kwantiteit ook; mijn vriend en ik hebben genoeg aan 1 bak samen met wat loempia's. Ook heel vriendelijk personeel.

De broodjes bakkeljauw zijn heerlijk, je kunt er niet zo maar één eten 😋

Al jaren klant maar afgelopen tijd een keer afgehaald en een keer besteld maar kwaliteit en smaak wordt steeds minder,helaas niet meer wat 't is geweest.

Vriendelijke personeel en bezorgers, wordt heel snel geleverd, meestal binnen 20 min (ik woon in de buurt). Bij het afhalen snel klaar gemaakt. Lekker, en uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Betrouwbare scherm die personeel en klanten onderscheidt, desinfectie gel voor de klanten, de dame die daar werkt gebruikt het zelf ook vaak, heb ik gezien. De deur naar buiten is altijd geopend. Dit alles samen maakt kans om hier coronavirus tegen te komen vrijwel nihil. Ik persoonlijk vind het zeer belangrijk.

Deze plek is precies wat het moet zijn. Heerlijke Surinaamse en Chinese gerechten voor een redelijke prijs. Bediening is vriendelijk en snel

Net hier gegeten. Eten was heerlijk en je krijgt echt veel voor die prijs. Service was ook super.

Ik lunch regelmatig bij A One. De broodjes zijn lekker en betaalbaar. Mijn favorieten zijn kerrie-ei, bakkeljauw en spek!

Lekkere Chinees/toko, die sambal die ze zelf maken daar smeer ik mezelf het liefst mee in.

Veel variatie waardoor je genoeg lekkere keuze heb. Altijd tevreden als ik hier heb gehaald. Vooral de Rames valt erg in de smaak.

Roti Kip besteld, was ik niet erg over te spreken (erg zoet). De zaak zag er verder wel schoon uit.

Eten is lekker, maar bezorging laatste keer zwaar onder de maat.....na een dik uur nog steeds niets.

Eerder gehaald en dat viel een beetje tegen. Nu alleen maar roti gehaald. Het is veel maar vooral aardappelen en heel veel boontjes. Kip en vlees beperkt. Smaakt op zich redelijk, maar zeker niet bijzonder. Kip is wat droog. Voor eem keertje snelle hap, prima,maar daar zou ik het bij laten.

Weer heerlijk gegeten met me dochtertje. Ze is gek op jullie Roti, lekker zoet en lekker met haar handjes eten🤗

De broodjes met spek zijn heel erg lekker

Do not be turned off by the uninspired name. Has excellent light buttery roti.
