Pipa Streetfood Bar in Binnenstad-Noord

Nice cocktail bar with loads of potential (8€ cocktails on wed & thurs) and one of the girls was super friendly! but the service in general was extremely slow. It took almost 30 mins for them to prepare our cocktails? They also had a few missing ingredients..

I don't think I've ever experienced such disinterested service. We came here for a drink and were practically ignored. It was as if the girls working here needed to go to the dentist for 20 root canals. My advice: just move on to another place.

We sometimes have cocktails here, and they're delicious. The menu changes regularly and is seasonal. There's a hip atmosphere, and the music is great. A bit of a 70s and 80s vibe. It's not very big inside, so it can get quite noisy at times.

Several things were amiss: * Poor service; it took a very long time for someone to come and take our order. * It then took 20-25 minutes to get our drinks, and they weren't even all good: one person ordered a mocktail but received a cocktail, one mojito had no mint and was very sour (also had no sugar), and there was a beer glass that had cinnamon in it (?). * We asked for the snack menu around 9:20 PM, which we received after 5 minutes, but it then took over 15 minutes for them to come and take our order. By the time we ordered, it turned out the ovens were already off, so we couldn't get half of our order. If the waiter had come earlier to take our order, it might have been possible. So, they promise something they can't keep. * Also, the empty glasses were left on the table for ages, and the staff didn't take them away when they came by to take their drink orders (which only happened three times in three hours). As a cocktail bar, I think you should at least have the cocktails and service right, which isn't the case. I won't be going back.

The restaurant seemed really understaffed, food took ages. Waited for 40 minutes and left, the food still had not come.

Relaxt cocktailbar with nice sunny terrace. Went twice on a Thursday after 4pm and had our cocktails for 8 euros each (normally priced for 11). Staff checking in regularly to reconfirm your glass is not empty.

I recently ate here. I was under the impression that, in addition to the Bites menu on the website, there would also be a dinner menu. Judging by the photos in the reviews, there wasn't one, but that's obviously a mistake on my part. I did order nachos, which were delicious. The cocktails were also very good. When I arrived for dinner, it was very quiet; there were four other people besides me and my girlfriend. However, the service was slow. It took a long time to get a cocktail, and an empty cocktail was collected. After a long wait, we were able to place an order, but our empty cocktail glasses weren't taken away. Such a shame; perhaps the staff was tired. I'll definitely be back for another try.

Top location with interesting cuisine. The table service was as low as you can get. Almost nobody to serve but it took almost 15 min to get a beer

Found the food very disappointing. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the money. In my opinion the food was mainly tasteless and stiff.

I ordered Nojito, not mojito… the drink itself had a very bitter taste! Not at all what I know of as a mojito without alcohol. It was in very bad taste, the ticket said 11 euros instead of 8 euros!?!

Such a great variety of flavors! Loved the sharing plates and the cocktails are delicious!

We sat down at a table for 4. First of all, it took a very long time before an employee came to help us, we even had to ask for it. The first employee we asked, a gentleman with a mullet haircut, barely looked at us and responded quite bluntly. Someone wanted to order an alcoholic drink and an ID was requested, which is logical of course. However, she did not have her ID with her. She indicated that she had a photo of her ID, but the staff responded with a snarl, “that's not enough!”. With this treatment from the service upon entering, we immediately decided to leave.

Nice bar for a break from shopping. Great view outside. Friendly, friendly service. Everyone speaks English very well.

Taste food, but very small portions

Tonight we had a delicious meal and, above all, relaxed at Pipa. Very nice tent with quick and friendly staff. Toppers!

Fijn terras, altijd plek aan de zijde van de molen. Vriendelijk personeel. Prima gerechten, niet standaard. Makkelijk met QR code bestellen en betalen.

Takes too long for a large group and little alcohol in cocktails. Food tasted good, but a large group could not choose the dishes themselves.

Fantastic cocktails, compliments to the staff! Would definitely come again, as the prices are very reasonable as well.

Die Location ist modern und central. Die Preise sind in durchschnittlich. Die Cocktails waren von gut bis sehr schlecht zu bewerten. Die männliche Bedienung war unfreundlich. Die Sauberkeit war negativ.

I am now coming here for the 2nd time with colleagues and once again it was very good. The food is surprisingly tasty with plenty of nice choices, even for the vegetarian in our group. The service was also very nice, we were helped kindly and patiently. Nice cocktails too. I will definitely come back again!

I love this place! The vibe is great, the waitress literally paid us a compliment, and the cocktails are fantastic! Highly recommend this place for a cute night out :D

Another delicious meal at Pipa's! And this time the new menu. I can really give the chef a big compliment. All shared dining dishes are really made with care. My favorites remain the Eastern-oriented dishes. AND don't forget the cocktails!

The food was delicious, but far too little for the price you paid. Really not in balance between price and quantity!

Unfortunately, the Streetfoot and the Bites really didn't convince me... The service, as I think in Holland, is quite accommodating and friendly.

We werden gisteren keurig naar een knus hoekje begeleid en het minibordje met de gastennaam erop gaf meteen een gevoel van warm welkom à la Casa Lolea Barcelona. En niet alleen dat! In een volgeboekte en leuke ambiance genoten we, als goedgehumeurde dames van middelbare leeftijd  en zichtbaar ook alle jonge mensen om ons heen, van een gezellige bijpraat, de vriendelijke bediening en bovenal het heerlijke eten. O.a. de frisse noodle-salade als een van de shared dining voorgerechten: verrukkelijk! Joey, Nina en helemaal dé chefs van de keuken: nogmaals dank! De volgende keer nemen we onze partners mee maar eerst sturen we de kinderen 

Deze streetfood bar deed mee aan de wijn en spijs wandeling in Leiden. Eigenlijk paste Pipa niet in deze tour. We kregen een soort van hartig pannenkoekje met een dip...... helaas met afstand de minste in de wandeling. En inderdaad met een hoog bar gehalte.

Delicious food, a lot of noise, hahaha, but very enjoyable

Loved it! Everything was great. Can't wait to go back. They could have used one more worker but it was fine.

Snelle lunch gedaan. Bij Pipa kies je kleine gerechtjes om te delen, ook bij de lunch. Op een redelijk Aziatisch georiënteerde kaart kies je uit Food to share, Bites of een 3 gangen verrassingsmenu. Wij namen de maissoep; lekker romig, beetje pittig en kerriesmaak, beetje feta erin, lekker. De Buchimgae, Koreaanse pannenkoekjes (3 stuks; lastig delen) op een bedje van sla. Lauwwarm, de Koreaanse guchuang mayonaise geeft er een fijne smaak aan. De vegetarische gyoza waren heerlijk. De nabanzuke (soort kibbeling) was echter verrassend koud. Bij navraag bleek dat de bedoeling, wij vonden deze wijze iets te veel afwijken van wat he gewend zijn (‘normale’ kibbeling). Fijne vlotte bediening, prima gegeten.

Nice varied food. Flavors are really special and really delicious.

The soup was cold and took a very long time to heat up, so our second course also arrived late. But everything tasted delicious and the service was friendly.

We went for the high-cocktail. Really good price, 3 cocktails and 3 rounds of bites for 35 euros. The staff was very friendly. Even though it was busy and slightly understaffed the waitress spent the time to make our visit memorablem we'll be back!

Nice place by the water if you want to change the scenery and escape the busy streets of Leiden. I personally like the location, it's beautiful in spring and summer. Visited with a friend and since we didn't have much time, we ordered just a regular beer but enjoyed it so much. Service was good, atmosphere too. Haven't tried the food. It wasn't the first and not the last visit.

Eten smaakt goed. Leuk shared dining. Service was wel oké maar beter meegemaakt. Ze hebben alleen ipv de chorizo de garnalen kroket geserveerd, terwijl ons gezelschap heel duidelijk had aangegeven een zwanger te hebben, en die mogen echt geen garnalen eten, wat door deze fout wel is gebeurd aangezien je niet ziet wat het is tot je het eet. Na het doorgeven, helaas geen extra stap gezet om het goed te maken wat ik wel bij zo een fout zou verwachten.

Leuke tent, uitgebreide cocktailkaart en leuke ambiance. Toch had het op een aantal punten beter gekund: 1. Het duurde echt (te) lang voordat we eten kregen. 18:45 gereserveerd en pas om 19:45 voorgerecht op tafel. Ook niet iets van broodjes ofzo vooraf. Mensen werden knorrig en ongeduldig door de honger. 2. Bij hoofdgerecht werd niet uitgelegd wat wat was. Iemand die geen champignon lustte kreeg dit wel in een gerecht. Het was prettig geweest als het was uitgelegd, dan had dat voorkomen kunnen worden. Wel werd er goed rekening gehouden met de gast die geen gluten mocht. 3. Weinig aanbod voor de vegetariërs. Vega shoarma en nacho's. Daar had meer ingezeten qua creativiteit en aanbod. Al met al: best leuk, maar met een paar kleine verbeteringen had de score hoger kunnen zijn!

Nice little place to sit and drink. Good apps.

Pipa platter besteld (2p). Leuke variatie. Vooral de springrolls waren erg lekker.

Draussen ist es im Sommer sehr gemütlich! Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und es gibt niederländische sowie asiatische Snacks auf der Dinnerkarte abends sowie bei den Bites tagsüber. Guter Ort, um sich ein wenig zu entspannen!

De high tea was totaal anders dan verwacht, maar heerlijk. Het is wel belangrijk dat je van oosters/aziatisch eten houdt. Ook de zoete hapjes waren erg lekker, het was goed in balans. Mooie inrichting.

Leuke zaak in Leiden. Interessante kaart en dito bediening. Het eten was prima al kunnen de gerechten hoger op smaak.

Echt heel heul goed gegeten, ze hebben vanalles. We hadden 12 dingen met z'n zessen en dat was een goeie hoeveelheid en eigenlijk alles was lekker. Het concept van tapas-grootte gerechtjes die je kunt delen vind ik ook heel leuk (maar als je dat niks vindt, is het natuurlijk niet verplicht). Ik kom er graag nog eens een keer terug.

Gezellige zaak waar men lekkere hapjes kan eten. Ook een aanrader zijn de cocktails aan schappelijke prijzen. Woensdag en donderdag van 15h en zaterdags tussen 9h en 11h zijn alle cocktails aan 8 euro. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en er is ook een gezellig terras.

Heerlijk gegeten en de bediening was super!!

Vega burger viel een beetje tegen. Had meer op een echte vlees ervaring gehoopt. Verder locatie en bediening goed. Maar de reactie van de eigenaar maakt een hoop goed. sterretje extra !

Tolle Auswahl an Cocktails, freundliche Bedienung, man kann schön draußen sitzen. Tolle Aussicht.

Leuke locatie, wel een krap terrasje. Aangeboden gerechten waren heerlijk en redelijk geprijsd.

Man kann hier direkt am Tisch bestellen. Direkt über einen QR Code kann man hier über die Website bestellen und muss direkt bezahlen (zum Beispiel über Kreditkarte). Man kann draußen direkt am Spielplatz sitzen, die Windmühle angucken und dort gemütlich einen Kaffee trinken.
