We have had a falafel sandwich here a few times now, and every time it is a taste explosion. The falafel is freshly made for you from ground chickpeas and is crispy and wonderfully seasoned. The toppings are always super fresh and you can put as much as you want. What makes this place extra special is the owner. He is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel welcome. His attention to preparation and warm service complete the experience. Highly recommended!

I became curious after those reviews. Got a meal that included 'falafel' and thought about my sandwich at the market on Saturday that was 10x better. Had been walking past it for years so it was about time. Can't say anything else. Everyone has already written it and it is correct. Best falafel sandwich by far, nice and fresh and the green homemade grape sauce is very tasty. I'm going to try the rest now if I can give up the falafel for once, which will be quite difficult. Now I'm feeling excited again even though I just ate 👍

Best falafel I ever had. I live close to the market so I usually go there. Fresh falafel made in front of you, crunchy outside and delicious and soft inside. The bread that goes with it is also amazing. The owner prepares it with so much care and love. I really like as well the lentils&rice soup and the samosas. I 100% recommend it, the quality is amazing.

Sehr leckere Falafel. Es ist total toll, dass man sich die einzelnen Zutaten wie Saucen und verschiedene Gemüsesorten selbst nehmen kann. Die drei verschiedene Saucen (Knoblauch, Mango und Spicy) sind alle sehr lecker. Der Inhaber ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat alle Falafelbrötchen beschriftet, sodass wir zu viert sie nicht verwechseln konnten auf dem Weg zu unserem Boot.

Great food, especially for the price! Went there with a friend and we ended up paying 8€ for two Falafel-breads and 2,50€ for six delicious Samosas. I highly recommend paying him a visit and seeing the local market aswell.

Heerlijk broodje falafel! Vriendelijke eigenaar en goed te betalen. Een lunch halen bij Abo Sima is dus zeker een aanrader. De falafel wordt vers gemaakt terwijl je aan het wachten bent.

Wat een lieve familie , een klant had een soep laten vallen , heel lief en netjes opgelost door meneer. En naar alle klanten warm en vriendelijk. En toen thuis mijn eten proeven , ook dat… wauw ,1 van de lekkerste falafel ooit en ik eet er heel wat. Knoflooksaus heerlijk en ook de soep , ik heb genoten , heel erg bedankt.

Absolutely delicious food! I had the soup,samosas and falafel for only €9.50. Must be the best value place you can eat in Amsterdam. Can't wait to go back tomorrow. You must visit this place if you happen to be in the area.
