I always get a shaorma wrap with hummus as a side dish. Everytime I am filled with joy and ecstasy of eating delicious food. I always leave happy and full. Portions are big and full of delicious components. I would recommend Lila to everyone!

The restaurant is excellent and the food is good. We ordered a delicious meat shawarma with chicken, and a kebab dish that comes with two pieces of kebab with salad, potatoes, hummus, onions, and two pieces of shawarma bread, which is tastier than kebab.

The guy who works there “ the one in their video advertising “ is super aggressive! When we interned the restaurant he was fighting with another customer, and after we ordered he have such an aggressive conversation with us! He put in our sandwiches things we don’t want like onion and garlic and when we told him we can’t eat that, het started shouting and throw our sandwich’s and start saying that’s the food if you don’t want I can’t do anything for you! His coworker started calming him down but the atmosphere stayed super wierd and full of aggression.

Everything was fresh but just didn’t taste good. Falafal was okay but the fries were soggy, hummus so tasteless and the entire plate just felt really dry.

I don't know where these opinions come from, the food only looks good in the picture, after eating it I'm disappointed, there are few ingredients, a thick pancake and zero sauce, I recommend taking a drink with you to wash it down, the service is indifferent towards the customer, after deciding on a wrap without any additions, the lady expressed indifference and resignation with her face, the high opinion is probably due to buying them

Best place in Amsterdam. Great atmosphere, great service and absolutely delicious food. Very authentic chicken and the cauliflower with tahini dish is just pure.

The food was mediocre at best. Especially considering the €13 price for a wrap. Anyway, I wanted to pay with card. So he punched the numbers in and just before I tapped the card I realized that he was accidentally going to charge me €1 instead of €13. I made him aware of this and instead of saying “thank you” like any other person would, he said “you’re lucky” while pointing his finger in the air as if he wanted to teach me a lesson. I told him that he’s actually lucky that I made him aware of his mistake so he wouldn’t undercharge me. Then he mumbled something that I didn’t understand and got on with his work. Well, good thing there are many good food places in Amsterdam. I won’t be going there again.

I ordered online from Lila Falafel and picked it up myself. The presentation looked great in the photos, but the actual taste was disappointing and very average. It didn’t live up to the expectations at all. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back.

Very friendly staff. The food looks better in the photos than how I personally thought it tasted. I had a shawarma dish, which was a bit dry. The falafel balls were also very dry.

The food quality is excellent and very clean. They pay attention to the smallest details in the sandwich. The taste is delicious. We asked them for hot sauce and they brought us green hot sauce, which is delicious from their work. (We ordered 2 falafel sandwiches). I recommend it. ✅

Hearty portion sizes for the meals and filling wraps if you’re looking for something smaller. I ordered the Sabachi wrap (vegan) and found it a little dry, but the head chef was very friendly and gave me some DELICIOUS hummus. Highly recommend the falafel and hummus, flavor straight from Middle East.

I had a truly divine wrap at this place. The sauces and sides are authentic and delicious. I will put it on my list of places to return to in Amsterdam 🔥😋

Out of late night desperation, ordered a chicken hummus plate. It was an incredibly small portion of meat with hummus and two pieces of bread for 20 euros. Outrageous.

The food here was OK, nothing like some of the other reviewers rave about. Overall, kind of bland and missing flavor but not terrible.

This little Middle Eastern food cafe is so delicious. We ordered plates one chicken, one sharwma both were delicious. Customer service 10/10 and the chef was absolutely lovely. Next time I visit Amsterdam I will be back !! Thank you so much

The food was apparently appetizing, but the taste lacked spices and salt. Our order was a meat meal, a shawarma meal, baba ghanouj, and falafel. Of course, baba ghanouj was something completely different from what we know. The falafel was crunchy, but like I said, the food needed salt and spice. Food was missing taste as the restaurant is serving Arabic food, it must be at least marinated and be rich of flavour, the quantity was perfect for the meals service was also perfect.

A lot of up-selling happening when you order. Expensive sauces. I ordered shoarma, and the main part (shoarma) of the dish was very little, while the sides filled the plate. Also dry rubber like halloumi. Otherwise some parts of the food are pretty good, bread, fries, hummus. Overall didn't impress though, food can have more spice and quality.

The place offers great food options, although it isnt the cheapest, the quality shows. I do wish they added a bit more mayo to the fries (it doesnt impact the rating at all). The chicken and falafel wrap were amazing. Its a good recommendation to eat at.

If you're craving oriental food, Lila is the place to go too! The meat is fresh as the halloumi salad which i also recommend. Definitely worth another visit

After arriving late to Amsterdam, on a wet night, and finally dropping my bags at the hotel, I was eager to get something to eat. Something about the menu at Lila caught my eye, and the food was much better than I'd hoped for so late at night. In particular, the home-made hummus was really good, and the fries had a very nice spicy coating, nothing overpowering but certainly elevating the meal. The man who I dealt with at the counter was helpful and pleasant too. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
