Tasty halal food served, fresh with Lebanese flavor, ordered plates of chicken & falafel, very nice but quantity not that’s satisfied.

I ordered my food through Thuisbezorgd, and they simply never delivered it but marked it as delivered. Unfortunately, I can’t contact the restaurant to find out what happened. I lost my lunch break because I was at work and had no food. Very disappointing and frustrating.

We came across this bistro by chance while walking around Amsterdam. I generally like bistros and I was also intrigued by the Uber Eats review in the window. And the experience was great. The food was great and we ate in the window with a great view of the busy street. The service was very nice and we had a great time relaxing here while walking around the city.

Came here with the girlfriend after enjoying one of the coffee shops nearby. I don't know what some of the other low-rating reviewers are thinking when they say they were disappointed with this place. The food was phenomenal in my opinion and some of the best Middle Eastern food I've had on one of my trips. First off, the meal portions are absolutely insane with how much food they give you. However, that's reflected in how much they charge. The meal overall was quite pricey, coming in at around $50 USD for two meals and two drinks, but the food was fantastic in every regard. We got two falafel plates, which included almost anything you could want in a meal. We got the main dish, fries, salad with lettuce, onion and pickles, hummus, and pita. The pita was out of this world. I don't know where or how they cooked it, but it was damn good. It was incredibly soft and went extremely well with the hummus. I gotta say, I finished almost everything on that plate because the food was that good, and I was very hungry. The falafel itself was very well seasoned, and the ingredients were pressed together really well. It had an almost soft texture inside that fried shell of goodness. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke English very well, and were genuinely interested to see if we enjoyed our meal. We were there pretty late at night, around 10 PM or so, and it was nice finding a spot still open after our coffee shop run. The only criticism I'll throw at this place is that the bathroom was a bit dingy. But that's kinda expected in older European cities where space is at a huge premium. Would I come back? Most likely, yes. If I was in the area and craving good falafel, I'd absolutely consider coming back. It was that good.

I went to the restaurant based on good reviews, but the praise was a bit exaggerated. I ordered a falafel sandwich, which was good, and a kebab sandwich, which was terrible because they mixed the meat—lamb and beef. I asked if I had the option of getting separate lamb or beef, and they said no, because it comes mixed! I wish them success and hope they improve their menu further.

We stopped in here for a quick late lunch trying to stay away from tourist traps and the food was delicious. The kefta meat was extra good and some of the best fries in Amsterdam. We ordered a meal that came with hummus and a wrap. I wish I had taken pictures because for a fast meal it was beautifully prepared.

Expensive, but good and filling. We were unlucky, they had a large order to take before serving us, so we waited a bit, but it was quick enough that we didn't have a hypoglycemic attack in our comfy chairs. The guy in the kitchen was nice!

Had dinner here and the chicken shawarma wrap and chicken meal tasted great. The local craft beer was a nice accompaniment. The hot sauce is lacking in heat but it's quite flavorful. The service was direct and efficient. The falafels tasted fresh and the hummus was also decent. The bread they serve with the meals is also amazing.

It was a shame. I was looking forward to the food. Nice place, well-maintained, friendly staff... 4.5 stars (?!) but the food was really disappointing. The fries were dry and the sabich was quite gross: the aubergine was raw in pieces that were far too thick and still grassy and bitter, the hummus too bitter and no amba. I have had really good sabich elsewhere and this ain't it. Plus soggy pieces of fries in between. I couldn't finish it.

We tried the kebab wrap and the falafel plate. The menu was tasty, but the price seemed a bit high to us. The kebab wrap had very little meat. Considering we paid more for a 200g hamburger menu elsewhere yesterday, I'd say the prices are a bit above average.

Masha'Allah, the food is perfect and light on the stomach, not heavy at all. Their kebabs are legendary; the owner himself serves you, bakes the bread, and everything is fresh. I live in Germany and I recommend everyone try it; it reminds you of the food in Jeddah restaurants.
