We went to this place that was billed as "the best kebab in Amsterdam," but the reality, in our opinion, was a bit different. A kebab piadina cost €13.50 (without fries or drinks, which would have cost €4 each, including water) and the meat was very spicy, tough, and unpleasant. Adding vegetables, sauces, etc. cost extra, so we ended up with a meager piadina with just meat, a little cabbage, and onion. Unfortunately, they seated us near the door, which was left open for unspecified reasons, and since it was December, it was cold. The preparation didn't take too long, so the service was better; furthermore, the place is clean, with outlets for charging your phone, and the restrooms are well-kept. I honestly wouldn't describe it as the best kebab in Amsterdam, and I'd be hard-pressed to return. The choice is yours.

Lila is my all time go to for quality meets service meets price. The staff is super friendly, and the shawarma is locked in to the point where I’ve formed a mild addiction to it. Oh and don’t bother going to any dedicated fries joints because Lila’s fries are better than all of the ones I’ve tried, and it’s not even their focus. Also they are open late which is a godsend for a night owl like me. Can’t praise this place highly enough.

A great choice for a late-night meal, plus a complimentary small order of fries courtesy of the friendly owner who cooks very well. 🥰

Overpriced, paid 16 euros for a shoarma which was not seasoned nicely, lacked other topings, missed sauce. Made it dry and not tasty

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The dishes are tasty, well presented, and prepared with fresh ingredients.

Avoid this restaurant, everything is overpriced: sauces €1.50, a can of soda €4, and they don't even tell you the prices, they just add them on. The food wasn't great, everything was dry and loaded with tons of onions. You can't choose what goes in it. Absolutely terrible, avoid it at all costs. Plus, it took them 25 minutes to make four burritos.

A fantastic find! The atmosphere is cozy, and the dish was bursting with flavor. You can tell everything is homemade. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful service! I could eat this food any day and Lila knocks it out of the park! The wraps are nice and soft, the inside is so perfectly cooked with plenty of unique flavors. Their seating is perfect especially if you’re just grabbing a quick bite.

We had kebab, it was missing some seasoning or sauce to make it tastier, and it was a bit empty; filling it up more would be ideal.

The kebab sandwich is absolutely delicious, the wrap bread is homemade, and the guys who cook are very friendly and helpful.

We love falafel and we've eaten them all over the city in various places over the years. On this visit we were staying close to Haarlemmerdijk and we discovered Lila on out first day. The place is cosy with a mezzanine at the back. The staff are friendly and the food is all freshly made in house. We saw them making flatbreads and it was all very cool and we had a good chat with the owner. The food was amazing! The falafel were perfect. No dryness but perfectly crispy. I had the meal and the salad and hummus were lovely. My wife had the falafel wrap and it was very tasty also. We were super happy to discover Lila and wish them all the best. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in the city.

The meat on the kebab was very well seasoned. Unfortunately, the wait was very long even though it was barely busy, and the wrap could have been larger for the price.

I was there with some friends and we ordered a wrap with ham, sauce and other stuff like tomatos onions.. But sadly it was really Bad. It tasted very bad. The sauce was bitter and the ham lacked flavour. We couldn't eat more than 2 bites caused to this. We had to threw it away. Wouldnt recommend it.

This was a short walk from our Airbnb and I truly loved the food here. If you need a late night spot for Middle Eastern food I highly recommend visiting. It’s open late and the quality is absolutely amazing.

I had the shawarma meal and when I tell you that it’s one of the most tastiest thing I have ever eaten. The vegetables were so fresh, the meat was tender. I would recommend anyone to eat here. If I come to Amsterdam again, I will definitely eat here.
