The food was apparently appetizing, but the taste lacked spices and salt. Our order was a meat meal, a shawarma meal, baba ghanouj, and falafel. Of course, baba ghanouj was something completely different from what we know. The falafel was crunchy, but like I said, the food needed salt and spice. Food was missing taste as the restaurant is serving Arabic food, it must be at least marinated and be rich of flavour, the quantity was perfect for the meals service was also perfect.

A lot of up-selling happening when you order. Expensive sauces. I ordered shoarma, and the main part (shoarma) of the dish was very little, while the sides filled the plate. Also dry rubber like halloumi. Otherwise some parts of the food are pretty good, bread, fries, hummus. Overall didn't impress though, food can have more spice and quality.

The place offers great food options, although it isnt the cheapest, the quality shows. I do wish they added a bit more mayo to the fries (it doesnt impact the rating at all). The chicken and falafel wrap were amazing. Its a good recommendation to eat at.

After arriving late to Amsterdam, on a wet night, and finally dropping my bags at the hotel, I was eager to get something to eat. Something about the menu at Lila caught my eye, and the food was much better than I'd hoped for so late at night. In particular, the home-made hummus was really good, and the fries had a very nice spicy coating, nothing overpowering but certainly elevating the meal. The man who I dealt with at the counter was helpful and pleasant too. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

If you're craving oriental food, Lila is the place to go too! The meat is fresh as the halloumi salad which i also recommend. Definitely worth another visit

Le Lila is a very good little restaurant, the welcome is pleasant, they play good music and the food is good. I tried the wraps and it's really worth it, there's a taste of smells and flavors that we're not necessarily used to eating. The tortillas are homemade, the pasta is prepared in advance in the morning, so if you're in the area, don't hesitate. Enjoy your stay in Amsterdam.

I’ve never tried this kind of food and I was looking for something diferent in Amsterdam and it was amazing!! A lot of vegetarian options, amazing staff and chill restaurant!

We went out for dinner and chose Lila because it has a different concept than what we are used to: Middle Eastern food. We were very satisfied! The food was well prepared, the staff was super attentive and helpful, and the atmosphere was very calm :) I recommend it!!

Flavourful wraps and good portions (:

I ordered a halloumi bowl and a feta veggies bowl. Instead, once I got home I realized they had only given me two bowls full of hummus, one plain, one with halloumi, with two small breads alongside (see photo). I only realized when we got home and I was incredibly disappointed, and quite honestly, felt scammed. I have to imagine it was a mistake but I tried to call them once I got home and it rang out twice. After that, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth because I feel like I paid 30 euros just for hummus… I would like to change this one star to a four or five, because the food we did receive was good, and the servers were kind.

We've ordered 2 meals, 1 chicken and 1 fried Cauliflower. We enjoyed it so much. When we came to the restaurant, it was during a very busy period. Though it was so busy the staff managed to pull through with 2 people! Mad respect and the food is good.
