I ordered take away and it one of the worst take aways I ever had in Ams. Bad pitta, falling apart, dry and tasteless. Over fried cauliflower with super spicy oil so you can’t taste how bad it is. Same with sweet potatoes. Portions are too small for its price. And my stomach now feels like a nuclear weapon. Oh yeah, and they forgot cola. Idk how ppl can eat that without cola. The worst pitta I ever tried.

Very tasty food, don't get me wrong. But it has gone downhill in recent years. Sandwiches were much, much bigger, were packed in nice round packages. Now you get a thin paper bag and it is not in a sealed container. Result: sandwiches that fell to the ground halfway through the bike ride. Prices have gone up. Sababa fix this, because I am getting to a point where I think: never mind.

Our first time was good however we cannot say the same after yesterday. Both of us had stomach issues after eating our falafels. And they were a bit over fried.

I ordered many times but this time the hummus has not even 1cm thick in the box. I ordered two portions, both are the same quantity. This is a good shop, it is pity that how a portion of 5.5€ hummus+pita would be this portion.

Ordered Pita Haloumi/Falafel. The sandwich was literally swimming in the yellow (curry) sauce. Had to scoop it out. Called to give feedback about this but did not get a customer-friendly feeling.

Well, I had a great meal. Well-filled pita with delicious falafel. The tables are great and if the sun is shining you are welcome on the terrace. With rain too, but that is of course nothing haha! ;) While enjoying an ice-cold golden rascal I had the time of my life here. Friendly staff with a professional appearance, five stars well deserved!

The chicken pita was really good — tasty and fresh. But come on guys, for a takeaway order (especially food meant to be eaten with hands), please include napkins. We were eating by the river with no shops nearby, and it honestly ruined the experience. A small detail, but it made a big difference.

Delicious food and generous portions! I ordered dinner for takeaway and had enough left for lunch. The girls working there were very helpful and friendly.

I have ordered food from here several times. The food tastes good, but something seems to go wrong every time. I ordered a pita with halloumi. There was 1 thin slice of halloumi inside. The website then said it was sold out. I don't think it is nice that it is not reported in advance/the choice is offered to order something else. I only found this out at home.

Saw this place on our way to the museums and stopped by. The place was small but looked nice and cozy. We wish that the ordering process was easier for non Dutch speakers. Even though we picked the English menu everything wasn’t translated so we didn’t know 100% what we ordered. We didn’t get receipts when we ordered either so we were a little confused when the food arrived. The food looked good and was tasty. The drink options were good too. Nice fries and dip. Nice location and interior.

My first experience, but not the last. It was very tasty(big sababa) and the service was great. I recommend it 100%

The delivery and in particular packing is not good here. I ordered two combodeals which arrived without fries. When I called they offered me to pick it up, which was not an option for me as I couldn’t get away from the house. Eventually I filed a claim with Uber but they didn’t want to repay me because it wasn’t specified explitly in the order that the combodeal included fries. I ended up paying a lot more and didn’t get what I ordered. I won’t order here again. Basically if they don’t deliver the extra’s its always your mistake and you can go screw yourself.

I don't like acting like a 'Karen' but this time it has to be done. I ordered a 'Big Sababa', the name gives me as a customer the impression that I am ordering a larger sandwich, just as the price indicates. Unfortunately this was not the case when I saw the portion. There were 2 small pieces of haloumi and a handful of spinach, lots of sauce and 4 falafel balls. I went back and told the employees my disappointment. I received an explanation: we don't have large rolls, these are the quantities we can give, halloumi is expensive, we can't do anything for you. Tip: if you sell Middle Eastern food, also offer Middle Eastern hospitality. Because this is stinginess.

Great falafel and quick service!

Nice little falafel spot. Although not the best falafel I’ve ever had (we’re not in the Middle East😅), good falafel in tasty pita and the vegetables seemed fresh! Good quality for the price. The roasted cauliflower was decent, well spiced and the pomegranate seeds were a nice touch, but it didn’t taste super fresh. I liked the sweet potato fries. The only thing I missed was hummus, which would be an essential side to the falafel…Staff was super friendly, like last time I visited this restaurant.

I only have a photo of the fries because my Sababa's Shawarma was finished before I thought to take a photo of my delicious food.

Food was delicious, although less middle eastern then you would expect it to be and more hip, still very delicious and vegan friendly for sure, I was there late and I think the staff was exhausted as they were not having it, but that’s understandable that late. Would recommend!

we ordered the Sabich Pita and the Sababa Classic Pita for eating in-store. Both were really really good. The service was also very friendly. We would come back anytime :)

Eten is heerlijk, alleen nu 3x op rij gaat het mis met mijn bestelling (telkens besteld via uber Eats) er zijn ontbrekende items en/of heb ik een verkeerde bestelling ontvangen . Nu wel klaar mee, ik bestel hier dus niet meer.

The falafel wrap was decent, although the chicken shawarma one very underwhelming - lacking flavour. Overall, not great value for money. Plus, not tightly packaged meaning it wasn’t very warm when delivered. Finally, the large fries was… not large!

Amazing staff! I made an order online and only realised I chose the wrong location when I arrived to pick it up. It was my mistake and I was ok with placing another order on-site and paying again. However, the staff on duty was super helpful and contacted their other location for me. Even though they had already finished preparing my order at the other location, the stuff here still ended up making my wrap on the spot and wouldn’t let me pay for it again. They really went above and beyond even though it was my mistake in the first place. Super impressed with their service, friendly, with care and overall truely exceptional. Many thanks again!

Super expensive for what you get. 13 euros for chicken shawarma. Bland chicken, store bought garlic sauce, undercooked pitta, plain spinach without even a vinaigrette.

Easy healthy and affordable! Nice outside (and inside) seating too. Highly recommend for an easy and quick option!

Dry bread. Double the price. The service was distracted and more focused on take aways. Giving falafel a bad rep. This should be good happy street food from the heart.

Tasty shawarma with fresh ingredients on a always nice pita bread, good portion size. I wish it was a bit less expensive ($12,50 for a chicken shawarma) but since the quality is very good I never regret it...

Heerlijk vers en smaakvol eten! Daarnaast mega aardig personeel. Wij hadden gebeld om zelf af te halen en net voor de ophaaltijd wordt de friet nog gebakken zodat het allemaal warm mee naar huis kan. Super!

The Shawarma pita was my number 1 favorite! It was soo fresh! Also the people that helped me were very nice! The fries were made sooo crunchy i would come there just to eat fries!

Had such a delicious dinner with a friend at this amazing spot! Service was perfect and the food was fresh and full of flavour! One of my favorite spots in Amsterdam from now! A must try for sure.

Really flavourful dishes, nice seasoned and fresh. The pitas were amazing and crispy on the outside but soft in the inside, full of fresh ingredients. Keep it up!
