I had very nice impression on my first visit , i hade meal and shisha , price was 17 eur for meal and 15 eur for the shisha, but unfortunately i went next day and they charge me only for the shisha 29 eur , The water just played with the price and he start giving excuses. In general i don't recommend the place cause they will play with the price.

Great place to eat Middle Eastern food. We had baba ganush, (delicious), lamb kabab with rice (wonderful) and chicken shawarma (so tasty). At the end we had Arab coffee with cardamom and delicious knaffe. The service is extremely good and friendly and we spoke Arabic, which was nice. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing food and great background music. It may look like an average tourist-y Amsterdam spot but the food was fantastic. Definitely recommend this over a typical Argentinian style stake house any day. Would come again, there's so many options. If you come please try out some of the starters, especially the muhammara

Met vier collega's heb ik gegeten voorafgaand aan een karaokeavond, verderop in de straat. De bediening was heel attent en vriendelijk. De kaart is tamelijk uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Ik at kebab, twee stokjes, met frites en salade. Het zag er goed uit en het smaakte mij uitstekend. Ik vind € 23,95 wel vrij prijzig. De andere aten Falafel (€ 7,95), Chicken souvlaki, Chicken lubnani en Grilled veggie salad (elk € 14,95), het zag er allemaal goed en lekker uit. Ze hebben niets gezegd over hoe het smaakte, ik denk dat ze het allemaal prima vonden.

A halal restaurant, located in a lively area, 8 minutes away from Dam Square by tram. The staff is courteous, speaks Arabic and has nice treatment. Very delicious dishes. We tried the Iraqi banana, kebab skewers with rice, and the fattoush salad. They are all excellent, and the Iraqi tea is not a mistake. I strongly recommend it 👍🏼

I visited this restaurant twice, and while the food was decent, the service left much to be desired. The chicken shawarma was okay, the kebab was quite good, and the fries were enjoyable. However, both times, the service was disappointing—slow and inefficient, with unreasonably long wait times for food preparation and serving. Unfortunately, this overshadowed the dining experience.

I already had a reservation and we were on time they greeted me with oh we’re about to close but I made the remark that we already reserved so they were like yeah okay.. we ordered and the food was served but as quality for the price hmmm I’ve tried better with better prices, the portion that we ordered would’ve been fine for one person so that’s why I felt that it’s a bit pricey

I ordered one Shawarma Deluxe and one normal Arabic chicken shawarma, and I can confidently say this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I’m being completely honest here, with no hate intended. As someone from the Levant, I feel deeply insulted that this food is being labeled as Middle Eastern—it’s just so bad. The worst part of all was the Toumiye; it had absolutely no flavor. The meat was cooked in a pan, and while this could have worked if the chef had any expertise, there was an overwhelming, strange taste that made it clear the dish was not authentic. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking good value for their money, and certainly not to anyone looking for an authentic Middle Eastern experience.

If you want a real authentic Arabic food , this place is a must to visit , food is perfect , service is excellent, in the middle of the city center and there is an amazing shisha .

Tourist trap!!!! The food has absolutely nothing to do with Arab cuisine. May God help non-Arabs who eat at your place and think this is Arab food. There were restaurants I considered bad, but your restaurant has undoubtedly earned first place as the worst, with full merit.

It's not my first time to be there ,the food is delicious made with love 💕 Even though it was New Year's Eve and the restaurant was full of people, we were served immediately and enjoyed the Arabic delicious food.. The only thing that, you can't pay for with the restaurant gift card!

The best restaurant in Amsterdam

We visited this restaurant in a moment that it was not very busy, we were the third table and there was not much flow as it was before peak hour. First thing we got told was that the portions were smaller (kebab was one instead of two as shown in the picture, same with the chicken tikka which was half of the portion) - the menu at the time of this review is outdated. We waited for long before I got told that the dish I ordered was sold out to which I quickly replied with an alternative dish, no problem. We also waited for more than 20 minutes for 2 soft drinks. The table next to us came 15 minutes after us and it seemed like they knew each other, they got all their food which included starters and afterwards their main dishes before we even got our salad and we had to wait for our main dishes even longer. Server looked totally unmotivated. The food was good but waiting for so long ruined the whole lunch. (picture for reference, there is no rice&fries option, we just shared the fries with my partner - no problem with that as it's stated on the menu)

Bad Experience The place felt old and poorly maintained. To make things worse, I found a bee in my drink! Absolutely unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.
