Iraqi food like Kebab and other dishes but it’s expensive you pay at least for one portion 18€ and is not worthy for that price you pay for a drink 3 € even is expensive, and you can’t stay for more than the time to finish your meal no privacy we gave as a table beside the casher , for one person you pay easy 25- 30 , parking not easy and about 5.50€ …

Yesterday, we (4 Greeks) dined at this gem in Amsterdam, and it exceeded all expectations! Delicious food with generous portions at decent prices. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This place instantly became our favorite spot in the city. Highly recommend it!

The food was actually delicious, but the service was very poor and extremely slow. The smell inside the restaurant was unpleasant, and the attitude and demeanor of the staff make you not want to come back again. I hope this can be improved.

The dishes were good, but the service was very poor. We waited a long time for the drinks to arrive and had to go inside to check if they were coming. We also waited 20 minutes for the bill, even though there were only us and one other table. It wasn’t crowded; I don’t know why there was a delay.

Frankly speaking, the food is very good, but there was a worker of Syrian nationality who was very rude in dealing with customers and with us in particular. Even when I advised her to order food, she did not listen to herself But the second Syrian guy was very polite and polite I advise the restaurant owner to reprimand her and teach her how to respect the customer

My Iraqi friend wanted to introduce me to his cuisine. Well I would have to say he succeeded in presenting the cuisine in one of the best ways possible. We started with a mix of 'mezzes', consisting of different small dishes like: baba ganoush, muhammara, tzatziki, hummus, tabbouleh and falafel. It is served with Libanese bread. The 'muhammara' with bread tasted so good! The tabbouleh is a killer, it was delicious. The 'mezze mix' is a feast for the eye and mouth. The main (shawarma with shashlick)was decent, but the mezzes stole my heart🥰

Great place for an intimate family dinner even though it's located in a busy street. It was my 2nd visit and it was worth it. I had dinner with my family and we had several dishes. Of course I liked mine best: The mixed grill. It was a little bit too much for me and my wife but the staff gave us the leftovers to take away. Great experience all over.

My friend and I had dinner at Nour. This is one for the meat-lovers especially. The food was delicious and came in copious proportions. We took Meze for starter and then I had kebab lamb Iraq (see picture). My friend took the Turkish lamb kebab which came with fries. The beers come from a crate which gives it a bit of a cool (unintended) Berlin raw vibe. Friendly staff. Nice mix of clientele. Really recommend it.

All of the dishes were really delicious. I like that at the end we had extra bread to bring home with. I love the dips so much! They are all different and it was interesting to have different tastes every time. There were also lots of meat. Personally, I enjoyed the chicken a lot.

We took the mixed grill for 2 and it was delicious and portions were pretty big! Price wise also pretty great! All the dips were sooo good also! Really recommended

we came here because we thought we can eat the food of our country, they thought we were European since we weren’t a hijabi they decided to not serve us inside instead they told us to sit outside with the rest of European people, then they proceed to insulted us in Arabic among themselves laughing not knowing we understood very well, SHAME ON YOU, if you are so ignorant and from stone age why bother opening restaurant in AMSTERDAM let alone why you bring your stone age mentality to Europe, I’m guessing this is not the first time you are discriminating people.

Meat was fine, other than that I don't understand the comments about 'cheap food'. 18-20 euros for a piece of meat and some bread. Fine, but certainly not cheap. What could be better, in my opinion, is serving vegetables on the side. The waitress was very friendly, but this did not apply to the other staff.

Came for the Iraqi food, ended up only having 1 Iraqi dish. I was disappointed to hear that the Iraqi and Iranian kebabs were the same. The menu covers a lot of Middle Eastern dishes so it’s not the most traditional Iraqi restaurant I’ve been to. Overall the food was ok, portion sizes were good. If you are looking for a place to try different types of Middle Eastern cuisines then this probably for you. The only thing that was detracting from the experience were the small flies at the front of the restaurant which was bothering the table. Not sure whether we were unlucky or it was a one off but I’d recommend management to investigate it before it comes a persistent problem.

First of all, the restaurant is not Iraqi...it is Iraqi, but now they are not Iraqis and they call the restaurant Iraqi! Eating.. Shawarma makes the whole soul play with galafate, and the meat means you want it to be cooked.. It has nothing to do with Shawarma at all. Kebab Syrian style The last time we came to this restaurant.. If you are not Iraqis, do not say we are Iraqis because our food was different.

Very well organized restaurant, lots of visitors, food and service good

After a few disappointing experiences with the food we decided to give it a go after a few months, hoping maybe there were some improvements as we used to love coming here. Don’t get me wrong the staff is friendly and hard working, but the food we received today was appalling and even worse than before.. it is not that hard to put together a fresh Fattoush salad. We received a few leaves of old salad that barely filled the bottom of the container, which on top of that was ridiculously overpriced. I mean really ? This is a joke and a insult to any Arabic person. In this economy you eat out/order food to have a treat, not this. It’s just blatant disrespect to your customers to serve this.

Food has really deteriorated. Kebab was partly pink in color, so raw 🤢. Unfortunately, service was also disappointing. Had to wait a long time while the place was almost empty. When you are finally helped, you are given a dirty look... not worth repeating.

We hebben een vega en een kipgerecht besteld. Kipgerecht was karig, erg weinig groenten. Bij vegagerecht kreeg ik ook kip geserveerd, dat was jammer. Sfeer is erg ongezellig, veel te fel licht.
