achterstraat snack in Wijk 01 Woerden-Midden

Due to a visit to the orthopedic surgeon, we visited here for the first time to have a cup of coffee. The staff is friendly. The coffee tasted good, but because it is self-service and you don't even get a cookie with your coffee—in keeping with good Dutch custom—and you are expected to drop off your tray at the designated spot upon leaving, it is still quite pricey. The place looks neat and reasonably cozy, by the way.

Cozy restaurant (like all La Cubanitas) with good food and friendly service. Unfortunately, today I had to wait a long time for the dishes, even though it wasn't busy inside. (The first dish of 3 pieces of meat arrived after 30 mins.) The floor was unfortunately a bit sticky, but I wrote last time that it could be a coincidence; so it wasn't a coincidence 🫣 The entrance isn't recognizable as La Cubanitas; you have to go all the way in at the back near 'Bregje' and then go up the stairs. The restaurant is on the 1st floor! Other people were looking for it too when I arrived.) Parking in front of the door is almost impossible, so you will have to park at the train station across the street. Unfortunately, this parking lot is also very full and very busy every time.
