Friendly people and they don't make things difficult if you arrive early.

Delicious lunch mackerel. Good staff, cozy atmosphere. Lots of choice. They also have the most delicious dishes with fresh seasonal and regional products. And that for a fair price. Very friendly staff. I hadn't booked a table and was lucky to get one. If you plan a lunch then book ahead. Decaf soya cappuccino no problem at all! The goat's cheese salad was also very good. They have a tempting high tea on their menu too...

For a party with 25 friends we had a private dining room on the upper floor. Excellent and friendly service. The three course choice menu had good options that turned out to be very palatable. All in all a pleasant experience.

"Grand Café Plein 7" in Woerden bestaat sinds 2015 en is gevestigd in het forse, eind 19e eeuws gebouw "Concordia". Midden in het oude centrum van Woerden, tegenover het stadsmuseum. Naast het café biedt men ook groepsruimten (bruiloften, vergaderingen, trainingen e.d.). Wij gebruikten in het grand café de lunch. Blijkbaar is het een populair adres van Woerden e.o., want het zat rond het middaguur al bomvol. Vriendelijk verwelkomt, vlotte bediening, betrekkelijk compacte lunchkaart. Ik at heel bescheiden een tosti boerenkaas/beenham, die met een goed bereide salade werd geserveerd. Mijn partner nam de lunch van de dag .. viscurrysoep, broodjes met pulled porc, salade. We waren beiden aangenaam verrast .. alles smaakte erg goed. Verrast waren we ook over de rekening .. mijn tosti kostte slechts €6.50 ... kom er tegenwoordig eens voor, zelfs bij ons op het platteland. Goed adres, leuk ingerichte zaak, leuke sfeer .. aanrader dus.

When you go out to eat with one of your favorite colleagues, the food often doesn't really matter. This time it was really different. In addition to wonderful conversations, we enjoyed all the goodies that were served to us. To be repeated. Partly because of the enthusiastic employees who invited us to choose something tasty. That worked!

Burned tosti goat cheese with Hazelnut . We were greeted after 10 minutes arrival and were told that the lunch menu was limited since it was only available another 30 minutes (?). After ordering our drinks and waiting them for 15 minutes we could make our lunch order ( nobody visited us in between and it wasn’t even busy). I received a burned toast goat cheese with hazelnut( not mentioned in the menu)and when told to the waitress about my severe hazelnut allergy she just nodded her shoulders and said- I’ll tell the chef. After this never saw the waitress again; went inside to pay. Poor service with poor food and ever worse no knowledge ment to my allergy!

The staff are very friendly, the service is very good, and the coffee is delicious. Those who hold tickets to the museum opposite can get a 10% discount.

We had a delicious lunch here on the terrace. Beautiful terrace, now wonderfully in the shade. Food was delicious, service good.

Naar aanleiding van onze teleurstelling over de hightea in augustus werd er door Plein 7 contact met ons opgenomen, met excuus en een uitnodiging om op kosten van Plein 7 nog eens te komen. Dat hebben we vanmiddag gedaan. We hebben genoten van een lekkere lunch in een gezellige sfeer met wederom vriendelijke bediening. Dat heeft alles goedgemaakt. Bedankt!

Bediening: zeer vriendelijke jonge dames en heer. Restaurant: gezellig en knus Kwaliteit vd hightea: matig, vooral de hartige hapjes zoals het vegetarische sauzijenbroodje met vreemde smaak en glibberige vulling, karig belegd stukje brood met brie, en standaard kaasachtig frituurhapje De hightea bleek voor iedereen vegetarisch te moeten, ondanks dat we aangaven dat we dat niet wilden. Dat was makkelijker voor de keuken, zo werd ons gezegd. Ondanks de erg vriendelijke jonge dames en heer die ons bedienden, overheerst de teleurstelling over deze zg luxe hightea.

Leuk tentje midden in Woerden, kaart is ook voor elk wat wils. Het eten vond ik echt tegenvallen. De steak van de week was best taai en er zat een vreemd smakende saus overheen. Leek uit een pakje te komen. Frietjes waren wel goed.

Ate all kinds of snacks from starter, main course and desserts. Was served on a board. All delicious.

Just had a delicious lunch at Plein 7. A vegetarian club sandwich with fries and a bowl of salad. Entirely right. Excellent service and hospitable. Highly recommended in the center of Woerden. Service was fine but the food was absolutely terrible! Carpaccio was good, but the satay was bone dry and slightly burnt, the sauce was tasteless and the steak was one large pudding, pasta was boiled to snot and the “dark chocolate cake” of 9.50 was a rock hard milk chocolate brownie that I think was made somewhere. came from the supermarket.

Portions were on the small side and the food was not very special. Ravioli was overcooked.

We accidentally found this nice restaurant in Woerden. From the moment your coat is taken and you are served lightning-fast with a smile despite it being busy, we feel very pampered. What a wonderfully cozy atmosphere and the food was fantastic. I had a deer stew with vegetables and stewed pears. Drinks were quickly replenished and we were asked several times if everything was to your liking. Again while it was very busy. We are not used to that. Thank you for the nice evening. We definitely recommend it here!

Ordered a Latte Macchiato and Ginger Tea with apple pie and chocolate cake on Saturday afternoon. Everything is fine. Friendly service. The place was quite full but there was attention for everyone. Plein 7 has a view of the Woerden museum, which is located in a historic building.

Today I was turned away in square 7 because they were supposedly full but there were still plenty of tables left. I'm never going here again.

Today we participated in the rotary run in Woerden. We were offered a nice hot chocolate as a deal by the organization and sponsored by Plein 7, but afterwards we were kind of refused in Plein 7 in our Santa Claus outfit, while there was still plenty of room. I won't go to this place anymore

Today we participated in a Santa run sponsored by Plein 7. Beforehand there was a lot of advertising about having a drink there afterwards. After the run we were looking forward to a delicious hot chocolate. Once inside we were not allowed to take a seat because they were supposedly completely full. Even though half the place was still empty! What a travesty and poor service! I know where I will NOT go for a hot chocolate in the future!!!

What a bad tent!!!!! Are there advertisements during the Santa Run and if you want to have a drink afterwards (in your Santa Claus suit) you will be sent away because the tent is supposedly falling down??? While people came in just before us and they could just take a seat!!! Ridiculous!!! What a positive advertisement, I will never go here again!!!!

I think it varies, it was last Saturday. When I entered, I thought what am I doing here? I tried to contact an employee (they look and then nothing??) to order something, but was unsuccessful. Waited, then helped later, friendly again..? The food was certainly tasty although it also took a while. I still don't feel the cordiality there, unfortunately? Next time I will pass it by, I think atmosphere and cordiality are important.

It was very expensive but that wasn't the problem. The steak of the week had about 5cm of fat and the meat was super tough. Had the carpaccio as a starter and asked for pesto and no olives. First time with olives, the second had the wrong sauce, third time she had 2 sauces but I only wanted 1. Super disappointing. Not a good experience. Definitely not recommended.

The accommodation looks nice I sat with my partner in the courtyard next to the church. The food was also fine. Only the menu was very limited. Tried the plein 7 lunch, vegetable soup, sandwich with corn chicken pieces and a tomato salad for a nice 12 euros. Yes Nice. An extra star!

Nice terrace in the church garden. Hidden between the Peter's Church and the city museum. Wonderfully sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the city between medieval buildings. A hidden gem in the city.

Had to wait far too long for service every time, at every part of the evening. We didn't get a card at first, you had to wait a long time for drinks, the main course took forever... It took 2 hours before the main course finally arrived. We had made a reservation at 6:15 PM, the main course arrived at 8:15 PM. The food was okay, nothing special. I couldn't really enjoy it either because I was really annoyed by the service. Not a nice experience...

Had a nice meal here. Even though we came on spec, they checked to see if there was still a spot for us. Service was friendly and the food was served quickly. We enjoyed dining here.

fantastic, so to speak, excellent food! Food all looked tasty and beautiful, and it tasted really delicious. Staff is attentive and friendly. Downside and easy to improve: the furniture. A real pity, I could easily enjoy eating and drinking here for an evening in terms of ambiance, but the chairs are not comfortable and the table leg is so large that you cannot fit your feet. I don't think this is what you want as a restaurant, you want people to "hang around", now I was happy that I could get up. My table companion also suffered from it and I saw other people in the restaurant also “messing around” with the table leg. I think there is still a lot to be gained here! Rest was fantastic! We will definitely come back, maybe sometime on the terrace or on the couch? ;)
