It's been a few years since our last visit, but we'll be back more often now. Ambiance was great, Food was lovely. Seven small appetizers, nice main course and five small deserts. Enjoyed it tremendously.

It was very nice to sit upstairs near the kitchen, the service was nice and I could ask anything I wanted. I thought it was very child-friendly, but the food was a bit too sweet or too salty... but usually really good

The food was outstanding. The atmosphere is a small venue with lots of little areas to sit. We had a table upstairs in the chef's kitchen which was super unique. Just a fun environment to have dinner.

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Only afterwards I see that I should have had a sauce with my sole, unfortunately it was not included. Nothing else to comment on.

Delicious food and exceptionally attentive and friendly staff. A point of attention is the back door, which continuously closes with a very loud bang. We were sitting around the corner and the boom was also palpable.

Very nice atmosphere and very good service! The food was tasty and unusual, but it could have used a little more "sophistication" and spices. In particular, the risotto-filled pumpkin was a little bland in taste. Smaller portions are served. A little too little for us, but still delicious. That's why I deduct a star.

Had dinner with a group of forty people in the separate room. It's nice to be able to do it that way, but the acoustics are terrible. Food is good and staff helpful. Update 2024: lunch on Tuesday (surprisingly busy!) was very good. Overall impression from 3 to 4 stars.

Cozy restaurant. Nice lunch. Plenty of parking. If the weather is nice, try out the terrace.

Nice place, good service. The menu is extensive and has everything that provides comfort. That doesn't make it much of a surprise, but who cares! Price quality stands out with friendly prices. At this time I would like to read some information about the origin of the products (I have not been able to find it anywhere), especially those of animal origin. With the hay farm and extraordinary pigs around the corner, this is a golden opportunity. I think the target group can appreciate this. There is clearly a chef who will know what to do with these beautiful products and immediately has an eye for animal welfare and a short chain. Outside there is a beautiful terrace where you can sit when the weather is good. Recommended.

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience. I had reserved in advance and expected to sit inside, but we got a table on the terrace and I thought that was quite chilly, if I had known that I would have brought a cardigan. Anyway: In my paella I found a piece of transparent hard plastic that didn't belong there, which was neatly resolved because another dish was made for me. Of course, my table companions already had their dish and I had to wait for my new dish, so in the meantime I ate a large portion of the fries, but it was only a small bowl. Please note: we were with five people and the menu stated that all main courses were served with fries, but only 1 small bowl of fries was placed on the table for 5 people. When my dish was finally served, we asked for a second bowl of fries. That appeared on the bill for five euros. (And was eventually taken off the bill, but really: how extremely inhospitable) What we are now wondering: why so sparingly with those fries? Couldn't this be a little more generous? Or write on the menu that the main courses are not served with fries, but that you serve 1 scant bowl of fries per table and that all subsequent bowls must be paid for. As I wrote: I found it an unpleasant experience.

Lovely terrace. Easy parking nearby. Carpaccio and vitello tonnato sandwich were tasty and sufficient.

Very small main meals, so just too expensive, but tasty. Accompanying fries also come much later....

First of all, compliments for the delicious carpaccio sandwich. Good taste, right amount, really great! (A big 10). The atmosphere is cozy, nice and homely. Service neat and friendly! Top!!

Good food presented in an original way. The room where we sat was somewhat unimaginatively decorated in contrast to the rest of the restaurant. We had a pleasant evening...

Nice tent! But the brown bread for the club sandwich is cut so thick that you cannot get it right with any combination of toppings. It will be a very dry snack with relatively little taste.

It was good as always at Amis. I was dining with 4 colleagues. Recommendations are; the anti-pasti board and the tournedos. Our compliments for the quality of the food and the friendly and attentive service.

Good service, Alert. It is and remains a nice building with many corners. Top floor can be warm... Nice terrace with (I think) nice chairs. Food is fine. Wine good.

The tasting menu was nice, but a bit heavy on the deserts for my taste. We had a lovely time.

Leuk restaurant met heerlijk eten

Héél gezellig en rielex. Aardig personeel en het eten was heerlijk. Een aanrader.

Een aanrader! Vanwege het eten en de sfeer én vanwege de spontane afsluiting van ons etentje met vuurwerk dankzij de scherpe blik van één van de personeelsleden die zag dat wij wat te vieren hadden.

Gezellige ambiance, goede en vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten van goede kwaliteit. En makkelijk te bereiken.

Echte aanrader voor ieder in de regio De Bilt-Bilthoven, Bosch en Duin, Zeist en makkelijk bereikbaar vanuit Utrecht!

Gezellig en knus en mooie locatie. Heerlijke hapjes, wijnen en fijne bediening!

Uitstekend eten, erg veel kabaal want zat bomvol op een woensdag (=makkelijk op te lossen dus...? ) , toilet is trap op. Kom hier zeker terug.

Uitstekend gegeten. Precies waar we zin in hadden. Wel een beetje krapjes, maar wel gezellig en fijne bediening.

Heerlijk gegeten op het terras. Sfeervol terras, leuke bediening. Aanrader!

Verrassingsdiner van de chefkok is zeker een aanrader. Daar kom ik nog wel een keer voor !

Cute restaurant at a nice location

Prima restaurantje, terraskacheltjes zijn echter voor de sier, assortiment is beperkt en prijzig. Personeel beetje stuntelig maar wel heel vriendelijk. Mooi terrasje dat wel.

Goede service, goede sfeer en goed gegeten.

Lekker eten vriendelijke bediening, redelijke prijzen

We hebben hier een diner gehad met 28 personen in het zaaltje achter het restaurant. De ruimte ziet er al leuk uit, maar zelf nog verder versierd. Het eten, proeverij van gerechten, was heel lekker. Voor de kinderen was er een hamburger wanneer gewenst. Bediening prima, flexibel en attent. Na afloop nog verder geborreld met extra gasten. Zeer geslaagd en van harte aanbevolen.

Te duur en pretentieus. Misschien daardoor een bepaald publiek?

Ristorante molto carino con una bella atmosfera. Il cibo è buono, troppo lunghi i tempi d'attesa. Il personale è gentile.

Ik woon 8 jaar in De Bilt. Voor het eerst hier "uit eten". Viel niet tegen. Heerlijk eten. Fijne bediening. Top entertainment; "eten in de keuken" is geen straf. Fijne kok en crew.

Super leuk restaurant waar je heerlijk kan eten. Vriendelijke bediening. Enige minpuntje is dat het erg lawaaierig is.

Hele leuke locatie met een mooie achtertuin. Gevarieerd aanbod. Zeer vriendelijke bediening

Heerlijk eten! Bediening lijkt nog wat onervaren maar zeer vriendelijk. Tonijn was heerlijk. Rocky Road evenzo, de portie fudge had alleen iets kleiner gemogen, het was nu een maaltijd ipv nagerecht.
