Definitely worth going to with friends or family. The game element is great. You learn the game of golf right away. If you've never done it before, I recommend taking a pro for an hour. Gives you tips and tricks that you can use right away. I would also make a reservation because it's really busy.

Been there on a company outing. Reception was pleasant, staff is friendly. Food was okay, but not great. The entertainment bay was nicely set up, on the display you can select different games to do with your group and the balls are automatically placed in front of you so you can hit one after the other.

Were there with our family for a day out. The game is more fun than I thought. Hit the ball as hard as possible 😂

Well, swinging was fine but when it came to snacking I felt like I accidentally clicked on the diet version of the menu. You could order drinks while golfing, which was really chill. There was always someone walking around, so at least I didn’t feel abandoned with my thirst. So far: service is good. But when the food arrived… ouch. I ordered a salad with chicken and red cabbage. Only… the chicken was MIA. Seriously, that red cabbage had taken over so much that I wondered if the chicken was even invited. And as a spice lover, I was of course like: "where are the fireworks?" Spoiler: nowhere. My date was lucky. His sandwich looked like it came from a commercial. And apparently it tasted like it too. Well great, one of us had a culinary highlight. Me on the other hand? Afterwards I just stopped at McDonald's. Because if you don't walk out of Chi Chi full, you have to solve it yourself. And that's what I did. With fries. Without red cabbage. 📍 Conclusion: Golfing? Yes. Service? Also yes. Food? For me a no. Unless you're crazy about a cabbage festival without chicken. In that case: go wild. But next time I'll bring snacks in my golf bag. Until the next bite of Tafels & Tories 🤙

Went there on a Sunday afternoon with a group of ladies. There was certainly no hospitality, the service was downright bad. Orders were delivered completely wrong. We had to go inside part of the time, but we couldn't order anything there. Orders within the time slot could no longer be accepted in the end. Unpleasantly approached and treated. Definitely not recommended from us! Too bad,

It was a my first time trying out golf and it was a fun experience. They also have wide range of drinks and bites to enjoy while you are playing.

Nicely organized but the drinks are absurdly expensive. 2 drinks for 25 euros! Of which it had to be a cocktail without alcohol (juice with non-alcoholic beer I think). The course and clubs are affordable and acceptable.

Nice activity, but service can be improved.

Very nice to do. We were with the family and most of us had a golf club in their hands for the first time. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed a drink and a snack. Really recommended if you want to try something different than bowling. 😉

Nice accommodation for a round of (training) golf, if you have difficulty walking then getting upstairs will be very difficult or almost impossible. Dinner in 8 courses is served in a room and there was a long time between the dishes. It is important to make clear agreements about this so that they can adhere to it Parking lot is quite far from the accommodation, wheelchair friendly including charging points and disabled spaces. For that reason it is strange that the upper floor cannot be reached independently by wheelchair users and there is no elevator. Catering, drinks and food were fine, I do not know the price/quality ratio because we were there by invitation.

1st visit in June: Nice place! This is not my talent but it is a nice activity and well organized here. The restaurant was really absurdly noisy. You can't understand each other and the music is sooo loud that you almost go deaf, even the reception ladies were bothered by it. 2nd visit with a large group including food. Courts have been modernized. Food was good, service at the courts too. Reservation and shared dining was well organized. A big minus is the staff in the restaurant. 3x brought wrong drinks and left someone for 40 minutes were on a coke-zero. Then back to talking big when you speak to them about it. The rest was good, so you have to be lucky with your waiter or waitress! Update 3: The place is still nice, only the service is still bad at the reception. This time the lunch was very good and friendly.

Listen, you all need to forgive me for not having enough media on the snacks,drinks and play. I had so much fun that I did not pull out the phone for a few snaps. From the time we arrived it was a seamless entry. We were pointed to our booth. The venue provides golf clubs for those that don’t have. What I love most is the gamification that comes with it. I hate the range, always only rock up to play on the course. This place was awesome though. From longest drive,shrinking greens,course play options,etc is sooooo cool! Golf is fine, only you wait mega long for drinks and food. Enough staff that is not the problem anyway. If you are very hungry definitely do not go here.

Chi Chi Golf in Utrecht is a fun place to play golf with friends. We played for an hour with four people, with a beer, nachos and a brown fruit bowl! You can play different games, which makes it varied. Reservations are recommended. Free parking and special clubs are available for left-handers. Ideal for a fun outing!

Today my boyfriend and I had a nice time at ChiChi, and then had a bite to eat in the restaurant. This is about our 4th time here and always very sweet and friendly help from the staff. Just like today, unfortunately the paella was disappointing and we honestly stated this, it was taken off the bill and we even got a gift card, way too cool! But so incredibly sweet and neat how this was resolved. This was also the first time that a dish was disappointing, normally the food is great. Long story short, super super resolved and we would like to come back more often. Thanks toppers!

With some friends I had a super fun golf experience here. You have different games that you can play against each other in the entertainment bays. There you can hit balls with 6 people in turns. You can hit as far as possible but also hit targets or get closest to the pin and more. You have a nice bench where you can sit, there are also heaters and blankets so that you suffer less from the cold. The staff regularly comes by to take drinks and to ask if everything is to your liking. That is certainly nice. After golfing there is a bar inside and there are tables where you can sit. There is also an outdoor terrace for when the weather is nice. You can also eat something here and there is enough choice on the menu. We just didn't use that. It is easy to reach by car and there is enough parking space. I don't know how this is arranged with public transport. We will definitely come back! Thanks for the fun experience⛳️🤩

We went recently, we had a really nice evening and enjoyed ourselves playing golf. However, the service was very bad. First we ordered 4 drinks, of which we only got 1 and the rest was forgotten, because no one walked by we had to look for someone to ask where it was. After playing golf we went inside for another drink. After half an hour we were finally able to order something because no one asked if we wanted to order something or made eye contact with us. We had received a voucher for a free snack because we had already played golf so we handed it in. After an hour we still had nothing so we asked, but they had forgotten. Because everything was taking so long we didn't feel like waiting for the snacks so we asked if they could cross it off somewhere else on the voucher but this was absolutely not possible (even though we had already drunk and eaten for 250 euros). So the golf itself was a lot of fun but the service was super bad.

The golfing is fun to do but the restaurant is really bad. I paid something like €17 for a club sandwich with a few fries. It consisted of rock-hard dry bread and cold chicken, for which we had to wait about half an hour. The salad took a bit longer by the way. So to hit a ball a great location, but you better skip the restaurant.

We are regulars here, and for good reason. On the weekend we bring our young boys to practice their swings in the bottom bays. And for date night we get a bay with cocktails followed by dinner. Very chic bar and restaurant. Great for double date nights!

Very nice job. But when a ball got stuck, I tried to get it out myself. However, I received a lecture from the waiter that this is really not allowed and that I am only destroying the system even more. I pay a lot of money for a fun hour, not to be lectured by the waiter. So that's why the review is low, because it's all about the experience.

Very fun to do. First time I've held a golf club in my hands, but it went quite well. If you really want to play the games, you have to be a little more advanced.

Watch out! If you book and you make a mistake you will not receive a refund! It will be added to your account. When you call you get some irritated girls on the line. Cancellation will not be confirmed. So very annoying and not clear. You cannot simply log in, but have to make some kind of dummy booking to see your account.... outdated... My advice: get another IT professional!

Very fun to do, together or as a family outing. Nice location and very friendly employees. We had a baby and the lady behind the counter immediately wanted to help us with the stroller, very thoughtful. One downside I found was that the service was a bit pushy, 20 minutes before we were ready they came to ask (twice) if we wanted something to drink at the bar.

16 euro for bread and water when they told us that it was free, burgers and fries way to much food for 1 single person, costing 23 euros, complete scam only for rich people. And the staff was rude.

The golf was great but the food was not. The waitress asked us if we wanted bread, we asked if it was free and she says yes. When we go and pay it was 8 euros and the water bottle was 8 euros. So 16 euros for a bread that was supposed to be free and a water bottle that gave us 4 SMALL glasses of water.

The activity is fun, despite some bugs in the scoring of some games. But the website is unclear, insufficient information is provided when making a reservation and the customer service is terrible. When you make a request, you are immediately told that they cannot do anything for you. For example, if you shorten the playing time of a reservation (6 weeks in advance), you will not get your money back, but you will get it back on your balance. This can only be spent on the activity, for example for a next reservation. This amount may therefore not be used for food or drinks. There is a lack of empathy and thinking, which simply makes it a less enjoyable event. Inside the bar and restaurant it is extremely noisy, not relaxed to have dinner or a drink after the activity.

Had a nice evening. Explanation from a pro. Nice to hit a ball in the form of a game. Dinner (shared dining) was good. Individual dishes tasty and of good quality. My only point was that the different dishes did not always match. (e.g. BBQ smoke dominates kimchi)

I am extremely satisfied with the excellent service I received! The team was incredibly friendly and helpful and they made sure everything went perfectly. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, which made the visit extra pleasant. I felt really welcome and appreciated. In short, a great experience that I will certainly remember and recommend to others!

Had a company event here last Friday, well organized and especially the driving range is very cool. There are plenty of jobs and staff who will help you and provide you with a drink and snack. Definitely recommended for companies, but also for those who just want to play a game.

Very fun games and good service with food and drinks

Last Saturday, March 29, 6 people played ball with a snack and a drink. At checkout we were unpleasantly surprised that there was a surcharge of €.15 on the receipt. This had to do with a 7th person who had difficulty walking and who only attended as a spectator. We were not told anything about this in advance, should she have watched from the restaurant behind the glass?? Very strange situation!! I wonder if ChiChi will do something with this.

Had a very nice experience with a group of 6 people. 1 court 2 hours, heater and drinks, absolutely great. We had a defect and quickly got a new job!

My experience at Chi Chi Gold Venue was very disappointing. Customer service doesn't deserve more than a 1. We constantly had to wait to be helped or to place our orders, which ultimately never happened. To our annoyance, guests who arrived after us were helped immediately. The golf course itself was entertaining, but attention to safety was clearly lacking. It is easy to get hit by a golf ball which makes the activity unnecessarily risky. Although the activity has potential, the staff significantly negatively impacted the experience.

This review is for the restaurant; what a bad experience. After waiting about 2 hours for our food (which is quite expensive) it was cold, so we sent it back. Attempt 2: the salmon was full of sharp bones and was also different than stated on the menu. Only ate because we were hungry. The music is so loud that you can't hear each other. The staff, although friendly, is inexperienced and seemed to forget us regularly. The price/quality ratio here is completely out of proportion. Perhaps turning down is fun, but the restaurant is not recommended, rarely have we had such bad food.

On the day of our reservation I got sick. We called in advance and asked if we could move the reservation. I was told that this was not possible and that we would not receive a refund of the amount of €60 already paid. If we wanted to come by on another date I had to pay another job of €60. Totally poor customer service and no understanding of the circumstances. I therefore recommend Chi Chi to everyone.

Really nice tent for a night out or training your skills. For the serious golfers among us, it is a thorn in the side that there are such bad balls (i.e. balls without dimples). For that reason a 3* otherwise 4.5*.

A very nice place to go with friends or family. There were 3 of us and we enjoyed eating and playing golf there. The atmosphere is good and the service is also top notch. A good fact: I love nachos, and the nachos here are really superrrrrrrrr good! I think of all the places I've ever been to, these are in the top 3. The nachos here get a big 9 from me. What we paid: 1.5 hours of golf for 3 people = €70.50 (23.50 per person). Dinner, including a few drinks and nachos for while playing golf, cost us €175.50 excluding tip. An expensive outing indeed, but a nice experience.

Not been served as well & professionally as here in a long time! The staff is incredibly helpful & of very good quality! Understand their profession, communicate with each other, as well as with us as guests. The quality of the food is excellent and the ambiance in the restaurant is very good! Fun activity if you can play a bit of golf. Came with a large group to rent 2 courts, unfortunately a sick call was made at the last minute, for which we simply had to pay. Not really customer friendly. In addition, a Canada Goose jacket appears to be mandatory for the public.

Chichi Golf is a nice place to go with friends. It is a fun activity and the explanation is clear, so you can get started quickly. Unfortunately, something went wrong with our payment. Apparently we had paid twice because it was not recorded correctly in their system. It took a while for it to be resolved, and although we got our money back in cash, we were given no apology. I thought that was a shame, because it could have been a little more professional. Apart from that, it was a fun experience and definitely recommended if you want to do something active and fun with friends!

Played golf and had drinks on Saturday, super nice location. Unfortunately, the floor manager sent us away from dinner because we had 'too much' Bacardi-Cola p/p. Apparently this was too much drink according to that person. We were informed that we would no longer receive 'alcoholic drinks', because the floor manager thought it was 'irresponsible' (while we went back by taxi). Had a nice day, played nice golf, unfortunately no drinks. Never going back

Fun to do, but overall really mass production: unfriendly operation, no explanation about the system, tips for technology, or the different games you can play. Pay 10 minutes in advance and then let the next group in, making it really mass after mass, which is a shame.

Nice concept. Very nice to do this in company. You don't need to have any experience. Reserve early as it fills up quickly. Snacks and drinks were delivered quickly. We were sorry that we received no explanation. Only thing we were told; everything is self-explanatory. Well okay? Definitely worth repeating!

Me and my girlfriend ended up here because we wanted to play golf. Upon arrival you will find a very relaxing environment. When you arrive you will be clearly explained what you have to do. You can start hitting immediately at the reserved time. You don't have to bend over because after every stroke a ball automatically comes out of the ground. Ideal! You can participate in all kinds of games, such as 'who can hit the furthest'. Very nice, but I doubt whether this is accurate. With the naked eye you can see that the ball went less far than the other, but the system still indicated that one went further. Other than that a fantastic day out!

Nice informal way to play golf, but only fun if you can do it.
