Beautiful place. It was once just a visitor center with coffee machines. Now it's a tourist hub. Perhaps not as sustainable, but it's certainly charming.

I had a soft drink on the terrace. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast. The tobacco smoke on the terrace was less pleasant. Not from the guests, but from the (kitchen) staff. It's a shame, because this will affect the review.

Great cup of coffee with a treat, but the service is often chaotic and slow.

Great coffee break for a sunday's hiking

Nice place. Very pleasant for a drink after a walk. I wouldn't recommend the strawberry banana smoothie, though. The fruit flavor was lacking. It was basically just yogurt. That was a shame.

Beautiful location to eat now in the summer with children or after the holiday period with acquaintances.

I can't believe there are wasp traps hanging from all the bushes around the patio! This is absolutely unacceptable, Utrecht Landscape! Selling organic food and bee-friendly products in the store while killing insects. STOP THIS.

A lovely little place to grab a drink after your forest walk. Friendly and cheerful staff, which makes it even more enjoyable.

Nice location nice waitresses but little atmosphere and yes the prices of coffee, tea, lemonade and beer again much and much too high. Sandwiches of very neat high quality and very tasty and nicely decorated.

You can sit on the terrace when the weather is nice and inside when it is a bit less. Friendly staff and a perfect stop halfway through our walk.

A beautiful historic place in a beautiful park-like landscape. In the coach house you will receive prompt and friendly service. Delicious lunch dishes (in our case) at a reasonable price. Ideal place for a family meeting like we did.

It is the visitors center of the nature reserve, so it is not a real brasserie. But a nice place to have something to drink and/or eat after a walk.. friendly staff..

I always really enjoy it there. Do not have bad experience with service or cake. It is a treat that there is a terrace in Beerschoten, a place to drink coffee in the early morning, with a brownie, and then return home. This is what we missed for years in Houdinge and Beerschoten!

Had a drink after a walk, initially a nice relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately the service is terrible. We sat with dirty cups in front of us for a long time. When I went to the bar after a while to ask if someone was coming to take my order, I was greeted very unfriendly with "we're coming". The order was then reluctantly taken. The ladies preferred to have fun with each other behind the bar and had no regard for the guests at all. When I wanted to report during checkout that there was no paper in the toilets, the response was indifferent. “That's every day, the device is broken. The dirty wet rag that I thought a child had forgotten turned out to be the towel! Very unfortunate for an opportunity with so much potential. Don't go here again!

Beautiful place, unfortunately not always open due to disappointing crowds. Now better opening hours and good communication. Quite busy but pleasant.

After a walk we had a drink and a snack, luckily we were able to get a seat, it was extremely busy, so unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for our order!

It's nice that there are restaurants nearby, but cappuccino was a deception, even disgusting. Adjust the machine better and have the staff take a barista course. A shame for such an expensive device. Nothing negative about the staff, everything else was fine.

Few really good seats, it seemed like they had room for larger groups. Or the layout was just a bit weird. The thing is, we had a coupon for coffee or tea with apple pie, but I wouldn't go there so quickly. The tea (Clipper tea bags) was good but the apple pie tasteless. It was as if there was no sugar in it at all! It's great that this is available for people who are allowed little or no sugar, but let me decide for myself whether I want to eat a sugar bomb. I also thought that the staff could use a refresher course. Just ask if everything is to your liking, and if you see empty cups; ask if they would like to drink more. The 3 positive stars are therefore actually for "Utrecht Landscape".

Nice place to relax on the terrace after a walk in the forest. Too bad the quality of the food and drinks is so poor. Bitterballen (chicken) with appetizers taste strange in combination with the mustard, we left out the (vegetable) croquettes and unfortunately the cheese sticks are not real cheese sticks. Unfortunately, we have also had bad experiences with the quality of the beers and wines. Nevertheless, the (inexperienced) staff is very friendly.

It was too busy to order. There is too little to judge. A downside is ordering via a QR code. For the elderly, having a menu available is friendlier and easier.

Nice location at Beerschoten Estate. After a walk in the woods, you can relax on the terrace or, if it is cooler, you can sit inside. There is also a nice children's playground. Food is excellent, something for everyone. We like coming here. It is wheelchair accessible and equipped with a disabled toilet.

Lovely and beautiful forest for walking. Dogs are allowed on a leash, very nice area to stroll around! Nice walking routes marked out. Nowadays there is a very nice café/restaurant in the coach house. Recently had a delicious coffee with something tasty, also nice for breakfast or lunch. I will definitely come back again! It's very nice that dogs are allowed inside.

After a relaxing walk in the woods we arrived at the carriage house, but it quickly felt chaotic. There was no reception and the tables were full of dishes from previous guests. We finally took a seat at a free table and waited 15 minutes, after which we went to the bar to order. This was unkindly rejected as orders had to be taken at the table. After insisting, this was still possible, but 15 minutes later we received our order. The apple pastry was not available so we chose another pastry. The espresso was bitter and lacked the crema layer. There was a lot of coffee grounds on the rim of the cappuccino cup that was unappetizing. The carrot fig cake was tasty, but we never saw the whipped cream again. In total it took 50 minutes for a simple cup of coffee and cake. We were left with an uneasy feeling about this experience. The location is beautiful and this may have been a one-off, so we'll give it a second chance. Our advice: start by improving the organization for a smoother flow of customers and maintaining peace and overview.

Painfully bad experiences, we were in Utrecht on October 24 around 4:30 PM and looked at their website, it was written; We at Holle Bilt 6 in De Bilt are open until 6 p.m. so we made the trip (in bad weather/rain) to this restaurant to have something to eat and arrived around 5:05 p.m. There were 2 bored staff members hanging at the buffet who looked at us with a slanted eye...eventually I went to them where I was informed very coldly that the kitchen was closed...in short we had to drain again, but the chef was on the counter. At the last minute we were told that this was very customer unfriendly because the website said it was open until 6 p.m. it would have been for them to bake 2 pancakes for us, that is ultimately the core of the catering profession, customer service, customer friendliness and nothing more... anyway very bad turn on their part... not recommended!!

Good terrace, cozy inside too. Service is young and enthusiastic, sometimes a bit disorganized when it's busy. But the weather is nice and you are enjoying a drink and a snack - so who cares!

The location is truly fantastic. The Carriage House is located just behind the edge of the forest. You can relax there, away from all the hustle and bustle. Spacious terrace and space is at your disposal. A play area has also been created for very small children. And that in the middle of nature. Get away for a while, wonderful.

Beautiful spacious terrace, beautiful playground, beautiful walks, beautiful building. Also inside there are some nice things for young children to see. The card could be a bit more accessible and is heavily priced.

Excellent tea and soup. Tomato soup was not hot enough. Sculpture garden with most bronze statues in the immediate vicinity.

Too much noise from the kitchen. And furthermore, it is very noisy in the shop. A small group came in with pleasant people, but their enjoyment drowned out the whole thing, there was nothing to dampen the sound a bit.

Had something to eat and drink for the first time after the renovation. To eat Food was really tasty and natural products were used everywhere. And fresh. Ordered soup and it came with the rest of the food. Which was strange. We had to wait a very long time for our food. Which was a shame. Stipulation Was bad No people with a catering background. No leadership. Everyone just did whatever. Didn't ask if we wanted anything else when a glass or food was taken away. You can take a short or long walk here. Parking is free and you can have a bite to eat at Van de Valk 100 m away.

Nice location but the prices are extremely high: like almost 4 euros for mini slice of lemon cake. A bowl of water was offered for the dog.

Normally I would give 4 stars, but I notice that more and more dogs are coming. People from the area may recognize that they avoid the dog field because it is packed with dogs that run loose and are often not kept under control. Today they were even running loose and one peed on the planter. I sincerely hope this doesn't become a dog hotspot too... then I won't come More.

Nice place to walk through the forest with marked paths. There is a sculpture garden and meadow landscape that you pass through. A cup of coffee or tea as a reward is always nice. Small shop with nice souvenirs available.
