Restaurant Koetshuis Beerschoten in De Bilt Oost

We had lunch this afternoon, and only after finishing our coffee did we learn that the water in our coffee cups hadn't been boiled, despite the recommendation to do so in the Utrecht region due to the enterococcus virus in tap water. It was scandalous and dangerous not to report this in advance. Hopefully, no one gets sick.

Had lunch here this afternoon. A truly fantastic experience. The zucchini soup with mackerel rillette was exceptional. The bread was delicious. The service was very attentive. It's a shame there have been other experiences, but this time it was absolutely delicious for us. I'm sure they have a very good chef.

Beautiful location, but the food was terrible. It took a very long time to arrive, and the quality was poor. The pasta was already cold and not at all special, especially not for the price. The burger was also cold and inedible. Unfortunately,

I'm amazed by the reviews of this restaurant. This afternoon it was chaos. Service was nonexistent. After 10 minutes, I went to the counter myself to order; there was a rather ironic sign that said they would come to the table to take their order. After ordering, I waited 15 minutes for coffee and apple pie, which turned out to be out of stock. Both the cappuccino and espresso were burnt and had coffee pulp on the rim of the cup. Wow, that's terrible. And the worst part is 3.70? For a cup? Not bad if it's good, but not if it's not! Time for a good manager.

We often come here after walking the dog. He's welcome too, which is very nice. Lately, the restaurant seems to be struggling a bit, and the staff seems to be struggling. Especially during the holidays, it gives the impression that there are a few girls around who still need to learn their stuff, or who don't take it as seriously. We've experienced a few times where people see you coming and wait a very long time for service. When it's busy, we understand that, but several times that wasn't the case, and the ladies were more occupied with chatting than with their work. It's a shame, because this is such a beautiful location, and it should be cherished. Staff shortages are probably also a factor. We left today. To end on a positive note, the quality of the products is simply good, and we'll keep coming back.

Ordered coffee and cake on the terrace. The cappuccino was delicious as was the accompanying cookie. It's a good thing I ate the cookie after the apple pie, otherwise the apple pie would have been even more disappointing. This one was very tasteless. It's always a shame when cuts are made on the right ingredients. In this case the butter.

Nice place very close to the forest. Very friendly staff. Had a nice experience today and dog friendly.

Beautiful green location and delicious sandwiches.

Delicious, large piece of apple pie. I think this apple pie is baked from scratch. There is plenty to do outside with a lovely playground for children. The atmosphere inside is a bit chilly, but that is made up for by the friendly service.

Beautiful (new) restaurant, great outdoor location with lovely (also/partly) covered terrace. Tasty dishes and nice service. Definitely place to come back!

Vriendelijk personeel, maar wel lang wachten op het eten. Het soepje met boterham was aan de kleine kant. Daarna nog wat borrelhappen besteld om de buik te vullen.

In een prachtige omgeving (wij kwamen er langs tijdens de NS wandelroute Beerschoten) kun je hier heerlijk ontbijten of lunchen. Wij lunchten er zeer smaakvol met een spinaziesalade met makreel en een couscoussalade met geitenkaas. De espresso als afsluiter was echt top! De menukaart ziet er leuk uit. Wel aan de prijzige kant…

Mooie rustige plek om lekker te lunchen of wat te drinken. Voor de kinderen is er een leuke speeltuin die heel natuurlijk is aangelegd met oa een boomhut en een waterpomp. In de speeltuin zijn voldoende zitgelegenheden voor ouders om de kinderen in de gaten te houden

Leuk nieuw restaurant met vriendelijke bediening. De kaart is wat ingewikkeld als je niet van kaas houdt. Het Berenschot plankje is een aanrader.

Lekker roerei gehad op een heerlijk terras in de zon. Fijn zo’n nieuwe plek in De Bilt 🙂

Fijne ambiance, heerlijk geluncht. Goed belegd broodje, zeer smaakvol, is tegenwoordig niet meer in iedere zaak zo. Genoeg zit mogelijkheden en ruimte voor de kinderen om zich te vermaken.

Wat een wereldplek. Heerlijk gegeten.
