Amsterdam Roest in Oostelijke Eilanden/Kadijken

Such a jaw dropping bar/restaurant! Let's just put a beach in the middle of an industrial facility. There's so much going on. I'm still inspired years later!

Roest is located at an industrial area with old warehouses. I just love the vibe at Amsterdam Roest. It’s so laid back and relaxed. A bit underground as well. Since this winter you can grab dinner at the Red Snack, a huge red English bus, where you can get snack food like a burger and roti roll with chicken. On Sunday’s there a special brunch concept at Amsterdam Roest between 12 – 4 pm. Expect sandwiches, eggs, fruit and pastry. When the weather is nice and warm. It’s such a great spot to relax in one of the beach chairs with your feet in the sand. All year round there are events at Roest. From markets to warehouse parties and festivals.

Nice place but not as a neighbor. As a local I lived right next to it for almost 10 years (at the czaar peterstraat), and Roest visitors make a lot of noise at night. I moved to a quiet street in Amsterdam Noord but now the owners of Roest want to start a big venue in my new, very quiet, rustique neighborhood. Not good. They want to turn the whole of Amsterdam into a hipster version of Disneyworld.

Leuke locatie. Relaxte sfeer! En het broodje beuker was goddelijk!

Still an amazing place even after the construction that ruined the old place next to Roast, great service and friendly environment I totally recommend this for anyone that wants to chill and eat

Unique bar concept, however currently slightly obstructed by construction sites.

26 juli 2019 Ben ik er geweest! Achter de bar staat een hele onbeschofte barvrouw!!! Ze kan niet eens een normaal biertje tappen 🙈 Deze is zeker niet geschikt voor in de horeca, deze dame had ik als het mijn tent was per direct ontslagen!!! Ze kan beter soliciteren als schoonmaker. Voor de rest is het wel een leuke tent Een tip voor de eigenaar van Roest! Het gaat niet om een slecht getapt biertje!! Maar om personeel die echt met plezier achter een bar willen staan!

Geweldig sfeervolle locatie voor eenvoudige lunch, drankje of dinerhap. Zitplaatsen binnen, buiten en strandje.

Ligt op een noordelijk eiland in A-dam. achter de kantoren van oa het Parool en de Trouw. Erg kunstzinnig. Goed en voldoende eten. Vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader om iets anders mee te maken mbt uitgaan en uit eten te gaan. Vlakbij parkeerplaatsen, wel tegen betaling natuurlijk.

Wat een fantastische plek! De sfeer die er hangt is super relaxed en gezellig. Een prachtig industrieel gebouw met een toffe aankleding. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Je bestelt je drankjes en eten aan de bar en rekent direct af. Het eten was snel klaar en smaakte erg goed. En alle gerechten zijn €10 of minder! In de zomer kan je chillen op het strand, ik kom dan zeker terug!

Very cozy and atmospheric place with a little beach and a possibility to jump in the water. So bad it's going to be closed soon

Lieu incroyable, super bien décoré, bien pensé jusque dans les toilettes ! Les serveurs sont cools également on se sent comme chez soi. Le seul bémol serait la nourriture un peu chère et qui pourrait être meilleure. Sinon, cela reste un endroit qui me marquera.

Excellent atmosphere, perfect for a nice summer day. Grab a drink and food from inside and hang out on the terrace, it makes for a very nice evening.

The oustide part is closed now , not pleasent anymore to go there , especially during summer

I like the atmosphere of this bar and reasonable prices. Also we ordered pizza and it was the best pizza I ever eat in Amsterdam.

Top tent! Fijne sfeer lekkere muziekje erbij, een mooie plekje om van je bier te genieten.

Super nice hier. Viel liebe fürs Detail und eine super Bierauswahl. Schade das drum herum gebaut wird, aber abends ist das ja egal.
