Loud music everywhere, and here too. Why?! A spot in the middle of a green park where you can hear birdsong is ruined by excessively loud music. From the other side, the screaming of children in the playground. So, for someone who is hypersensitive to stimuli, it's not a place to sit and enjoy the greenery. I quickly moved on!

Although complaints about the (too loud) music have been heard before, Pompet doesn't seem to care much about what the customers think. Do you really need to play music on a sunny Sunday afternoon around 12:30? It's a park. I expect different sounds in a park, and the world is noisy enough. We wanted a long lunch, but as you can imagine, we lost interest.

This place is under new management (from the owners of Sans and Skate Cafe) now and is getting the long awaited make-over people are commenting about.

Today was my first time. At first it seemed ok but everything is dilapidated!! The service leaves something to be desired! They put their bare hands on the potatoes after they fell on the table. While I was there, 2 customers came to complain that the chocomelk was sour. She had bought it for the children. Another lady came with a juice that she hadn't asked for. She gave her something else. The toilets were pathetic. Very dirty and smelled very bad. I wanted to get a coffee but I actually couldn't! I only took what was packaged. It is a special and intimate place with great potential plus it has a playground and lots of greenery! Invest in this place!!!

Great place, terrible service. I left after waiting in line for half an hour. It's really not that complicated, but I think the people at Pompet think so.

Phew, this was a disappointment today. What happened to this place? So much potential, we have been coming there for years and you now know that you sometimes have to wait a little longer, but that usually makes up for the nice terrace and cozy atmosphere. Today, however, the food was so bad, and I'm talking about a toasted sandwich and a side dish (!). That order took 40 minutes. The sandwich was dry, the cheese was not melted, the pieces of bread were very uneven and were cut in half (?).. The fries were no longer on the menu, which was a loss, but hey, that's personal. There was a lot of glass on the terrace, even though this is the place to come with children and dogs. All in all, a downer for the first time this season.

Truly the WORST sandwich I have ever ordered anywhere. They used to have thick, tasty toasted sandwiches, nowadays a kind of sports canteen toasted sandwich and really a small child could do even better; cheese not melted & outside burned. I don't know what happened to pompet but there is really nothing left of it. Inside, the week's dirty plates are still piled high in the kitchen. In any case, I won't be coming back.

Picturesque spot in the park, but even by Amsterdam standards the service is very slow and disinterested. Fine to get a drink at the bar, but I would skip the food here.

Seems like the place needs a general makeover because it’s mad busy and the manager seems too incompotent having only a single brain cell to work with.

El ambiente relajante se mejoró aún más con algo de jazz suave y melodías clásicas tocando de fondo. I had the pleasure of visiting this lovely spot in the heart of Amsterdam Noord, and it was the perfect setting for a casual lunch! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the location, nestled in a beautiful park, adds to the charm. I went with my family and we ended up trying a variety of their delicious treats, all of which were fantastic. One of the highlights was trying my first glühwein, which was the perfect cozy touch to our meal. The relaxing vibe was further enhanced by some smooth jazz and classic tunes playing in the background. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, great atmosphere, and a laid-back, enjoyable experience!

They had very little variety to eat and no gluten-free options.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. This cafe has so much potential it's almost tragic. The menu is promising and the food is good. But the service? A masterclass in waiting. It seems like the wait staff has a bet on who can be the most clueless. Want to see what chaos looks like in slow motion? Come here and enjoy… well, your own patience.

Nice little café to spend the afternoon. Possible to play pétanque and sandbox for children

This place is a joke. So much potential and super nice location next to a playground but they just make prices up.. this was me and my friend both ordering a hot chocolate and got two very different sized drinks. Which we paid the same amount for. The larger one also had whipped cream ontop. And instead of going ooops my bad and making a new one when pointing this out to the manager I was told there’s two different sizes on the new menu that doesn’t exist yet. Like I should magically know that?! When there’s no menu or price list AT ALL for hot drinks. And giving me attitude. All which is besides the fact everything move in snail pace and getting drinks takes forever and a long line of people waiting when it’s really not very busy. Sad I leave angry every time I’ve been here and it could be an amazing spot! Update as reply to the comment below: Funny. How about not taking lack of competence out on your paying customers that keeps you going? You’re lying about the menu. You said you didn’t have one printed yet, but still referred me to it when questioning the difference in size. That we both paid the same for. If this was a community project or something, it would be fine if the prices were low but service not great, but you’re a normal company with normal prices just not able to keep a normal standard of service or attitude to your customers. Bizarre really.

It was September 22. beautiful weather and so the children's party can be celebrated at the Noorderpark.

This is also Noorderpark in Amsterdam. It is an oasis where you can spend your afternoon, alone or together.

Location is very nice, and food is good, but waiting times are over 50 minutes even when not busy.

A great place to get a drink and snacks for when you are in the park!

Good option to stop off and enjoy drinks and food surrounded by nature. There is a small playground in the bar and a larger one a few meters away, thus making it a great choice for families with (small) children. Large outdoor sitting possibilities.

Every time I come here the service is so bad. Like really bad. 55 mins for fries! But the awful thing of they say is unusually busy, making excuses for how bad they are. It’s been the same every time. Although last time as 45 mins for a cider. This is a privileged position in irresponsible and incompetent hands

Super cozy tent. Good atmosphere, nice decor, beautiful terrace, child-friendly and delicious food. The staff is friendly and alert and there is a pleasant atmosphere. Every time I am at Pompet I feel happy. ❤️

We came here for a drink. The food was mediocre. But the music was too loud to have any conversation at all. The worst part was the service, which was so bad. On top of that, the owner has a lax attitude towards customers and is quite disinterested and rude. It is also a very child-unfriendly place. For me it is the first and also the last time that I will come here.

Outdoor seating the place to be when eating here. So much going on. Plenty of bike parking.

Recently landed here for beers and bitterballen. There is enough control, but they haven't really gotten the hang of it yet. There was a girl rinsing glasses with one hand and then putting the glass upright... can someone train her... furthermore, our bitterballen were missing and it took a really long time before drinks were brought to the table. And then there was also a double order on the receipt that we did not receive. The location is really great, and so is the decoration. I will definitely come again, but I sincerely hope that everything goes a little more smoothly. Bitterballen were very tasty.

Cute spot in the middle of the park!

Crazy, funky, cool little (interior that is) cafe with a big terrace for the sunny days situated in the middle of a relaxed, grassy park. The atmosphere takes your mind far away from the city without really leaving the city. Simple food and nice sandwiches are prepared with quality ingredients as well as a lot of care. Nice selection of drinks and beers. They even make sweet tea 🤎 and it's not too sweet, so don't be afraid. Order it. I really loved this place. Can't wait to go back.

We had a delicious meal there last Saturday. We were received very warmly. The fire was on, a very nice atmosphere. The food was great and had an elegant presentation and was clearly prepared with love. I understood that there is a new chef who has raised the quality. Highly recommended for a wonderful evening out!

Wat een teleurstelling. Het was mijn eerste keer en waarschijnlijk ook gelijk mijn laatste. De bediening leek totaal niet geïnteresseerd en behulpzaam. “Geitenwollen sokken” typetjes wel. We wilden na onze eten rondom 20:00 uur op zondag nog graag een toetje bestellen, maar helaas werd ons verteld dat "onze keuken gesloten is". Het eten daarentegen was prima. Dat is de reden waarom ik 2 sterren geef.

Service could be better, waited 2 hours for a French fries

Nice place to come for drinks, but don’t order food - you can wait for it for an hours. Ordered fries and sandwich, were waiting for it 1,5 hour. Just leave the place without the food.

Hele fijne plek! Waar de prijzen nog redelijk zijn, met een prettige ontspannen sfeer, geweldige locatie en een divers publiek! Heb er een heel goed feestje gegeven voor ongeveer 80 mensen. De communicatie vooraf verliep erg prettig, er werd vlot en helder gecommuniceerd. Op de avond zelf was de sfeer ook erg ontspannen en flexibel.

Leuk, eenvoudig tentje in t Noorderpark. De bediening is supervriendelujk. De kaart is klein, maar het eten is lekker. Je kunt heerlijkbij de houtkachel zitten in de winter.

Altijd leuk om hier een hapje of drankje te doen. Erg leuk personeel in de bediening en de sfeer is altijd goed.

Very nice place, delicious snacks, friendly service. Only coffee does not always taste the same to me. Sometimes black coffee is not good and other times it is good. Recently, my black coffee had a very dirty taste. I didn't drink it.

Leuke plek. Geeft meer leven in het Noorderpark.

Dit is w.s. een zogenaamde hippe plek. Om een middagje met je kinderen een ijsje of patatje te eten o.k. je kleine kinderen kunnen daar ravotten en plezier maken. Voor om daar een lekkere maaltijd te nuttigen is het een waardeloze plek. Zitgelegenheid houten stoelen, onbeqwem en vies.

Leuk en gezellig. Hapje en een drankje, muziek en prima personeel.

Voor de eerste keer gegeten hier. Super leuke omgeving in het park. De bediening is fantastisch en het eten heerlijk. Ik had een ham kaas tosti en deze zag er heel goed uit en smaakte voortreffelijk. Was ook niet weinig en zeer goed belegd. We hadden ook de champignons met brood. Alles heerlijk en goede prijzen 5 sterren. Ik kom zeker nog terug.

I loved this cafe that I found by chance on my birthday. They offered me a cake and even a candle (sparkler). The foods are outstanding, and the staff is friendly.

Bel locale all'interno del parco. Ottimo per un pranzo o uno spuntino. Il servizio è per niente attento e gli ordini vengono presi a memoria, dovendo quindi ricordare diverse volte la comanda. Comunque lo consiglio.

Mooiste geheimpje van Amsterdam!

If you happen to be in the park of Amsterdam Noord this is a hidden gem you should definitely consider for a quick bite or a coffee. Service is smily, coffee is great, decor shows an attention to details and the overall ambience is laid back with style. So many of these cafes in Amsterdam parks are at best boring that this one deserves a praise !

Aardappelblokje, kool (geen zuurkool) en spek. Ronduit smerig! Fondue met een keiharde wortel en andere rauwe groenten, direct doodgeslagen bier en zure sauvignon blan. Nog nooit zoiets meegemaakt

Un lugar maravilloso ubicado en el medio del parque. Excelente ubicación, excelente menú. Te hace sentir totalmente alejado del ajetreo y el bullicio de la ciudad. Seguro que volveremos!

Es increíble cómo, a solo un corto viaje de Amsterdam CS, este parque tiene un lugar tan genial para los lugareños y los visitantes más aventureros de la capital. Un lugar fabuloso para una buena comida de buena calidad. Este encantador café restaurante está en el centro de Noorderpark. Por lo tanto, se requiere un viaje en ferry y en bicicleta, pero sin duda vale la pena el viaje cuando hace buen tiempo. El menú es pequeño pero bien elegido. Todos tuvimos un plato de paté de caballa y tuve un excelente bistec bavette con ensalada. La única decepción fue la tarta de manzana. Una comida de tres platos con un poco de vino y servicio fue de aproximadamente 47 € por cabeza. El personal es encantador y el restaurante atrae a una multitud joven y linda en la noche. Música británica de los 80 durante la mayor parte de la velada. Te guste o no, de alguna manera funcionó bien con el ambiente. Incluso encienden fuegos por las mesas exteriores en la noche. Hay mucho para ver mientras comes tu comida, con conejos y patos corriendo por el parque y gente jugando al tanque junto al restaurante.
