Anne&Max on Fahrenheitstraat feels like a warm living room in the heart of The Hague. We enjoyed a delicious organic breakfast and a perfect cappuccino, prepared by enthusiastic baristas. The flexible workspaces, reading nooks, and free Wi-Fi make it perfect for a relaxing morning. The warm hospitality of the new owner enhances the community feel.

Super nice cafe, it's a day and night difference since the new owner, on previous visits we saw the owner insulting the employees and even discriminating. Fortunately the atmosphere seems completely different now, the coffee was delicious and the food too.

Food is far below average, everyone makes something of a higher standard at home, it is shocking when you sit down somewhere to eat something and you pay 15 euros for it while it is boring and dry. Chips with your meal, tasteless, cheap and lack of nuance and personality in this chain is indescribable after having been here several times and tried something else.

Very good coffee and very nice people. Menu is varied and very tasty. Sufficient vegetarian options but also tasty chicken and salmon. Everything with an eye for planet earth. Relaxed place to have breakfast.

It's not really the food I'm used to, but it was still tasty :) Service was very good!

15 euros for a focaccia with melted cheese and you get this meager sandwich. Unfortunately peanut butter 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I understand that the prices unfortunately have to be high due to rent, energy and wages, but then I expect a well-made focaccia.

Ik kom al jaren bij Anne en Max op de fahrenheitstraat. Ook al hebben ze zoals bijna overal moeite met de personele bezetting rond te krijgen , vind ik het een voorbeeld van gastvrijheid. Er lopen een aantal fantastische medewerkers rond. Vrolijk, vriendelijk, super meedenkend en betrokken. Lekker eten , lekkere koffie. Wat wil je nog meer . Ik ben fan!

3.75 for a croissant with a few chocolate sprinkles seems a bit ridiculous. The rest of the food is definitely not worth the price either. The staff were however lovely and helpful

Horrible change regarding staff, younger waiters chat to each other while people are waiting to be served, waited 15 minutes before getting up and asking for someone to come to our table, was early morning, not many people, heating not turned on while its 4 degrees outside, horror

They communicate warmly.. They should be more careful about beverage service, I didn't like the hot chocolate, Coffee was good. It may be better to serve hot drinks by warming the glasses in this weather. The meal my friend chose came as a very satisfying portion and looked to have nice filling ingredients. I haven't experienced the food yet 😊 Next time I will go again for the food, best regards...

By chance I sat on this terrace in the beautiful autumn sun. Service nice. But with coffee we got a 3/4 cookie. According to the waitress that was because of the box. Then ordered a focaccia chicken piri piri for €13.75. Well.... It was half a focaccia. And there was 2 kilos of arugula on the plate and 400 grams of carrot scraps on the sandwich. And 3 grams of chicken. So I reported it to the waiter and he agreed with me. After 5 minutes we got new focaccia and this time with a little more chicken but still not for €13.75…. Disappointing experience like that.

Service is slow, also the system has a delay which makes the waitress staying next to the table for super long, while the system is proceeding the order. I personally, didn’t like the “free of laptops terrace” policy, especially on sunny days when people prefer to sit outside, but are not able to work, because of that. Outside, I had to wait a lot for just taking my order, then I moved inside to ask if I can order and the order was taken then. The QR codes for ordering are not working, and also there is no option to order a bottle of water through the QR code.

Anne&max is one of my favorite cafes. This location is the very best in the turn. bEven though their menu is not very extensive, I always find it safer and more pleasant to eat and drink in a café whose quality and hygiene are known to everyone.

Nice lunch, nice/fast staff but unfortunately a very unfriendly owner. For this reason we will never come here again. Shame! My tip to you: put up a sign with a laptop-free terrace. Then people can take that into account if they want to eat/drink something with you. It does not give you a good feeling when you order food and drinks and are then chased off the terrace in a disrespectful manner. It doesn't matter that it is a laptop-free terrace, but what matters is the tone of what is said. Fortunately, Lunchroom Zondag at the end of the street has understood something about customer friendliness.

Hello, since you ask, I'll tell you why I gave it only one star. Yesterday I had lunch with a friend who just returned from vacation and brought me a sweet snack as present, the size of a KitKat. After the salads and the cups of tea that we ordered, I took a bite of the sweet that my friend brought me, then the waitress immediately came over to tell me it's not allowed to consume anything brought from outside, it's a manager rule, the waitress said. Even when the rule seemed absurd to me, I respected it. It's the first time something like this happens to me here and everywhere. I did not feel appreciated as customer. Great service and many vegetarian and vegan options! Scrambled egg was tasty, as was the chai latte. Salad bowls could have been seasoned a little more, but nothing to complain about. Definitely a nice place

One of my go to place in the neighbourhood for coffee 🙂 I can go alone and with my son as well as they have toys so he doesn’t get bored. I like the food (tried some cakes) also love the coffee. The place is spacious so it seems not really busy if there is a lot of people.

Nice place on the corner of the main high street. Lots of people with laptops sitting in the corner but also mama's with young kiddies. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Nice ambiance and tasty coffee. It is a nice and hip place and that is probably the reason why the sandwich has a hip name and costs twice as much as it is worth. By the way, I don't mean to say that the “focaccia” double cheese wasn't tasty.

The best coffee place on the Fahrenheitstraat den Haag hang on with friends especially my best friend Andy Williams. They have got very lekker chese toasty and lattee with double espresso shot. Must taste coffee and toasty. Highly recommended if you are living nearby or just passing by 😀.

De zoveelste onprettige ervaring bij Anne en Max in de Fahrenheitstraat. Zaak op zich is mooi en het terras nog mooier, behalve als ze er geen zin in hebben om alle tafels ter beschikking te stellen als er zon is, ‘mag niet van de manager’. Al een paar keer eerder onprettig behandeld daar, geen horeca-mensen blijkbaar, mijn 2 gezelschapsgenoten hadden ook al dat soort ervaring. Duidelijk te merken dat het personeel is zonder betrokkenheid. Gelukkig zijn er meer lokaties voor lekkere én beter geprijsde koffie in de buurt… geen Anne en Max meer voor mij, blijf het niet proberen !

Had a salmon sandwich. Have to say the worst ever so far!!! Was full of pesto and carrots. I wanted to enjoy salmon and it was almost not available. Shame! I was only able to enjoy my orange juice

Enorm dikke boterhammen met relatief weinig beleg. Lekkere koffie en erg plezierige bediening.

Ik ging mijn dochter opzoeken met haar oma’s en had een high tea gereserveerd. Ik had me alleen vergist in de dag en was er dus de dag vóór de reservering. Ze waren super aardig daarover en gelukkig konden we blijven en genieten van de heerlijke high tea! Met heerlijke wraps, broodjes en super scones en taart! Ook de thee smaken waren erg lekker. We hebben genoten ook van de sfeer in het restaurant. Ik kom er vast nog eens terug!

Enjoyed a fresh mint tea and their Double Cheese Tosti...very good. Nice, comfortable and welcoming surroundings. Friendly and helpful service. A relaxing place to have coffee or lunch.

Buiten op terras lunch. Veel herrie van omgeving. Wel Leuk enthousiaste jonge dame die ons hielp. Gebakken Ei was ok maar de karige boterham met doperwten spread was smakeloos en dus vies. Wie wil dit nou eten??? De andere met tomaten spread was te zuur. Koffie was goed maar voor de 15 euro p.p. dus echt niet genoten. Nogmaals service was heel vriendelijk.

Ik vond het erg lekker wat weinig boter heb er wat bij gehaald maar dat kopje koffie had bij het ontbijtje best bij kunnen zijn ik vond het erg duur als ik een rijstafel bestel ben ik het zelfde kwijd en blijft ernog wat over ook

Koffie warm niet heet en na het wachten op de zoetjes lauw. Is het nu zo moeilijk om gewoon zoetje of gewoon wat suiker erbij te doen? Het pkezier van een goed kopje koffie was wel weg

Leuk had gedacht dat we bij vier kopjes koffie wel meer dan 1 stempel kregen in plaats van 1 misschien toch minimaal 2 maar de koffie is lekker en vrouwtje was aangenaam verast, leuk ook dat er huiskamer banken staan ook dat je een soort van thuis idee heb zeg maar en lekker tegen elkaar kan zitten

Altijd goed! Ik hou van de menukaart, fijne combinaties en bijzondere dingen maar toch redelijk geprijsd. Chai latte is favoriet.

Modern. Es gab eine Art craft-Bier mit u a Zitrone und beheizte Sitzkissen auf der straße bei 7 Grad. Und - beides war sehr gut. Karte hat mir gefallen aber kein Hunger leider.

The Brunch for 2 people was so good. I didn't give it a 5 stars for the noise that was coming out of some kids and I understand totally it's a family place but i wish the parents were more considerate

The Dutch Apple Tart is a piece of heaven on a plate. The whipped cream did not disappoint. It had a perfect amount of cinnamon. The coffee was rich and hearty and the slight bitter taste complimented and counter balanced the sweet and indulgence of the apple tart. So pleased I caved into this guilty and spontaneous pleasure.

Nice place, good food but overcrowded. The place is so jam packed with tables that one must shout to have a normal conversation. Too bad.

Genoten van de uitgebreide feestdagenplank als ontbijt. Divers en uitgebreid, meer dan genoeg voor 2 personen.

Leuke zaak maar voor mij als autist te druk. Kwebbelende mensen, de muziek op de achtergrond; nee, niet echt mijn ding helaas. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

The prices for hot drinks are between 1-2 euro higher than better individual owned places, with way better quality and service. No use of toilet, which was to be expected due to covid regulations, but individual owned cafes tend to do you a favor. What really made me mad is the fact they don’t give loyalty card stamps due to covid. I know it’s hard to come by for bussiness owners, but i would be way more inclined to help them out by visiting daily if they would still offer some of their former service.

Erg goed. Wij hebben 2 broodjes besteld en wij krijgen deze in een 'correct' karton doosje. De smaak was perfect! De bediening super vriendelijk. Mijn kleindochter kon daarvoor het sausje van haar broodje proeven. Erg slim: mogen geen gasten binnen? Dan verkopen wij koffie en broodje op straat!!!

Tijdens een wandeling hier even opgewarmd voor cappuccino en thee. Leuke zaak, gezellig ingericht. Ik zou zelf alleen niet tegen de wc aan gaan zitten, raar dat zelfs daar twee tafeltjes staan? Duurde best even voordat we konden bestellen. Thee (de goedkoopst te bestellen variant) staat op de kaart voor 4,10. Dit krijg je in een zwart theepotJE met zwart kommetje zonder oortje. Hierdoor kun je dus niet zien hoe sterk/slap je thee is. Gee koekje erbij, de suiker was vergeten. De cappuccino had iets warmer gemogen. Voor een volgende keer sla ik over, dan zijn er betere alternatieven in de Fahrenheitstraat te bedenken.
