My favorite lunch spot in The Hague with lots of different options. Delicious food and drinks! Try the pornstar French toast and the stracciatella and pistachio sandwich!

Went here for brunch. Bad dining experience. The fish in the fish and chips meal was overcooked, dry and oily batter. I found a hair in the egg and salmon dish in the picture, which had to be remade. You don't get the same experience of other Ted franchises in London. Such a shame, as the staff seemed inexperienced.

We had lunch here. The sandwiches were delicious. There wasn't much choice of drinks. The cakes were incredibly chemically flavorful and initially tasted nothing, eventually even tasting like soap. The price-quality ratio is not recommended!

We had booked, the waitress showed us a table, customers already seated asked to move, so the waitress moved us to another table and put us in a corner at the back of the restaurant. I do not recommend it.

We found TEDS on TikTok through other people’s recommendations. The service was very friendly. As a waitress myself, I’d just suggest that staff check in at least once during the meal — our table was full of empty plates the whole time. The food was okay, but we had to wait a long time, and others who arrived after us got their meals before we did. When our food finally came, the fries were missing. The waiter said they’d arrive in a minute, but they showed up about 15 minutes later, after we had already finished eating, and they were really hard and not enjoyable. Considering the restaurant wasn’t even busy (we came in the morning), we left feeling pretty disappointed.

Very nice and delicious food! The service was incredibly friendly, the food came quickly and I even got a piece of cake for my birthday! Highly recommended :)

We went there for breakfast. Food was fine until I found a label of something on my Brezel. I don‘t know where it came from (maybe the salad?) but I stopped eating immediately and told the waitress. I got offered a new meal but wasn‘t in the mood after I have found this. The Wrap was fine. We got something else for free as compensation. So the service was nice, but a label in food is a no go sorry. We will not come again.

Amazing food and drinks and super friendly staff

We went to the Teds for the first time and it was verry busy and peaceful at the same time. The menu offers many variations, I like how they have bifurcated it in different categories: we ordered iced matcha, chicken katsu, turkish eggs, veg gyoza and iced chai. Everything was delicious! Special shoutout to the Turkish eggd best one in The Hague.

We had a great mother’s day breakfast at Teds. The waitress Elena was super friendly and made sure we had a great time. The food was absolutely perfect!

Yesterday the four of us (unfortunately one dropout from our party) enjoyed a top brunch. The food was fantastic. The donut chicken is an unexpectedly delicious combination and the chicken katsu brioche is also recommended. Staff was also friendly, no comments about the service. The only downside was the fact that you don't get a sieve in the mug with the fresh ginger. Because the ginger is not peeled all around, you get a lot of wood residue in your tea. But otherwise absolutely great and therefore worth 5 stars. Definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful brunch this afternoon—delicious food and truly outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the two lovely ladies who looked after us. They were friendly, smiley, and incredibly patient, answering all our questions with confidence and knowledge of the menu. We went with the Chicken Avocado and the Triple Omega—both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Everything arrived promptly and with a smile. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Customer friendly but the service takes a long time. Drinks are served quickly but food takes a very long time. I found the room very noisy.

We recently reserved an Afternoon Tea at Teds in The Hague, but unfortunately our experience was not as expected. Upon arrival, the staff appeared to be surprised that we had a reservation for Afternoon Tea, which resulted in an unclear start. The table was set while we were seated, which is understandable, but it did cause some confusion. After ordering an extra drink to make the experience more pleasant, we were then served with Afternoon Tea on flat plates, without any explanation about the dishes. This was in stark contrast to the table next to us, where four guests ordered the same Afternoon Tea, but everything was presented on a beautiful etagère, including a clear explanation of the dishes. After expressing our dissatisfaction we were offered a drink on the house, which we appreciated, but it didn't feel like enough compensation. To our surprise, a 10% discount was offered, but this was only on the drinks we ordered extra, and not on the Afternoon Tea, which we had actually complained about. In the end we paid €83 for an experience that did not match our expectations. The difference in service and presentation was disappointing, and we felt we were not treated well for the amount we paid.

Today my sisters and I had reserved a high tea at Ted's at 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was downright disappointing, which is why I feel compelled to write this honest and rigorous review. Upon entering I immediately indicated that I had made a reservation. The employee's attitude spoke volumes: nothing seemed to have been registered. There was also no table set aside. Although we tried to ignore this and took a seat, the irritation quickly started to increase. When I mentioned again that we were coming for high tea, we were bluntly told that it could take up to 30 to 45 minutes before it was served. It is understandable that food needs to be prepared, but for a high tea, which largely consists of cold dishes, such a long waiting time is simply unacceptable. We ordered some drinks and waited patiently. When the high tea was finally brought, the disappointment was complete: the dishes were served loose on dinner plates, without any explanation about what exactly was on the plates. No presentation, no atmosphere, no attention – exactly the elements you choose for a high tea. The low point followed not much later when another group, older Dutch ladies, arrived. Their high tea was beautifully presented on shelves, exactly as you would expect. They also received detailed explanations about the different snacks. The differences in treatment were painfully visible and felt disrespectful. Why was clearly less effort put into us? Why this disparity in service? This made us feel ignored and not taken seriously as guests. After this experience, we expressed our disappointment to one of the employees. She indicated that she would consult with the manager. In the end only 10% of the bill was deducted. Given the high costs (€27.50 per person excluding drinks), we felt this was absolutely insufficient compensation for the poor service and experience. The food itself was tasty, that wasn't the problem. But high tea is not just about the taste; it's all about the total experience: the presentation, the atmosphere and the service. Ted's has fallen sharply short on all these points today. In summary: we came for a pleasant and special high tea experience, but went home disappointed and with a bad feeling. For a business that claims to value quality and hospitality, this level is simply shameful. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend booking a high tea here.

I had such a great experience at Ted’s! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. But what really made our lunch special was our waitress, Elena. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and her service was phenomenal. I genuinely loved her energy and vibe, she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was here for the MamaSocial event and really appreciated the stroller-friendly setup. The cozy atmosphere, delicious cappuccino, and tasty eggs made it a lovely experience.

For such good reviews, we walked for half hour to this place, and we were left a bit disappointed. We stayed outside, and the tables were dirty, the chairs a bit shaky and there was glass and salt all over the floor. We ordered some drinks, a smash burger and some fried chicken. The match blueberry lemonade tasted weird, maybe too much matcha, you could barely taste the blueberry or lemon. The smash burger was okay, a bit too greasy and not much flavour to it, but nicely sized. The fried chicken was good, but it was more bread than chicken, and just covered in sauce. And all this took about half hour to arrive. And expensive for how simple it was. The staff were nice and polite, but I was expecting more of such a highly rated place.

Loulou was kind and attentive. She checked up on us which was very thoughtful and rare nowadays. The food is excellent and quick.

The iced latte was good, though they were out of caramel syrup, which was a bit disappointing. Prices are fair, and while reservations aren’t required, I’d recommend making one since it can get busy. Overall, a solid brunch spot with good food, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

I have never wrote a review in my life and will probably never do it again, but this place is just the biggest scam I have ever stepped foot in. I’ve tried coming here three times before, and all three times I called before to reserve a table. Every time I would arrive at the restaurant, they suddenly had no clue I even called and told me they couldn’t seat me because they were full. It pissed me off for sure, but like I said, I’m usually not someone who gets very fed up over these things. Well, today I thought to myself “Let’s give this place another chance”. I mean, it’s very busy every time after all. I called, arrived, and surprise surprise, they had a table for us. Great. We ordered. Then the food came. TELL ME HOW YOU ARE JUSTIFYING 14 EUROS FOR A BREAKFAST BURRITO THE SIZE OF PENCIL. PLEASE EXPLAIN IT TO ME. Supposedly there should be bacon and cheddar inside of the burrito. It was nowhere to be found (or at least, I didn’t taste it). ‘With a side of guac’. WELL YOU CAN TAKE THAT LITERALLY CAUSE IT WAS ON THE SIDE IN A LITTLE SAUCE CUP AND IT COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE THAN HALF A SPOON. I can’t believe this is what has come of restaurants in The Hague. I do not mind spending a bit more money for food, as I enjoy going to restaurants. But this is just insane. I’m never ever in my life stepping foot inside a Ted’s establishment again. I really hope the staff is getting paid above minimum wage, because that would justify the high prices a bit. And to be honest, the service was perfect. Everyone was kind and fast, so nothing to complain there. Anway, 1/5 stars for this place, i’m pissed off that I even tried so many times to come here. Scammers.

the portion of the burrito was diabolical. the smallest burrito have ever seen and you are asking 15 euro for that, also no bacon included at all and cheddar was barely there. the waffle fries were tasty but the truffle mayo didint exist.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ted's! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Kuddos to Lisa for being so friendly and making my friend's bday extra special and making greaaaat mimosas. The food was also simply outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight! The cozy ambiance made it the perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable brunch. A definite 10/10—highly recommend, and we’ll be back for sure!

Hebben hier onze lunch genomen. De aankleding is eerder rommelig te noemen. De lunch die we bestelden was echter iets te droge kost, niet aangenaam. Enkele boterhammen met avocado en kip konden ons niet echt bekoren, ook de clubsandwich niet. We aten al veel betere lunches in de stad, aan gelijke prijzen.

Recently I visited TEDS in The Hague for the first time, and it was a great experience! The cozy atmosphere and stylish interior made for a relaxed brunch. The crew is friendly, welcoming, proactive and helpful. I had the Eggs Norwegian: two perfectly poached eggs on a buttery croissant roll with salmon, hollandaise, and a touch of caviar. On the side I had avocado and bacon, which complemented the dish nicely. For drinks, I went with the Pineapple Margarita, which was sweet (which I like), refreshing, and paired well with the rich flavors of the eggs. To finish, I had their Rocky Brownie Caramel alongside a cappuccino - a deliciously indulgent end to the meal. TEDS serves brunch all day, with a wide variety of both savory and sweet options. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in The Hague and looking for a tasty, laid-back brunch spot.

Review is for Ted's in The Hague, not Amsterdam or wherever else this chain exists. More style than substance. Funny hipster tag lines have to be backed up by top notch staff and food. This did not. Chicken and waffles? Sorry, no waffles. Mexican chocolate sauce? No chocolate. Flavorless doughnuts. Old avocado. The list goes on. Maybe spend more time attending to tables and the kitchen, less on attitude.

Our forst drink order took quite a while to come out. When our food came out, they had obviously forgotten one of our orders but said it was “just in the kitchen”, after which it took another 10 or so minutes to come out (4 out of the 5 of us having food in front of us already). It then took them a while to check on us again. We ordered some more cocktails, but 5 minutes later were told we had 15 minutes left in our reservation. Why mot tell us that when we ordered more drinks? After the 15 minute warning it still took 5-10 minutes for our cocktails and hot drinks to come out. We then asked for the bill. Took them another 5+ minutes to come rush us out for the next reservation, though we still had not received our bill. They were requesting payment without us having seen the bill. There was also a drink spill by the wait staff which wasnt cleaned up. I dont think 1,5 hours is enough for a nice relaxed brunch, especially when they mess up your order, making the wait for food longer than it needs to be

I've had better food here before. There were four of us, everyone had something different and the conclusion is actually 'unloving'. Bread is dry, the fries were cold (sent back and then 're-put back in the fryer'), the goat cheese sandwich was dry, the mimosas in a wine glass (Why?). Unfortunately a bit disappointing.

It looks nice, the service is very friendly, but it is just a very dirty place. The appetite disappears like snow in the sun when you see how dirty it is. Too bad, with a makeover, a lick of paint and a pack of cleaning cloths it could really be turned into a gem.

Extremely disappointing experience. The place was so loud that we could barely hear each other. We ordered coffee, which took over 20 minutes to arrive. During that time, the waitstaff repeatedly asked if we wanted to order food, even though we were still waiting for our drinks. I was there with my grandparents and we asked for tap water, which should have been a simple request, especially when everyone is ordering coffee and food. They brought everyone’s food besides mine. After pointing it out three different waitresses, it still took them 15 minutes to bring my plate (which was still missing the Hollandaise sauce). By which time everyone else had already finished eating. To top it all off, as soon as we finished eating and they cleared our plates, they immediately brought the bill and told us we needed to leave because other people were coming in 5 minutes. The service was rushed, disorganized, and unfriendly. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Pd: coffee was good, and the English speaking girl cleaning the table was also very sweet.

I’m sorry, but there’s nothing special about it. The fact that it’s so crowded despite serving ordinary food and that you can only sit for an hour and a half really makes you wonder, “Why is everyone here?”

Good brunch food, coupled with good service

We were there today with work for lunch with a party of 6 on recommendation of someone, but they must have had an off day given other postive reviews. Poached eggs were hard on the inside and cold, croquettes were cold, it took 45 min for the food to come and the fries came 15 min earlier than the rest. The juices were served in a small glass but cost 6,50 (?!). We will not return there. Overall a disappointing experience.

The food looks nice, but it only looks nice. The pancakes weren’t well done they were raw in the middle, no sauce in the middle either. The waitress was rude and very late with our orders. It seemed like they were understaffed. Unfortunately, the money -quality ratio doesn’t add up.

I’ve been a regular at Ted’s Den Haag with my family for the past two years, visiting every few months the last experiencing having been declining but this experience was extremely disappointing. The waffle fries were drenched in oil and burnt, making them inedible. The poached eggs were cold, and the chicken katsu tasted stale. To make matters worse, there were small fruit-like flies flying around and even landing on the food. It’s upsetting to see the quality decline so much compared to our previous visits. I really hope management takes these issues seriously, as this is not the standard we’ve come to expect

Update December 2024: I have been here quite a few times now. And the experience is always the same. The place is packed and understaffed. Waiting times for drinks and food are ridiculous. Last time I went, they sent people away because of "non-technical problems" in the kitchen. Staff is friendly, and they try their best with the situation at hand. But also over time, food quality has decreased. Sad to say, that the place is not what it once was. Very good restaurants for breakfast and brunch. Tasty vegan options available, friendly staff and you can take your dog here. Nice atmosphere, a bit loud when full.

HORRIBLE !!! Service horrible.. food terrible.. wouldn't even feed this to my dog. A full house only 2 people working the floor, 1 person in the kitchen… Drinks took forever to come .. you order wine, the girls brings you prosecco.. The eggs benedict on croissant, More like eggs on cracker —> croissant so old and hard, from days ago. Hollandaise sauce cold from the fridge.. if i was the “chef” i would be ashamed and to serve this food. Poached egg, hard like the croissant.. My husband wanted to leave a tip as it was was not the “fault” of the waitress. But its not my fault that you were understaffed either. And no discount or apology was given.. HORRIBLE !! Avoid avoid avoid !!!

Rude server ruined an otherwise good brunch

TEDS All Day Brunch – The Hague TEDS is hands down one of the best brunch spots in The Hague! From the moment we walked in, every single staff member greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm—it instantly set the tone for a great experience. The vibe is super cozy and welcoming, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying a quiet meal. We only tried the eggs Benedict, but it was superb—easily one of the best I’ve had. But what really stood out was the service. The staff genuinely seemed happy to be there, and that energy made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot! I’m already looking forward to going back.

Too bad, to have gone through this experience, with my son. They don't know what they are serving and how to serve it. Order apple pie with coffee, only the apple pie was not there after 20 minutes, and the coffee was cold and too early. The toilet is unhygienic and very poor maintenance. Child was stuck for 15 minutes. And the quality was not there. Won't come back and won't recommend it to my friends. Too bad about this. Kind regards

Small! Busy and noisy. Service is good friendly staff. I give the food an unsatisfactory rating, the food is already lukewarm upon arrival, the egg was already cold. Price-quality ratio is poor. Even the coffee is half lukewarm upon arrival. So I don't recommend Teds either. Walk back a bit and join Walter Benedict, where the dishes are hot and the taste is optimal.
