Very good food. We ordered a medium-rare sirloin steak. And it was perfectly prepared. My wife had ordered 200 grams and I 300 grams. When it was served, we weren't sure what each was. The wait staff checked and we had both received 300 grams. Solved perfectly: pay for what you ordered and no fuss. Then we had Irish Coffee. This was very good, nice and hot, and they weren't stingy with the whiskey. The service was friendly and focused on providing a lovely evening, and they succeeded. Top-notch, highly recommended!

During our holiday at Landal Amerongseberg, we were looking for a nice restaurant and ended up at El Racho. We certainly didn't regret it and enjoyed a delicious meal there on a second evening as well. Wonderfully tender meat from a charcoal-fired grill, top quality. If we are in the area again, we will definitely go back here!

We had a delicious meal; I had the ribeye with peppercorn sauce and it was absolutely delicious..the service was also top-notch, all in all highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience. After waiting for an hour, it turns out there was an error with the order... There are plenty of staff going around but none cared to check. I don't know if I will come back and hopefully get a better experience but I can't recommend it.

For starters, we had chicken tacos; the chicken was very dry and I didn't find it particularly special either.. For the main course, my husband had a ribeye, which was actually good! I had garlic-seasoned spareribs. I only ate 3 bites of it, because it was really burnt and super dry (my husband thought so too). The fries were good though! Unfortunately, I had expected more from them...

A household name in Veenendaal for years! We've been coming here for years. Always good quality, friendly service, and often a singer on the weekend. The spareribs are highly recommended, they are just so delicious. We will always keep coming back. Keep up the good work! Reservations are necessary.

The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed and cozy, and the icing on the cake was the live guitar and singing, which added an extra magical touch to the evening. We ordered spare ribs, but they weren't entirely to our liking. Two of the three were quite dry and had been on the grill too long. We've had spare ribs before, and they've always been good, except this one time. Better luck next time!

Starter: delicious, tasty carpaccio. Main course: Super tender beef tenderloin. The atmosphere was certainly good, though the table was a bit cramped. We did have to wait a very long time for the main course. (It was also very busy, all tables occupied.) But it was most certainly worth the wait. I will definitely come back here again.

We love the meat at Argentinian steakhouses, so we tried this one. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. Everything was cold. Cold and mediocre meat, cold sauces. The vegetables were very watery. Even the fries were cold. They also charge a hefty price for everything extra, even though it seems like it's included in the price of the dish. The young man serving was very friendly and did his best.

Two weeks ago, the four of us dined there and had to wait 15 minutes for a table (the table was cleaned while we were already seated). All four of us ordered the same grill mix. The meat had tough chunks, and the vegetables were subpar, probably a bagged mix. The mushrooms were canned, which was a real shame. We went there based on the reviews; the four of us couldn't understand how they got such a high rating. The tables were also a bit cramped, which wasn't very comfortable. We won't be going back without spending money.

Delicious food. Cocktails, super tender tenderloin, and spareribs where the meat just falls off the bone. You get a lot (we couldn't finish it all).

It took a little getting used to when we entered. We were given a table for three, which was actually for two. And it was next to the open kitchen. It was great to see how they work. We were given sandwiches and dips. The chef later came over to tell us they had a table for four available. We sat there comfortably and enjoyed the delicious food. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures. You'll just have to go there and try it. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a traditional Dutch pub, but with delicious Argentinian meat dishes 😋😋😋

I went there two weeks ago and couldn't get enough, so I went again yesterday! And it was fantastic again!🤩 The food is great, the staff is incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. They create a lovely atmosphere. I went for the spareribs, and my wife went for three different steaks. Neither of us have had better meat or ribs anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Fantastic restaurant. So welcoming. They always make room for you, and if you want to take food away, that's also possible. It's classic, so don't expect fine dining; everything revolves around quality. How they manage everything from that tiny kitchen is still a mystery to me. But everything that comes out is top-notch. You'll find the best spareribs you've ever tasted here.

Delicious food in an old-fashioned, cozy atmosphere

Cozy little spot, gem even, hidden in Veenendaal. The food was delicious as they have the tastiest and 'fall of the bone' spare ribs I've had in a long time. The steak I ordered was grilled to taste and was super soft and smooth. The feta cheese salad I ordered was simple but the smooth soft feta cheese, wasn't too salty or overpowering. The brownie I had for dessert was soft and not dry. Good portions as well and super friendly service. For a random Wednesday night this place was packed. Only downside... Even though it pops up in the American Express website, their machine didn't take it though, which the waitress also comfirmed.

The food here is always good. Had a delicious piece of meat, with a red wine. The service could be better, which is why you sometimes have to wait a long time for your drink. The atmosphere here is a bit old-fashioned, but atmospheric. You sit close together in terms of tables, on fake cow leather benches. But you are not bothered by other guests when you sit in the benches.

Just finished eating at El Rancho and I’m leaving full and happy! The steak was perfectly cooked, and it was my first time trying chimichurri — absolutely loved it. The potatoes came out so hot I felt like a dragon breathing smoke, and they stayed warm through the whole meal. Every server checked in on me and made sure I wanted for nothing. The food, the service — everything was amazing. Highly recommend!

Delicious food at El Rancho! I was quite hungry so I went for 2 starters. No. 14 Humita, No. 15 Tapas (Argentine specialities) and No. 19 Beef tenderloin medium rare with spare ribs. Beef tenderloin was perfectly grilled with a crispy crust and medium rare inside. Spare ribs had a lot of flavor! The sauces served with it are also very tasty. Definitely worth repeating.

This restaurant is located in the middle of a residential area...so we didn't expect too much and we were surprised, it was extremely busy and the food/meat was very tasty.
