I had a wonderful meal at El Rancho. I ordered an Argentinian tenderloin, and it was truly fantastic. Deliciously tender! The service from the staff was also fantastic; they were very friendly. I'll definitely be back!

A hidden gem in Veenendaal. Delicious meat dishes from the barbecue grill. Friendly service and a nice, atmospheric atmosphere. And, in my opinion, the best spare ribs.

Fantastic restaurant. So welcoming. They always make room for you, and if you want to take food away, that's also possible. It's classic, so don't expect fine dining; everything revolves around quality. How they manage everything from that tiny kitchen is still a mystery to me. But everything that comes out is top-notch. You'll find the best spareribs you've ever tasted here.

Delicious food in an old-fashioned, cozy atmosphere

Cozy little spot, gem even, hidden in Veenendaal. The food was delicious as they have the tastiest and 'fall of the bone' spare ribs I've had in a long time. The steak I ordered was grilled to taste and was super soft and smooth. The feta cheese salad I ordered was simple but the smooth soft feta cheese, wasn't too salty or overpowering. The brownie I had for dessert was soft and not dry. Good portions as well and super friendly service. For a random Wednesday night this place was packed. Only downside... Even though it pops up in the American Express website, their machine didn't take it though, which the waitress also comfirmed.

Delicious food. The first time the chicken skewer was a bit too dry, but without any fuss and with a lot of love a new one was made for us and it exceeded all expectations! The food here is always good. Had a delicious piece of meat, with a red wine. The service could be better, which is why you sometimes have to wait a long time for your drink. The atmosphere here is a bit old-fashioned, but atmospheric. You sit close together in terms of tables, on fake cow leather benches. But you are not bothered by other guests when you sit in the benches.

Food was delicious, fast service. Friendly people. Cozy atmosphere, with nice music softly in the background. We were away for a few days with an overnight stay nearby. Next time in Veenendaal, we will definitely come again! Recommended.

Just finished eating at El Rancho and I’m leaving full and happy! The steak was perfectly cooked, and it was my first time trying chimichurri — absolutely loved it. The potatoes came out so hot I felt like a dragon breathing smoke, and they stayed warm through the whole meal. Every server checked in on me and made sure I wanted for nothing. The food, the service — everything was amazing. Highly recommend!

Delicious food at El Rancho! I was quite hungry so I went for 2 starters. No. 14 Humita, No. 15 Tapas (Argentine specialities) and No. 19 Beef tenderloin medium rare with spare ribs. Beef tenderloin was perfectly grilled with a crispy crust and medium rare inside. Spare ribs had a lot of flavor! The sauces served with it are also very tasty. Definitely worth repeating.

Ate here for the second time First time I had a large T bone which was delicious Tender and juicy meat really phenomenal That's why we went back again, even though we live in Almere Second time I really wanted a large piece of meat so I asked the waitress "yes that is certainly possible" they said Could take a ribeye of one kilo I'm really a meat eater but this was really the tastiest piece of meat I've eaten I will definitely go back again and perhaps more often Highly recommended to eat here Cozy and tasty and great service 💯 points

This restaurant is located in the middle of a residential area...so we didn't expect too much and we were surprised, it was extremely busy and the food/meat was very tasty. We both ordered a tenderloin with the grilled pepper, nothing to complain about!! The staff was friendly and the chef even came by for a little chat - definitely recommended, we will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who likes a good piece of meat

Had dinner at El-rancho last night. I had dinner here with some friends and what a great evening this was! The service was good and very polite. Reserved Saturday 22-02-2025 with former colleagues for a nice dinner and get-together. We were very surprised that shortly after eating and paying, a girl came to tell us that we had to leave. Other guests were already ready. We were not told that there is a time slot at Restaurant El Rancho, and it is not stated on the website. What should have been a pleasant evening of eating and catching up was disrupted by the request to leave. Very customer unfriendly!

Reserved at 6am. Then we were asked if we wanted to come earlier. Fine, we came earlier. . The reason was that we would be leaving quickly so that other people could sit in our seats. Someone was constantly at the table to check if we had already made a choice. My meat not cooked. Just finished the coffee, someone came to ask if she could bring the bill. This restaurant was the discovery of the year for me! Everyone who loves meat, you should come here immediately!!!!!! We took a steak (it just melted in your mouth, very tender) and ribs (juicy and tasty). Our waiter was very attentive and polite, he brought the dishes when ready, we didn’t have to wait long. A hidden gem discovered by chance (in a residential area)! Made a reservation with my dear long friend... Everything is right here: an atmosphere that exudes hospitality, very caring service that really has a heart for the business but especially for the guests and incredibly delicious dishes! Small but very nice restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious menu with both our little ones and ourselves. The service was great, they thought along with what was practical and safe given our little guy and even the chef came to ask if the food tasted during the main course. And it absolutely did. After years of visiting the Piramide, which was run by the current owner of El Rancho at the time, we finally decided after 10 years to visit them in their new restaurant for us. Even though the menu and name have changed, we still enjoyed the food and the cozy atmosphere. We've all gotten a bit older, but it felt like old times and we'll definitely go back again!

We had a great meal here!! At first you think it's a bit strange for a restaurant in a residential area, but it was really great. The food was delicious.. we had the chicken empanadas and the 150 gr. tenderloin and 150 gr. sirloin steak and we had a great time.
