The food was okay, but the service wasn't good. It took a long time and the table wasn't looked after properly. Dishes arrived in stages, but regularly there were a few people without food while the rest were served. We were with children... that meant they had to wait a long time and didn't spoil the atmosphere. Additionally, everything took a long time and we were often left with many dirty plates and mess that wasn't cleared away.

The food was okay. We have had better. The appetizers from different rounds got mixed up and we didn't even get a number of dishes. One person got their dish and the other didn't. It wasn't even busy. Very disappointing! And my Aperol Spritz tasted like water. We did get a new one, though. The staff was friendly!

Beautiful place in a lovely location and the staff was friendly, so we had high expectations beforehand. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. Everything involving fried chicken was particularly bad. In both the sushi and the other dishes, the chicken was tasteless and undercooked. Furthermore, the sushi consisted mainly of a lot of rice with little filling and had hardly any flavor. The dumplings looked nice, but that was basically all there was to it. The fries with cheese sauce were also disappointing; the cheese sauce clearly did not taste fresh or homemade. I can taste that immediately. It is a shame, because the ambiance and concept are really good and the place has a lot of potential. But ultimately, you come to eat well, and for us, that was by far the weakest part.

Went out for dinner tonight, August 18th, with two friends. It was great. The staff (the two girls) were very patient with us regarding the occasional incorrect entry of the dishes 😉. So we will definitely be back 👍

We had a delicious meal and there was plenty of choice among the various dishes. The staff was very friendly. However, there was sometimes quite a delay between the serving of the dishes, and we also missed quite a bit of what we ordered. This turned out to be due to understaffing and the busyness, which was beyond the staff's control. All in all, we had a delicious meal and hopefully there will be better staffing next time!

Delicious food and amazing cocktails! On weekends, you sometimes have to wait a little longer for your dishes, but you don't have to stuff yourself as quickly as possible. No one is rushing you, so just sit back and wait patiently for your dishes while enjoying a cocktail 🍹.

We had a delicious meal, and the staff were friendly. The food was served reasonably quickly. The only downside for us is the smoking outside on the terrace. Eating and smoking do not go together for us.

Some staff members do not radiate motivation or enthusiasm and do not speak Dutch. Forgetting to bring a round was eventually resolved well. We found the music to be a bit too loud.

Yesterday, we decided to have dinner here at the last minute with some friends. We were warmly welcomed by Anouk, and she was able to clearly explain the concept to us... because we were running a bit late, we were able to make a good deal. During dinner, we were well assisted by Anouk. She is sharp and wants everyone to have a good time.

What a wonderful experience! From the moment we entered, we were greeted warmly. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, and the staff was attentive and helpful. The food was excellent: everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor. All in all, a restaurant you will happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a lovely evening. We will definitely be back!

A cozy and atmospheric restaurant with delicious dishes and an incredible amount of choice. Whether you like meat, fish, or vegetarian dishes, there is something tasty to be found for every taste. The staff is very hospitable, friendly, and always ready to help. In addition, the service is incredibly fast. From the moment you order until the food is on the table, you hardly have to wait. We were with a group and had our food on the table within about 10 minutes. Making a reservation is also very easy, and there is often still a table available. Should it be busy, the waiting time is usually no longer than about 10 minutes. In short: TIGA Streetfood & Cocktails in Veenendaal is highly recommended. A top location with delicious food, fast service, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a place I would love to return to!

The food was okay, not great. The service was very nice and they certainly did their best. However, there were sometimes very long waits for dishes, some of which never arrived. I also had to wait over 60 minutes for a cocktail. All in all, it wasn't necessarily a bad experience, but I believe it could definitely be better. The decor and staff are top-notch, in any case.

Little brother, that crepe I ordered was smaller than my hand. The food was yusu mid and that cake was NOT tasty. You guys aren't ysu and I got angry looks from the wait staff.

Last Friday, I received a dinner as a gift here at Tiga. I was really looking forward to it, since I had already been here twice and the food was really top-notch. But what a letdown it was this past 5-6-2026. We were sitting at a table that was covered in drain flies on the window and the wall🥲🥲 We asked for another table and that was no problem. That is when the real misery began. Dishes that never arrived. They came to the table again to tell us that things were indeed not going as they should. I sent the nachos back myself (really not tasty) and had dishes from round 2 delivered to round 4. It was a real circus. And totally not what we were used to from previous visits. Not very nice for the gift giver. And then the bill came, and we clearly stated that we really didn't like it. And especially the drain flies. But they just made us pay the full 211.50. As a proprietor, I wouldn't feel entirely comfortable with this. Then I politely send an email in the hope that they would get back to me, then I send another message via Facebook Messenger. No response. So be it. An extremely disappointed restaurant patron.

We ate at TIGA for the first time, highly recommended! The food is delicious, especially the carpaccio, sushi, and steak (everything halal). The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. You can enjoy a meal all evening without a time limit. I had to drive 40 minutes to get there, but I will definitely come back again! Suggestion for improvement: we sat at table 31; we didn't find the chairs with the arches on the sides suitable for sitting on for hours.

I can let you know that Sunday, May 17, 2026, was our last visit to Tiga, as we had another very bad experience. I will briefly explain the reasons for this: 1. We had to wait a very long time before we were allowed to receive the first round, and we were immediately given the second round as well because we had placed another order in the meantime. 2. We had ordered “nachos” but received “nachos pulled chicken,” but that wasn't the worst part. It seemed as if we had been given the last of the bag, because the chips were very small. 3. My wife had ordered “Yakitori skewers,” one of which was rock hard and charred black and inedible. The second one wasn't too bad, but it couldn't be called fully cooked. We reported this, and apologies were offered. 4. Subsequently, my wife ordered “Sweet Chili Gambas” in the next round, and it turned out that the intestinal tract was still inside, and they were cold to eat. We reported this as well and received apologies once again, and she said she would take it into account when preparing the bill. 5. Because, given the above, we actually had no appetite left, we ordered a dessert as a final treat. My wife and I both had the same thing, namely “Tropical Paradise” and “Stracciatella-Lion”. On the third bite, my wife had something hard in her mouth and initially thought it was chocolate, but it turned out to be a piece of plastic, specifically a pull tab used to open a bucket. This is extremely dangerous because there are sharp objects attached to it. Conclusion: We had had enough and were very angry and indignant, because it could have ended differently. We called the manager over and mentioned everything stated above once again, with the final straw being this piece of plastic in the ice cream. We made it clear that, given what was happening, there was no reason to pay and that we would never return here, with all the consequences for Tiga Streetfood & Cocktails, because we decided to post a review to prevent other customers from having to deal with the same thing. The manager fully understood and agreed that we did not have to pay anything, with further apologies. We then left the establishment.

The service was great, very nice people! The food did take a bit of a while to arrive. The portions were very small. To be honest, the food wasn't really tasty either; it had a bit of an ethnicity issue. Japanese sushi with a Mexican touch doesn't go very well together. I also found it very pricey for the portions you get. I wouldn't come back here.

In principle, I think the whole experience is worth a 4.5. The atmosphere is fantastic. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nouhaila. I believe she is a real asset to Tiga, but basically everyone was very friendly, so the atmosphere and service are absolutely top-notch. The food is otherwise fine. However, if you are coming purely for meat or purely for sushi, I do not recommend the all-you-can-eat option, but for an all-you-can-eat, everything is well presented. As for the desserts, they are truly amazing. The wide variety is fantastic, and the choices all have their own little twist, which makes it all even more fun.

The service was friendly and they did their best, but there were long waits for dishes and one or two dishes were forgotten every round, which made the wait even longer. We were seated upstairs, where it was very dark and hot. The music was too loud and too lounge-like for background music. The bass was very piercing and distracting. Also, the chairs were uncomfortable for sitting for a long time.

We ate at Tiga for the second time and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time we sat downstairs, where the atmosphere is much more inviting thanks to the beautiful decor and central bar. The food was fantastic: original sushi you won't find everywhere and delicious hot and cold appetizers. Everything was well-seasoned and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful evening and it's definitely a restaurant we'll keep coming back to.

The food is truly delicious. Some portions are a bit large, so it might be wise to share it with your companions (like the sushi). The service is excellent. You order via a tablet, but they regularly come to your table to ask if everything is to your liking and if you need anything else. We'll definitely be back!

I ate here with a friend this weekend, and everything was absolutely fantastic! The food was a 10/10, and the service was fantastic. Colleagues came by several times during the evening to ask if everything was to our liking, which was also fantastic!

My daughter and I regularly eat at Tres (Veenendaal), so we thought Tiga (Veenendaal) would be good too. They're both owned by the same owner and have the same concept. Unfortunately, it was truly terrible. We had to ask for some appetizers ourselves because they just didn't arrive. Food that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm, and once it was even cold. The flavors were absolutely nothing special or distinctive. The tables are so close together that you're practically sitting on your neighbors' laps and can inadvertently hear their conversations. This also limited our conversation, as there are things others don't need to hear. So, there was no time for a proper catch-up. Therefore, we left much earlier than usual, even though we weren't full yet. It was a real waste of money, and we won't be going back.

For over 50 euros, I unfortunately didn't think it was worth it today. The sushi wasn't good. Other dishes were also practically tasteless. You can choose two dishes per round. These were very small portions, and the long wait completely ruins your appetite. Not worth repeating for me.

We enjoyed Tiga on Saturday evening. Friendly and efficient service and delicious dishes and cocktails. It wasn't the closing time that set the limit for this culinary feast, but unfortunately, the limited size of our stomachs. Otherwise, we would have tried every dish and cocktail. So there's only one thing left to do: eat your fill and come back again tonight :)

Not recommended! We were here with a group, and it took ages, and we didn't even get many of the things we ordered! We also had terrible stomach cramps from the food, and some of us even got sick. So annoying! I'm never going back! Absolutely terrible!

This place was a real disappointment! You can order two dishes per person every 15 minutes. You'd think an all-you-can-eat restaurant would get your food quickly, but we had to wait 30 to 40 minutes. The food was also disappointing; some of the "hot dishes" were ice cold, and our churros weren't even cooked through. Expensive, and definitely not recommended!

The service was super friendly, the food was good. Someone at our table ate 14 servings of hot wings, so I definitely recommend them! Unfortunately, there was an allergy issue, but it was resolved very smoothly and ultimately didn't cause any problems. The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. I don't eat meat, but I do occasionally eat fish, etc., and I'm otherwise vegetarian. It's great that they have a separate menu for that! The only downside was that I ordered shrimp croquettes, and instead I got RENDANG (beef) croquettes, even though they said they were shrimp croquettes... 😫 I found this really annoying. Everything else was delicious, but it really ruined my evening, especially because they didn't make anything right, other than an apology.

The food was delicious, with a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. The service was superb. The only complaint was the awful background music.

It's generally not bad, but it's rarely truly delicious. You have unlimited servings of two dishes. In theory, you'd think you'd fill up quickly, but in practice, that's not the case. This is because the service speed is incredibly slow. Some dishes require a 40-minute wait. Other diners were constantly getting the wrong dishes, and many were completely unavailable at some point (and that had nothing to do with the crowds). The dishes aren't large either. They're a small tapas size. It's nice that desserts are included in the price, but they're not all good either. I wouldn't really recommend this place.

The food quality was very poor. It felt like everything came from jars, freezers, or microwaves (the guacamole, for example, was absolutely uncookable). This made me feel the price-quality ratio was very skewed. The concept is nice, and of course, it should be more common by 2025, but it's a real shame that they're skimping on the quality of the food.

Friendly, spontaneous service; they take their time with you and bring the most delicious dishes to your table... sushi and tapas, something for everyone, no matter how long you sit or how much you order... all you can eat!

I think this is a fantastic place. Delicious food. Not microwave-fresh, so. Great cocktails and excellent service. The decor is cozy and the music is great. They even have a DJ regularly.

My wife and child and I went to Tiga for dinner for the first time in the heart of Veenendaal. They have excellent and easy service with a tablet and friendly staff. The dishes weren't great, but they were okay, and the halal service offers a wider selection.

August 2025: Had a wonderful evening in this beautifully decorated restaurant. The staff are very engaged with the guests from the very first moment and make you feel right at home. You can order unlimited dishes with an iPad, including desserts. Every 15 minutes, you can choose two dishes per person. There are surprising dishes on the menu, and the quality is good. Not 5 stars because the music is loud in the restaurant and the chairs are very uncomfortable! It's a shame this was chosen. It takes quite a while for the dishes to arrive. We had already ordered a second round while the previous one hadn't even been served. This makes you lose track of things and leads to a long wait. We will definitely be back.

To be honest, I was disappointed. A colleague of mine was very enthusiastic, but compared to "real Asia," the flavors were meh. I also think the price-quality ratio is a bit high. A non-alcoholic cocktail (!) costs €9.50. A bit much, right? Oh yeah, the table we were at was tiny. The menu, dishes, iPad, flowers, and candle just barely fit.

Yesterday we went to eat with 3 friends at Tiga. I can only say in 1 WORD AMAZING. The DJ made it complete, so nice sweer. My compliments to the girls of the service, great ladies come by so often to ask if everything is to your liking, the chef with golden hands, food also comes very quickly, it was busy so our sushi was forgotten (no problem can happen) everything was solved so quickly, within 5 minutes our sushi was on the table. Everyone is friendly, cozy. In one word great place, will be our regular location.

We've made a reservation to go out and eat on Saturday Once we got there, we got seated straight away, but it took them 10 minutes to stop by and ask us for drinks and hand over the menu's/explain how to operate the tablet, etc. The food itself was okay, nothing too spectacular but all in all good taste The times between dishes being served took a while ( 10-20 mins) Staff was nice and friendly and regularly inquired with us how we were doing throughout the evening

We had a very nice evening here with friends. The food was good and there is a lot of variety in dishes. Sometimes something went wrong, but that was always handled well. There is also a lady in service who we found quite serious. She could not smile. Don't get me wrong, she did her job very correctly. Later it turned out that this lady is autistic and that explained everything. How wonderful that a company like Tiga lets these people work for them. She appeared to have been doing that for quite some time. Also immediately shows what kind of restaurant Tiga is. Serious, qualitative and involved. I know where I will eat more often... 😁

Nice trendy place, but that's all there is to it. Food has no taste at all, the tomato pepper soup seemed like the Lidl house brand cupasoup... very unfortunate

Food quality is meh. Sushi sauces in particular are not tasty. Little alcohol in the cocktails. Cocktails below average in taste balance. Above average good service.
