Food was ok, service very poor. Couldn't order many drinks because they rarely came. They don't even have orange juice on Saturday evenings. It was freezing outside, but staff and visitors often left the side door open... So unfortunately no more Mangoes for us...

Lovely place, we come here regularly (and therefore with pleasure). Lovely atmosphere, good food and drinks, very friendly service.

Food was good. The menu is not too big and their lunch sandwiches are great. The cuban sandwich especially is delicious. The place is pretty big so it would be ideal for a big get together

Very cozy and atmospheric restaurant. Been many times and always friendly staff. The Nachos are highly recommended! Cocktails are a bit on the expensive side, but that isn't the case these days. In any case, there is a lot of choice and the quality is very good.

Mango's is a nice place with a cozy atmosphere. However, there is a downside to it. We have been there a number of times, but every time the service is simply terrible. In any case, it takes a long time before someone comes to you the first time to ask what you want, but once you have received the card it takes at least 30 minutes before someone comes to ask if you have already made a choice. Whenever possible, they like to throw the blame on the guests.

The staff is extremely nice and professional. The atmosphere is very nice with nice music and the original decor and a cozy patio. We ordered nachos, sangria and they were very nice. We also had burgers. They taste delicious but be aware they are served slightly pink inside. We asked ours to be heated a bit more. The waiter brought them back with fresh onion rings and fresh veggies which was very nice! Excellent customer service!

Yesterday we had lunch here with a large group of active people from Wijs met je Wijk Noord-Oost. It was very pleasant, the tapas lunch was delicious and the service very friendly. Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant with tasty food and initially friendly staff. Unfortunately, something went wrong during payment, which resulted in us paying far too high a bill (probably from another table). At first I didn't think enough about this, but after a rough calculation it turned out to be a difference of almost €100. Called the next day, but refunds could only be made at the restaurant itself (cash). So back to the restaurant, but they said that nothing could be refunded without a receipt. The orders per table from the day before were not saved in the system, so they could not check what we had actually ordered. It is a pity that this could not be resolved, so we paid a considerable amount too much. We will never eat here again!

A visit with an unfortunate outcome. The run-up wasn't great. My wife asked for a drink in the afternoon due to... that we both turned 50. The first reaction was not “Oh, how nice,” but how difficult it was. A drink and lunch was something very different. The assumption was not customer friendly. Now that I think about it, the outcome was very unpleasant and especially after we paid. A very annoying manager with little empathy. She shows little empathy. She has been working there for 6 years and had no idea whether it would be busy on Sunday afternoon. The owner was supposed to be present and was not there (possible of course), which is a shame. The young man serving did a great job, as did the cook. Very friendly guys, but the manager doesn't understand much of it. I won't explain what she said, but that went too far for us. You won't see us there anymore. It's not because of the food or the location. Those were great. The rest was, well, something to do with service.

Had some snacks and then ordered Tapas. Snacks fine, tapas were not good. Meatballs cold and hard, prawns without taste. Reported twice about the meatballs, but nothing was done about it! We will definitely not eat there again in the future! Shame!!

Yesterday we ate at Mango's again for a long time and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The menu has changed, making the dishes very limited. Beef tenderloin was a bit tough and fries were lukewarm. We paid after our main course and continued eating elsewhere. It was very quiet for a Saturday evening. It might be nice to have a drink here, but I will go somewhere else for a nice meal in the future.

We haven't had such a bad meal in a while. Outside the menu, a piece of meat that was as tough as the sole of a shoe! For €24 pp We only got a bowl of fries (which we probably also had to pay for) This is the 4 times we have eaten here (over the years) and we have actually never had a good meal here... Maybe they only specialize in tapas, that's fine too. But don't offer anything outside the menu that you cannot prepare properly. We are really not fussy eaters, but if you pay €24 for a piece of meat, you can hope that it is at least tender. Shame!

I chose a salmon salad from the menu. I don't really like tapas. The salad was excellent. My friends really liked their tapas. Lovely sat outside on the terrace. The interior and exterior decor is cozy.

The images of Che and signs about the Cuban revolution are disconcerting. But… is it really an image that represents the Cuban people? No. Let it be clear: Che does not represent Cubans. They do not need to use images or “cult of personality” to attract the attention of diners. Menu The menu is not related to Cuba, there is no typical Cuban dish, maybe a mojito. If your intention is to enjoy a Cuban food, you will not find it here. Food The food portion was enough. The drinks are cold. The burger was delicious. The chorizo ​​croquettes were very tasty and the fries were very crispy. The salad, fruits and cheeses were also very fresh. We decided to eat on the terrace, to take advantage of the sun, the outside environment and get away from the images of the interior decoration.

We have always been very pleased with this restaurant. 300 m from the town hall, it seemed to us the ideal location for our wedding lunch. Unfortunately, under the new ownership it turned out to be impossible to get a quote for a lunch for 30 guests. Long story short, after visiting 3 times, calling and being sent away again and again with the (nonchalant) promise that we would really receive our quote at short notice, we unfortunately had to decide after 5 months(!) to cancel this , for us, so important day to change and have our wedding somewhere else. Very disappointed…

Because there is not much open on Sundays in Veenendaal, we ended up at Mango. How fortunate that not much was open. Very friendly service, who apologized that it took a while for her to arrive with the card, but her colleague had called in sick and the substitute was on his way. No problem for us, because you will be amazed by the interior. The food (lunch) was perfect and despite the crowds the waitress remained relaxed, friendly and attentive to what was happening at your table. We had a delicious lunch and can recommend this restaurant. Mango is definitely worth repeating.

22-04-2022 update. From 1 star to 5 Have improved enormously. Food was delicious, service was good. Enjoyed it immensely. I once had an unpleasant experience, never again. I eat there regularly and it always tastes good, cozy atmosphere and nice decoration. The service is actually always top and friendly.

Nice traditional kind of Spanish restaurant in Veenendaal. Food came in nice amounts and was very tasty.

Always enjoy coming here! Tasty, cozy and something different from all the standard menus in Veenendaal. The only downside... they really had the tastiest patatas bravas here with lots of garlic, completely marinated and dark. And suddenly... they were no longer there. Apparently some people complained that they thought it was too much garlic and therefore stopped using it. We really don't understand. So please Mangos... the tastiest potatoes in the world, marinated in lots of garlic, would love to be back in the range and then everyone who doesn't like them will just order fries. :-)

Food is really tasty. Cocktails recommended!!!! Limoncello mojito is especially delicious. Staff may have an off day, but it's a shame.
