Quality restaurant, with great food and atmosphere

I don't recommend this place. Bad food, little quantity. The attention is not good. We made the mistake of not seeing the references before entering, simply because we were very hungry. They did not want to accept card payment from us, although we saw that other clients were accepted. I don't usually give 1 star to any place, but for these, if I could, I could give them 0.

I care that lower numbers do not exist oh oh what a restaurant we were there, we ordered sparibs that were delicious, and we were sitting there at the table we suddenly see two cockatoos walking near our table, in the end we could no longer eat the one woman who works there was very antisocial towards customers, there were two customers who walked away because they had to wait 40 minutes for their food!! and the restaurant was empty, three tables in the entire restaurant were occupied and she made the customer wait for fun, then I asked if she could get fries sauce, had to wait 15 minutes for fries sauce, when she came to mine with fries sauce, the fries were cold. I thought yes, this is not going to happen, we settled and had to pay €4.25 for a small bottle of water of 50 cl, which is of course bizarre, so I recommend not to eat there, a waste of money, not worth your money! It was one of the cheapest restaurants on the street, there was hardly anyone there, while the other restaurant was full and it was full, of course we could see it, but it is what it is, that is why I am writing this feedback because I hope that no one experienced the same thing as what we experienced yesterday, it ended up being more expensive, we then went to eat somewhere else, we couldn't eat there, it wasn't food, there were cockroaches chilling around our table while we were eating. People from England have to pay extra at checkout if they use their debit card, which is why customers also left angry!!!!

Do not come here!!! Food is awful drinks are terrible they were pretty nice about it but still wanted us to pay for sub par meals and that’s generous! it was a complete waste of money. Two of us ordered a medium steak, one came well done and one came rare!! And my other friend literally choked on her steak, if we had not realised sooner, the hospital would have been the next stop on our tour. I advise you check reviews and save your money.

You should actually try Google first.....the food was terrible, the salad still had the stalk on it, the fries were unseasoned but by far the most edible. Spare rib and meat tough, stringy, inedible. My strange tasting burrito. The cola, advertised as Coca Cola on the menu, was DEFINITELY not Coca Cola, not even Pepsi...it seemed more like water with cola syrup. Bread as a starter was dry, soggy and to top it off there was RATINY BUTTER. All in all a huge disappointment. Hands off...we paid almost 100 euros for 3 girls. And we had NO STEAKS!

We were dropped right outside the door. Despite our gut feeling, we came clean and got behind it. Bread with garlic butter -> the butter was rancid and didn't taste like garlic. The advertised Coca Cola was definitely not original. Dishes were carelessly prepared, meat was tough. Partially forgotten order. No recommendation!

Got scammed on a coke got charged nearly 6 euros. On menu it was less than 3 euros. Didnt make a fuss because i was on holiday. Dodgy daves defo won't be going back. Hope that 3 euros was worth it. The ribs was extremely dry and tough. Server had the nerve to throw my change on the table when i said i wanted change for my 20!!

Had dinner with a large group last Saturday evening. The waiter is unperturbed, does not listen, everything takes far too long and the food is simple and not tasty. Atmospheric room for our group, never again!

On menu Soft drinks like Cola is priced for 2.50 - But when you need to pay, on recepit u see 5.90€ for cola... can u imagine, just for carbonated water with syrup inside.... that is crazy If you will ask "why" they will say, - Yes that was large cola, wich they do, they pour it in beer glass wich is 0.5 even thoe u asked just for Cola itself, not large not small when on menu it was 2.50. I understand that business probably is not doing so well but why we should scam each other. ?

Be carefull scammers!!! Those guys at the restaurant in Amsterdam totally ripped us off. They tried to double-charge us for the VAT by saying the receipt didn't include it. What a scam! I'm reporting them to the financial police for sure.

Just ordered food for 70 euros. I have never experienced such terrible food, even the first time I wrote a review, but this is really not possible. Had to wait an hour and a half for food. Lamb chops can't get through so tough, mix beef with onion and pepper terribly tough. Sparerips undercooked fries, I think they forgot to fry them. Not to mention the salad...no dressing, no sauce, nothing nada Very bad. Definitely wouldn't order there. The case cannot be reached by telephone. Then unfortunately only via review.

The products are beautiful. Atmosphere too. The service was good, but the staff who spoke Turkish acted like foreigners even though they understood that we were Turkish. Well, it's not a big deal, but I found it strange.

My mom and I had the fajita pollo, it took them about 20 minutes to prepare the dish, everything was fine we've salted and peppered to taste, not their fault, the chicken was good and the peppers fresh. Only the fries we had on the side had no salt whatsoever. Besides that Service was nice and fast. Solid restaurant!

I ordered a sirloin steak from here. It was the worst cut of sirloin steak I’ve ever had. Very fatty and lacked flavour. The steak had a boiled taste. The fries and salad were okay, but I could not get ever the disappointment of the steak

If I could give -10000 out of 10, my rating would be like this. The most terrible place I've ever visited in Amsterdam. Well, let's start with the food - it's awful. Here, they don’t ask you about which steak do you want, but simply present you with the fact that it will be Medium. And as a result they bring it Raw. The cocktails are terrible, too sweet or sour. The best thing that can be is Corona beer. The building itself looks shabby, there is a lot of dust and dirt, the toilets are dirty and broken. Cutlery and crockery leave much to be desired. Now the most interesting part is the staff. If you like to dine when the waiter stares at you a meter from your table - welcome. It’s very uncomfortable to eat here, the waiter whistles, the second waiter sits on the next table and holds his head, almost falling asleep. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place. Not worth the money or your time or attention. Disgusting place.

The food is alright so it’s a shame I have to give a poor review. The server tried to con my girlfriend into overpaying. He gave himself a 25% tip before giving us the bill. Luckily my girlfriend caught it and made him correct it. It seems it is his goal to rip off tourists. We are not tourists and would never fall for such a scam but if you are visiting beware.

If you want to eat late, it is okay, but if you are very hungry, you should not come directly. Even if you peel a salad from it... The steak was very medium but the entrecôte was not. We are so sorry... I wish we had gone to another place

Beim suchen nach ein Restourant wo wir was essen könnten, sind wir auf die Restourant gestoßen. Wir wurden von Tür sehr freundlich begrüsst und bis zum Tisch begleitet. Die Dame hat uns erkärt die Menükarte, hat Zeit genommen, war sehr feundlich und sehr and Kunden interessiert. Das Essen kam schön serviert und wir müssten nicht sehr lange warten. Das essen wat sehr lecker, würde gerne noch mal kommen. Da wir nicht viel Zeit hatten, musste das sehr schnell bei uns gehen sonst würde ich bisschen mehr aus dem Restourant probieren. Sehr emphlenswert.

Das wohl günstigste und leckerste Essen in Amsterdam, haben leider das Restaurant 2 Tage vor der Abreise kennen gelernt, sonst wären wir dort 1 Woche lang, zum Mittag Essen hingegangen :) Nächstes Jahr Urlaub, gerne erneut dorthin. Kann die Schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen, schade für den Betreiber, der auch sehr nett ist ! Solche schlechten Bewertungen machen einen Laden Kaputt...

Wir hatten Burger und waren leider nicht zufrieden mit dem Geschmackserlebnis. Das Bun war unseres Erachtens nach zu knusprig, die dicke Tomate hat meiner Meinung nach nichts im Burger zu suchen und das Patty war auch nur zufriedenstellend gut. Die Pommes waren leider nicht knusprig genug. Als wir zahlen wollten war 15min kein Personal aufzufinden. Haben im Restaurant auch gesucht jedoch erfolglos, nach 15min warten kam jedoch wieder eine Kellnerin, die wohl auf Pause war in der Zeit.

You have to go in with your eyes open. This is a typical tourist restaurant. Of course the service may be slow and the prices higher than expected. However our experience was great. Good steaks, good pasta, good wine, good service. Would recommend going early, like 6:30, before the rush.

Leider mehr als enttäuscht. Wir haben die große Fleischmixplatte für 2 Personen gehabt, und waren von dieser mehr als enttäuscht. Die Garnelen waren angebrannt, das Fleisch war ungewürzt und teilweise zäh, der Salat war lieblos angerichtet. Für 65 Euro erwartet man hier schon deutlich mehr. Auch die sog. Grillplatte war kalt, was dem Geschmack des Fleisches ebenfalls nicht gut tat. Wir haben beim Bezahlen der Rechnung dem Wirt/Kellner mitgeteilt, dass wir unzufrieden sind. Er war uneinsichtig, uns wurde erklärt dass das Fleisch wie bestellt medium sei. Der Gast beschwert sich über die Qualität des Fleisches und es geht dann eine Diskussion über das Essen los? Das geht garnicht. Wir teilten ihm auch mit, dass die Gerichte kalt wären, weil im Tischgrill die Kerze fehlte. Ebenfalls ein Minuspunkt. Leider wurde bei der Rechnung unsere Kritik nicht beachtet, so kann ich nur 1 Punkt geben. 0 geht bei Google leider nicht. Fazit: Enttäuschend

Ate here for all 3 nights we were in Amsterdam. All meals were great, tender steak, tasty chicken and ribs. Hot and fresh. Crispy salad, plenty of chips. Friendly cat and attentive waitress. Would definitely go back.
