Arigato in Wijk 13 't Hout

We had a wonderful experience at Café De Kade. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and the place feels very welcoming. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything was well taken care of, and you can really feel the positive vibe of the café. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Worst service imaginable. People are impatient with calls and arrogant. They just hang up if they don't like it. Don't buy anything here.

This was our second time eating here. We always made reservations through a social deal. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the courses followed each other at a leisurely pace, without having to wait too long. We arrived 45 minutes earlier than our reservation time, but this wasn't a problem; we were seated right away.

Warning! Check the bill before paying. €14.80 for two hot chocolates without whipped cream. When I commented on that, I was reprimanded. €7.40 turned out to be the correct amount. The staff has absolutely no experience in the restaurant industry! See also Mark's comment from two weeks ago about the prices. We will never be back either.

I got myself some big snacks, which were as promised: tasty :)
