I’ve never found such a nice place like this to have noodles since I left China! Best noodle restaurant Amsterdam ever, and the service and price are really good as well, for students is affordable. Suggestions include Shanghai baby baichoy with mushrooms (my favorite vegetable) and all kinds of noodles!

It is a terrible restaurant and you should keep your distance from it. It has a few names probably in order to confuse you. Shanghai Soup fuming appears in the invoice, but outside it says Amsterdam Thai grill. Another name is Asiadam Chinese Japanese. The reviews look manipulated with a very long wors reviews alongside with very good ones. This does not look a normal divination. I walked in not suspecting anything until the waiter came up with a big bottle of water claiming they did not have anything smaller. I became suspicious and decided to check the restaurant before ordering main dish so I ordered only Tom ka kay soup. By the time the soup came I already understood I was sitting in a terrible restaurant due to the reviews I've read. See The soup had a disgusting taste of fish. I asked the waiter to check with the chef if they put any oyster sauce or any fish in it. They said they didn't but didn't take any responsibility for the soup that smelled and tasted like fish. I just left after after the soup.

Very rude staff, refused to give us tap water for the table despite us also ordering chargeable drinks with the food. Food was edible but for the price I would have expected much better.

I‘m not sure if it was this one, but it’s the place where you have to climb the stairs to enter. Good food with good price and nice staff. I recommend the sea bass big hotpot bowl!

Massaman curry, veggie noodles, veggi dumplings and veggie spring rolls. Food was really good and service too. Size of dishes is very good, we couldn't finish our plates. Open until late too!

The Thai iced black tea and spicy beef noodles are both delicious. I also like the atmosphere of the restaurant. It is a dark and quiet environment, and the waiter's attitude is also very good and polite. The only drawback is that the price is a bit expensive among similar restaurants.

We had to cover a protest that happened on the Dam, for 2.5 hours. It was cold and we were hungry. So we went to this restaurant because it has Thai, Chinese and Japanese food. So, easy to choose. The food was blant. We have ordered Thai food (Pad see ew, papaya salad, sticky mango rice), Chinese food (Wonton soup), and white rice. Papaya salad was not papaya salad. It was just a salad without seasoning. It was not sour or even spicy. Pad see ew was delicious, sticky and nicely spiced. The price is reasonable, since it is Amsterdam and it is quite expensive in general. But the service was good, the waitress was kind and nice.

Service was nice and the location on the first floor was OK. However, the food was a disaster, the tom yam soup was very watery so I asked for soy sauce. And the rice noodle soup with chicken was a horror, tasted like old chicken, very cruel. All in all not recommended! We're still feeling sick just from trying it.

We waited 40 minutes, they forgot 3 of our dishes (which were quick starters to make), they brought us 2 drinks even though there were seven of us (and we had to ask for glasses three times because apparently they don't know counting), the cutlery wasn't complete either (because, once again, they don't know how to count apparently) and it was overpriced. A real tourist trap, to avoid!

I've seen jokes but this restaurant is one of the best, with the difference that there are very few laughs there. Abominable service, multiple oversights, questionable cuisine too long and too expensive. To flee

I ordered at Uber eats where they sell under the name: Thai Grill. Terrible food, so so incredible gross and expensive. Never go here.

Excellent service. The boss warmly introduced the restaurant's history, nearby attractions, as well as the sources of ingredients and cooking methods. We ordered two servings of Hunan beef noodle soup, customized to the local preferred level of spiciness, while still preserving the original delicious broth. The beef, in particular, was plentiful and tender. The prices were a little high, but considering the high-quality ingredients and the prime location, it's acceptable.

Great QUALITY food...you pay a bit more but eg actual chicken breast etc. Well worth it

Nicht der schönste Asiate, man ist Besseres gewohnt, auch die Preise sind ziemlich hoch angesetzt, allerdings war das Essen geschmacklich in Ordnung und hübsch angerichtet. Nochmal wiederkommen werde ich aber nicht.

Deze middag hier ongelooflijk lekkere noodles gegeten. Kok is blijkbaar van hunan. Hij maakt hunan rijstnoodles in een sublieme bouillon. Wij hadden de pikante variant met traaggegaard buikspek dat een diepe smaak had. Lekker verse, beetgare groenten erin. De mabotofu, 1 v onze favorieten, is hier ook bijzonder lekker. Een aanrader!

A very pleasant surprise to find such great quality Chinese food in Amsterdam. My girlfriend is Chinese so I am always looking for authentic Chinese dishes and this restaurant did not disappoint. The service was excellent and our waiter one of the most friendly and fun people I have met traveling. The chef special beef noodle soup was outstanding. If time permits I will definitely return there again

The food was great and so filling, we got Pepper Steak and General Tao’s Chicken. We were the last table of the night and the staff treated us so welcoming and friendly. They made being there a pleasure.

Der Hunger hat uns dorthin verschlagen - wir waren nur mäßig begeistert. Es waren nur eine Familie und wir im Restaurant, bereits das fanden wir merkwürdig, weil die Gegend ja doch sehr belebt ist. Obwohl so wenig Kundschaft da war, mussten wir wirklich lange (ca. 45 Min.) auf unser Essen (Nudeln mit Gemüse) warten. Nudeln waren dann doch gut - deshalb 2 Sterne - aber im Großen und Ganzen kein positives Erlebnis.

Ankunft ca 20:00, wir waren 6 Personen. Restaurant war etwa zur Hälfte voll. Bedienung kam nach ca 5 min mit der Karte und nahm Getränke und Essen auf. Ca 10 min später kamen die Getränke. Soweit noch okay. Doch dann brach etwas Chaos aus. Unsere Bestellungen kamen völlig durcheinander, Hauptspeise vor Vorspeise und Suppe, Dessert teilweise mit Vorspeise zusammen und als wir zahlen wollten, mussten wir erst 45 min warten bis jemand kam. Als dann jemand gekommen ist, stimmte der Betrag überhaupt nicht. Wir gingen etwa um 22:00 Fazit Essen völlig in Ordnung, Service kann kaum schlechter sein.

Kann die Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Schnelle und nette Servicemitarbeiter. Wer sich wegen den Preisen beschwert, sollte bedenken, wir sind in bester Lage und dementsprechend sind die Preise. Wie alle anderen Restaurants hochpreisig. Würden immer wieder das Restaurant besuchen.
