MOMO in Museumkwartier

We visited as a group and were seated in a beautiful private dining area. The service was good and the setting was very pleasant. However, considering the brand’s reputation, the overall experience felt like it was missing a certain finishing touch.

Went for lunch from my company. I am carnitarian but there were some veg food in the menu and we had two server for us . They were attentive and explained every meal that I was having just to make sure that there were no any fish or seafood in the dish.

Not much to choose from, and of the few things that were available the quality was not was I expected from a such fancy place

Nice convenient restaurant with good food. I did find the service somewhat slow and we arrived 4:30pm so maybe they were understaffed? Food was good - ate exclusively sushi.

My waiter for the evening was a lovely guy called Istuán He took great care of my friends and I but particularly paid special attention to the food allergies I have. He spoke with chef first and then explained for every course that was ordered what would be safe for me to eat and what wasn’t which I greatly appreciated. The whole experience was fabulous for us with it being the first time there. I would highly recommend MOMO and will definitely be going back 👍

Disappointing experience – definitely not recommended What a disappointment. The food was far too expensive for what you actually got; the quality was severely lacking and completely disproportionate to the price. As if that wasn't enough, a 12.5% ​​tip was added without prior consultation. That feels really unfair. For me, this is definitely not worth repeating. Too bad, but I won't be returning.

What a beautiful place, kind staff too. Though when we entered to be seated, two servers apparently on their break skipped right past us without even saying hello. A colleague came a while later saying someone else would attend us, which took quite a while. The €19 cocktail was OK, the two chicken skewers (€18) had a very simple taste. The prawns weren’t salted. All in all a very average experience for what seems to be an upscale place.

I've been coming to Momo for over 15 years… Except on the service featuring less waiters than before, the quality of the food is still the best!

A long-overdue reunion with a friend brought me to this restaurant, and I'm genuinely thrilled I took her recommendation. The experience started with an amazing culinary spread. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was executed flawlessly. The Lobster Tacos were fresh and zesty, the Momo Roll was delicate and flavourful, the Satay Chicken was perfectly charred with rich peanut notes, and the Tempura Prawns were irresistibly crisp. Each item was clearly crafted with care, and the kitchen’s mastery was evident. Beyond the excellent food, the service was great—attentive, timely, and genuinely friendly. But please, heed my warning: save room for dessert. The true showstopper was the Black Sesame Ice Cream. I won't go into detail because I want you to experience the surprise yourself, but I can hint that it involves a playful, unexpected wrapping. Imagine a sweet twist on a savoury concept—like a dessert burrito. It’s an absolute must-try and the perfect ending to an exceptional meal.

It's pricey but great food, the vegetables were well prepared and the sauce was delicious, staffs are nice. Highly recommend: Wagyu.

The serving speed was too slow — we ordered four dishes, but ended up spending two and a half hours in the restaurant.

All those low ratings seem to be due to the prices. As a former chef of a michelin Star Restaurant I definitely recommand this sushi experience. Top quality of the products, real wasabi and very well done by the kitchen. For european standards this is an absolutely enjoyable, top quality sushi place as you will not find very often here. It’s a shame, that so many people with no knowledge are judging here. And it must be hard for the kitchen crew to hold up their high standards even though most of their guests are tourists, burning their money without understanding even a bit of what high level food they get. THAT is almost as embarrassing as the poorly competent ratings here…

I was only here for breakfast but the breakfast was very nice. I had an avocado with poached eggs on toast. There's a great buffet selection but also some fantastic cook to order options too.

I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. The portions are very small and extremely expensive. I had the worst sea bass in my life that was very salty and without a taste.

The spinach salad is delicious! The meat was a bit disappointing.

The lobster taco was a revelation: succulent chunks of lobster, bright bursts of citrus, enclosed in a delicate shell, with just enough heat to excite without overwhelming. The pad Thai was perfect in its texture—soft noodles, crisp bean sprouts, a rhythm of sweet, sour, and umami that never felt cloying. Torched salmon sushi glowed amber-gold, the char bringing out smoky richness while silky fish and sharp soy danced. The shrimp dim sum with truffle sauce was decadent, with tender shrimp wrapped in delicate pastry, elevated by the earthiness of the truffle. The asparagus was a pleasant surprise—simple yet refined, grilled to perfection with a subtle smokiness that made it stand out on the table. Ambience, service, and flavour all aligned: a meal that felt like a celebration of Asian fusion done with finesse.

We are staying at the Park Centraal attached to MOMO. We thought we would try the restaurant for dinner. We walked in the same door we used for breakfast. No one greeted me. After a few minutes with many staff walking by, I asked if I should seat myself. I was sternly looked at and told that I came in through the wrong door. I should have left at this point. I was taken to the ‘proper’ entrance on the opposite side, only accessible from the sidewalk. Even though it was not busy we were seated directly next to another table. The sushi was quite good, although could have used more rice. The chicken satay was not flavourful and just okay. The tempura salt and pepper green beans were extremely bland, mostly tasting of oil. For the price it was definitely not worth it.

What a fantastic evening at Momo and exquisitely attended to by all the staff but particularly Lesley! The food was absolutely legendary - particularly the wagyu, prawns with yuzu, and the incredible Matcha lava cake - omg 🤩. Great atmosphere with great beats and brimming with conversation and obvious excitement. Looked after dairy and gluten allergies for the partner a massive bonus. Thanks team Momo.

Great place to get your everyday shopping in Paris.

I had called in to surprise-pay for people I knew there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they helped direct me on how to pay for their bill as well as kept it a secret from them until they were ready to check out. Super nice and helpful staff, and the two guests loved everything from the food to the drinks to the desserts. I'll definitely make my way there next time I'm in Amsterdam, and the girls loved their experience! Thank you!

Eugenio is truly the best kitchen chef in the world! An absolutely amazing culinary experience from start to finish. I really appreciate the attention to detail and how warmly we were welcomed. The cocktails at the bar were also incredible, adding even more magic to the evening. MOMO has reached a whole new level!

Went to Momo to celebrate the anniversary with my partner. The ambiance and service were amazing, food was pretty good but wouldn't say anything spectacular. Except the dessert, we got something with the word garden in it and it was super delicious!

We had a lovely experience at MOMO! We ordered the chicken, cod dishes and salad, were delicious and beautifully presented. The waitress recommended a wine that paired perfectly with our meal, and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very attentive and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. Highly recommend this place for a special night out in Amsterdam!

Disappointed with the ceviche dishes. The ceviche had no flavor and definitely isn’t worth the price. Looks nice, but that’s about it.

We had an absolutely terrible experience. We ordered a variety of dishes, including a full plate of chicken that we didn’t even touch, as we were already full. When we asked if we could take the leftovers home in a doggy bag, we were shocked to be told they’d rather refund us than let us take the food with us. It was an untouched plate of meat, and they still refused. Such a senseless and frustrating waste of perfectly good food—completely unacceptable.

We had a wedding anniversary dinner with our kids. We really enjoyed our meal here! The prices are high but they offer very good food and drinks..especially cocktails. The dim sum was legendary.

My breakfast experience was special. The dishes are prepared in front of you and the food is varied. They also have coffee grinders that grind and prepare the coffee.

For how expensive it was I wanted the food to be better. It was also SO loud and the booths were awkward to sit and eat in.

Fancy place nice food: I did not like that they brought the bill with a 12% of service included which forces you almost to accept it by making it embarrassing to ask to remove it.

Hello, frist time in Amsterdam and happy we had dinner here. In general it was a really nice vibe with the DJ that was playing. Unfortunately, we came in on a night where the whole system broke down, no receipts, all done by hand a bit chaotic. Could’ve gone badly but Jacky our waitress kept everything together. Super calm and friendly, she even offered us drinks while we waited longer for the check. Honestly didn’t mind the delay thanks to her energy and recommended dishes see you next time Momo. We had such a great evening with the tasting menu. Our waiter was Lesly and he was very kind. I did not like the desert (personal taste) and then he asked the chef to make something else for me that looked pretty and tasted so well. Dont go if you want to eat quick, but take the time to enjoy the amazing food and a glass of champagne. Yes, it is expensive, but you know what you sign up for…

I wrote my experience 2 years ago but they won’t let me post it so i repost my experience again Orders: Chicken skewers 6/10 (it’s should be with peanut sauce but the taste was too light) Shrimp roll 10/10 (it was the yummiest sushi ever!! I recommend it for sure) Noodles 2/10 ( too sweet too spicy) edamame 10/10 ( it was tasty I love it) Black cod 1/10 ( TOO SWEET not eatable) Experience: The waiters aren't looking for people even when your hand hangs up. I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to get me the bill, and you can't take leftovers to go; they'll throw them out and won't let you give them away to poor people. I paid too much for a bad service.

Just went in for a late drink and stayed for 3. Barman was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt all about Bols (a Dutch gin-like spirit). He made a bespoke cocktail which was fantastic. Good atmosphere.

We had to wait an incredibly long time for both our food and drinks. There seemed to be little overview or attention from the staff. Service was not friendly or involved and it felt like we had to take the initiative ourselves to get something done. No apologies for the long wait and just little service feeling. For a place with such a name and appearance you expect more. Too bad because the atmosphere and location are nice in themselves but that is not enough to come back again

3 times eaten, 1st time great! 2nd time meh, 3rd time regret we went, the service was so bad, and the food not good! Bill of 280 euros for 2 people and another 20 euros tip for what actually? Give standard tip, but they certainly did not deserve it! Never come here again!

We ordered 3 dishes, absolute disappointment in all three, the deep-fried squid was terrible, the sauce was salty and not peppered as originally indicated on the menu, the sushi was served without sauce and was absolutely not tasty, sticky rice with a strange taste, the fish did not seem very fresh, the last dish, octopus, was also too salty and the corn turned out to be sandy and crunchy on the teeth, it was impossible to eat. When we told the waiter that we didn’t like anything and the food was terrible, he brought us the bill and didn’t even apologize or try to somehow rectify the situation or offer at least a drink at the house’s expense, we had to pay the full bill. A pass-through place, with inflated prices, low level of service and not tasty food, designed for a one-time visitor. It's a shame that places with such a good location in a central location in Amsterdam can be of such poor quality.

The food was amazing!! We don’t drink alcohol and their Italian bartender fixed us some virgin drinks - we had an unforgettable evening - everything was perfect.

we visited momo after kingsday celebration. I tried crown jewel coctail and ıt was amazing. the. we tried karai mango mojito but it was on average. lobster taco was amazing ans super fresh!! we love it. salmon taco also so fresh but not special.

More stars are not necessary for value for money. Oh well, don't expect service here.

Some dishes good, some are poor. Nice staff - Aldo was great and the cocktail was great. But there isn’t an Atmosphere. The yellow fin ceviche was particularly poor, pure salt and soy - a very poor example of a ceviche.

We visited Momo during our visit in Amsterdam. Having experienced different Asian fusion cuisine in the recent weeks, after looking at the menu we were looking forward to the meal. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the host and offered space at the bar for pre dinner drinks. Cocktails were amazing, music played by the DJ and general vibe was awesome. But it went downhill from there. At the table food arrived before drinks. Having first bite of salmon tacos (had them many times before, in different restaurants worldwide, subconsciously I knew what taste to expect) I couldn’t hide a disappointment. It was so bland. Kind crab tacos were slightly better. Mono roll, only wasabi seemed good. Tuna tataki and sea bass ceviche, dressings were so overpowering we couldn’t taste the fish. Tuna Tatar with caviar, was just ok. Beef skewers in OX dressing we put it down after first bite. Each dish is amazingly presented, but I don’t think the ingredients (fish and meat) are the highest quality or fresh, as you can’t taste them. The dishes are not balanced with all the flavour elements.

Momo is great, the food and especially the sushi is a highlight. The people who come there are sometimes a bit too much, but the service and the food are great. Recommended if you like good service and good food!

Teníamos algunos calamares picantes fritos y tacos para las aplicaciones. Tuve que pedir un mínimo de cuatro tacos. Probamos dos cangrejos y dos langostas. Algo más grande que un bocado. Ambas aplicaciones eran buenas. Para el almuerzo todos pedimos la caja de doblez. Dos con bacalao negro y uno con ensalada de ternera tailandesa. La comida era buena. Lo recomendaría para ocasiones especiales porque del punto de precio. Recomiendo, pero no es fuera de este mundo donde volvería. El servicio era bueno.

Went here with my partner to enjoy drinks in the evening and had an absolute memorable time here. We were mainly hosted by Leslie, whom is so hospitable and actually recommended us amazing sushi too. I had dinner at night with some clients, and I loved the restaurant, from the attention at the entrance that I didn't have a reservation, the local DJ music that you could talk to calmly, the spectacular food, I let myself be advised by him. Enric, head of the room, shows the professionalism, all the dishes were up to par as I expected and he served us as Yaqui, charming. Thank you very much, I will repeat every time I go to Amsterdam
