Last two orders were really bad. Gyoza was burned and cold, the salad of the suka wakame was old and California roll not of the quality they used to serve Real shame!!

Al meer dan 10 jaar ons favoriete Aziatische restaurant in Amsterdam zuid, nabij het Vondelpark. De kaart verveelt nooit. De sushi is goddelijk om mee te beginnen als voorgerecht en de hoofdgerechten zijn eveneens heerlijk. We kozen dit keer voor de Dragon roll, de Crab & Prawn roll en Vietnamese rice wraps als voorgerecht . Als hoofdgerecht namen we dit keer eens iets anders. We zijn gek op de Peking eend en de Kip/ mango maar dit keer werd het de Szechuan Crab. Wat een smaak sensatie! En de steamed scallop is ook heerlijk!!

First time I ordered sushi from here, I was amazed, felt very fresh, good quality, worth every penny. Tbh I was disappointed today, it was still good, but nothing like the first time. 1. Maki was chewy 2. overall the rolls felt cold? I know it was a delivery, and the delivery person disappeared for 20+ minutes from the route, but it just didn’t feel as fresh. 3. Seems like a different cut of tuna has been used for sashimi? Last time it was nice pink with great texture and this time this weird pale greyish one :/ Added photos and while the light differs, it was definitely not the same type today… Consistency matters.

We came with low expectations and we had an amazing dinner. Is like a “tapas” service in Asian food. The food in general is great, from the tuna, passing through rolls and dumplings and ending with the Grand Dessert, a mix of almost all their dessert options. Guys, we can't believe that could be so great. The service is outstanding.

We stumbled across the place as it was the only sushi restaurant we could find on short notice with open reservations. The fact that all the other places we tried were booked for 6 weeks in advance and only had waitlist, and this place had a wide open reservation for the night made me skeptical. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. The food was very fresh, with great sized portions especially for the price. A lot of mid range sushi places will shrimp on the portions (thin sashimi, small rolls etc) but not here. Chunky sashimi, and the rolls were very balanced with fresh ingredients. However the best part was the service. The staff were very friendly, and attentive and personable. It really elevated the experience. Really glad we found this place. We would absolutely return again.

the short CHINESE female manager thinks she is is a work camp there are many issues in this small place .this restaurant is not welcome in my AMSTERDAM . perhaps they should try again in their home country .we will take care of the one way airline tickets . have a nice trip .

I ordered delivery and it was really good. Not a fan of fried shrimps sushi in general, but they have great combinations. The oysters were nice and the steam dumplings with shrimps. Will definitely order again.

AVOID IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES. If someone is allergic to sesame, that means ALL sesame products, including oil. It's only logical. The manager seemed to have nonsensically convinced herself that, to the point of becoming argumentative, that if someone is allergic to the seeds, then sesame oil is somehow okay. There is no logic to this thinking. So, if you're allergic to sesame, steer clear of this place, because it's in everything, including the soy sauce. Also, saying, "this is Asian food. It all has sesame" is another nonsense argument. We left, walked across the street to the Vietnamese restaurant where NOTHING had sesame. What an obnoxious experience at Dragon.

Lovely restaurant which specializes in sharing the food. We were a bit confused at first because food came slowly one by one (my cold cuts/sushi arrived first and much later my partner got his hot meat dishes) this did not affect our experience nor the delightful taste of the food. Asked for extra white rice for my +80 eur order from this restaurant but at my surprise someone called me to ask me to pay for the full portion of rice… when I refused the order was just cancelled on Uber eats. Poor service, poor behaviour. I will never order or go to this restaurant. Your lost.

Delicious! We really like coming here. We often take the seaweed salad, dragon roll and the salmon roll. The wafu steak and the fried rice. And for dessert we like to have the flambéed crêpe with ice cream. The atmosphere is always good. The staff is always the nicest.

Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. Then 2 days(!) before the booking I got a call that we cannot come and they are canceling our reservation. Only explanation was "we did not check your reservation until now". They did not even say sorry.

The service was bad and rude. The food is mediocre. I would not recommend to go there, there are many better sushi restaurants in the city.

Our reservation for 7 o'clock was confirmed, but upon arrival, there was no table available. We were informed that the table would be free at 7:30, with no guarantee for 7:15. Despite arriving at 7:30 as advised, there was still no table. This inconsistency in information and unfulfilled promises led to a frustrating experience. Improved communication and reliability are essential for customer satisfaction

In 1 woord: awesome!!! We waren laat door het OV waardoor we nog maar 1 uur hadden vóór onze afspraak. De gastvrouw en het overige personeel waren meer dan behulpzaam. Ze begrepen onze vertraging en hadden al ons eten in een paar minuten op tafel. Alles was heerlijk en vers. Veel variatie en niet duur. 1 van de weinige restaurants waar zowel service als het eten goed waren. Wij komen zeker terug!!

Dragon Sushi is a neighborhood sushi restaurant with nice good quality sushi options. I had miso soup, wasabi scallop roll, new style california roll, crispy tuna nigiri, and dragon roll and paid €40,30 total for takeaway. Recommend it if you seek nice sushi options with normal prices

Echt goed eten en goede service. Snel, ziet er prachtig uit, goede smaken en goede kwaliteit producten. Prijs ook netjes.

Buitengewoon vriendelijke bediening (in Amsterdam vaak niet het geval) die ondanks de drukte in alle rust het menu en de wijze van bestellen (via een kruisjeslijst) uitlegde. En ondanks dat het binnen èn buiten vol zat liep het uitserveren in een prettig tempo en was de bediening steeds attent aanwezig. Het menu is fantastisch: creatief en met ingrediënten van uitstekende kwaliteit. Twee voorbeelden: de verrukkelijke sushi met foie gras (Japans met een vleugje Frans) en de gestoomde oesters (stevig en smaakvol). Wij komen hier graag terug!

Eten is uitstekend, bediening uiterst vriendelijk. Toch een matige ervaring. Drankjes worden geserveerd zonder viltje, bestellen door in te vullen op papieren formulier en afrekenen duurt een eeuwigheid. Voor deze prijs mag je echt meer verwachten.

Honestly, what an amazing restaurant. It was awesome and the food was fresh and delicious. The sashimi was fresh and I preferred the salmon over the tuna. The sushi’s were all brilliant. We recommend the dragon and wasabi sushi. They also made us spicy salmon on request! On the mains the hot pot chicken and the shezwan crab were amazing. Also the scallop bites. We recommend everything. Going there again for sure and the staff were also super sweet and nice. 10/10!

Excellent! Delicious food and with an incredible presentation, the dishes are small which helps you to try more variety of your extensive menu. It is a very pleasant atmosphere, it makes you feel in a cozy place but at the same time you do not forget that you are in a place with a lot of style. The attention is very friendly, asking if we need something and I saw how many happy birthday sang which makes a very happy atmosphere.

Very mediocre food at best. The sushi seemed pre-made, definitely not fresh. We also ordered the “crispy” chicken, chicken skewers, and rice. Everything was extremely greasy. The food tasted exactly like American Chinese take out. Very surprised at how highly rated the restaurant is
