It might be a small restaurant, but the food is fantastic!! The weather was nice, so I could sit outside and had a delicious green curry tofu. The staff is friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back again.

Rare that I ever offer 5 stars, but the food here was exemplary! To be honest, my wife had tried to find a good Chinese restaurant that seemed reasonably priced with previous reviews from Google. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty apart from a couple sitting eating outside. I was a little apprehensive that how quiet it was could mean that it wasn’t quite as good as reviews, but my wife then accosted the couple eating outside and asked if their food was any good and they said it was excellent and they were returning guests. We were greeted by staff and given the option whether to eat inside or out, with my wife opting to eat inside as it was starting to get a little chilly outside. We were given the menu, and being hungry, we ordered quite a lot of food. The waitress was kind enough to prompt us that it may be too much food for two people, but she also said she could pot up anything that was left over. We ordered the mixed starter, kong po shrimp, Japanese udon noodles with shrimp and chicken and then finally the chicken in curry sauce (the mains come with plain rice). The food arrived promptly (but not too quickly. At no point did we ever feel rushed) Then just wow! Excellent food. My favourite was the Japanese udon noodles, which I’d describe as a simple dish but was so full of flavour. All the food was truly excellent and the best meal out we’ve had out for a long time. By the time we left, the restaurant was nicely busy. Would 100% recommend.

The customer service was great, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very pleasant. The portions were also quite generous. However, I think the restaurant needs to improve the quality of its food. We ordered the Tom Yum soup, beef curry, and beef soybean dish, and unfortunately, none of them met our expectations. All three dishes tasted overly salty and lacked the flavors I would normally expect from Thai or Asian cuisine. I’ve tried many Thai and Asian dishes before, so I feel this wasn’t representative of the authentic flavors. I always try to leave honest reviews, and sadly, this was a disappointing dining experience for me.

We had a delicious meal and discovered this restaurant on a whim. We started with soup and dumplings. Afterwards, we had a noodle dish and a stir-fry with shrimp. The noodle dish also included chicken with the shrimp! We'd gladly come back anytime!

Great Asian fusion on a quiet side street This is a really good, reliable fusion spot that we highly recommend. The Japanese noodles with protein were excellent and flavorful, and the Pad Thai was also a very solid, tasty classic. The service was incredibly warm and friendly, and the restaurant's location on a quiet side street gives it a cozy, authentic atmosphere. Price-wise, it is not cheap, but it’s not too expensive either—very fair for the great quality and portions. We would gladly come back!

What a wonderful experience at this place on Amstelstraat. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The soup in the bowl with the blue and white pattern, in particular, tasted absolutely fantastic. The rest of the dishes also looked amazing and tasted exactly as you would hope. We finished with refreshing drinks with fresh mint that were perfectly presented. We will definitely be back here again.

Wow, best place I have ever had noodles. So fresh and portion size is huge! Loads of meat and seafood in there so very generous. Also a lovely friendly place where staff are welcoming. We went twice on our 4 day trip as the food was so good we didn't want to eat elsewhere. If you like Asian food, then this place is where to go. I wish we had one in London.

I order three dishes. First one is chicken with lemongrass this diish is very delicious and others is tom kha chicken and cantonese friend rice. Everything is very good and staffes are very kind and take care. If I have chance to come back here again . I will come back this restaurant for sure.

The place really lives up to its name. We were in Amsterdam for three days and on the first day we stumbled here accidentally. The service was great, very polite, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was homey. So naturally we decided to have lunch here all three days we were here. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu but do try their homemade strawberry lemonade as it is heavenly refreshing.

Great little restaurant: very friendly staff (let me charge my phone while dining), good portions, nice taste, and pleasant ambience! I asked for less sugar in my soup and finally had good Thai soup that isn’t sweet to the point of tasting bitter haha. Could enjoy the fragrance from the lemon grass :D

While in Amsterdam, we tried this little restaurant as a family last week and we absolutely loved everything about it: the warm welcome and friendliness, the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the restrooms—everything was perfect (just to remind you of our experience: the young waitress wanted to clear the steamer basket, but my bao was still inside :-))! The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is beautifully decorated; we highly recommend this place!

Spring rolls, fried rice with tofu and spicy sauce on the side, plus chicken gyoza every bite was on point. The combo was fire and the flavors were clean and bold. Classic Asian comfort food done right. Give it a try.

We went to Tasty Asia last night and it completely exceeded expectations. Every dish was prepared individually, so plates arrived at the table fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. You could really taste the care in each bite. What made the experience even better was the personal touch—the chef is the father of the son who was serving tables. He was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and provided genuinely excellent service throughout the night. Great food, great service, and a warm, family-run atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

i went here with a friend, I had high hopes but It didn't go like that, the udon were overcooked and not sautéed, and we also waited a long time , like 1h 30 for eat .. The beef wasn't bad, but after waiting so long we weren't even hungry anymore. maybe we'll try another day (rice ice the homemade)

Visited Tasty Asia on our trip to Amsterdam this week. My daughter Hannah and myself were so impressed by this restaurant which was near our hotel on Rembrandt square. The food and the service was outstanding. We were made to feel so welcome. Best Asian food I've tasted.

The restaurant is cozy, and we were pleasantly surprised, as we didn't think we'd like it given its location. We decided to order an appetizer, which wasn't fresh, and the fried food was quite greasy. When we ordered our main course, we were pleasantly surprised; it was delicious, and the steamed rice was fantastic. Finally, I think the drinks are more expensive than the food, but I would definitely go back. Excellent service; recommended if you're passing through.

Excellent Asian food, great flavor, generous portions, and a good price, especially cheap for a city like Amsterdam. Best of all is the service from Jie, the waiter, who is super friendly and polite. He finds you a table because it's hard to get one since the place is always packed, and he explains the menu options in detail. I definitely recommend this place if you're visiting or live in Amsterdam.

A truly fabulous experience, from the welcome to the bill everything was perfect. Even eating next to some local customers was very pleasant.

The menu is very simple and easy to follow with a decent selection of noodles and rice amongst some other things. I really enjoyed the soup here, it was quiet when i arrived so it came out fast and the service was good. I also think the prices are reasonable for the city.

Looking for a place to eat within walking distance of the Stopera, we stumbled upon Tasty Asia based on excellent reviews. And the high scores are completely deserved! What delicious food! In the Thai Thom Yum soup, you can taste the fresh herbs like lemongrass and jeruk-perut. We highly recommend both options (chicken and shrimp). We really enjoyed the food. In short, when we go to another performance at the Stopera, there's a good chance we'll be back at Tasty Asia!

Delicious and authentic Asian food. The restaurant is small and popular, so making a reservation beforehand is strongly advisable. We did not make a reservation, but luckily a table came free after a 15 minute wait. The food is cooked fresh to order, so at busy times you may wait a while for your food but it is worth the wait. Their home made strawberry iced tea is highly recommended.

We went there spontaneously, without a reservation, and even though it was very busy, we still got a table for three. The service was very friendly, the food and homemade drinks came quickly and there was really nothing to complain about. It was fresh, tasted excellent and was more than reasonably priced. It's a real insider tip and we look forward to coming back.
