What a wonderful discovery! We recently moved to Blaricum, and Bistro Chapeau is already starting to feel like coming home. From the moment you step inside, you feel the warmth and hospitality. The chef is a true craftsman. You can taste in everything that the cooking here is done with passion, knowledge, and attention. Beautiful dishes, amazing flavors, and consistently high quality. He is truly someone who knows his craft. And then there is the service: fantastic. Personal, friendly, attentive, and professional, without ever feeling forced. Exactly how good hospitality should be. We have only just become Blaricum residents, but at Chapeau, we already feel like we have found our regular haunt. A place where you love to walk in, enjoy a delicious meal, have a good time, and go home with a good feeling. If you want to order something from Thuisbezorgd and want it within 2 hours, I wouldn't recommend it, as they are half an hour late. The food is also awful; 50 euros for meat that comes out of the microwave and must be at least 3 days old. If I had known how bad it would be, I would rather not have eaten; I think I would have preferred to eat the packaging it came in rather than this monstrosity. The garlic bread was disgusting too; it had no taste and had definitely been out of the microwave for a very long time. If you have no sense of taste, I would get as many spare ribs as possible, and if you want to chew endlessly, I would get the lamb.

Beautiful terrace with a good view over a lake with an adjacent forest. Friendly and good staff. The menu was a bit unclear regarding what was spicy, etc. The outdoor chairs were on the hard side. There is free Wi-Fi and entertainment (a duck enjoyed biting my finger). The food is very tasty but a bit small. There is a nice atmosphere and it is nicely decorated.
