In a city where you often find terrible customer service and mid food, this restaurant is a breath of fresh air. A small mom n pop restaurant where the owners are warm, friendly and funny. If you ask for 5 minutes to figure out your order, the gentleman will smile at you and say “okay I’ll be back in 6… maybe 10?” The food was also delicious and filling after a 5 day bender. 10/10 would recommend :)

Service was fast friendly and welcoming. Even though near closing time. Food was yummy and worth the price.

I walked all over town looking for a real cup of Indian spiced chai. Not the sugary powder junk that most cafes serve. This place has the real deal - real chai, brewed with milk & spices. Served by a very sweet friendly man. Didn’t eat here so can’t vouch for the food but the chai was perfect. On a nice quiet street, great for people watching.

Exploitative and Rude – Avoid “At Letting” on Prinsenstraat We’re no strangers to Amsterdam prices, especially during major events like Pride—but what happened at At Letting on Prinsenstraat was outright disgraceful. They crossed out the original menu prices with a pen and scribbled inflated ones directly over them to cash in on Pride Day. No updated menus, no explanation—just blatant, opportunistic price gouging. We were charged €21 for THREE small portions of fries and one Coke. Yes, seriously. And as soon as we were almost done eating, one of us tried to use the bathroom and we were rudely told to leave. No basic courtesy, just a clear message: once your money’s spent, you’re no longer welcome. Pride is a celebration of inclusion, respect, and community. Taking advantage of it to gouge visitors is not just greedy—it’s unethical. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are plenty of businesses in Amsterdam that will treat you with dignity and not just as a quick cash grab.

Great find. We went in very hungry. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our lunch experience.

My go to place for breakfast when I am in Amsterdam great people great taste and menu and even u get all type of breakfast from Indian to around the world !! Best for tea and coffee

At Letting is a cozy little café where the food tastes good and is served with a smile. It's a lovely little place, run by a sweet Indian family. Highly recommended if you need to satisfy that little hunger for lunch.

Friendly service, wide variety of drinks and food items. Mango, Apple, Orange smoothie was refreshing on a hot summer day.

I went twice to this place, returning the second time for some more of the best baked Dutch poffertjes (mini pancakes). The coffees were excellent too - my parents had cappuccinos, and I had a flat white, all with oat milk. I highly recommend this place for great value for money food.

I’ve visited Amsterdam many times before and you will not find a restaurant with better food quality, friendly service, and affordable prices anywhere else. Highly recommend eating here!

Please be Aware , owner allow agressive customers to insult you. We had a horrible experience, which a guy start screaming in the restaurant and we ask him to please stop this screaming and the guy almost punch us . The owner allowed him to do what he wanted, for the curious, you already know what kind of nationality . Anyway the Indian food was just eatable .

This family restaurant is a gem. The food is healthy & delicious with everything made from scratch with fresh ingredients. We have stopped here for lunch twice and picked up a carry out dinner. Perfect for a casual meal.
