Couscousbar in Van Lennepbuurt

We ordered on Uber eats a couscous veggie and an add on of meat. For 19+16 euros. A scandal how little the portion was, especially the one of meat. Do not buy from this place.

Unfortunately, I met an unfriendly employee who did not want to understand that if you have 'Harira soup + bread €7.50' on a plate, you can also expect to buy it for that price. When I was at the cash register I suddenly had to pay €8.70. That's just not possible. I was also accused of being antisocial, but I only pointed out to her that you can also expect to pay what is on the card. Then she also said in a threatening voice: 'You are going to pay first!' I left it alone, as a matter of principle I will not pay for scams. I will never come here again!!!

Amazingly delicious and authentic food, we got fully vegan options, and it was so tasty!! We kept complimenting it all the way through eating. And the girl working there was really nice and friendly too, all around amazing experience, definitely will be coming back 🖤

They are calling themselves a Morrocan restaurant, however when asking if the meat is halal the girl had no Idea. We asked if they maybe have a Halal certificate somewhere but she also had no clue. Don’t call yourself a Morrocan restaurant if you don’t even serve Halal meat and educate your employees about the culture you’re portraying.

Food has no taste and is very plain. Food is overpriced. Food is not fresh. Toiletseat is broken, there is no soap, there is no towel or paper. The girl at the bar is super sweet but she is not the owner and therefore can’t fix the problems above.

The food is super delicious, the best couscous I have ever tried in my lifetime, the chicken is perfect, really tender and with the perfect flavor, pumpkin and carrot with tomato is magnificent!! Staff are really kind and can bring you a good day

Delicious, healthy and generous portions! The taste is great and has the perfect mix between protein and veggies! Plus, the staff guided me through the menu 🙏🏻 I loved it here! Definitely recommend!!

The food was really delicious, we bought one dish with sides and it was enough for us small eaters. Delivery was a little bit late but we got accurate updates from the thuisbezorgd app.

The Bissara was delicious and authentic, the couscous was very good. The only things that weren't that good were the beans that were a bit burned and the chickpeas were too hard.

Wow, how grumpy I was served... :( I had to ask for the bread (included with the soup) myself. The portion-price ratio really isn't that good. I won't be coming back here again, unfortunately!

Picked up a portion of Tfaya chicken this afternoon. The service was very good and the portions were generous. The food tasted surprisingly good and I definitely plan to return!

Delicious food, the gluten-free option was very nice for me, the kids got whole wheat couscous. This is the best option for a healthy take out! Kids always enjoy it. Chicken and 7-vegetables with the onion/raisin topping is our favorite

Very nice that they have vegan options! The food was delicious and the portion is good for the price. Service could be a bit more friendly and the interior itself could also be a bit more cozy. But for the food I definitely recommend it!

Got food here 2 times, same dish twice... first time packed with flavor, but the 7 veg was missing 6 veggies... I only got carrots, seemed they had some trouble that day. Would've been nice to call, say sorry, leave a note or something else xtra... but the taste and portion was great. Second time... 7 veggies, but no flavor and not a lot of couscous or chicken.... So... overall, 3 stars.... Staff is friendly and welcoming

Ik heb mijn bestelling via Uber Eats geplaatst en was verrast dat het best wel grote porties zijn! Je kan makkelijk met twee personen, een maaltijd delen! De couscous waren goed gekruid en de kip- en lamsvlees waren heel mals!

Ik ben altijd een groot fan geweest van de Marokkaanse keuken. De kruiden, de manier van bereiden en gewoon de diverse smaken vindt je in geen andere keuken terug. Helaas zijn er in Amsterdam niet veel plekken waar je dit terug zal vindt. Bij de Couscous bar wel! Verse groentes, altijd vriendelijk personeel maar vooral heeeerlijke couscous. Dat stukje Marokkaanse keuken zal je hier gegarandeerd vinden!

Walked into the store today, wanting to be served. The girl didn’t leave her downstairs table to serve me. I know if it was me serving I would leave what I was doing and serve the customer 1st.

Heb dit pareltje bij toeval ontdekt. Mijn favorieten Besara (Marokkaanse Erwtensoep) met komijn en een drup olijfolie VolkorenCousCous, Gestoofde Kippendijen, klassieke 7 groenten, olijven, gekarameliseerde uitjes en rozijnen, amandelen Elke vrijdag het liefst!

Great food, flavor and texture. Beyond delicious, it is healthy and a great cost benefit.

Couscous Bar is a solid 5-stars for quick, healthy, custom, and delicious couscous bowls—vegan and non-vegan choices 😀 Two types of couscous to choose from: regular and whole grain (I prefer the whole grain, but then I like brown rice more than white rice). Also plenty of toppings with a choice of traditional Moroccan stewed vegetables (which was yummy), a sweet potato stew that looked great, and the eggplant (which I could eat as a separate dish all by itself—yummy 😋), and then choice of tempting lamb, moist chicken (what I ordered), or garbanzo beans (vegan choice). Also, the service was top notch. I met the owner—super nice and intelligent lady. Kitchen is super clean (see photos), and there is a terrific looking lounge area in the back. I highly recommend getting an order. I took my order to go and sat along the canals. As a tourist from California, this was the best coucous mix I’ve had in well over a year—even better than my mum’s homemade coucous. I love their, “Made by Mamas” logo 😊

Vriendelijke bediening, vriendelijke prijzen, heerlijke couscous!

Heerlijke couscous gemaakt door een lieve familie. Aardig personeel. Het is alleen erg duur voor wat je krijgt, je moet voor veel dingen bijbetalen. Ook is er geen enorme keuze.

So good! And the homemade harrisa is divine
