What a great place this is! On a sunny busy Saturday I celebrated my birthday here with friends. The service is old-fashioned friendly and knows exactly what they are doing! They discuss with you how you want everything and make sure everyone is having a good time. The food was delicious and everything arrived at the same time. The cocktails here are especially incredibly tasty. No pre-mixed junk and everything is made with love and passion. Don't miss one of the many Bloody Marys! Thanks for a great day guys!

Really nice food for a sunday brunch, would come in a group of 4 to 5 people max. The fried chicken was exquisite.

Amazing, drinks , food and service

My go-to for chicken and waffles. My friend was impressed with his Eggs Benedict and he's reeeeally fussy! Staff are always nice, friendly and accommodating. Might even jump on the brunch boat this summer.

Love the place - the atmosphere, the service usually as well, the food, price/quality but being asked to leave the table because it was needed (there were plenty of empty tables still) within less than 1,5 hours of when we were seated and while we were already about to leave (my friend was still in the bathroom and we were finishing our coffees) was an unpleasant and unexpected surprise. We ordered more than one dish, had quite a few drinks, and then to be hushed out in such a manner (doesn’t matter how friendly you go about it in such a case, the message is the same) is rude and uncalled for.

Great brunch spot! So happy to have found a Ceasar. The owner was welcoming and took the time to chat with us! Will definitely be back.

Got charged for a chipotle mayo that 1. I did not order and 2. Didn’t get. Luckily we didn’t tip. Not coming back and not recommended.

Nice brunch spot where you can book! The chicken and waffle was good, with a generous portion of chicken. The service was also very fast.

It was a very nice experience. The people there are very friendly, music is fantastic and the food is amazing! I had them chicken waffles like nowhere before !! Recommended!

Food was nice. However the restaurant is so crowded and the service is lacking.

Cocktails were amazingly good. Food was generally good but the vegan dish (smashed avocado) was very plain and boring. They could have make it more interesting by adding stronger flavour ingredients. Service was a bit slow.

Delicious food, top service and good atmosphere

Food and coffee were OK, nothing special. Staff ignored us for the first 10 min, just laughing and joking with each other, bad service overall. Not worth going back again

Reserved for brunch and was able to sit down early as arrived before our slot. Quite out of town so had to travel out by tram from central Amsterdam. Big portion of chicken and waffles which we shared as we have smaller appetites. It kept us going until dinner. Delicious pink homemade lemonade, would recommend trying it!

The Brussels sprouts, goat cheese, kimchi, etc was amazing. The faburrito - I personally felt it missed taste. The eggs were too soggy and tasteless. The bloody Mary’s especially Cartel - are the best 😍

I love the new renovated location, it is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. Loved the service which was relaxed and also attentive, with a smile. My only comment, as a Canadian, is the poutine needs to be considered as it should have more gravy and cheese. The idea is the gravy should saturate the fries and cheese till the cheese becomes stingy. Cheese was minimal. Maybe the Amsterdam scene prefers it this way as people may not like soggy fries so maybe offer 2 versions - Amsterdam style and Canadian style. Bloody Caesar was perfection. We enjoyed the caesar salad as well. I will definitely go again as it is a special place.

I went there for the first time, had brunch and loved it! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. What a cute spot for brunch and or dinner. I really enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend Miss G's to everyone.

Amazing Bloody Mary mix. Great food with reasonable prices.

Let me start with, I am an American expat. I love that they have an "American" inspired brunch here. There are about 8 bloody marys to choose from which are some of the best I've had yet here. They have a greats selection of brunch dishes and so far, I've been really happy with everything I've had. Lastly, the service has been spot on. My wife and I (and the friend that I was with last time) prefer to sit and eat at the bar. The bartender was friendly, reasonably chatty and the other staff were also attentive. Atmosphere was fine, kinda had a 90's era upscale diner feel to it. I have my own esoteric preferences for atmosphere but those notwithstanding, it was a nice place. As an American who misses home, this was the kind of setting that gave me a sense of gezellig. Thanks Miss G's!

Great food and a delightful brunch with friends. Looks a lot more light and airy since the refit but it is a tiny bit cramped. Well worth it for the food and drinks though!

Good spot for a drink and snacks. Solid French fries and fun drinks. It’s no Wisconsin Bloody Mary, but probably the best Bloody Mary I’ve had on the European continent.

The perfect place for a (boozy) brunch with friends, couples or families. Really friendly and easy going staff, good vibes with the art and the music and high quality food. Would definitely recommend and will for sure return!

They’ve changed owners apparently and are now called MISS G’s. Booked online, it was not so busy for a Saturday morning. I tried the Waffles with Fried Chicken, Bacon and Maple Syrup. Service was super fast. Unfortunately the waffle seemed a bit overcooked and the chicken missed seasoning. I had some allergic reaction to the waffle, I guess it was the vanilla flavouring, so left it aside. Big meal, even without waffle! Staff had to access the basement (in the middle of the floor) to get some ingredients and when they’ve opened that door the smell that came out was terrible! Humidity and sewage odours… Made me lose the appetite… hope the ingredients are kept well protected in there!

Super klantgericht en een fijne sfeer jammer dat de vis leverancier niet geweest was waardoor ik mijn hele bestelling moest aanpassen. Kom hier zeker terug voor de sfeer.

Great brunch! Lots of classics with a southern theme. Plenty of options, great cocktails, and quick service.

Ik bestelde hier eerder chicken and waffles and Cajun fries. Ik had het liever bij de fries kunnen houden, die waren wel lekker maar de chicken and waffles voor 17 euro waren de prijs echt niet waard sorry, de kip had helemaal geen kruiden, niet eens peper of zout. Ik vond het best teleurstellend voor die prijs.

Best bloody Mary in Amsterdam! Get the bacon bloody mary. The chicken and waffles are awesome. The waitstaff are attentive and knowledgeable.

We always have a great time at Gs. The food is great, the bloody Mary’s are so tasty and the staff are really friendly and nice. definitely recommend for all your fried chicken cravings and hangover bloody Mary’s!

The food was great, cocktails also. My wife was smitten with the handsome staff. I only gave the atmosphere a 3 because I personally don’t like white walls and ultramodern. But the food and drinks made that not matter.

G’s is back and better than ever! I was really looking forward to G’s reopening its location in de Pijp ✨ Chicken and waffles was great, just a little too greasy and cooked but still delicious. I found the updated extras prices too high for the size of them e.g. Haloumi cheese is ~4€ and it is 2 tiny thin slices of it. The new ambiance of the place is amazing, modern yet cosy and finally the kitchen is completely separated of the area of the table so you don't get all the smell on you 👏🏼

Wonderful place! Traditional American diner feel with a creative Amsterdam twist. We enjoyed waffles with tasty crunchy chicken and maple syrup, best start of the weekend I could wish for. I’ll be back for breakfast soon! (Or brunch, or cocktails...)

Nice waffle and chicken with a small terrace

Late brunch after arriving in the city, and we found this place. Great selection of different breakfast and the food was amazing. Their fried chicken waffle is to be particularly commended for its juiciness. Service was impeccable and the waiter was super helpful, even explaining some things about the city to us. Their little terrasse also allows you to take in the city, while also being in a more quiet part of the street. Overall, definitely recommend.

I love the crunchy chicken on a wafle. Cool place to go for boozy brunch. They have a good selection of cocktails 🍸 👌 I'd recommend making a reservation, it's a popular place.
