Aurora in Nieuwmarkt/Lastage

The owner of this place is easily one of the most sexist, arrogant, and disrespectful individuals I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The way customers are treated is beyond unacceptable it’s outright offensive and degrading. This is not just bad service, it’s a complete lack of basic human decency. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this place as possible, even if it were the last place on earth. Absolutely disgraceful. Shame on them.

One star is already too much. A waffle that's 3-4 days old is considered fresh and still edible, and therefore offered for sale. It was as hard as a rock; you couldn't chew or enjoy it! Anyone visiting Amsterdam should avoid this shop!

Tourist shop. Real Amsterdammers stay away from this place. The owner is very rude.

Terrific and super friendly owner, amazing service, and great products!

They told me to go out of the place becouse I asked them if they where from Italy (the owner was dressed with an Italian flag and I just wanted to know if I could speak Italian to make my order) EDIT: it was not this place, it was the Italian place nearby lol sorry this looks nice!

Horrible service, super unfriendly and uninterested!! You get takeaway espresso in plastic cups.. Average coffee.. Don't recommend it :(
