Vegan Indian Kitchen in Helmersbuurt

We went there looking for an Indian restaurant with vegan options, did not disappoint! We ordered samosa, vegan chicken byriani and vegan butter chicken, they also brought us free poppadom and a mini potato dish as they were taking a bit long to serve us. Any chicken dish could be made vegan and they had regardless many vegetarian choices on the standard menu. The guy also still made us a 30% discount ( we thought we booked with the fork but we did a mistake on our side), very kind and very recommended! Ps. The place is called Dosa in reality, they have share kitchens, bit confusing as there is no sign outside saying vegan Indian kitchen, but trust them!

I should have read these reviews before I placed order via Uber. False delivery timing, 1 hour late as you can see with the time on my phone vs delivery time written on the Uber app. I called at 18:45, I was told the delivery is on the way, I called again at 19:00, I told them I’ll cancel this order and the female staff agreed but Uber called the restaurant and they ignored calls from Uber, as you can read in the screenshot. When they took a call from Uber once, they told Uber that I cannot cancel. I’m already furious about the fact that Uber has this restaurant on the selection even. Ordered garlic Nan and delivered normal Nan. Scam.

Great curry and India won the cricket. It's go tons of veggie and vegan options too. Staff are lovely and on the corner to allow for great people watching

Ordered food from this place after a long day. Waited an hour. Called to ask when it would be delivered. They told me 10 more minutes. Waited another hour. Never arrived so I canceled. Waste of time.

Don’t go. Really disappointing. Clearly made to trap vegans. The food isn’t good. We ordered the Butter Chicken. What arrived was a box of sauce, with what can only be described as tiny slimy sliced up bits of tinned sausage inside. No flavor. Gross! Onion bhaji was an equal waste of money. Arrived cold, tiny, smushed up. Samosas were salty. Not worth the money. Wouldn’t eat here even if it was free. Clearly prepared by non-vegans who wouldn’t even eat this themselves.

Delivery Shockingly Bad However Food Amazing Should not be on a delivery app if they can not live up to the expectations of today’s customer needs.

Amazing place. My friend and I have ordered there many times and it has never disappointed. I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews because the food is amazing and portions are huge. I recommend the butter chicken and the samosas!!

We ordered the vegan butter chicken and it arrived 2.5 hours later. The butter chicken was too sweet and had no taste. The vegan chicken and naan were really chewy. A big disappointment.

Ordered 19:45, it’s 21:38 and we’re still waiting… if you don’t have capacity, don’t accept orders! Or at least answer the phone 🤷🏻‍♂️

Be careful of this place and do not order. We ordered from this restaurant on a random evening at 7:50 PM and although the indicative delivery timeline was between 8:50 PM, it did not arrive till 10:27 PM. Also the app was not showing any updates and the restaurant helpdesk was not giving any proper response. Bad experience and not recommended. Also the food arrived cold and the quality was horrendous. The paneer tasted like a week old and the naan was aweful. Moreover it was sweet, i mean sweeet like a desert. Total waste of money
