Biryani by kilo in Slotervaart Noord

Absolutely terrible,probably the worst takeout place I’ve ever ordered from. The food took over two hours to arrive; it was nearly cold and tasteless, just insanely spicy and nothing else. The naan was burnt and greasy. Given the price I paid, I expected to at least be able to eat it rather than throwing it in the trash.

No reception on the phone, order over 30 minutes late. 0 response on the phone, food ice cold by the time it arrives. Better to order from an ice cream shop, same result.

Really ridiculous.. I ordered food even after literally 2 hours not delivered . On top of it don't have courtesy to inform or pick the call. I was starving like hell. It was a nightmare trusting this people when I'm starving.

Waited for hours but I never received my order. Also unreachable as the phone number is incorrect.

Avoid, 2 h late, never order there

They sent us aloo paranthas that we get in frozen readymade packets in Indian grocery stores. They were not fresh at all. I already had them in my freezer, if I wanted to eat those, I wouldn’t have ordered them from a restaurant. Thats not expected at all. But apart from that their naans and chana are really good. And the fact that they delivered the food to us in NDSM is great.

Worst possible delivery service, food is 3 hours late and then they say no order was received. Has happened multiple times, avoid this place.

Absolutly fantastic service and biryani!! Not sure why there are all these bad reviews but we ordered at 9:15 biryani arrived at 10:00 we are 7km the otherside of Amsterdam so this was expected. The food was absolutly delicious though inwould recommend not putting French fries in a plastic container :)) for future reference! Biryani was tasty full of meat fruit and spiced well!! Not too hot!! Thank you!!

Ordered food on the spot, and it took a very long time. It also seemed like priority was given to a group of tourists. Furthermore, they're way too expensive.

This rating for food should be higher. The food actually tastes amazing. But you guys never pick up the phone. Also the delivery time is awfull.

I ordered here through a food delivery app and was not dissappear. I do not believe this place deserves all these low ratings. I ordered the Special Biryani which included delicious rice and different meat sorts. The spices were very yummy. Truth is that I am not Indian, so I cannot speak on the authentication of the dish but I loved it! The spiciness was exactly right for me, still quite spicy but not too hot to handle. The yoghurt sauce was a plus, loved it. Fast delivery and overall no bad impressions! The portion is definitely enough for 2 people.

One of the worst biriyanis I have ever had in my life. I was craving for some good food and I was so disappointed!! The chef just added random spices to some rice and meat to call it a Biriyani. Change the name of the restaurant to ' tasteless biriyani by Kilo'

<Indians beware! Do not order from here> biryani has rice and a bunch of dry chicken cubes. Also, Biryani by kilo is actually 900 gms. 👌😹 Don't you love giving your money to a deceptive business? Look no further. Our friends out here claim this is biryani by kilo, but the weight of the entire delivery by package is 900gms. Casual fraud and false promotion. Am I surprised? Nah.

Don’t order online from them, they never deliver and lie about the actual delivery time. When you call they say that “your friend accepted it for you” What a joke.

I just had a delicious meal!! Delivery was a little late but the restaurant can't do anything about that, was an Uber guest, super friendly!! Don't believe negative reviews and order here!!
